Emmaleigh cut her eyes to the older boy, and glared at him too. She resisted the urge to tell him to keep out of it figuring that might not go over so well. Plus, he was mostly upset about the same thing she was. Except he seemed like he was being a suck up, and she did not like that.

She looked back at Michael. His father? Had he forgotten that she had met his father. He was rather nervous around wizards, she knew he wouldn't have done something like this. "Your Father, and any of his Military friends, would not have picked a fight with someone in a position over them." The could get like court-marshaled or something for that. She knew, she read books. "You were VERY rude, and very stupid back there. and. Not only did you bring attention to us, but you Told him my Name!" Her face was now as red as her hair. That was really the most important thing. She hadn't wanted to be noticed, and he had pointed her out. She turned to head to her dorm when she heard his next words. She fixed him with a look that could bore through him before saying. "You do That, and what ever we have." and she gestured between the two of them "is OVER." Ok. so maybe she was over reacting, but she was highly upset.

"Yeah That true." She said wuth a smile. "Your very luck to have your uncle then." she added. "So what fiel...." she began but was cut off by her two best friends.... The two that were fighting at that moment... the two that if they broken up she didnt know who to comfort first
This was Not happening. This could not be happening. It wasnt even happening to her but it felt like it was. The two people she loved was hurting for very different reasons But she felt both their hurts

She stood frozen with her mouth open unable to decided what to do. She had to stop this. She had to help them... She looked towards mike with the most compassionate look she could muster before turning back towards em "Em... yo-you dont mean that.. she said in an audible whisper

If this guy was talking bout himself then he was wayyyyy off base. turning his head to look at the boy You remind me of a friend that skiped a grade i wonder if yall are related do you know some one named Saph?"
bowing his head " Em your are right I did not think.... It was a fight or flight situation and somthing in my gut said dont bow down to him, but you are right I had no right to tell him your or Britt's name I just thought if he was what he said he was he would be able to find out who we were and that if we wernt up front with him he would just want to dig around more... trying to clear his dry throat" and if you want me to just go away I will so that way I get him looking in your direction " looking up at her " but if we are cool I cant say I will never do it again but I will try"


catching Britts eye and with a slight nod of the head for brit to go to Em,, with his voice cracking "I need to go send bubba to tell dad I made it to school and I am ok befor curfew" with that he turns and heads toward the door

Sammy completely ignored the puffs that weren't exactly in a "great" mood. She was, and she wasn't letting them ruin it for her. She wanted to find Emmy, NOOOOOOW!!!! SHE NEEDED EMMY! She had soooooo much to tell her. She plopped down on the couch, she would wait for Emmy, she would turn up.

Eventually.

Emmy wandered thoughtfully into the puff common room.
She wanted desperately to find her bestie, Sammy Star, and she knew that if she stayed here long enough, she would eventually see her.
Emmy was so deep in thought, that she almost walked straight past Sammy. Turning, she cried, "Sammy! There you are - how are you? What've you been up to?" she pelted the girl with questions, whilst crushing her in a massive hug.

Aierikk came down from The Boy's Domintory to come and find an open seat
in The Common Room. He noticed it was already quite crowded inside
hoping to meet old faces, and simply care, or help some new ones.
Aierikk simply had a slight grin upon his face as he carelessly walked in,
and noticed some people reuniting, and just having the time of their lives.
Deep below, inside him, he felt pain; it stinged throughout his body.
He felt the pain of regret ..
Last year, he isolated himself from everybody else, and he did not know why..
Yeah, he did know.
He just didnt want to get hurt,
But he was hurting himself.
He was sure people were noticing him as he was looking back through
his memories.
He hoped they didn't, but he knew they were..
But one can only hope, right?

EMMY! Sammy squealed, rather loudly... oh well, as she hugged her biffle back. She considered Emmy's question ... to tell the truth, everything had been weird lately, but it was only the first night back, no harm could be done ... right? "I'm fantastic!" she said happily "I had a weird conversation with my sister earlier, like weirder than normal" she said with wide eyes. "apparently my eyes had been changing from the vivid green they are now, to a very ghastly pale blue" she said with a shudder. "but anyways, how are yoooouuuu?" she asked, happily yet again.

She looked to Jasper who was laying and purring on her lap. She gave hin a rub down his back "Thanks, his name is Jasper. I like yours too." she said looking to her kneazle. She put her legs to her chest then crossed them over on another. "Im a seventh year, I transfered in last year, so you probably just havent seen me around."

