Annabelle saw someone fall. "Oh my god are you okay?" she helped her up since she knew would do that in the future. "My name is Annabelle by the way." she said as she extended her hand

Kai mumbled a thanks to the person who had helped her up, and continued to peer about to see if anyone had seen it. "I'm fine. Just tripped over my cape. Guess I should either grow, or get it cut shorter, if I want to be a superhero... that doesn't fall over in front of people." At important times. She smiled softly at the other girl, and nodded, before reaching her own hand out and shaking Annabelle's. "I'm Kai," she began wistfully, "Are you a first year? You don't look very tall..." She could have just been a midget, though. Kai wasn't sure.

"I'm gonna call you Belle. It's easier, and cool. You don't mind, do you?" Kaia didn't mind, actually. Which was why she'd started with 'I'm going to call you Belle' and not 'do you mind?'.

"Oh yeah Belle is fine!" she smiled. "Yeahh..i am a first year to be honest, i thought i should help a fourth year you know." she shrugged and kind of blushed. "Its that obvious huh? well no one saw but me so i think you are safe." she said jokingly. "I am guessing you are a third or fourth year? What is it like to study magic?"

Kai grinned and nodded. GOOD. Belle it was, then. Although Annabelle was a pretty name, she still preferred Belle. So much, in fact. It was short, and sweet. "Well thank you, Belle. Really. Thanks. It's a lovely gesture of you." She smiled softly at the young girl, and draped an arm around her shoulders. "Fourth year, that's me. The awesomeness that is a fourth year." And just plain awesomeness, anyways.

Kaia chuckled softly, and shrugged a little. "I haven't studied it at Hogwarts yet. But I did at my old school. It's fun... exciting. New."

Belle was starting to like this girls attitude. "Ooooh where was your old school?" she asked in intrest. "See my old school was in the plain muggle world and i got to learn what the muggles learn."

Preston automatically found his way out from the boys dorm though he was still groggy from just waking up from his what seemed like a very short nap. He had his back pack on his shoulder as he headed to his favorite seat in the common room near the fire. Seeing his chair taken he gave a shrug of the shoulders and dropped his bag to the floor and plopped himself down right beside it.

MJ walked into the common room after a lovely walk around the grounds. Well, it had been lovely until her feet had begun to hurt. Why oh why had she chosen to walk around in heels? She knew the answer of course, because pain was the price for beauty. Eh. Sometimes beauty stunk.

Her blue eyes scanned the room for a seat. Anywhere would be-- oh now there's a spot. She moved closer, trying to figure out who was sitting next to the vacant seat. He was short, and - YES.

She smiled, and went to go sit next to her boy. "Hi, Preston," she greeted warmly, crossing her legs.

Preston gave a content sigh as he reached into his back pack and pulled out a spiral notebook and a black pen. He opened the notebook up to the first page of the notebook and wrote the words 'Dear Father' out in as clear as he could handwriting.

Not noticing anyone sit down near him, Preston continued on with the first paragraph of his letter, that he decided right then was going to be a short one so he could go back to his nap that he had awaken from.

Hearing the sound of his name, Preston jumped. "Wh-what!" He exclaimed, not knowing who said his name until he turned his head around and craned his neck to see that it was one of the few that Preston was really looking forward to seeing.

MJ.

"MJ!" Preston exclaimed with a trademark goofy grin.

She smiled again, this one a wide and charming smile. "Did I scare you Preston?I'm sorry." That was certainly true, for she hadn't meant to. She'd only wanted to check up on him, forsakes.
She hesitated for a moment, and then leaned forward and hugged him. She'd missed her boy. Okay, so maybe he wasn't HERS, but she felt ownership. Sue her. She released Preston from the hug and rummaged in her bag trying to find the surprise she'd been keeping for him. MJ had gone to Hogsmeade a while ago, and had brought something sweet back for Preston. He liked sweet things, right? Of course he did. All little boys liked sweets, at least she reckoned so. MJ's fingers wrapped around the gift and pulled it out. "Here," she said "I got you these." She smiled and handed him a box of Bertie Botts and Fudge Flies. And there was something-- ah. MJ plunged her hand into her bag again and retrieved a mini-tug of war rope. "This is for Ringo too. I thought he might like to play tug-of-war with you."

So this was the common room huh? Very bright wasn't it? Chandler didn't do bright yellow colours, those were mostly girly colours and he wasn't a girl. Why couldn't Hufflepuff be blue and Ravenclaw be yellow? Stupid colours. Nevertheless, the boy decided to plop down on one of the...yellow chairs. Yellow was SO not his colour, it clashed with his hair and stuff. Not that he was bothered about his hair, he looked like an idiot no matter what coloured seat he sat in.

Cassie was pooooped. She had gone for a morning jogged and spent at least three hours in the RoR dancing and had gone back to the common room showered and now just wanted to chill in the common room and rest up a bit. If all her days were going to be like this she probably wouldn't survive the first semester o school.

Anywayssss. A very familiar head caught her eyes and she snuck up behind the person and covered his eyes.
"If you guys correctly I'll give you a treat." She said keeping her hands firmly over Chandler's eyes.

