Flying? Yes she loved flying. "Oh I love to fly. Do it ever chance I get." Kay said smiling. "You did? Thats great! I play on the team." She said happily. "I have played Beater for three years." She said hoping that Ava got on the team. "try out will be great. You will be great too." SHe said. What do you want to play?" SHe asked.

"Yeah, I play Quidditch all the time with family and friends. I love it!" Ava Jade enthused. "I hope to be a chaser. It's what I'm best at, although I've played all positions pretty well. Chaser is my favorite though, and I always do really well when I play that position. Do you want to get the Beater position again, or are you going for something else this term?"

"No, Beater is my thing. At first I wanted to be a Seeker like my cousin, But Beater kind of grow on me." Kay said hoping to get it again. "I play alot too. Going to go to the pitch and practice soon. would you like to go?" She asked.

"Yeah, that'd be awesome!" Ava Jade replied. "I definitely need to get some practice in before try-outs. I haven't played much lately, and I don't wanna go in without practicing beforehand..."

"What would be great!" Kay said smiling. "So tomorrow after class sound good to you?" She asked hoping to get on her broom again. "So what kind of broom do you have?"

"Sure, sounds good," Ava Jade replied. "I have an Oakshaft 2010. I just got it for this term! That's another reason I really want to make the Quidditch team. What kind do you have?"

'A Oakshaft 2010 sounds cool." Kay said thinking if she had seen one fly before. "I have a Firebolt. I love my broom." She said glad to have someone to practice with.

"That's awesome!" Ava Jade said. "Some of my friends have Firebolts too." She paused for a second, then asked, "So do you have any siblings at Hogwarts?"

"Tell me about it" Sammy groaned. "not that I know of." she said *le shrug* . Oh how she wished she was though. HOW AWESOME! "nothing really, just getting used to Hogwarts again" she said absently. "what about you?" she asked, before noticing the same boy Emmy had. HE LOOKED SCARY! End Of Story. She was NOT talking until it was sure he was ... EVIL! *whimper*

*Getting tired of the comic book talk and feathers up in the boys dorms Matty came down to sit by the fire. He was ready for bed in his blue and yellow P.J.'s but wanted to write his uncle one more time before bed. Again pulling out the note book and his wand he started to write. But no answer... They must be at another party thing or something... With a long sigh he shut the note book and looked into the fire. His mind couldn't help but go back to thinking of his old and only best friend last term, Mia. He was still confused on his feelings for her. Friendship or...? Matty still had no idea and the more he thought on it the more confused he got.
He had met a very nice girl in Gryffindor tonight and they had a date planned for the up coming weekend but he wasn't sure he still wanted to go. With another sigh he looked deeply into the fire.*

Stepping into the Common Room after being out on the grounds and just making curfew by the skin of her teeth, Mia was about to head straight up to the dorms when a lone figure by the fire caught her eye.

With a small grin, she made a beeline for him and lent over the back of the sofa and let out a small wolf whistle. "Nice jammies you got there Matty." She was resting her elbows on the back of the couch and rocking back and forth with a stupid grin on her face when she rocked too far forward and pitched herself too far and landed face first into the cushions with the rest of her body still hanging over the back of the couch.

Shaking her head Kay answered Ava. "No, its just me. But I do have a lot of cousins here." She said with a smile. "How about you?" She asked.

Awww Chandler was blushing. He tend to blush a lot, then again Cassie liked to flirt a lot so it was understandable. She couldn't help herself and apparently he couldn't help blushing either. She chuckled when he laughed, glad that he was loosing up a bit. She understood why he was kind of on edge, he was in a new environment after all.
" I don't know you just are with the things you do and say sometimes." she chuckled at his furrowed brows." well it would have to be a hufflepuff and generally hufflepuffs are very nice so no need to be scared or anything."

Cassie nodded and smiled. He seemed to like that she brought him chocolate which was good because she had a lot more of it and she most certainly could not eat them all by herself. She flipped her hair over her shoulder and leaned her head back."you're welcome Chan. So what have you been up to?"

"Mia!" *The fact that he had been thinking bout her and there she was freaked him out just a little. But once he saw her fall over he laughed and helped her back up.*
"Oh you know me... I have to look good even when I'm dreaming. You okay?"

She giggled as Matty helped her upright and she quickly brushed the hair out of her face so that she could see and then walked around the couch and sat down beside him.

"I'm fine." She said with a dismissive wave of her hand. Mia looked him over and then raised an eyebrow at him. "You must have some pretty awesome dreams then, Matthias."

*He just shrugged and moved over a little for her to sit.*
"They are but you'll never know them."
*Matty said with a laugh. That was true, he would never tell her his dreams. That would be an odd conversation. Not that she was in all of them but he had some odd creepy dreams.*

"I never intended to pry." Okay, yes she was but seeing how he had cut her down before she could even ask, Mia kept her mouth shut.

She lent back against the back of the couch and sighed softly and thinking how far away Christmas was and would she be able to hang on for that long? Turning her head slightly, Mia gave Matty a small smile. "So have you seen that girl again? The one you met on the train."

Well if she couldn't ask about his dreams then she was going to ask about his day life.

*Matty turned giving her a raised eyebrow look that turned into a small smile.*
"How did you know about that?"
*She hadn't been there when he was talking to Lea so... That made him laugh a little. Was Mia spying on him?*

Mia laughed at the look on his face. "Your memory is worse than mine. You told me at the feast silly."

She probably would have hit him with a cushion if she had known what he was thinking right then. "You didn't answer my question though, Matty. Or is it a secret?"

Why is it all of a sudden her boy friends couldn't seem to talk to her about stuff anymore?

*Matty smirked hoping to trap her but she was to quick. He shrugged again with a big smile on his face as he looked into the fire.*
"It went really well... we are going out this weekend in Hogsmead."

"Ooooh sounds serious. Has Matty got himself a girlfriend?" Mia knew that comment was probably going to cause him to blush but there wasn't much she could do about that. He just made it too easy.

She twisted her body to face him fully and smiled. "I'm really happy for you. It's nice to see you getting out and about and meeting new people."

*He held back the blush and smiled then shrugged.*
"I don't know about girlfriend boyfriend stuff. It's just a date for now."
*Matty nodded glad to see that she was happy for him.*
"I told myself that this term I would be a new Matty. No more st-st-stuttering Matty, and to be more... out going I guess..."

She had almost got him to blush. Almost.

"Well it's about time." She said with a laugh. "I thought I was going to have to physically drag you around the castle and introduce you to people."

And she so would have done it too.

Mia tucked her feet underneath her and pushed her hair out of her face again. "I wonder what Hogwarts had in store for us this term? I hear that some really crazy things have happened here in the past few years."

*That made him laugh even more. He would have liked to see her try.*
"I would have never let you drag me around."

*He laughed then sighed leaning back into the couch.*
"Crazy? I'm here so you know crazy stuff will be going down. Just kidding, what crazy things are you talking about?"

"Oh? You wouldn't want to be dragged around by me?" Mia threw him a wink and then giggled. "I could have done it cave man style. You know, pulled you around by the hair."

Yeah and like she had the muscle to do that.

Mia snorted at that. Matty was the sanest person she knew, so there was no way he would ever do anything crazy. Now she on the other hand was a different matter.

"Well one year I heard the school flooded. And just a couple of years ago some crazed guy broke into the school and 'Imperioed' a bunch of students and there was this big fight in the halls." She paused for a moment trying to remember what else she had been told. "And one year some students turned into animals."

Actually Mia wouldn't mind that last one.
