Caroline laughed as Kita shook her head. She was funny. Even though they had being friends for a week, it seems like she had known her forever. She wished that she would have met her sooner.

"Well maybe one more slice won't hurt, Right?" she said. pushing her plate over to the cake, and cutting her another slice. She grinned at Kita and took and bite. This time she was going to eat it slowly and enjoy it more. It was better the second time around.

She blushed again, truthful she really didn't know if it was offical, yet. They had made plans to go out or what most people would call 'a date', Well Caroline was kind of confused about where they stood at the moment. "Well, we have plans to go out next Hogsmead weekend which is this weekend." She grinned.

"Oh, how old are your brothers?" Nika wondered out loud. "You're lucky to have someone in the family who can tell you all about Hogwarts. I'm a muggle born and so there is really no one for me to turn to." Nika? Being muggle born? Huh, as if she hadn't made it obvious enough. "It's kinda cool though. Being the only one in the family, well at least that I know of. I get to go home and tell my siblings all about it! A new story and an exciting one!"

Kita smiled as Caroline laughed. She was happy to have met someone sweet like Caroline. It seemed like she had known the blonde for a very long time. Funny how friends can have that effect. And the way she was laughing made it seem like she had actually said or done something that was funny. Did she?

Kita started laughing. "No one can resist the chocolate cake!" she said, nodding wisely. And it was sure a lovely cake. That can make you fat... "One sec..." she whispered, "Does this mean the cake is... evil?!" She certainly hoped not!

Kita smiled at Caroline. "Aw! You're actually blushing!" she said. She put a hand over her heart and looked wisely at her friend. Truth is, she had no experience in these matters. "Oh. My. Days!" she said before squealing, "Oh that's great! Congrats!"

Caroline grinned "We would have to eat a bunch of cake to make us fat" She laughed. my dad always told her that it was always good to have chocolate if I makes you happy. She touched her face it was warm. She had only known Carter for as long as she known Kita. Caroline was already head over heels for him. She laughed as Kita said 'oh my days' that was funny. She was fun to be around. "Thanks"

Kita smirked. "I like that!" she said, nodding, "Now we don't have to feel guilty whenever we eat cake!" That was definitely something to be proud of. In a way.

Kita started laughing when Caroline touched her face. Yeah, it was still pink. Who knew a boy can make you feel that way? "No problem!" she said, taking another bite of the cake before looking up at Caroline seriously, "So, do you know what you're going to wear?" Yeah, it was a very girly question. She just couldn't help it.

Caroline head bolted straight up. She hadn't even thought about what she was going to wear. That small bit of detiails was important for a date. The question what are you going to wear? was the important question for a girl. Caroline wasn't a big girly-girl but she wanted to look good. "I have no idea." she said turning to Kita. She laughed. what was she going to wear? I was kind of funny that it didn't cross her mind about picking out an outfit.

Kita nearly choked from laughter when she heard Caroline didn't know what to wear. Coughing, she said in a hoarse voice, "Seriously?" Wow! This girl was cutting it real fine. She cleared her throat to stop herself sounding like an old man. "You have plenty of time don't worry," she said, "I don't have much experience in these things but i'd say, don't wear anything that says Gryffindor sucks or something on it. You don't want to upset Carter." How awkward would that be?

Caroline laughed to nearly snorting when Kita nearly choked laughed. She took a sip of her pumpkin juice to stop the laughing. "Yeah I know. I'm not much of a girly-girl."She grinned. Oh darn she was going to wear her Slytherin rules, Gryffindor drools shirt, that is if she had one. tehe, "That would be so bad." she shook her head "I should probably wear a cute dress or a cute pair of jeans" She said. She liked the cute pair of jeans idea alot better than the dress. She only dress up in dresses for dances or parties, and when her mother forces her to.

Kita blushing a little but waved it off. She really needed to stop herself from choking half to death these days. "Oh wow! Really?" she said, "Ah, it's good to be in the middle." Or something like that. And anyways, it's not like Kita was all too girly herself. She just leans towards that side when it comes to something as important as a date. "Ooh! Going for cute numbers eh?" she said, waggling her eyebrows, "I'm sure you'll rock that dress or that pair of jeans!" She nodded and took another bite of the cake.

Boys eat.

It's a very known fact. Then again, Arya eats more than he does, so perhaps the facts need a little tweaking.

