Nulu nodded. “It is, never was liked in the muggle world everyone had a friend since their childhood, so I never stood a chance at making friends.” She told her and sighed. “The only person who knows me well is mommy, and she well she raised me for 14 years who else is going to dedicate time to get to know me.” She told Isobel. When Isobel said sorry she looked at her and smiled. “Its fine, I accepted it. Mother told me that everyone’s stories come and go. Some are short others are long, but in the end we are all destine to change the world and disappear.” She told her and sighed. “Besides I can always attempt to locate my oth…” Nulu stopped talking. The idea of having to go back to her biological parents gave her chills. Just recently her biological mother had attempted to make her disappear. She shook her head and went back to the conversation.

Nulu giggled. “Nah I would eventually try out maybe next term…and see how things go.” She said and giggled. “The reason to why I am afraid of heights is when I was younger I always would climb up the highest place then one day in the rain lost my footing and I fell. Two broken legs, one broken arm, two broken ribs and a year of physical therapy.” She said while making a silly face. “Never attempted Quidditch, but in flying class the teacher I recalled 1st year worshipped it.” Nulu smiled. “Next quidditch game I shall go and cheer you on. Oh,” she clapped her hands. “I can do a mirror effect on the bottom of your broom so that you believe you aren’t that high. Mommy invented it, its simply mirrors to try the mind.” She said laughing. She knew that the offer would probably be denied, but it was always worth it. Making conversation was something she had to learn how to do.

Nulu looked at him. She blushed and sighed. Josh had done it because of her biological mother and for some reason everyone was terrified of her. "I have been debating that with myself for a while. I guess I needed someone else to say it.” She told him and felt her heart drop. She did not know why, but she wanted to give a chance to, she wanted to somehow find a logical explanation to why she wanted to love him, a reason. Maybe for someone else this would have not been as difficult, but Nulu had never been close to anyone as she had been to Josh before he had revealed to Nulu that he was just following orders from her biological sister and mother. Nulu held herself and a tear came out but she quickly put on a smile. “Thanks Senpai,” she told him and gave him a tight hug.

Sammy's eyes opened wide and she shook her head vigorously. "Nope. I grew up in the muggle world even though I'm Half and Half. And I've flown broom, but not very well so I decided to stay away from the sport. Unless cheering for the sport counts" she explained. When had tried to ride broom, she hd gotten two metres in the air ... then fell off, leaving her broom above her

"You make a good point," Isobel agreed. "The only people who know me that well other than my parents are my sister, and my aunt. My sister, because...she's my sister." Real sister, she meant, not like Jaymie. "And my aunt. Because, she raised me for two years, before my sister and I were adopted. She would've liked to keep us, she loves us...but my aunt is not the most..." How to phrase it? "...um...organized?" No, that wasn't right. "Well, she's a little, scatterbrained. She's a journalist, and she's not patient enough to stay in one place for more that two weeks at a time." She thought that Nulu was going to say something more, and when she didn't, Isobel was confused. She wouldn't ask now, maybe after she got to know her more.

Isobel grimaced. "That's horrible; it sounds really painful." Isobel had never broken a bone, and she hoped she never would. "The next game is Gryffindor versus Ravenclaw, it's soon I think. We should go together and cheer on whichever team we choose." Yep, that sounded fun. She listened curiously to what Nulu said. "Really? If it worked, that might be good for me. I should try it sometime." Hmmmm. "Last year, at Beaubaxtons, I missed the last game because I fainted out of the trauma of knowing I had to be high in the air." Was trauma the right word to use there? Isobel didn't know, but she didn't really care.

Nulu smiled at Isobel it was good to know people who understood you, and better yet who would talk with you. The muggles could be cruel; they disapproved of the people who were different. Anyone showing some kind of drastic change affected them, and they responded by classifying them and making sure that they felt uncomfortable for the rest of their life’s. In Hogwarts Nulu felt safe, she felt as if people here would take the time to get to know her. Her smile did not disappear. “Mommy is that way as well. She was so disorganized, but when it came to her project, inventions she was the smartest most organized, and even lost her clumsiness.” She told her with a grin as she remember her mother not knowing where she had left the remote, but the smallest part of her inventions she knew where it was. “If omma’s head was not attached to her body she would lose it.” She told her with a giggle. As she heard what Isobel said she laughed and then blushed turning a bright red. “Mommy is the same; she is having a hard time staying in the states in one place for so long. I was called last year to go and find her since she was going to attempt to go to Africa to do another project. She has three guards and she is not allowed to be alone in the bathroom because she has attempted to escape through the window,” her smile widened and she got energy. “Someone looking at omma would not say that she has cancer, but she is extremely energetic sometimes I wonder if she has ADD or something.” She told her.