Meh. Jake had had enough. He sat up again and grabbed his glasses from the floor, going up to his dormitory where he could relax.

This day had been too much...

Superheroes? Did he like them? "I guess I like them. But it isn't my main point of focus." Conan was unsure about what that had to do with magic. Because everyone knew that superheroes weren't real, AND they got their powers from gamma rays and toxic spills. Not real though. Like magic. Magic was not real.

Conan's eyes widened, and his tummy rumbled in response to Treyen's offer. He wanted a sandwich. He nodded to the older boy sitting next to him. He wanted a chicken and bacon sandwich with mayo. And he wanted it cut into the shape of Mickey Mouse, like his mummy made.

Kai smiled again at the younger girl, and gave her a little squish, before shrugging once. "It was in Ireland. But my parents moved me here when they found out I had a sister that used to go here... and a load of stuff." It was still all so confusing, the most part being how her father hadn't known.

"I went to muggle school... Before I started the school in Ireland.. and then since January this year, when my parents pulled me out of Ireland." It... well it hadn't been fun.

Chandler slouched down and joined his hands together for them to sit on his stomach. Yeah, he was tired it wasn't hiiiis fault, he just wanted to relax and not have to think about anything. Seemed like a good, relaxing idea. He was going to close his eyes and nap for a while but then someone had covered them.

HEEEEEEEEEELPP!

WHERE was Leo? He NEEDED Leo. NOW! Or the nearest squirt gun but he froze because there was nothing he could do, he was going to be kidnapped or something and there was NO ONE to help him. Well there was but no one would pay attention anyway, plus why would anyone save HIM. HIM! ...Why did that voice sound familar? "...Cassie?" He asked, blushing deeply. God this was embarrassing.

The common room! A burst of light and warmth hit Ava Jade as she stepped into the place that would likely be her favorite evening hangout for the next few months. It hadn't changed a bit; the aura of the room was still just as friendly and welcoming as it had been since Ava Jade's first year at Hogwarts, only now -- like the past few terms -- it felt like home. Looking around for someone to talk to, Ava Jade wondered over the the fireplace and stretched her hands out to warm them. It was good to be back.

Kay walked into her common room and found her favorite sofa in front of the fire. It had been a long day and she wanted to relax. Think of all the classes she had to take and OWLS!!! Owls oh god how would she get throw them. Sighing see leaned back and watched what was going on in the room..turning she saw Ava standing by the fire.

Right Cassie should have expected this flailing. It was Chand after all. It being expected didn't make it less funny in the least bit though. She laughed and removed her hand from him face then walked around the chair to join him where he was sitting.

"You are so silly sometimes Chandler." She said pulling her legs up under her. Sitting like that was much more comfortable than sitting with her legs down sometimes.
"Who did you think covered your eyes? You're in the common room." As usual she reached over and ruffled his hair. She just couldn't help herself. Chandler had very nice hair.
"Here you go.." She said pulling out some french chocolate from her pocket. She thought maybe he would like it.

Sigh. At least Cassie had taken her hands away from Chandler's eyes but his blush was still there. FAIL. But he did have to laugh a bit, it was...funny? He had no idea why it was but he laughed and gave her a small smile when she sat down. "Why am I zilly exactly?" He asked furrowing his eyebrows at her, he had no idea why he was. "Well...I'm not zure it could be anyone." Any Hufflepuff he knew or maybe some stranger who was trying to make fun of him.

Oh no, now she was ruffling his hair again, he did NOT like it, it wasn't like he was a dog or something but he let her do it anyway. ...Chocolate? She had CHOCOLATE? "You got me chocolate?" He asked in disbelief, though he had no idea why he was in disbelief for a start. He took it from her hands slowly and looked at it. It was FRENCH chocolate as well. "Wow, zis iz quite nice. Zank you Cassie."

Kay looked at Ava and wondered what she was thinking about. "Ava, come sit with me. How have you been?" Kay said hoping that she would come over. Kay was glad to be back and wonder if Ava was too.

Ava Jade heard her name, but when she turned she couldn't think of the name of the girl speaking to her. Her face was familiar, but what was her name?..... Oh, it was Kate! No, Kayla. Or was it Cam? Kara? Kay? ....Yes, Kay sounded right.

Smiling at the girl, Ava Jade walked over and casually asked, "It's Kay, right? I've been great! How have you been?"

Smile Kay nodded. "Yes its Kay. Been good." she said pointing to the sofa. "Have a sit. Are you ready for the new term?" She asked happily. "Im sooo glad to be back."

"Okay," Ava Jade said, dropping down next to Kay. "Yes, I'm SO excited! It's so good to be back at my second home!" She laughed, then asked, "So what classes are you most excited for?"

classes? "ummm..I think I will always like DADA the best." Kay said think about her first class. "I think we have runes first thing in the morning thou." She said wondering if Ava was in that class.

"Me too! I love Defense Against the Dark Arts! I'm so excited for that class." She paused, then added, "I love flying too. I signed up for Quidditch try-outs this term! I really hope I get on the team. Are you going to try out?"