Either way, Treyen was arriving at the Great Hall for the third time today, yes, for dinner. The boy was still very tired for helping Emmy getting down to the Hospital Wing and then into one of the rooms, that's why he was NOT at Quidditch and decided to have dinner instead. An early dinner, that is. It's not like Captain Lockhart had them on a strict diet or anything. As long as games were won, then she was a happy Melanie.

The first thing he did was pouring some hot chocolate into a cup, he wasn't feeling the pumpkin juice vibe.

Chandler entered the Great Hall in a rather quick pace whilst rubbing his stomach. The boy needed food and FAST before he died out of starvation. He quickly made his way to the Hufflepuff table and without even sitting down he grabbed an apple from a bowl and began chopping it without even noticing his surroundings. And before he knew it he had juice coming down his chin.

FROWN.

The Hufflepuff lifted his hand up and wiped the juice away. "Stupid apple." He said with a mutter and looked around for a napkin because he was NOT going to leave his chin and hand all STICKY! And this was when he saw Treyen. Sat down next to him pouring something what looked like hot chocolate. "Treyen, do you 'ave a napkin or something because...well...look at me." He frowned and looked at him. Hopefully he had a napkin otherwise he would be a unhappy Chandler. POUT.

He heard it. Treyen heard 'Stupid apple' and he knew who it was. Of course he knew, they shared the same dorms, and...actually, the boy had a question to ask Chandler, because he had no idea if Thaddeus bothered him or not. Though, the Knarl was well taken care of.

It wasn't until now that he looked up from his hot chocolate and made his eyes fall on the fellow Badger. He chuckled.

"Honestly, I've seen worse," had Chandler not attended Herbology? Still, he took his wand and accio'd one from the Gryffindor table, they were cool, right? Gryffindors? Yeah, probably. "Here you go," he said, extending the neatly folded napkin to the other boy. It seemed that the house-elves forgot to put some napkins on their table, though.

Now...question time. "I've been meaning to ask you, Chandler, about Thaddeus," yes, Treyen's Knarl, the one Chandler always sees either in the Common Room or the dormitory. "He doesn't bother you at all, does he?" because, if he did, then, well, tough luck Chandie.

Hopefully Rene will meet Rex at the HufflePuff table. She needs to eat after her bad bout with the flu.

Chandler smiled sheepishly at the other Hufflepuff. Good thing he didn't look dreadful. Actually he did, he always did. Chandler never liked his appearance, he was just too ugly to think that he was good looking and he was pretty sure that the apple juice made his appearance look even less pleasing to look at. "I'm glad." He grinned faintly and watched Treyen accio a napkin. "Zanks, man." He wiped his face, his hands and anywhere else he could feel the sticky juice on him. He was sure that he would need to wash the places with water later to get rid of the stickiness but he was okay for now.

Thaddeus? That was Treyen's Knarl right? Chandler had never paid attention to what the Knarl's name was but he nodded at him. "Bother me? Oh no, 'e doesn't, why do you ask?" It wasn't like he had ever owned Knarls before so he didn't know if they were meant to bother people or not. He hoped not because he wouldn't be too pleased.

No, come on, he was being completely honest. Chandler has clearly not been involved in any sort of re-potting or fertilizing activities in Herbology, and he was kind of hoping to be there if the fellow badger ever attended them. It would seem like fun, right?

"You're more than welcome." He said, with one nod, a smile, and a sip of his now-cold chocolate. It didn't seem to bother him, the cold chocolate. Odd, since he'd been looking forward to something warm, that's why he didn't pour some pumpkin juice instead.

Treyen grinned. Good news for Thaddeus. "It's just....he seems kind of on edge, and, yes, I know Knarls tend to be suspicious...," thank you CoMC books, "...but that usually goes for food, also...he woke me up whilst squealing over some silly shadow...which I know was nothing more than one of the curtains...but I didn't know if you woke up as well," and that hadn't been the only night, silly Knarl, "I just...wanted to know." Unless, of course, that shadow had actually been some sort of message by Fletcher and the guy was in need of help.

If that was the case, then he'd failed miserably.

Ellie wandered into the great hall and sat herself down at the Hufflepuff table. Wait, this was the Puff table right? Was she supposed to know these things? She didn't really pay attention to anything other than the Ravenclaw table... Huh. And there was like, no one there, so... Hopefully this was the right one.

Because she told Alex and Chandler that she'd meet them there. So, she just waited. And what better way to wait than eat an apple right? Right! She grabbed an apple and polished it with her tunic before taking a big bite out of it. MM, tasty.

