Katie grabbed the quaffle with ease, once more, and started down the pitch. It wasn't long before one of those dratted bludgers came flying at her again! Katie managed to dodge it, but the quaffle fell from her hands in the process. Oh no!

Isobel came forward to get rid of the pesky bludger. She swung back with all her might and knocked it down the field, away from her teammates.

That was certainly unexpected. She had just been about to celebrate... Isobel's eyes widened as it came flying back at her like a boomerang. She had just enough time to raise her beater's bat, and that's just what he did... With a loud, satisfying THUD! she hit it down, at the ground.

Meanwhile, Katie managed to regain control of the quaffle. She headed toward the goalposts Treyen was guarding, and he readied himself, hovering by the center goal hoop.

Katie faked left, and while Treyen drifted in that direction... He wasn't completely fooled. As she shot to the right, Treyen make it there just in time to kick the quaffle away from the hoops he was guarding.

Melanie flew forward to grab the quaffle, starting to bring the whistle to her lips. She didn't manage to, though... for one of the bludgers was careening toward her and, naturally, she hesitated. Thankfully, Isobel knocked it away. She was clearly on her game. "Thank you," Melanie gave her a small smile of gratitude... And then she blew her whistle.

TWEEEEET!

"You all played wonderfully today." Yeah, her teammates were EPIC. "Practice is over. I'll see you all soon!" The team dispersed, and, after gathering up all the supplies, Melanie departed from the pitch as well.

Melanie hummed to herself as she lugged the crate out to the center of the field. She let the bludgers and the snitch out, watching them until they branched off in different directions. Then she grabbed the quaffle, and mounted her broom.

Within a few moments she was hovering above the pitch, watching as the team began to come out on the grass.

At the blow of her whistle, they rose off the ground, and into the air. Once everyone was up, Melanie blew her whistle again, and lobbed the quaffle up in the air. She moved swiftly out of the way as Simon flew forward to claim it. He zooooomed down the field... Heading for the goal hoops, of course.

Meanwhile, Jake was heading in the same direction, presumably for different reasons. Had he spotted the snitch already?

Correct Answer: Emeric "the Evil" is what I was going for (According to Dumbledore's commentary The Tales of Beedle the Bard), but Antioch Perverell IS technically correct too. I should have worded that differently, so I'll give both of you a point.

Of course he had. The snitch was sparkling underneath Treyen's foot... Simon raised his arm to shoot and as he did, Treyen dived. In the process, Treyen kicked the snitch. He batted the quaffle away and, as Simon flew forward to grab it again, Jake snatched the snitch from the air.
