Nika grabbed a chicken leg and added it to her plate. "Thats good to hear! I'm actually doing better in charms and I think as of right now Transfiguration is my best subject! Well besides muggle studies that is." Nika laughed a bit. She knew everything there was to know about muggles. For goodness sakes she used to be a muggle! Well she didn't know that she had powers anyways. It was only when she got her letter that confirmed that she was indeed a witch. Why was she even taking muggle studies? Probably just to have a good grade and be with her friends... "I'm doing really well. I just miss my parents a lot that's all." Nika sighed just thinking about them. She wasn't used to being away from them this long. She even missed her father. Even though he doesn't like the idea of her going to Hogwarts and being a witch and all, she still did miss him. "I want to send them letters, but I'm afraid that the owls might err give them a great scare. Things didn't go so great when my owl came with my Hogwarts letter." She brightened up at the thought of the memory. Boy, was that one hectic night. Nika wanted to stay in touch with them, but how? Owls were out of the question, well for now anyway. Do wizards have telephones? Nika took a bite out of her chicken and reached to add some shepherd's pie to her plate."Do you think there is any other way of getting ahold of them? My parents that is. Do wizards use telephone? Or email?" Nika felt silly asking the question, but she didn't know who else to ask.

"I'm not mad... Hmm... well what argument should we use?"
*Matty had no idea. His uncle dealt with this stuff everyday and when he talked about it Matty sort of tuned things out.*

"Well we done both pro and con ,,And I say it is probley best if we stay hidden and just make our laws so that the minstrey has to do its job better"

"Hmmm I do agree. It would be great to have muggles and wizards live together. But the past has shown that it will never work."

"Well, if you say so." said Viola, as they entered the Great Hall. She still couldn't believe that Helena liked History of Magic. Especially when she is a Slytherin. Hmm probably she is different, thought Viola as she walked towards the Hufflepuff table, Helena walking beside her.

Viola cringed. The ingredients were definitely creepy, she thought. "I agree. The class would be more interesting, if we didn't have to use all those creepy things." she said, as she spotted a couple of empty spaces at the end of the table. She felt much better now, at least, she wasn't shivering. Although, she really looked forward to a hot chocolate.

Helena couldn't help but giggle at Viola's amazement. "I actually prefer the study-only subjects." Hehe. "No risks at all." Not that she didn't like the risky subjects. She loved them.

She sat down next to Viola at the Hufflepuff table, not feeling exactly comfortable. She felt... the same way she did when she sat at the Gryffindor table with Kurumi. No one was going to complain about her presence there, most probably, but it wasn't the Slytherin table. Buuuut at least she was with a friend. Or a friend-to-be at least.

"Feeling better now?" Helena asked, smiling. Viola finally stopped shivering. It was a good thing. She scanned the table for the hot chocolate, then... "There it is!" Mmmmm.

"Oh alright. I prefer subjects that are a bit more practical." Viola replied with a smile. She liked subjects that are theoretical, but not to a great extent.

Viola had a feeling that Helena wasn't exactly comfortable sitting at the Hufflepuff house table. "Hmm are you ok sitting here?" Viola asked, looking at her.

Viola smiled and said "Yes, I am. I've feeling much better now. Thanks." She spotted the steaming hot chocolate nearby. "It looks great." Viola said, grinning. Yumm!

"Hmmm?" That was all she managed to say, still 'hidden' behind her mug of hot chocolate. "Oh." Did she look that uncomfortable?

"I'm... okay," Helena said, trying to smile. "I'm okay." She sounded more confident the second time. "I'm with you," a Hufflepuff, "so that's better."

Back to her hot chocolate.

"Hey, are you going to that Potions for muggles club?" Uh... What was she rambling about? Trying to make a conversation, most probably.

Viola held the mug between her hands. Viola said nothing. Why did she have to ask whether Helena was uncomfortable? It probably made her more nervous. She sighed.

"Oh alright." Viola smiled at her. "Anyway, I don't think there's anything to worry about." Hmm, what was there to worry about? Viola was sure that nobody would have a problem with a Slytherin sitting at the Hufflepuff table. At least, she hoped that no one would create trouble.

She sipped at her hot chocolate. "Yeah, I heard about that. What's it about?" Viola asked. She heard some people talk about it at the common room and she wondered what it was all about.

