Welcome to the Hufflepuff Locker room. Along the wall you see lockers to store your school robes during practice or matches. You see loads of magical pictures displaying past Hufflepuff players. There is one of Nikolai Vannacutt on his broom flying high over the Quidditch Stadium. Another one shows Rapunzel Black dodging a Bludger. There is an emotional picture of Evy Abagnale hoisting the Quidditch Cup into the air with her teammates surrounding her. You can see Terry Weasley performing a outstanding save to keep a Hufflepuff lead. A picture of Miranda BelCanto, a former captain, is displayed with all Hufflepuff captains from the past years.
Hufflepuff colors of black and gold are everywhere. Quidditch equipment and robes are here for the new team to wear and use. There is an entrance to the pitch, too.
Come in, take a seat, and tune up your broomstick before heading out to practice or a game.
The locker room and practice pitch is the place where Hufflepuff Captain Melanie Lockhart will hold practices and post announcements. It is not a place for you to RP, unless your captain says that it's okay to RP getting ready for a game or when a game is over.
OOC-only comments are not allowed in this thread. If you have a question/comment, please send the person a PM.
Only those who are on the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team roster are permitted to post in this thread. The only exception to this rule are substitutes approved by the Quidditch Official. House prefects and school staff may also post in this thread when needed. | |

So, Simon had the quaffle again. He was already near the goalposts, where Treyen hovered. Simon wasted no time in tossing the quaffle at the left goal hoop... And Treyen wasted no time in getting there. He just barely managed to catch the quaffle before it soared through... And then he threw it back in play.

Simon had to fly back from the hoops to get the quaffle, but, again, he gained possession of the red ball. Determined this time, to get it in, he approached the the hoops again. He faked left, but Treyen didn't fall for it and, as the quaffle went soaring at the center goal hoop he easily kicked it away.
Jake, meanwhile, was on the other side of the field searching for the elusive snitch.

Ah... He didn't seem to have found it yet, though. Melanie turned her attention back to the other side of the pitch.
Simon had possession of the quaffle once more. He raised his arm to shoot... but a bludger was coming his way. Isobel flew for it, and she arrived in the nick of time, to whack it away from her teammates. Simon recovered from the brief scare quickly and tossed the quaffle at the right hoop.
Treyen was clearly on his game. He made it there just in time to catch the quaffle.

Treyen sort of... dropped the quaffle. And then, as Simon went for it, he flew into a goalpost. Thankfully, he seemed to recover quite quickly, as it wasn't a hard hit. He was forced to dodge a bludger moments later as, not realizing he was near the ground, Isobel accidentally whacked one at him. Simon dodged it, rubbing his shoulder as he went after the quaffle.

Bringing his arm back, Treyen chucked the quaffle back in play, over Simon's head. Simon raised his arms to catch it. Then he lobbed the red ball at the hoops again.
