Jaina sat down at the table for lunch and awaited Annabelle to arrive. This had already been a day for her...tripping into a boy in Ancient Runes, finding he was in her Charms class, too, along with giving the whole class jelly beans...she was still trying to figure out how he knew her favorite, but it was probably just a coincidence....then she didn't say hi to the potions teacher and apparently for someone who doesn't like chatter it's considered rude, then she also didn't know any spells for cleaning or retrieving water...this was all too much!!! UGH! A roast beef and swiss cheese sandwich with mustard on rye bread popped up ontot a plate before her with some Doritos and a little green onion dip and somes carrots. A cup of apple cider appeared, too. Thank goodness the house elves knew she needed some comfort food! It's just what Joshua would have made her! she thought as she picked up half of the sandwich and took a bite.

Annabelle found Jania in the great hall. She was exhausted and already had some homework on her plate. She did manage to get the charm spell right to turn the object into a ball. She was starting to like this school, but she could really use some food. "Hi Jania!" she said as she took some roast beef and mashed potates onto her plate.

"Hey, Belle. I'm having the WORST first day ever!" Jaina said with a frown. "I went to Ancient Ruins this morning and I decided to walk and read my book. That was a BIG mistake! I walked right into this boy sitting in a chair. He stared at me. THE WHOLE TIME! Oh my gosh it was like freaky. THEN, he points to the chair and desk in front of him. I picked my stuff up and sat in front of him! I was terrified that he was gonna hex me! Then I go to Charms class and he placed 2 jelly beans on all the desks and my desk has my favorite, which I think is dumb luck, but still! I went over and thanked him and gave him a lemon drop. He spoke to me like a normal person. Like he wasn't mad at me at all! I didn't get his house OR year, but he looked older than me. And potions didn't go well at all either...I flooded my cauldron!" she took a breath. "I'm worried, Belle. About everything. And the boy didn't even hex me! He was really strange. I don't understand. He looked mad, but then he was nice to me. What should I do??" Jaina clearly looked and felt worried. She was hoping her new friend would be able to help out.

Belle heard her story. She did look distressed. "Alright Jania calm down." she gave her a hug for her bad day. "Take some deep breaths, it will be alright, everyone has a bad day. But it seems that he is interested in you! just plain simple." she said with a smile :]. "He wants to get to know you a little bit more and give you hints he wants to talk with you." she said. She had experience with this because a boy in her preschool acted the same he did and found out he liked her. But that is besides the point, "So during your next class sit next to him and start up conversations!"

"Do you really think so? He looked so mad in Ancient Runes. I was afraid to talk to him," Jaina stated. She was glad that Annabelle and her had become friends. It could be just that, but she wasn't sure. Of, course this was her first time, too. "I thought offering a lemondrop would get him to talk, but he was very short in his answer. He also ran out of Charms before I could say anything." Jaina was truly perplexed by this. That's why she liked Joshua: he was simple and easy to read.

Belle smiled at her. "I know so!" she had the same experience last year. "One boy kept teasing me and was insulting me. But he came around and one of his friends says, he is only making you mad and ignoring you sometimes because he likes you." she said. "I know it is not really a similar situation but let's see what you get when you talk to him!" she grinned and had some sheperd's pie. "I know i am onto my fourth pie but i am a really big eater." she said and took a huge bite and laughed hoping Jania would laugh as well.

Jaina laughed at the fact that she was eating her fourth pie. "You're a bottomless pit!" she giggled. "Maybe I won't even see him again. He was sure acting weird!" Jaina dipped her Dorito in some dip and took a bite. "I think I might go for a walk later on. Just to clear my head, you know." She was hoping that maybe it would help if she saw something other than stone walls and homework. "Maybe Oona will join me if she's back!" She missed Oona.

"I know i am a bottomless pit! My parents and friends say it all the time, i wonder why i am this tiny XD, Ooooh who is Oona?" Belle asked with intrest. "Can i join you for your walk too?" she needed fresh air. She couldn't try out for quidditch yet because she was only a first year. So she didn't really have any distractions yet.

"Oona is my elf owl. She's been flying around like crazy since I've brought her here. I sent her back home to Ireland to deliver a letter to my mum and dad. I also gave her one for my best mate, Joshua. He's in muggle school now. He made me promise to owl him! He thinks this is all too cool!" Jaina was proud of Oona and her friend, Joshua. Not so much on the parents though. "Hey, you wanna go walking through the courtyard to the grounds?" Jaina asked enthusiastically!

He'd been in need of something to drink, and this was the place he'd decided to come after talking to Ellie by the stairs...or in the stairs, or the moving things, whatever.

But now he was feeling a bit hungry, truth be told, which is why he seated at his table and after filling up a glass of water, just stood there, trying to figure out what to eat...a sandwich was probably a good idea.

Oh! A sandwich! His mind totally went to Conan as he wondered how the boy was dealing with magic.

Simon had decided that he would come and get something to eat, he was for some reason hungry, he was about to sit on his own when he suddenly saw Treyen, he knew that now would be the perfect time to tell him what he was going to tell him at the feast.