Alex walked into the Great Hall with, as usual, a grumbling stomach. He was hungry! Which was one of the reasons why he was there of course, the other one being that he would meet one of his best friends and The Girl. Ellie Johanson. *sigh* He really should stop referring to her as The Girl, but once he's started it, it was difficult to stop. Besides, he really didn't want to stop.

Not taking his usual route to the Slytherin table he walked towards the yellow one, scanning the table for his twin or The Girl. Ah, just there. He spotted the pretty Ravenclaw girl and walked up to her with a sheepish smile he didn't know he had. "Hey." he smiled and sat down next to him. She was alone, perhaps Chan was late.

"Ironic, a Ravenclaw and a Slytherin at the Hufflepuff table." he chuckled. "Doesn't make any sense." he grinned.

Jake had actually ventured somewhere other than the Library, the Hufflepuff Common Room and the Kitchens. Aside from classes, those were the only places he went... and now, in a haze, he found himself HERE.

With PEOPLE around.

It made him feel awkward.

Taking a seat, Jake noticed his cat, Lolcat, following him in. As soon as he sat, the cat jumped on his lap and sat there. Jake stared at him for a moment. "Kisses?" he asked the feline quietly, and the cat affectionately headbutted him in the face.

Giving a little smile, Jake looked at the table. He probably SHOULD eat... he had lost some weight. A little sun would do him good as well. But as for now? Jake glanced up at the ceiling, an acceptable atmosphere replacement.

It was times like this that Jake found himself wondering where he could find a Neptune.

"Kisses?" Neptune had SO been waiting on Jake to make an appearance. In fact, she'd been waiting for a few days really. He seemed.... distracted? Something. And she was certainly bored and restless. "Don't mind if I DO."

She totally laid a BIG one on his cheek, loud smacking sort.

"Hi stranger. Remember me? Most call me Neptune." Giggle. She climbed onto the bench, knees first, and hovered over Jake. She was sort of demanding attention.

Okay, well... that was a surprise kiss.

Jake hadn't expected that, hadn't been paying attention to his surroundings, and hadn't heard Neptune. So that made him jump.

But then... ohaiiiii.

"Most do, but I call you Tune," Jake smiled, turning slightly to Neptune, causing Lolcat to jump on the table, sit and STARE between them.

Jake shimmied a little closer to Neptune, wanting to snuggle, at least for a minute, and looked up at her, feeling suddenly YOUNG. "Long time no see... my fault, I know."

Neptune reached up and TUGGED on each of Jake's earlobes. Giggle. She DID allow him to call her Tune and actually didn't mind at all. "The important part," Neptune leeeeeeeeeeaned into him so her NOSE was almost to his, "is whether or not you missed me terribly. Did you? Describe it. In detail. Tell me how you ACHED for me."

....Neptune had been like really bored. And restless. And MORE restless. Could he tell? She TUGGED on his ears again, simply for the attention.

'Cos, you know, he didn't do the grab!snogging thing.

"I did miss you. A lot," he assured her, but was bad with details on feelings. "Missed you telling me to cut my hair, missed your big blue eyes, missed your voice, missed your nagg- uhhh... concern, missed YOU." The young man kissed each of Neptune's hands.

Then... he kind of sighed.

I disappeared off into the library and my own little world for ages, and I nearly completely went AWOL from school..."

He trailed off, shook his head slightly, but continued hugging.

"I guess, what I'm trying to say, Tune, is that... even though I'm not perfect, and I act different and weird... I really do... like you. Like... I... you mean a lot to me. I think..."

No. He'd stop at that, because his stutter was about to return. Jake leaned forward again. He kind of wanted to kiss her again, but after saying all that... she had to have an OPPORTUNITY to speak.

As it were, she waited until he was done - then she looked smug. And a little breathless. GIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGLE. She was BUZZING with good feelings and tingly and YAY FINALLY ...but Jake was like talking. A lot. Giggle.

Neptune took his face and hushed him with a kiss. She used his earlobes to reign him in again.

"I like you, too, King Jacob. Your scruffy hair is even growing on me." Though she mostly still wished it would stop growing. She pulled away from him, half considering going back for MORE, half wanting to show him what she'd gotten him. Miss Bott was a LITTLE bit attention starved. Did it show?

She got a book out and placed it in front of face, covering from just below her eyes and the rest of her face. The cover had moving Quidditch players, practicing SAFE flying maneuvers. It was a book about Flying SAFETY. And it was for Jake. She made shifty eyes from behind the book.