Helena didn't say anything else about that sitting-at-the-Hufflepuff-table-awkwardness, just smiled back.

Aaaand her hot chocolate was gone.

As for the club... "It's pretty interesting," she grinned. "Even though it's about muggles, again and again" and again and again. Muggles everywhere. Every. Single. Lesson. "I was at the first meeting, but it ended pretty quick. We discussed a bit about some muggle ailments, and professor Lafay told us to make a report about one." One... ailment. Ooooh and the report. Helena had no idea what to write about. Were there any books about muggle ailments at the library?

Viola decided not to bring up the topic of 'Helena sitting at the Hufflepuff table' again, since Helena didn't say anything about it either. She sipped at her hot chocolate and kept quiet.

Haha, Helena didn't seem to like muggles at all. "Well, that's interesting, I suppose.." Viola stopped talking, wondering if Helena would be annoyed if she started talked about muggles. Personally, Viola liked the muggles. The way they lead their lives without magic fascinated her. "Muggle ailments? Yeah, I guess, some potions would help cure muggle diseases. What ailment do you have to write about?" Viola asked curiously.

Muggles, muggles, muggles.

"Yes," Helena said, nodding, "our potions could be really useful for their ailments. There are a lot without cure." And a lot of muggles die because of this.

"And she," professor Lafay, "said we can write about any ailment. We choose. But..." uhh, this was embarrassing. "I don't exactly know much about them." Except for their fashion, which Helena found pretty interesting and amazing. She bent her head down, her face turning red. And no, it wasn't because of that yummy hot chocolate.

"Exactly. Our potions will be very useful to the muggles but will they really accept them? I mean, many of them don't even believe in magic." said Viola. She couldn't understand why many of the muggles don't believe in or sometimes even scared of magic. It's quite weird.

"Oh ok. I'm not sure I know much about muggle ailments either except for the fact that there are a few muggle diseases that have no cure. So, is there going to be another meeting?" Viola asked. She would really liked to attend another meeting, if possible. Haha, Viola could see that Helena was blushing a little. Ah well, there are many who don't know anything about the muggles.

Helena nodded as Viola spoke about the potions. "I was actually thinking about something," she said, her mouth twitching into a smile. "Maybe a healer could pretend to be a muggle healer," she paused for a moment. What was the name... "A doctor, I think. And the healer could pretend to invent a cure, our potions, for the ailments." Helena was grinning now. Hopefully, she didn't look extremely stupid. Maybe... just stupid.

"Yes, there is. We can go together." Her stupid grin faded; she was just smiling now. "But maybe you should write a report too." You know, to make Lafay happy. "She said we're going to do that report orally the next meeting." Not looking forward to that. Not at all.

"That's a good idea." said Viola, agreeing with her. "Yeah. A healer could pretend to be a doctor and can help cure many muggle ailments." Viola thought that this could come as a great advantage to the muggles, since so many of them are suffering from incurable ailments. "Hopefully, we'll be able to make the potions first." Viola added. If the potions cannot be made..

Viola returned her smile and said, "Yes, we can." She was glad that she would be able to go with a friend. WHAT? A report? Orally? She was already feeling nervous. To talk in front of the class is something she has never really been good at and Helena didn't seem really happy about it either. "Umm, when is the next meeting?" Viola asked.

Helena smiled once again, as Viola seemed to agree with her idea. "There are some really smart wizards," or there had to be, "and they'll make the potions. I'm sure."

She started giggling. Viola looked super nervous when she heard about the 'oral report' part. "Don't worry, we're not many students there," yet, "it'll be okay." Hopefully. "And I'm not sure yet, but I'm sure that something will appear on the notice boards." The Hufflepuffs had one too, didn't they?

"Yeah, I really hope so." Viola said. It would be great if they could make potions that would help save the lives of the muggles.

Viola blushed a little, as Helena giggled. She really wanted to attend the meeting, but the oral report was definitely making her anxious. What if she messes it up? Viola smiled as Helena comforted her. "Oh well, that's good. Oh ok. I'll have to check the notice boards, then. Have you started working on that report?" Viola asked. She'll probably have to start as well if she was going to attend that meeting.

Start working on the report? Uhh... "Not really..."

Helena was blushing again. She knew almost nothing about muggles. How was she supposed to do a report about muggle ailments? Maybe that club wasn't the best idea after all... "I was going to look around the library, maybe I'll find something to help me." Maaaaaybe there was a Muggle Studies section. Helena surely needed that.

