Welcome to your home away from home! Your common room is your sanctuary. The wide, open room is designed around the fireplace, which sits in the very middle, and will more than likely be your favorite place on cold winter nights.

Flanking off and into the rest of the room, clusters of plush chairs are situated, some in groups of four, some in groups of two, there are also comfortable large couches that might swallow you up, if you're not careful. The decor is, of course, Hufflepuff house colors.

A large solid wood table is set up to the far side of the room, the perfect place to study, and should you find yourself in need of inspiration, portraits of memorable Hufflepuffs such as Nymphadora Tonks, Cedric Diggory, and the Fat Friar line the walls around you.

Opposite, you will find two tunnels, each going a different way, to the right the tunnel will lead you to the boy's dorms, and to the left, the girl's dorms.

"I...," didn't know what to say next, again, "...she's only a friend, you know, one of the closest ones that is not a Hufflepuff, that's all," and that list was NOT a very long one, because he started to think if there were others like her, and his mind was blank.

Certainly, Ellie was one of the prettiest, and he couldn't deny that. He won't be acknowledging it out loud, though.

Arya quickly came to the assumption that boys would so confusing. She liked them yes, but they were forever confusing. This was the second time she'd told one that she liked Sabel, and the second time she'd gotten a response she didn't see coming. Though they were forever confusing her, so this should be expected, right? "Its a very good thing," she said, still smiling. "We're...dating now."

Treyen was one of her closest friends, one of the trio, so he should know this. And she wanted him to here this from her and no one else, like Ivory had. Kellen could hear it from Sabel, he's closer to the weird Ravenclaw that she was.

Her eyes narrowed just the slightest as she watched him respond to her question in a rather.....odd manner. Which should be expected. He was a boy, but maybe it meant something more? She didn't know. "I know." She did now at least. The young girl wasn't one for keeping up with her friend's friends.

The boy smiled, "Then, congrats, I suppose," he said, nodding, "Sabel is a very good guy, he's approved by us," as if Arya needed Treyen's and Aaron's approval, "And by us I mean Aaron, too," he was certain his fellow former-badger would agree with Treyen on this one.

Mmmhmmm. Yes, Sabel was cool. Though, the boy preferred the Ravenclaw one that used to tag along. The one that was Head Boy now, yes, what was his name again?

Surely Treyen wasn't biased by the other boy's House at all. Ravenclaw. Like Ellie. Like Gilderoy.

The boy smiled, and simply stood up, book at hand, "Yeah, so, I'm going for a walk," he said, though, the walk couldn't last long, right? Because it was almost curfew time. Was he aware of that? "I guess I'll see you tomorrow?" he said, still holding a smile on his face.

Stretching her stiff and tired muscles, Ava Jade picked up her bag, then leaned forward and gave Kita a hug. "It was great talking to you! I'll see you later." And then she made her way up to her bed, which was calling her name incessantly...

She was glad that Treyen approved of Sabel. He was her friend too, one of her closest, and she would hate for him to not like Sabel. It wouldn't change her feelings for the Griffindor, and they would still be dating if he didn't like Sabel, but she didn't want him hating the older boy. "I'm glad the both of you approve."

When he stood up, she chanced a glance over to the chair she'd occupied before taking a snack break. "And I should get back to studying...and stuff." All those books weren't for class. Or books. She glanced back at him and smiled. "I'll see you tomorrow, Treyen."

Mmmmhmmm. Treyen nodded. Yes, he was positive that Aaron would approve. Actually, he didn't even know if Aaron would care for such a thing, given the fact that his mind was set on Quidditch...but still.

Back to study? The boy had already done all the homework he could do and so he thought unnecessary to study even more, especially since his mind was in no place to focus on something involving a lesson.

"Yes, tomorrow," he said, with a smile, as he started to walk towards the portrait, "Have a great evening, Arya." And with that, the boy left, book at hand, and a dreamy look on his face.

Kita laughed. "Yeah we do," she said, "We need a conversation we can talk about for hours on end." She smiled as Ava Jade picked up her stuff. She hugged her back. "Yeah, it was great talking to you as well," she said, "Night Ava Jade!"

Kita leant back and stretched. She knew she should go to sleep as well but she couldn't help sitting there. It was late but then again, it didn't seem too late. Yeah, she was confusing herself as well. She stood up, yawned and made her way, slowly, towards her dorm.

Ronnie having been really confused by what the heck happened in Diagon Alley with the old people decided it was best to just sit in the common room and read. She pulled out a muggle book, that her mom wanted her to read and started. Ronnie looked around the common room to see if there was any one she recognized.

walking out of the dorm room in to the common room he sees the girl from hogsmead that had fallen ,Lannie ,,,no not lanni ,Ronnie ye that was it

" Hey how is the nose, I turnd around and every had gone " looking now to see if she had indeed broken it " it dont look like you broke it,But I am sorry i could not do any thing more at the time" walking over and sitting in one of the over stuffed chairs that was close to her so the conversation wouldnt be over heard

I think I might be in trouble ,I am going to go the the head master,wondering if he would get kicked out for loosing a charmed item to a old muggle couple you know the phone I had it was not a muggle phone but a magical radio that just looked like a phone i could make it do a ring and then pretend to talk on it ,but I think somthing really fishy is up with them being in hogsmead"

Ronnie looked at what's his face...Max, Mike....!!! There it was Mike!! Now she remembered. "Why would you give them a radio!!! You could have just blown everything!" Ronnie said jumping to her feet. She was going with him, if he was going to the Headmaster! Afterall, she was part of it. "Okay, sorry about that, it just made me a little nervous. I didn't mean to blow up at you." Ronnie listened to him, "Ummm...what are you saying, that the teachers planted them there? That's dumb..why would they do that?" Ronnie asked him, he had given her something to think about. What were the teachers playing at?

"They seemed like muggles....I've never met any wizard who can act like that." Ronnie said trying to figure out what all of this really ment. It was crazy to think of both situations. "Either way, I'm going to the Headmaster with you." Ronnie said getting to her feet. Ready to follow him out.

Emmy sat alone in the Common Room, thinking about her time at Hogwarts. All in all, it hadn't exactly been...dull! Something out of the ordinary seemed to happen at least every other year.
Admittedly, many of these events were unhappy ones - but many more were the most wonderful times in her short life, and she knew she would treasure them as long as she lived.

It was still early when Arya snuck back into the common room with Sabel's gray sweatshirt on. Still early enough for her to be just a bit sleepy, but not so much that she would doze back off. The girl had to get ready for the party, but maybe she could take a rest in the common room?

Lazily ambling her way across the room to the couch by the fireplace and plopped down on it with a happy sigh. Today was gonna be awesome for sure.

After all, you couldn't go round talking to people and not find out their names; that would just be plain rude...

Brittany walked into the common room looking for anyone she knew. It had been a long time since she hung out with any of her friends due to school taking oer her life. But she really missed just hanging and talking so she decided to take a break from everything