Simon went upto him and sat next to him, he filled up a glass of water and sipped it before putting it down on the table. He then finally turn to Treyen. "Treyen we are friends right and nothing will change that?" Simon wanted to make sure they were before saying what he really wanted to say.

Yes, a sandwich!

A turkey one...he wasn't feeling the chicken today. Hopefully Conan had managed to get something for himself, though.

The boy was about to take the sandwich when he felt someone right beside him, his eyes were turned towards the much familiar boy, "Simon, how are you?" it's been a while, for sure, like a couple days? No, just one day since he hadn't seen the boy, but it felt a whole lot more, considering the events of today.

But then Simon spoke, and Treyen couldn't help but sigh. After all the things he's been through today he certainly hoped this boy didn't have any more bad news. "We are, and I don't think so, no, why?" he asked, holding a small smile on his face.

Simon looked at Treyen. "I am glad." He smiled. "Well it's just I've been thinking about something." Simon smiled. "We've been friends since I first came to Hogwarts and I've.." Simon took his drink and sipped it before deciding he better eat something, so he took a sausage and ate that before continuing.

"Treyen, I'm a Prince of this country called Hollian." Simon said at about 100 miles an hour, he just hoped that Treyen could understand because he didn't want to have to say it again. "I know I should have told you before but I thought you would hate me if I told you." Simon hoped thay Treyen didn't hate him.

So, if Simon was smiling that meant that the news weren't bad ones, right? Awesome! Because Treyen doubted he could take more bad ones.

He needed...er, not happy news, but neutral ones for sure.

Simon was doing it again! Delaying things! But then the boy spoke again, and it seemed that what he said was indeed what he'd been meaning to tell him since the start of the school year. Which was...two days ago? Haha.

He was a Prince? "So, your name isn't Simon De Simpson? Is Simon Prince?" because he said he was A Prince from Hollian, just like Snape had been the Half-blood Prince, right? Like Treyen was A Lockhart from Appleby, no? "Why would I hate you for it? I have nothing against any Prince," now, against a Morgan...that's another story.

Simon looked at Treyen, and was wondering what he ment. "No My name is Simon Leonarder De Simpson." Simon said. "Well infact it's Prince Simon Leonarder De Simpson The Third." Simon hoped that Treyen got it. "I am from Hollian." Simon smiled.

Simon thought long and hard. "I hope you don't mind that I didn't tell you before, I was afraid if you knew you wouldn't want to be friends with me anymore."

Then why was he a Prince from Hollian? Didn't they get to keep their usual names or something? Treyen was...confused...and slightly lost.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!

Oh, man, he was so stupid as to think so! Or maybe he was just hungry.

"Wait, wait, a Prince, you mean? Like royalty-kind-of-Prince?" he said, not really waiting for a response, he was more like clarifying it in his head. "That's...brilliant! I think," he knew little of royalty, that's why he had no idea whether it was a good thing or a bad one, but it wasn't something he'd hate someone for.

Now...if Jake had told him he was a Prince, Treyen would've been laughing for an entire year.

"Really? No, come on, we're friends, I don't care about that kind of things," he shrugged. He didn't mind. Simple as that.

The savory smell of bacon and eggs greeted his nose as he entered the Great Hall. But of course, what with all the different dishes well-set and served on each different house's table, one could really hardly tell which stench--for lack of any better word--stood out the most. Somehow, though, the Great Hall was like a love potion. Makes a person smell what he/she desires. FOOD... for that matter.

Cedric walked toward his own house table, and flopped down on the seat as soon as he reached it. Ah, what to eat this fine sunny morning?

Arabella-Marie skipped into the great hall the smell of food was calling her she saw an older hufflepuff boy sitting alone and said "Mind if i join you?"

"Why would I mind?" Cedric said casually, a little bluntness apparent in his voice. And then he turned to see who just spoke to him. It was a girl. Red spots flared on his cheeks for no clear reason. But it probably just because it was a girl and all. "I won't mind. Sure" was all he could come up with.

Arabella-Marie smiled and said "Thanks, I am Arabella and you are" Arabella-Marie definetly could tell that this boy was probably in his seventh year

It would take a moment or two to presume that the girl was in younger years. She looked... or seemed matured for her age. Not giggling as most young girls were. "I'm Cedric Leone." He smiled ever so slightly and went back to his interrupted business: eating.

Arabella-Marie smiled at Cedric and said "Nice to meet you Cedric, so what year are you in?"

Simon looked at Treyen. "Yeah the royalty kind." Simon laughed at Treyen reaction, he was taking it better than he had thought that he would, he had thought that he would have been laughing and saying pull the other one, he was glad he didn't have to get the pictures out. "It is and it isn't." Simon said truthfully. "Meeting important people is the best part, the worst part when they tell you, you have to be smart all the time." Simon wondered if Treyen would want to visit one day. "Well maybe one day next summer you can stay at the castle." Simon hoped that he would. "Anyway are there any questions you'd like to ask me?"

"Sure! I would love to walk through the courtyard with you!" Belle said excitedly. She loved exploring the castle. She took a swig of pumpkin juice and was off with Jania. She loved this girl because she had the same intrests she did.
