Large quantities of food are spread before you. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Hogwarts' house elves are the best in the world. The food is superb and the company is as well.

Christopher pushed away his plate, waiting for her to put down her tea. When he made sure it was positively on the table, unable to be spilled, he wrapped his arm around her shoulders, grinning. Christopher chuckled when she mentioned Professor Vindictus. He was very strict and didn't seem to like many of the students. "Vindictus is pretty tough. He took ten points from Gryffindor when Elyon tried to use magic to get a ton icing off of Kurumi. I love classes, second year is going almost as good as first!" First year had been the best year of Christopher's life. But this year with Dad getting even worse..... he felt he should tell Violet, but he would do it another time. It was right to do it now.

"Aw, Vi! Don't cry! Vindictus is just a grump. Don't let him upset you!" He brushed a strand of her out of her eyes and smiled. "Don't let the teachers get you upset! It's all apart of the learning experience here at Hogwarts." He grinned at her, her sparkling eyes dazing him.

Christopher felt his stomach drop. "Thanks. Me too..." She wanted to know about anything 'new and exciting' in his life. "Definately something new going on, that's for sure," He muttered under his breath, hoping Violet wouldn't hear. It wasn't the right time to tell her. He'd have to tell her sometime though....

Taking a seat beside him was harder than standing up since she had the two plates, and she finally had to place them down before taking her seat. "Cause it never turns out how its suppose to.." A small frown crossed her face. "My food keeps burning." As soon as the frown appeared, it disappeared, replaced by a smile. "I don't need to cook anyways. My mom cooks at home and the house elves cook here."

She had to push the plates around to better position them for her eating needs. Her eyes did flick away from the plates when she finished though, to smile at his thanks. "Your welcome."

A slow grin spread across Sabel's expression. "Ah, but you see, there-in may be the problem. I am neither your mother, nor your grandma, nor am I of a female status." He couldn't help his grin from widening playfully. "Perhaps you need a bit of male spice in your cooking?"

It was beyond tempting to snatch that piece of waffle off her fork, but he knew that he may be deserted again if he tried it. He had promised after all. So, instead he followed it with his eyes, back and forth, back and forth. "Well, if you would like me to, I would like to take the time to try. Even if we don't make progress, I am sure we will have fun, and that alone will be worth every bit of effort."

"The basics it is then," she agreed with a head nod. Hopefully the basics also meant no fire. Arya let silence fall between them as she ate her waffles, occasionally sneaking peeks at Sabel.

I'm sorry did you say something?"

Jaina sat down with Alice. She kept thinking about a yummy hot fudge sundae and somehow those lovely house elves (as she wass told they were called) had managed to poof one up to her! "YES!" Jaina giggled with glee! She dug into the whipcream and hot fudge on top. "So, what do you think of that Slytherin boy in transfiguration?" she had plans to go and confront him later on, but wanated to know how her friends felt about him first before she went and got herself into trouble. She'd never been, but she'd risk it if it meant he was gonna be nicer to them.

She was trying to think logically, but let's face it, she was sorted into Hufflepuff and she was beginning to understand why. She was running more on emotion than logic at this point. She had compassion for a kid that was most likely trained to hate because it seemed like that's not what he wanted.

Violet looked at him and saw him tense up. She saw him get uncomfortable and stumble to find the right words to answer her. Violet then said lightly not questioning his tense feeling,"Alright.." She then smiled at him reassuringly. Violet jumped a little when he blurted out suddenly..about the weather. She couldn't help but notice how cute he was when he felt uncomfortable. But Violet couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong with him and he didn't want to say. She then said,"Umm..yeah..it's lovely.."

Slytherins were what her parents call 'Good for nothing know it alls.' It's been like this for the Slytherins since the day Salazar Slytherin was sorted into the house. They were determined for something and thirsted for power, they also judged people by their blood statuses but seeing as Alice was a pureblood herself she probably had no trouble with them. That is... if they don't find out that she has a interest in muggles.

Alice shook her head to get rid of that thought then finished her sentence about Slytherins before Jaina could question her. "Well...I don't want to bring you down or anything...but Jaina, all I can say is..as your well..friend" Alice stopped at friend, what a funny word to say seeing as she hardly even use it. The last time she used it was with her childhood friend but it has been a while. "I support you...and protect you from those nasty bullies but if you...were say to start a relationship with him. It will be difficult. Slytherins just...don't like that idea." Alice had tried her best to mumble the sentence after supporting Jaina but she also tried her best to not tell Jaina about the Slytherins hating the muggleborn students at Hogwarts.

She didn't want to disappoint Jaina especially since she was having fun and she experienced something that even Alice haven't before. That is a definite no.
