Glad that her friend had let the subject of visiting the healer and their HoH go, she smiled. She'd visit the woman someday... when she wasn't in her hospital doing her job.

He didn't know how to change it back to water? That was an easy fix. "Just use finite. That or let the spell wear off." She tapped the frozen water gently with one finger. It would be a while before that glass thawed, so unless he wanted to use other glasses of water while he waited for that one, then he'd be better off using finite.

She'd noticed the blushing, but decided not to comment on it or grin, didn't need to make it worse than she already had. When he leaned in to whisper, she leaned in as well, nodding her head when he was done and responding in an equally low tone. "Hope so, but I wouldn't put all my cookies in that jar." After all, she'd never had the slightest idea that Sabel liked her until he flat out told her. The same for her liking him, clueless the both of them were.

She sooo wasn't thinking him a coward.

So, he should try what he'd thought in the first place, no? Finite. That used to work on almost everything, and if it didn't work in this case, then it was just an excuse to eat chocolate covered almonds visit Mr. Stryker.

He nodded, he'll try it, "Finite," he said, wand pointing at the glass...

...and...

...it seemed Treyen didn't measure his strength too much, because the glass had fell on the table and the water was running all over the place. Well, no, not all over the place since Treyen was the only one who managed to get wet by it.

Smooth, Lockhart boy.

So, he could cast difficult spells, but the simplest ones...he couldn't?

"At least we know it worked." He said, shrugging, and trying to stand up without making it more of a mess.

The boy was still smiling, and still holding what was left of his sandwich, "Yeah, I have no idea what you mean by that, but whatever the context...it's never a good thing to put all your cookies in a jar." Ask Aaron. He had candy and cookies and everything stashed ALL over his dormitory. Yet, of course, sweets were 'forbidden' in his school.

"I...think I better go and cast some hot-air charm on this or something." Obviously. And he could've done that in here, but he still needed to get going, no? Someone better warn the elves that two Hufflepuffs will be needing some ingredients for smores, haha.

And he was taking those strawberries with him too. "I'll see you very soon, Arya," he said, and then waved good-bye at Preston, "See you." Around, or something.

Lockhart out.

She watched him try the spell.... and then watched the water spill everywhere. Heh. At least it worked? And at least she hadn't gotten wet. Drawing her wand, she siphoned up all the spilled water so she could stay dry, and to help a friend.

"At least we know it worked." She nodded her head in agreement. A grin spread across her face when he spoke of her analogy. She supposed he would get it eventually.

His leaving reminded her that she had things to do as well, people to see. "See you soon, Treyen." She gave her friend a small wave as she rose from the table, eyes flicking to the younger boy. "See you latter, too."

And with that she skipped off out of the great hall.
