Welcome to the Hufflepuff Locker room. Along the wall you see lockers to store your school robes during practice or matches. You see loads of magical pictures displaying past Hufflepuff players. There is one of Nikolai Vannacutt on his broom flying high over the Quidditch Stadium. Another one shows Rapunzel Black dodging a Bludger. There is an emotional picture of Evy Abagnale hoisting the Quidditch Cup into the air with her teammates surrounding her. You can see Terry Weasley performing a outstanding save to keep a Hufflepuff lead. A picture of Miranda BelCanto, a former captain, is displayed with all Hufflepuff captains from the past years.

Hufflepuff colors of black and gold are everywhere. Quidditch equipment and robes are here for the new team to wear and use. There is an entrance to the pitch, too.

Come in, take a seat, and tune up your broomstick before heading out to practice or a game.

The locker room and practice pitch is the place where Hufflepuff Captain Melanie Lockhart will hold practices and post announcements. It is not a place for you to RP, unless your captain says that it's okay to RP getting ready for a game or when a game is over.

OOC-only comments are not allowed in this thread. If you have a question/comment, please send the person a PM.

Only those who are on the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team roster are permitted to post in this thread. The only exception to this rule are substitutes approved by the Quidditch Official. House prefects and school staff may also post in this thread when needed.

Treyen threw it back in play... Right at Simon. Melanie assumed it was an accident, of course. Neither one of them were really paying attention so looks of surprised amusement crossed both of their faces as the quaffle hit Simon in the head, bounced off, and began to fall again.

Simon retrieved the Quaffle and, rather than shoot again, he tossed it to Melanie. "Practice over. You guys did great!" Hehe. "I'll see you at the next practice!" She waved goodbye and they landed, Treyen still wearing a good-natured grin after the last play.

When they had all departed from the pitch, Melanie gathered up the remainder of the Quidditch supplies and packed them away. Then she left herself.

Melanie hovered above the pitch with the quaffle in her hands, bludgers and snitch already released and flying about. There, looking over the breathtaking view of the grounds, she awaited the arrival of the Hufflepuff team.

Annnnd there they were. Melanie blew her whistle and, in a blur of motion, the Hufflepuff team members present rose to the air. After another blow of the whistle, she tossed the quaffle high in the air. Wasting no time, Katie flew forward to grab the red ball.

She approached the goalposts, raised her arm, and moments later the ball soared through the left hoop.

In Melanie's opinion, it was wonderful weather for flying. Though the winter air was still chilly, the sky was clear and the sun was shining. It inspired a bounce in the Captain's step, as she made her way down to the pitch. She released the latch on the crate containing the bludgers and the snitch, and, within a few moments, they were in the sky. After tucking the quaffle underneath her arm, Melanie followed. In a minute or so, she spotted approaching team members. She waved, took a deep breath and...

TWEEEEEEEEEEET!

Soon, they were up in the air.

Melanie blew her whistle a second time, and tossed the quaffle high in the air. Simon was first to come forward and grab the red ball... Then, wasting no time, he was zoomed forward toward the hoops.

Meanwhile, Jake seemed to already have his hands on the snitch. When she looked over at the seeker, Melanie spotted the unmistakable golden ball held in his clenched fist. Yay!

As Melanie tossed the quaffle back in play, Simon gained possession. Eager to take another shot at the goal hoops, he shot down the pitch again... narrowly avoiding collision with Jake. The Hufflepuff seeker ducked just in time, diving quite a few feet before catching the snitch yet again.