"Do you want to look together?" Team work was better.

Well, it seems Helena hasn't started working on her report. Hmm, she didn't seem to be very interested in muggle studies. Anyway, Viola didn't know much about muggles either. Although, she was interested in muggle studies, she was going to find it really hard to work on her report. Oral report.

"Yeah, we can definitely go together since both of us know almost nothing about muggles." Viola said, grinning.

Viola's last words made Helena feel better. SOOO much better.

At least she wasn't the only one not knowing much about muggles. And the studying-together thing... That will surely help. "We should start as soon as possible," Helena said happily. But... there are books about muggles at the library. Or... not?

The relief on Helena's face showed plainly. Viola smiled. She really was glad that she could work on the report with a friend.

"Yes. We should. The earlier we start, the better since it might take some time to search the library for books on muggle studies." Viola said, placing the mug on the table. She got up and waited for Helena to join her.

Kita started laughing when she saw the look on Caroline's face. She was pretty sure it was the same look she wore on her face when she tasted the cake for the first time. "I know right?" she said, taking another bite of the cake. She couldn't help smiling about the fact that her common room was right near the kitchens. Maybe the house elves can make some more of this cake? Looking at Caroline, she noticed that her plate was finished. Her jaw dropped open. "Wow Caroline!" she said, "That was fast!" And to think she still had more than half of her piece left to finish.

Kita looked up and down the table. Apart from the two guys and another girl and guy sitting further along the table, there didn't seem to be anyone else there. A smirk spread across her face as she heaved the huge plate with the cake towards her and Caroline. "Now we have the rest of it to ourselves," she said, giving the girl a sly wink.

It was weird to think that the two of them met a week or so ago at the match between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw. She certainly didn't expect making friends in her fifth year, especially with someone who was crazy in her own little way. And now she was sitting here having cake with this girl. Funny.

And that's when a thought crossed her mind. Her signature smirk spread across her face as she turned back to Caroline. "So... Miss Caroline... tell me," she licked her spoon then looked at Caroline, smirking at her, "You and Carter eh?"

Caroline rubbed her belly. She grinned at her Hufflepuff friend. The cake was so yummy. The important word being was. She pretty much inhaled her slice. She laughed. "What? I was hungry, and the cake was so good." She watched as Kita contiuned to eat her cake.

Caroline noticed that the table was starting to get empty. About that time Kita smirked at her and said now the whole cake was theirs. She laughed. Haha Sure they would be able to eat that whole cake together. "That's ok I am stuffed, I couldn't eat another bite." She said now patting her tummy.

Caroline could have guessed that the topic of Carter would come up in their talking. She did tell her that she likes him. They are friends so friends pick on each other about who they like, so she would just have to get used to it. She was sure her face had gone pink when she asked about Her and Carter. She grinned. "Yeah" She didn't know what else to say at the moment.

Kita closed her eyes and shook her head slowly. "You, Caroline, are incredible," she said, "I would never be able to eat as quickly as you just did." Now that was for sure! She always ate slowly, even when she was hungry. Maybe she was the weird one...?

Kita smiled. No wonder people called her sneaky. But then again, there was no way she was going to let this lovely cake go to waste. "Are you absolutely sure about that?" she asked. Shrugging, she rubbed her hands greedily and smiled at the cake. "More for me!" she added. And boy was she hungry.

Kita looked at Caroline to see her... was she blushing? Aw! How cute! She would have said that the girl now looked like she had a tomato perched on top of her neck but, she hadn't exactly gone red. Yet. "So, tell me," she said, "Are you two going out?" Talk about being blunt! But then again. she was excited after being responsible for the two of them meeting in a way. The smile spread across her face.

Belle heard her question and consoled her, "Don't worry Nika, it isn't a stupid question and i am afraid wizards don't use emails." she said. "They only use owl posts to only mail letters, but wait a minute they use their wands as telephones but i am not sure how it works exactly but my aunt has done it." she said. Belle took another bite of her roast beef with gravy which was really good.
"I am adjusting pretty well too, i am the first girl of my two brothers to go in my family, i mean my mom used to go here but she was a gryffindor so it is a different experience." she shrugged. "I am proud to be a hufflepuff though, my dad is a muggle born so family reunions are kind of akward for me."
