Emmaleigh nodded and pointed to the table that she had been sitting at. "Yeah, I just need to get my stuff cleaned up, and grab a couple of things from the dorm room." That, and she had to brush up on the whole conjuring wood thing. It had been like a year since she had preformed the spell. Walking across the room, she began to place her things back in her bag. "So, I got permission to practice aguamenti, and incendio."

Jaina giggled. "Yeah, I think that would be the ones I need to know to keep me out of trouble!"

"Thats what I was thinking. We don't want a flood on our hands, or an out of control fire, especially with Lafay." Continuing to place the things back in her bag, she looked up at the girl and smiled. "If you want to head on up to the pratice room, I'll be right behind you. I just need to run to my dorm room for a moment."

"Sure thing! I'll meet you there." Jaina said tucking her box into her blue messenger bag.

Ava Jade giggled, then responded, "Yes, if you count a month of calling a silly second-year Ravenclaw your 'boyfriend' and going to Puddifoot's together and thinking you were the cutest couple in the world, only to break it off because he won't let you beat him in Wizard's Chess." She laughed at the stupidity of the whole "relationship" that she'd had a couple years ago. "Probably the most nonsensical thing I've ever done," Ava Jade said. "But other than that, I haven't had a boyfriend -- which means I've never really had a real boyfriend." And she didn't really want one. She had WAY to many other -- more important -- things on her mind to start spending time with a boy. Plus, it was more fun to sit around and giggle with other girls about cute boys than to start dating a guy and pretend she was a sixth- and seventh-year already. There's be time for that kind of silliness later.

"What about you, Miss Kita?" she said, imitating her friend's teasing tone from before. "Have youuu ever had a boyfriend?"

Kita was on the verge of laughing her head off. The only thing stopping her was the fact that she wanted to hear the whole story. "Oh. My. Days!" she said before bursting into laughter. This was just way too funny. She sat up straight again and put on a serious face. "So, you broke up with him over a game of Wizard's Chess?" she asked, trying not to laugh, "Do you still do that now or..." She let her voice trail off and bit her lip. It was still hard to stop herself from laughing again. "Ah! By the way, when did you date him?" she asked, hoping she wasn't prying too much. Although, it was Ava Jade who had brought up this subject so it would be her fault if Kita was prying. Or something along those lines.

Kita raised an eyebrow at Ava Jade's quite accurate impression of her and laughed. "No, i haven't had a boyfriend," she said quite quickly to get the answer out of her, "Although there are some crush-" She smacked a hand over her mouth as her eyes grew wide with horror. She can't believe she had just said that. And to think she had promised herself that she wouldn't embarrass herself again today. Maybe Ava Jade hadn't heard...

"Yes, I certainly did break up with him over that. What kind of a boyfriend beats his girlfriend every single time??" She burst out laughing at the ridiculousness of it all. "I was a first year at the time, he was a second year. That didn't stop me from breaking up with him, though." She giggled. Who knows why they actually "dated" in the first place; she didn't even talk to him anymore. "It was all so stupid, but I guess we were pretty cute for a while. My parents knew his parents, so we kinda just hung out a lot. I don't even remember why we decided it should be a boyfriend/girlfriend thing."

"Ooo, crushes?" She wagged her eyebrows foolishly. Though Kita looked a bit embarrassed, Ava Jade grinned at her and said, "DOOO tell! We've all been there. Trust me."

Emmaleigh can through the common room door carrying a bowl full of yummy chicken alfredo. Obviously, she had just made another one of her kitchen runs. Seeing Michael, she went to sit beside him. "Hey." she said as she placed the food on the table and sat her bag on the floor. She pulled out one of the may bottles of butterbeer she had stashed in there, and twisting the cap of, took a sip.

Bubba seeing the bowl of chick starts sqwaking and trying to get away from Mikey " hide that quick or I wont be able to get this last bit of medicin down him they got him on a special; diet "

She scowled at the bird as it started squawking, and then at the boy as he told her to hide her food. Throwing her bag across her shoulder, she grabbed the food, and her butterbeer, and walked to one of the tables at the side of the room. sitting it all down, she took a bite of the food. "Whats he need medicine for?" she asked before taking another bite.

"We are not real shure,He stoped eatting just after we got back to school and then started to pull at his fethers, that is why I have been keeping him in my room ,,I think he is missing his lil sister, if the proffesor say he is ok to see her I will let him visit later this week if it is ok with you putting the last of the food down the owl's throat with the dropper then when he didnt thinl Em was watching giving him a tiny piece of Jerky " your a good boy and dont worrie your bald spot is almost gone he wispered to the bird "Em ,,, um... can I ask you somthing ..."

"Did you see Saylen about him? maybe she could help." the girl suggested, as she took another swig of her drink. "And, I don't see why he can't visit Yvaine." She took another bite of food, and in the corner of her eye, saw michael acting suspicious. "Sure." she said plainly.

Nunually entered the common room tired and frustrated. It had been days since she had been in and out from the library learning spells, charms, and even some hexes that would not get her into trouble. Nulu saw the empty couch and went to sit down. "Boys are strange. First josh and then I meet this Matt boy who thinks it’s all right to touch me without my permission and then my sister comes for a visit and threatens my life." She took off her shoes and then neatly decided to put them by the couch. Then slowly she pulled her knees close to her chest and hugged herself. “I still need to get my coat back from Josh, and give Matt his coat.” She told herself and took in a deep breath leaving the air in her cheeks and making them puffy. “I need to do something.” She mumbled.