She nodded. “It was, I sometimes wake up with pain on my ribs.” She lifted up her shirt and showed her where the ribs had been broken. She had a permanent bruise. “Sometimes I think that I broke them again,” she then noticed that boys where in the room and she blushed and quickly put her shirt back down. She had been wearing a tank top, but still Nulu had a lot to learn about proper manners. “Gryffindor?” she asked and her mind went back to Josh. She wasn’t sure if he was on the team or if he was going to be there. Her heart skiped a beat and she took in a deep breath. When she heard Isobel say that they should go and cheer on a team she bit her lip. “Josh will probably be there.” She whispered. She then quickly went back to her smile and nodded. “Sure wonder what team we want to root for?” she asked. "fainted?" she asked her

Nulu nodded. “Its just tricking the mind to believe that you are on the ground. Mommy invented it for movies, also they can use it to face up on the sky and it would appear as if you were flying.” She said and sounded extremely happy. “I can begin to experiment on one of the brooms, and then adjust magic and see if it works, although it will be difficult since muggle technology does not work on Hogwarts grounds. OH what mother would have done to get a challenge like this.” She told her and clapped her hands together out of happiness. “Hey we can even see if I can do it for everyone who is terrified of heights it would make flying class a lot easier.” She said with a giggle.

*A little taken a back he was shocked by the hug but patted her back softly.*
"Ah... sure. Wait... are you crying?"

Seeing an unfamiliar face looking slightly uncomfortable, Emmaleigh decided she should talk to her. After all, her conversation with Michael had seemed to die, and well it was a boring conversation anyways. Getting up and moving to the chair beside the girl, Emmaleigh smile at her. "Hey, I don't think we've met. I'm Emmaleigh."

Nulu let go of Matty and she shook her head. "I, I don't think so, why?" she quickly felt her face and there was a tear. she blinked and bit her lip. she did not know what to say or do. she was beings strange again and she did not know what to do. "Maybe the contact is dry..." she told him

Viola was feeling very uncomfortable. She'd always been rather shy and now she was here alone, wondering how to start a conversation with anyone. Some time passed and she still was sitting here doing nothing. She started feeling really weird and decided to go to the library and get some studying done.

Just as she was about to get up, she noticed that a girl was walking towards her. She sat down in a nearby chair and spoke. She seemed nice. Viola smiled at her and said, "Hi Emmaleigh. I'm Viola. How are you?"

Viola, got it, Em thought. "I'm good, great actually." she said with a smile, thinking about her recent "break up." It was actually a great relief. "I've just been busy with schoolwork, and all. So, how about you?" she asked.

Viola was glad that there was someone to talk to. "Good to know. Hmm..I'm alright. I'm just feeling a bit excited, that's all." she replied with a hint of a grin on her face. She was excited about the fact that she was in Hogwarts, getting to learn about magic, getting to meet new people. She was very lucky, she thought. She felt much better now, more relaxed.

Violet smiled brightly listening to Matty. She then laughed a little and then said,"You're so lucky to be tall! I can't wait to be taller, it's beyond frustrating being so short! Which is sort of why I'm usually wearing heels a majority of the time.." Violet laughed a little again and then smiled.

Isobel laughed at Nulu's story, then grimaced again when she told of the pain. "That sucks," she stated. "Who's Josh?" She asked curiously, catching what she had whispered. But just barely, she wasn't even sure if she had heard it right. She blushed, maybe she wasn't supposed to have heard it, she didn't want to barge in to Nulu's private life. "Sorry," she said quickly. "I-If you don't want to tell me, you don't have to." She blushed again, then took a deep breath and moved on, she considered. "My brother is in Ravenclaw, so I should probably cheer for them." If she didn't, she would hear about it all summer. "Yep," she said in answer to Nulu when she said fainted, because it sounded like a question. "I read this book, called 'Anne of Green Gables' and she used to think fainting would be a 'romantic' experience, though Anne could make anything seem 'romantic.' I used to think that too, that fainting would be a-for lack of a better work-romantic experience. But after I've actually done it, I know better. It's horrible; I never want to faint again. Have you ever fainted?"