Willow wandered into the Hufflepuff common room and took a quick look around. It was kind of sad to watch everyone hugging and greeting each other after the long break. As Willow shook her head sadly back-and-forth and gave a quiet sigh, she ambled over to one of the only comfortable chairs by the fire and flopped into it. It was hard when your best friend was in a completely different house. Every year Willow had to get used to her separation anxiety. After spending summers at Janet's ranch, the return to school was always rough. After looking one last time around the huge room for a friendly face, Willow settled back into the chair, curled her legs up under herself and watched, mesmorized by the glowing flames, the welcoming fire.

As she heard Mikey Began to speak she directed her attention to him. He seemed so defeated, she just wanted to run over and give him a great big bear hug. Why did this all had to happen/ Especially since it was only the first day. *sigh* She listened to what he said to matty and she knew what he meant by the comment but she choose not to comment because they didnt need anymore drama.

She watched as he turn to leave. Should she stop him? she knew she would want someone to comfort her. But this was different. Boys were different. Maybe he needed to work this out on his on. She decided that was best so she let him go. But she would go looking for him if he didnt show in the next hour or so.

She immediately turned her attention back to Em after he left. "Em you cant be THAT mad?" she said more as a question then a statement.

"Yeah I love my uncle, a bit strong sometimes but..."
*Matty stopped seeing the red head turn as red as her hair. Woah... if anyone could spit fire it's this one... he thought.*

*Matty sat back letting the two talk it out then he saw a brawl a brewing. Oops... Matty had kind of just met this lot but he wanted to help. With a shrug he got up and pulled Michael to the corner.*
"Sorry mate... I didn't mean to... I don't know a Seph. I haven't any brothers or sisters. My uncle is sort of a military man so it's you do well nothing else. You know what a mean right."
*Matty was hoping that maybe getting Michael to talk about something else to cool down would help.*
"Was your dad in the muggle military?"

Conan heard his name. Yay someone who knew him. "Treyen," he beamed, a sense of relief in his voice. He moved up in his chair, to make some room for Treyen. There had to be room for both of them. Oh he had taken the seat next to him. That was ok.

"I don't like it here Treyen. The food just appeared. I don't like magic." Nope he did not. He shook his head. What if the cupcake was magic too. "Um I am ok thanks Treyen. I had...a...waffle this morning." That was all he had eaten today? Waffles? Wow he needed to eat more.

"Thanks, this is Perseus." She held the kitted close to her face, kissing him lightly on his temple before letting him rest in her lap. "No I don't think I've seen you." But really, there was a lot of people she didn't see last year. "Are you from around here?"

At Brittany's words, Em cut her gaze over to her. She fixed her with a hard look, and said in a low stern voice. "What if I Do."



She let the boy talk before going back at it. "There was no Fight of Flight! You weren't Involved!" She poked her finger at him. "You just got all upset over loosing house points. If you care so much about the points, why don't you try earning some." She said vehemently. "You just HAD to insult the man, and bring me into it. Hearing him suggest leaving, She hollered "I Don't care what you do!'
But as he headed to the door, she took her wand into her left hand, and pointed at the bookshelf. She shouted, "Accio Book!". Emmaleigh caught the book and threw the copy of Hogwarts a History at the boy's feet. "Read that and see what happens to those that get involved." she said bitterly, before turning her back on the boy.




Hearing the door to the common room open, and then close again, Emmaleigh turned to make sure that he had in fact left. Seeing that he was gone, she sat down on the recently vacated couch. The girl pulled her knees up to her chin, and upon hearing her friend's words, she began to cry. This wasn't how it was supposed to be. She wasn't supposed to get into a fight at the very beginning of the year, and certainly not with one of her best friends.
She looked up at the portraits hanging on the wall, and felt the tears running down her face.

Ronnie having totally missed the first few days of the term because she was stuck in a muggle hospital after having an 'episode' was ready to start the year off on a good foot. She was hoping she was not going to have an 'episode' during the school year and that this year was going to be a good year. She smiled hoping she was going to see Simon or Preston soon. She missed them a great deal. She blushed thinkin about them, they were both really cute.

opening his mouth to say somthing to Matty.Only to Gutted By Em he bends ovet to get the book,His hands trembling he tucks it under his arm looks to Brit unable to make eye contact "Sorry" is all he can seem to get past the knot in his throat.Head bowed and shoulders slumped he departs the room

She watched as Arya kissed her cat and then layed him back down on her lap. She petted her Kneazle as if it was second nature. "Last year was my first year. I transfered from an arts academy in New York." she said "Thats were Im origanaly from but I live in France with my parents now"

*Matty watches Michael go with a sad frown. He felt bad for the little guy but knew he needed to cool down and be alone. Walking over to the two young girls he see's the red headed one crying. Pulling out a handkerchief he hands it to her and gives her a warm smile.*
"Sorry..."