Simon walked into the common room, he had decided that he would spend some time in the common room instead of outside, he decided that it was the perfect time to try and read of on some of the stuff that he didn't understand.

Kita started laughing. "Yeah! He's meant to be a gentleman and let his girlfriend win," she said, "I still can't believe it though. You are a force not to be reckoned with!" Yeah... she didn't know why she said that. "Ooh! Get you!" she said, waggling her eyebrows, "Dating in your first year at Hogwarts." And there was the signature wink. She didn't know why she did that either. Maybe someone spiked her juice. Ah well! "Aw! That's way too cute!" she said, putting a hand ovr her heart, "One sec... so it was friendship turned into... luurve?" She waggled her eyebrows at Ava Jade.

Kita crossed her arms, determined not to give anything away. That was before Ava Jade started waggling her eyebrows like a mad woman. She found herself laughing again. "Fine!" she said, uncrossing her arms and blushing. "It's nothing big. I just liked these two guys. At different times of course," she said, "And, well, i started liking them. I even called one of them smooth!" Her face scrunched up in horror as she remembered that day. But then again, she was complimenting his ability to get an answer out of her without her actually knowing. "I met one of them in the stands and the other one at the costume ball. They don't know and they don't need to know," she said, waving a hand in front of her face to stop herself from resembling a tomato.

Mafalds smiled to herself as she walked into the Common room. Hufflepuff won! Jake was very good. She would have to meet him.

"Exactly! I'm glad you understand," Ava Jade joked in return. "Oh yes, friendship to love...how cliché. But we were adorable, mark my words!" She giggled ferociously at that, without really even knowing why. Giggling just went with the territory of their conversation, I guess.

"Awwww," Ava Jade teased, but there was something of truth what Kita described. She could think of a few times when even she had felt that way, and Ava Jade wasn't one for keeping things quiet... "Well I think it's cute, and you should talk to one of them sometime," she said, pulling herself out of her reverie. "And I can't say that I haven't felt that feeling before," she assured her. "Except eventually I usually just tell the guy I like him, and we go from there. Typically includes me scaring him with my forwardness and him squeamishly escaping from my brutal demands, like letting me win Wizard's Chess." She let loose another burst of giggles.

Isobel walked into the common room slightly unsteadily. Her face was pale, and she had trouble focusing on any one thing. She was glad they had just won the match, but she wasn't focusing on that at the moment. She was focusing on how glad she was to be walking on solid ground. She had a terrible fear of heights.

Kita bit her lip, trying not to laugh. "Yes, i do understand," she said, her voice cracking a little under the strain of trying not to laugh, "Friendship turning to love is quite cliche. But it's still cute! Ooh! Adorable eh?" And the waggling eyebrows was back.

Kita's nostrils flared slightly. Ava Jade was quite good at her teasing. This was going to be harder than she had thought. One sec... did she just say Kita should have told them? "That's good advice but there's a slight problem with it," she said, "I have only known them for a day. Imagine if someone you've known for a day comes up to you and tells you that they like you." She was weird but she certainly wasn't creepy. "Ooh!" she said, waggling her eyebrows again. This girl certainly knew her stuff when it came to guys. Kita started laughing again. She seemed to be doing that a lot more often than she would have thought possible. "Oh my days," she said, "So you told the guy you liked him and you two ended up dating? Wow! I thought it was the guy who came to you but now i know that it's the other way around! You really know your stuff then."

Ava Jade giggled again as she listened to Kita. "Well, you could always try to tell them...but yeah, you're probably right. Only knowing them for a day is rushing just a biiit..." She laughed again. "Just give it some time. Talk to them a lot, show them a little extra attention..." She winked, then giggled at her foolishness. "Maybe if they're smart enough, they'll get the hint eventually!" (Another laugh.)

"No, actually that's happened with a few guys, but we never really started dating," Ava Jade explained. "Maybe it's because I scared them." She pretended to ponder on that for a moment, then said, "The actual quote 'relationship' I had started out because the boy could actually out-talk me when he wanted to, so I was pretty impressed. He was quite possibly the first boy who wasn't intimidated by me, I guess." She giggled again.

Nulu heard the door open and she looked up. People where coming in and and talking. Some of them look like they wanted privacy and others seem to just want to sit down. Nulu saw a girl who was pale and she looked like she wasn't feeling wel she stood up and went to her. "Excuse me are you alright?" she asked her

*Finally walking into the common room Matty sat down next to the fire. He had been walking back and forth between the quidditch pitch. Part of him want to watch the match the other half was still sore that he wasn't allowed to even try out for the team. His uncle had said that he could next term but that just made him feel all the more horrible.
Putting his hands up to the fire he shivered a little. It had gotten really cold out, even cold enough to bother him.*

Nulu saw someone else entering the common room and she looked over to see Matty. She smiled and not ignoring the girl pulled her wand from her knee socks and waved it. "Accio box." Pointing to the girls dormitore she waited slowly for the present she had bought Matty to arrive. "Excuse me for a bit please." she said and bowed and the box arrived. She carefully put her wand back in her knee socks and lifted her hands and the box slowly landed on her hands.

She slowly walked over to Matty who suddenly shivered and she decided to put the box on the table and carefully taking off her cloak she slipped it on him. "Ello stranger, do you mind if I join you?" she asked him.
