"Well I have a GENIUS idea but I was stopped by prefects. Ah well. I will have to find something that is NOT illegal." She said. She diditn KNOW it was illegal. but it was.

Riley had nothing to do, abosolutely nothing. Ever since he had gotten back from Hogsmeade it had seemed like he was trapped in the castle. Maybe this is what princesses and royalty locked away in towers felt like? He was just that important right? The Gryffindor walked down a random corridor looking for someone to talk to when he came across a hideous statue.

He was startled at first and nearly jumped a few inches off the ground in fright and then looked at the thing in disgust. He looked at it closer and then spoke to it, "If I were as ugly as you I wouldn't want a mirror in my house much less a stone statue perserving it forever." Then he looked at it somemore and pulled his robe up higher towards the back of his neck and stuck an arm making a hunchback beneath it.

He then strode back and forth infront of it. 'Look at me! Im a hunchback too.' he though to himself. Maybe if he stood there people would think there were two statues now?

"If you were as ugly as that statue," Headmaster Tate finally spoke up from where he'd paused in his meandering down the hall, "you could get a job in one of those magical Russian circuses and get paid gobs of money. Might be worth it." He'd been doing his rounds when he heard the young man speaking to a statue.

Amusing. "But alas, you'll have to live with being merely ordinary looking."

Riley continuesd to stumbled back and forth as a make-shift Hunchback when a voice broke the silence of the empty hallway. Riley jumped again and felt the blood leave his upper half when he saw it was the Headmaster. He quickly deflated his hunchy backside and stood straight infront of Professor Tate, his hands hanging at his sides.

"Hello Professor, I didn't see you there." he chuckled nervously. He hadn't seen all of that had he? Then he spoke about the 'ugliness' and such. Oh he had. "Yeah maybe I will..." he said absently, mostly just agreeing with his subordinate then realizing what he had said. 'I'm not ordinary!' but it was in his mind.

"So Professor do you always pop up in awkward times of the students? Is there some sort of weirdo-moment meter in your office?" he asked with a small grin, hands digging into his pokets. Surely it was blaring right now had it existed.

"Maybe I'm just lucky. Or you should keep your conversations with inanimate objects short and out of public places. It's more likely to keep you from looking like a nut," Tate mused as he approached the statue, giving it a firm pat on the hump.

"How are you doing this fine day, Mr. Sinclair?"

Riley nodded thinking about that to himself. He didn't believe him, luck couldn't be that useful in a school this size. There was definately a awkward-meter in the Headmaster's Suite and he had just made a mental note to find it when and if he ever was invited there. While he was planning this in his small, vapid head he missed what he thought, after catching the tail end of it, was supposed to be kind of an insult.

"Umm will do Professor." he sulated the Headmaster shortly and then thought about how his day was going. "Well I went to breakfast and then walked around the grounds a bit, got cold, came back inside, poked at a crack in the wall on the first floor for a few minutes, and then came up here and was talking to old....what's-her-face here." he gestured over his shoulder with his thumb at the statue. "And wondering what on earth I'm supposed to do with this random Muggle coing that crazy old couple gave me and a few others the other day for pushing their car out of Hogsmeade." The sixth year said matter-of-factly.

"You should pay a visit to Healer Moretti to have your ears scoured out," Tate responded, his voice light. "I asked how you were, lad, not for a recap of your every thought and movement since breakfast. An easy mistake to make."

Or not. The kid was a Gryffindor, after all, and probably mistakenly thought his every move was interesting. Tate felt the same way.

"Wait a moment. I think I received an owl about that, in the midst of the other owls I got this past weekend. You left the boundary of Hogsmeade?"

Riley was a bit taken aback, the Healer? Was he sick? Oh well he didn't really hear what he had said, he did seem to think to much about things and miss what others were saying. Maybe that was what he had meant. "Oh sorry. I'm doing well, how are you?"

Did that mean he wasn't worried about that wall crack? *shrug*

Oh so structual damage to a multiple century old Castle was dull yet a gross old muggle couple was that shocking, they were in Hogsmeade but still. He nodded his head and then looked confused, "Wait, what? I didn't leave the boundary, we pushed their car-thing over it. The old man kept sputtering about and then blabbed on about his wife and how their car broke down and they didn't know how to get back. But we helped them find it and pushed them out of Hogsmeade." he spoke quickly as the story unfolded. The Gryffindor still didn't know what he was supposed to do with this Muggle coin.

"Yes, but lad... Muggles can't get into Hogsmeade. If you saw a Muggle, then you weren't in Hogsmeade." It was so perfectly logical to him, and he couldn't understand how one didn't KNOW they'd wandered out of the village. You were either in the village, or you weren't. And Sinclair obviously had not been in the village.

Obviously.

"Really? What was it?" Emily perked up a little. She was interested, very much so. Then... Wait! Illegal?
"Illegal?" she repeated "Uh... how so?"
She was even more interested now.

