Emmy smiled, "A tabby? My cat's a ginger tabby! He's called Marmalade... For some strange reason!"
She giggled, remembering how he would dash around the house for no apparent reason - and when he ran around upstairs, it sounded as though he'd suddenly sprouted a hundred extra legs!
"Why Perseus? Seems an unusual name for a pet..." she mused, still smiling.

"Marmalade is a good cat name. Nothing strange about it." She shook her head with a grin. Normal cat names were so overrated anyway. "I like Greek mythology. It was between a few other names I don't remember, but I picked that one best." Arya stretched a bit, stifling a yawn.

Emmy grinned, "Fair point! I like Greek Mythology... So how old is he? Um, random question; which is your favourite class?"
She enquired, simply because she couldn't think of anything else to say...

"He's four years. I got him the summer of my first year." This school was more his home than it was her own. Her favorite class? "Creatures. I love working with them."

Brittany walked throught the common room entry and plopped down in the fluffy chairs. it was good to be able to just relax. she tilted her head back and closed her eyes and just relaxed.

seeing Brit for the first time in what seemed like weeks Mikey plops down on her lap "Oh hey your Babs...no no ... Bev....no no ..Bobby Jo dont tell me " giving her a peck on the cheek " never mind we will just call you Darlin" adding the last word in his deepest southern accent

Brittany opened her eyes startled by the sudeen extra weight that was upon her. What was she part of the couch or something now? When her eyes focused on who it was she forgot to be mad for a second and broke out into a small grin. Her grin turned into a playful glare as he acted as if he forgotten her name. Pffft who could for get about her. Yea no one. "Well DARLIN thinks your to heavy." she said as she quickly pushed him off of her and onto the floor. She broke into a fit of giggles after seeing him fall. "Aww mikey i missed you." she said grinning

Emmaleigh took a bite out of an apple as she stepped through the common room door. Looking around, she was stunned by the site before her eyes. Her two best friends were actually there. She hadn't seen either one of them in ages. She couldn't remeber the last time she had seen Brit, but her last meeting with Michael had been right here in the common room. It was when they broke up. Sitting down in the chair opposite them, she propped her feet up. "Hey," she said looking at the two of them.

Laying on the floor at Britts feet patting his belly " Taught a house elf bout proper Biscuts and gravy,Be nice and I will tell her to hook you up too"

" and I have missed yall too. Thought Em could use a bit of breathing room and yall would come around when things were back to normal. looking up at her to gauge the look on her face.

well this day was turning out better than she thought. Not only was she seeing one of her best friends. The other one appeared right after the other. "Hi Em." she said a little to loudly than premitted. But she didnt care "I havent seen you guys in ages." she added

Brittany laughed. 'well in that case i might be nice." she said with a small wink. "and i havent seen em either. this is the first time i seen the both of you actually." she said 'why would she need some breathing room?" she said curiously?

Sitting up so his head was not leaning on Brit," Hey you" looking to see if she was wearing the charm he had sent by Bubba "Yall missed all the fun in Hogsmead the outher week" Getting up and motioning for them to come over to a quiet part of the room " I got gossip for yall "
Trying to change the subject quickly,Mikey tugs on her robes as he gets up and trys to move then to a different part of the room to fill them in on Hogsmead " come on Brit nice juicy gossip for ya " giving her a smile he goes and sit on the curved couch on the far wall

Brittany stared back and forth at the two for a moment until her gaze fell on Mikeys for a long minute again. She was decideing if she was going to push the issue now or later... either way she wasnt letting it go. She decided the gossip intrigued her more at the moment so she let the issue go...for now. "Okay ill bite, whatsup" she asked with and eyebrow raised

As soon as the the three of them had settled in and no one was around " I think we are being tested on muggle relations " putting his hand up so he could finish " a week or so ago Me ,and some outher student ran in to what we belive were Wizards pretending to be Muggles in Hogsmead,I only think it was a test because how can a muggle get his car all the way behind the three broomsticks " sitting back to let it sink in and let them ask the questions now

"Awww sweet! He's what, a teenager then? Still young, anyway! Creatures, huh? I guess my favourite would probably have to be either Runes or Muggle Studies..."
She sat in silence for a while - not uncomfortable, just... Silent.
"So what did you do before you started at Hogwarts?" that was usually an interesting conversation...