"That sounds cool," Isobel said. "I think it's cool that your mom is an inventor. I would never be able to think of something like that. Well, no, I'd be able to think of plenty of things, but I would never be able to build them." When she was younger, and had gone to muggle school, science had never been her strong suit. "We-you-could suggest it to...the flying...person. What's his name again? I've only ever heard it once." And she was horrible at remembering names.

*Matty smiled and patted her shoulder. It was kinda cool how this young girl had become like a little sister to him. Pulling out a handkerchief he handed it to her.*
"You don't cry very much to you? It's okay to cry, for girls anyway."
*He laughed at that a little. Boys weren't meant to cry but girls could.*

Isobel smiled. "If cheering counted I would give you the gold medal." From what she had heard anyway. Sammy was very loud, with a lot of pride for hufflepuff. Which was awesome, Isobel would've cheered if she wasn't playing.

Kita laughed. "More than one boyfriend eh?" she said, "So that means that once you get another boyfriend, you can be considered to be someone with real experience." What an interesting idea... "Tell me when you get another boyfriend and i will come to you for advice," she said, winking. She nodded along, realising that what Ava Jade was saying, in all her tired hyperness, was actually true. In one way or another. "Now, you see, that makes sense," she said, "Te only problem is, we have to find a sixth- or seventh-year girl who's had that same experience." That shouldn't be hard right?

Kita tried to keep a straight face as she emerged from her 'coughing fit'. "You'll find someone who'll let you win Wizard's Chess!" she said, trying to look sympathetic, "He's probably waiting for you with his own useless chessboard and pieces." The last sentence was a bit too much for her. Especially since an image of a guy holding a chessboard floated into her mind. Cheesy smile and all. She started laughing.

Ava Jade laughed again. "Okay, I'll let you know if and when that every happens! And you do the same. Only you have to get two before I'll trust you with my relationship problems..." She giggled to make sure Kita knew she was teasing. When her friend said they should find an older experienced girl, Ava Jade replied, "Oh yes, that is a problem, since I can't say that I know too many like that..." She pursed her lips and thought for a minute. "Well, maybe we'll just have to rely on each other despite our lack of experience..."

"Aww, I'm sure he is!" Ava Jade managed to keep a straight face, but it only lasted a second: then she lost it, bursting out in giggles. "If there even is such a boy in existence -- not to mention at Hogwarts -- I'll be shocked!"

Finally sobering from her laughing spell, Ava Jade sighed, watching the fire flicker down as the clock ticked later and later. "Wow...how long have we just been sitting here chatting about boys?" She couldn't even recall when they'd started...the topic was rather addicting. (She wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not.)

Nulu was happy, for a long time she had been feeling like mud, but today she felt happy. For the first time since her last 10th birthday. When she heard Isobel repeat josh’s name she fell. “Where?” she asked and quickly stood up. Silly he is in Gryffindor not hufflepuff there is no way he is in here she is just asking a question Nulu was as bright as a red tomatoe. “He…um….fancy…but…” she bit her lip and looked down. She was not sure what to say. “Some one that I should stay away from, he only cuases pain, but…” she sighed. Complicated love could be she smiled at her. “it’s okay I shouldn’t have said it, maybe I will tell you everything later right now I am trying to forget him.” She managed to put a smile on. “Not doing so well trying huh?” she asked her and stood up.