Riley didn't understand, was the Professor on his way to the Healer? He was the one not making any sense. He was obviously in Hogsmeade because he was, there were other students there too. "But I was in Hogsmeade Headmaster!" he said stressing the 'in' part. "We were on the main road and everything, others were there too the snakes Evelyn and Sierra, and a puff named Mia. We were with the old Muggles, they looked like Muggles to me, and they took us to their broken down car behind the Three Broomsticks."

Blah, blah, blah manual labor and... "Then we pushed their car out and they drove off."

"Well, that's interesting," Tate responded slowly, processing the information. He probably should have responded to that little Hufflepuff's owl right away if there were in fact Muggles in Hogsmeade. Or else this was some sort of mass hallucination.

"I'm afraid I need to get back to my office, lad. You'll... stop talking to statues?"

"Yeah it is, I guess." Riley shrugged, he wasn't really that worried by the fact that they had been there he was more worried by the Muggle spittle that had landed on his arm from the old man's wheezing.

But before he could mention anything about it to the Headmaster, he had finally realized that Riley was not making up the incident and needed to leave. "Yes Professor I will try not to." and he waved at the man. Now he just needed to see if he needed any type of vaccine for that Muggle spit.

Sammy was on a mission. As always. Never a boring moment, well sometimes there was, but they don't count. She was on a mission to find the ugliest statue in the school. And as she turned down the Third Floor. She found it, she went up real close to it, making sur eit was definitely the worst. "Yup, most definitely the ugliest" she said to herself.

Adam looked upon the humpbacked withc and stared at it with a disgusted look.

"AhHH...A Weeping Witch...Though, angel would make more sense..."He said to himself. Then he spotted a blonde, that blonde. Slowly he tried to get out of the place but he seemed to trip over his long untied shoelace...Falling onto his behind staring up "H-H-Hi Katie..."He said.

Sammy's ears had pricked up at the fact he was talking about something weeping. But she didn't say anything yet, just in case. But when the unknown kid called her Katie? WHAT. "I'm not that short" she muttered, before informing him, of his mistake. "I'm not Katie. I'm Sammy. Katie's older sister." she said. Though she had to admit, they did look REALLY alike. She had thought she was looking in an enchanted mirror one time.

"Pollyjuice." Anna said simply. "I didn't KNOW it was illegal. My dad hadn't been there long enough to get to that part of wizardry."

Oh sorry. It's just you look a lot like her and well...Nevermind..Anyways, nice to meet you Sammy. Are you just as....different as Katie?"He asked, doing his best not to say anything to mean. Sammy could be a complete opposite of Katie and he didn't want to ruin a not even started friendship.

"I'm Adam."He introduced himself.

"Polyjuice potion? You were gonna drink some polyjuice potion?" she was very interested now. "Why on earth were you gonna do that?!" That was so dangerous!... But cool!

Sammy smiled. But then she got confused, different? Well Amy would say she was special, Dan said skillful, but Sammy had always called herself majestic, because it was an awesome word. "If you mean she's a completely nutzo about everything, then no, I'm different from her" she said, not quite sure what the kid meant.

Then he introduced himself, *le gasp* "so you're the imfamous Adam" she said more to herself, well they were sisters it's not as if Katie wouldn't have told her about Adam, jeez. "Nice to meet you Adam" she said happily, anyone who was an enemy of Katie's always got a fresh start with Sammy, she wasn't judging people because what her sister says.

"That's good then."He said.

Perhaps Sammy was more calm and less erm, crazy than Katie.He wasn't going to judge her, she did seem more relaxed and calm than Katie. Adam wasn't the one to always judge right off the bat, but being a STAR family well he had his reasons.

"I'm infamous....?"He asked more so to himself.

"Thanks Katie. I never said anything so rude about you..."He muttered under his breath.

"So Sammy, what house are you in?"If she had ended up somewhere other than Slytherin she would be on good terms with him.

Sammy raised an eyebrow at him and his darn muttering. But she let it pass her, he seemed nice enough, and why should she believe Katie? She was a Hufflepuff, becaus that somehow applies. WHatever. What house was she in? "Hufflepuff" she said proudly. She was the proudest puff, and the loudest for that matter. "What about you?" she asked, because he wasn't in Hufflepuff. SHe knew that much, and she was guessing he wasn't in Slytherin. But Ravenclaw of Gryffindor?

"Ahh, huffpuff...You are one of the calm people, aren't you. I'm the energetic and bold Gryffindor Lion Boy."He said, thumping his chest so hard he doubled over from the pain.
"I tend to hurt myself on accident a lot."He said, half laughing at himself.

Sammy laughed. He thoughtHufflepuff was the calm house. *snort* He was sooo wrong. Then managed to KILL hurt himself. "Trust me, Hufflepuffs are not calm. In any sense" she said witha smirk. Mainly her and Amy were the nutters. "but apparently we're not as clumsy" she said, with a laugh. Yep, she was not seeing why Katie hated this guy as much as she did, he was funneh.

You trip a lot? Cause I trip on myself so much."He said.Adam wondered if saying this out loud would cause him any trouble but, who cared, it was Katie, he wasn't gonna fuss over her now."I can't believe you are Katie's sister...Unless this is your semi calm time?"He guessed with one eyebrow raised.