"Yup. He's a teen too." She grinned, eyes flicking to the girl's dormitory. When the sat in the silence she realized that she really needed to head up and get dressed. Her eyes returned to the girl distracted when she asked her another question. "Before Hogwarts? I went to a muggle elementary school back in America." And other things that she didn't have time to explain. Slowly she rose from her seat. "Um...I'm sorry, I need to go and get ready for this party. It was fun talking to you."

"Oh! That must be... Different!" privately she wondered what it was like, switching between countries all year...
Then Arya announced she had to go, and stood up.
"Okay! Golly, it is getting a bit late,isn't it... Well, I hope you enjoy your party! Lovely to meet you!" she smiled, and watched her new friend walk away.

She nodded her head. It was different, very much so. Arya returned the girl's smile and wiggled her fingers. "It was nice to meet you too! See ya latter!" And with that she turned and skipped off.

Ava Jade wandered back into the common room after spending some exhausting (but much-needed) time in the library. She let her books slide to the floor with a *thunk* and slid into an empty chair. Normally she would have looked around for a friend or two, but right now she didn't feel like looking. She sat, closing her eyes for a moment, and rubbed her temples with her thumbs. Now that she was sitting here alone, she kind of wished she did have someone to talk to after all...

Whistling. Yes, he was whistling. He'd been so preoccupied before, but after that talk with Melanie in the Corridor, then everything changed. He didn't need distractions anymore, but that didn't mean he didn't need his books no more.

No backpack, because that was hidden in his dormitory, and no book at all to be seen around him either. Yes, everything had changed and he was enjoying his distractions-free night.

Until...well, someone seemed to have been working all day, no? "Hey, there, Ava," he said, with a smile, and took a seat next to her, "Don't worry, the school year is almost over." Which translated to...no more homework very soon, if that's what had the fellow badger exhausted.

Simon couldn't believe how quickly his third year had gone, he decided he would read a book before making his way down to his next lesson which wasn't due to start for a while he looked around and saw Treyen but he seemed to be talking to someone and so he decided not to interupt them, he just got out his book and sat down on a chair and started to read it, if anyone wanted to speak too him they would just nudge him or something.

Ronnie came over to Simon. She had missed him so much and hadn't seen him in what felt like forever. She wasn't even sure if they were still dating. He had asked her out and hadn't had a chance to be together since then. She smiled at him. "Hey Simon!" Ronnie said smiling and sitting down in a chair next to him. "How have you been?" Ronnie asked. She wasn't sure how to bring up the subject. She wasn't sure she could even ask him, for fear he'd say they weren't together. That would break her heart.

Simon had just got to a good part when someone sat down in the chair next to him, he was going to tell them to be quiet when he suddenly realised who it was, he hadn't seen his girlfriend in like for ages, unfortunatly he had come down ill just after asking her out. "Hello Ronnie." He smiled, he hoped she wouldn't be cross. "I'm sorry I haven't been around lately, I became ill just after asking you out." Simon sighed. "We are still together aren't we?" Simon had no idea what he would do if she said no.

Ronnie smiled at him, "Of Course we are! I'm glad you're feeling better. I've missed you." Ronnie told him moving her chair a little closer to his. She couldn't be mad at him for getting ill, that happened. She was just so happy he was feeling better and he still wanted to be with her. She was nervous he would have changed his mind. "How are classes going?" Ronnie asked him making conversation now that they had time to be together. She hoped that she would be able to see him this summer to. They had talked about her going to the castle.

Simon looked at Ronnie and smiled, he was glad that she hadn't changed her mind about going out with him. "Lesson's there going great." Simon smiled as he thought about one of the last lesson's he had just been too. "Though I must admit sometimes they can get scary." Simon was on about Potion. "I don't know what happened to Professor Lafay but I think someone was really mean to her and maybe if someone gives her a hug she will be happier." Simon felt like asking a year 7 if they would do that, maybe if he could find one he would ask them. "I'm move excited about the Quidditch Final." Simon couldn't wait to find out who they would be playing.

Ronnie smiled at him. He was a great quidditch player and she loved to watch him play. She smiled. "You guys will do great." She said not realizing that they were in the finals. "when is the game?" she asked him not sure when they would actually be playing. "So, what are your plans for the summer?" Ronnie asked him, she was hoping he still wanted her to visit the castle and get away from her step dad. He still drove her nuts. All the time.