While she heard Isobel talk about her brother she smiled. “Then it is settled ravenclaw it shall be. Should we make a banner and scream like fan girls?” she asked her trying to make her smile. She then carefully listened to what Isobel was saying. Fainting being romantic? She thought about it for a while and blinked. Nulu had fainted about six time past the fourteen years and they all had been painful experiences and nothing romantic. “I agree not a great thing and yes lots of times.” She raised her finger. “I was cutting vegetables and this was before I knew about me being a witch so when I asked mommy for the trash bag it came to me and thankfully the maid was out for the day. I saw a levitating bag, then I cut my finger when I turned to see the blood I went dizzy and fainted.” She said while moving her finger around. “Blood is not my best friend.” She told her and put her finger down. She then giggle. “Not romantic, more off ouchie.”

“you really think so?” she asked putting both her hands on each cheek. “No one has ever said that it was cool” she told her and her blush came back. She listened to her and smile. “I can build it, but my ideas aren’t always the best, this one is the only good one.” She told her and turned her hand into a fist and hit her other hand. “I can build, you make the ideas.” She told her and bit her lip. Nulu was getting overzealous with her ideas. “that is if you would like.” She told her and smiled. “first I want to build it and have it work then I can suggest it to the professor.” She told her.
Nulu looked at matty her face bright pink from the conversation she was having with Isobel she smiled at him as he patted her shoulder. “It makes mommy sad when I cry, and I made a promise not to shed a tear so far I am falling aren’t i?” she asked him and took the handkerchief. “thank you.”

Emmaleigh couldn't do anything but grin at the girl's excitement. After all, she had been here a year and a half already, and she was still extremely excited to be here. Speaking of which, "So, What year are you?" she asked, wondering if she was another second year that she had managed not to meet last term.

Nympy came and sat in the Common Room. He felt like this term was just flying by and there was nothng he could do to stop it. He evtually thought so hard that he just fell asleep lying there in one of the puffy air chairs.

Nunually was on her way out from the common room to go and see the Quidditch match when she saw someone sleeping on one of the puffy chairs she blinked and ran back upstairs to the girls dorms and grabbed a blanket. She then went over to him and put it on the person. she then went back to the girls dorms to grab the banner and she went out leaving a note on the desk telling the person that the blanket belonged to her and he could use it as long as he pleased.

Viola saw that Emmaleigh was grinning and she grinned back. She probably understood her excitement. "First year. How about you?" she asked. She thought that the girl was probably in her year or a year ahead of her.

Kita laughed. Once again, she was acting like a mad woman. It was too late in the evening to care about such trivial matters. "Good! And, mind you, i want to know everything," she said, "Wow, you'll have to wait a long time for that to happen!" It was taking her more than five years in Hogwarts to find a boyfriend, who knew how long it would take for her to find two? She fake sighed and tried to think of the number of older girls she knew. "Yeah, i don't know too many of them either. What a pity," she said, "Yeah, we're going to have to trust each other. I wonder how that's going to turn out..."

"See? You have nothing to worry about!" Kita said. But then Ava Jade started laughing which only drove her to laughter as well. Ah... the pleasures of being a girl! "You know what? I'm going to keep my eyes open for this guy. You never know, he might be around... just waiting..." Now that was another stupid thing she had just done today. What was the point in saying that she was going to find the perfect guy for Ava Jade when she had no luck with guys herself? Meh!

Kita frowned slightly and looked down at her watch. "Wow! You're right!" she said, looking back up at Ava Jade again with a grin on her face, "Who would've known that a topic like boys could get us talking well into the night?"

Cassidy looked up, concern written on his brow. He rushed to his feet and to the girl's side. "Oh gosh, A-Are you okay?" He said, picking her book off the ground and handing it to her. "S-Say aren't that girl who helped my friend Jay?" He snapped his fingers, trying to remember. He frowned. "I'm sorry, I'm afraid I don't remember your name.." He scratched the back of his head sheepishly.

Jaina looked up from her uniform and saw Cassidy. "Oh, hey! Cassidy, right? Yeah, I should know better than to walk and read," she said as she took the book from him. She smiled at him. "It's ok. It's a huge school and tons of people. Jaina Maloney," she said while holding her hand out to shake his.

Isobel gave Nulu a soft half-smile and dropped the subject. If she wanted to think about it, she could. "Yep," Isobel said with a grin. "Even though I don't know anyone actually on the team." She laughed. "I suppose we should go now, do you think?" As they were walking out of the common room she said. "I'm not good at building things. I can think of ideas, but I'd have no hope of ever making anything."