Annabelle walk into the common room, she saw all the older students sitting there, she decided to take an arm chair near the fire place, the one seat that was empty and shesat down and burried herself into reading hogwarts a history. She felt relaxed and at ease.

Well, at least his mood seemed to be improve by the sight of this Lockhart. Treyen couldn't help but smile back. And...he moved up? Well, the boy decided to take on his offer and seat next to him. There was plenty of room, what with both boys being not that tall and all.

The smile quickly faded into a frown, "You...don't like it here?" well, that was rather odd, everyone had always loved Hogwarts, or were amazed by it at first glance, it wasn't after you left the first year that you could love it, really. Then his eyes widened. He didn't like magic?! But, if he didn't...then how was he supposed to DO magic? Okay, this is the moment when a person that has a way with words was the one that needed to speak to Conan. He was not that person, really.

Only a waffle?! Oh, this kid was going to starve! And...almost instantly, Treyen thought about taking him to the Kitchen, but it wasn't a good idea if he saw the House-Elves and all the magic going around the food.

"Okay, Conan...I think it could be difficult for you because this is the only time you've been around magic," like the first time he was around planes? But then again, Treyen was fascinated by them still. "Do you think you could give it a week? Just a week, and if you still don't like it...well, I think we'll need to talk to the Headmaster," then he'll get in touch with his parents, no? "But you need to eat more this week," mmmhmm, totally, Treyen tried to keep his face as kind as possible, even if he was still concerned and holding that frown.

The little girl was a mess. The sleeve of her robe was all soggy from her tears, and her face was all puffy. She raised her head ever so slightly as she heard some one apologizing, and noticed that it was that older boy. She did not want to talk to him because he had made matters worse. The young puff shoved the handkerchief back at him, and got up and headed out the door of the common room. She didn't mind if Brittany followed her to where ever she was going, but anyone else who followed better beware.

Brittany watched as Em fell to pieces and she watched as the new comer was nice enough to try and comfort her after being shouted at various times. But Em didnt seem to think it was nice of him because she rudely gave it back to him. She flashed Matty and apologetic look before watching em storm off. *Sigh* this was not what she wanted to deal with tonight. They had bigger problems and now she had to do damage control because Poor Matty was probably really confused.

"Hey Im sorry about the way my friends are acting.' she said giving him a small smile even though she knew it probably wouldnt help. The poor kid probably wouldnt want to step in the same room as the trio anymore. "You Kinda caught us at a bad moment but i promise they arent always like this. The actually really sweet and two of the best friends you could have" even though she didnt know if they all were going to be best friends anymore. "And Im sorry to run out on our conversation like this but i have to go after her." she told him. Mainly to make sure she didnt go after Mikey and Murder Him. She flashed him another apologetic smile before tur ning to find out where em had gotten off to.

*Matty watched as the girl ran off and sighed. He felt bad for them all. Turning back to the other he shook his head.*
"No worries, here-"
*He handed her the handkerchief then opened the common room door for her.*
"I think she needs that more then I do. It has a calming potion on it so it should stop the Hufflepuff puffiness and tears."
*He gave her a warm smile and nod.*
"You are a good friend, it will all work out."
*He had no idea if it would but sometimes just saying things like that helped. Matty also walked out to look for Michael. The kid looked a little torn up.*

Emmy grinned at her bestie's boundless energy, "Ok, that sounds weird... You're not a Metamorphmagus are you?" she took a quick peek at the puff's peepers - nope, no different to their usual colour...
"I'm gooood thank you! So, apart from weird eye stuff, what have you been up to lately?"

Suddenly, Emmy was distracted by a very familiar sight - an older boy, walking past, looking thoroughly miserable.
She tapped him on the arm.
"Excuse me? Um, are you alright? You look as if you could do with a friend...?"

"An arts academy? That sounds cool." She said with a head nod. Not her thing, but still something cool. Arya shifted in her seat. "I'm from America as well, and still live there with my parents."
