"The states? Cool," Isobel said. "I've never been there," he aid thoughtfully. "The only places I've been to other than England are France and Italy." Only briefly though, for like three days. She had spaghetti there. "I lived in France. But when I got adopted I moved here. I went to Beaubaxtons though, I lived with my Aunt during the school year. My little sister still goes there, she got attached." Jaymie wasn't even French.

reaching in to his bag he pulled out a thick muggle letter " cool here are the forms that your mom need to fill in so she can ride in the Rodeo Prade ,and these are pic's of the horses she can pick from showing Em the 4 pic's of the Tennessee Walkers " they got all the gear and Dad said he will take your mom so she can get a cowboy hat she likes"

Charlie laughed, "Yes. I find that, as I go along, few people I meet have." She thought for a moment, "I don't think I've been anywhere in Europe except for England. At least I can understand the people here." She grinned at Isobel. "Is France beautiful?"

Isobel smiled. "When I was in Italy," for the whole three days, "I couldn't understand anything they were saying. I understand French though, it was the first language I learned." Isobel thought about the question. "I think it is, but everyone thinks their home is beautiful. It depends on opinion, and what you think it considered pretty. You'd have to see it to really know."

Charlie nodded, "I can understand that. I guess you could say I find my country amazing at times. But others that visit might think it unclean and horrendous." She sighed and shook her head. She missed her home.

Violet chuckled a little lightly and said,"Yes, it does happen, I just feel so terrible whenever it happens.." She nodded almost immediately saying,"I am a first year.." Violet smiled and then asked lightly,"Is it that obvious?" She giggled a little and then asked,"What year are you in Matty?"

Isobel nodded. "So, Charlie, do you have any siblings?" Isobel thought that Charlie needed a nickname; she gave everyone nicknames. She thought, what could she call Charlie? Hmm.

Charlie shook her head, "No. But my Aunt and Uncle have 3 kids, so I guess now I do." She smiled at the memory of her young, often rebellious cousins. "What about you?"

Jaina walked into the common room heading to her dorm. Once again, she was reading while walking. Not paying attention to what she was doing she trip and fell. "DANG IT!" She said as she picked herself up and dusted herself off.

"I have five siblings," Isobel said. "But only my oldest sister, Sara, is directly related to me." She often wished she had cousins, but her aunt would never be able to raise kids full time. She had tried that before.

"Five?" Charlie gaped at Isobel. Good grief. "It must be nice right? To have so much family?"

Sammy grinned. See her cheering had helped. People would be begging for her to cheer for their team soon enough. "no problem, I was having a cheer off with a Slythie girl, so I had to be loud. I never caught her name though" she said, thinking it over now.

"Oh right, got it. WAIT! You're from the states? That's so awesome" Sammy said excitedly. "so what's it like over there? " she asked. "Have you ever been to New York? I've heard it's amazing. But I've never been there, but still. " Maybe someone should've warned Charlie that Sammy talks like A LOT.

"Most of the time," she said. "But, you know, with little kids. You just love them, but sometimes you want to strangle them." Especially since they were her siblings. "Did you win?" She asked Sammy with a grin.

Ava Jade laughed as Kita asked her who she consider with "real experience." "Someone with more than one boyfriend, for one thing!" she said. "Probably a sixth- or a seventh-year who's had time to have a few small relationships and then gone steady with one person for a while. Yep. I'd call that experienced."

Hearing Kita's "coughing fit," Ava Jade burst out in a new round of giggles. "I know, I know...I'll probably never find a guy who will let me win Wizard's Chess. BUT I can always keep looking! There might be one or two out there..."

"Your shortness gave you away to being a firstie. I am a 5th year that would be why I'm 6 foot something. How are you liking Hogwarts?"

Violet then nodded her head and said lighly,"Well, I guess that would explain itself then." She smiled and laughed a little at herself, but she honestly was a little frustrated, she couldn't wait to be taller, she strongly disliked being short. Then she replied a little cheerfully,"Oh a fifth year? How wonderful! I am absolutely loving attending Hogwarts! It's like an adventure here every day and I absolutely love it! How has Hogwarts been for you the last four years of coming here Matty?!" She laughed lightly at his comment about him being so tall...lucky!

Provided that she had not been able to make many friends Nulu figured she was going to attempt to making more. As Isobel took the candy she smiled. "And nice to meet you as well." she told her and blinked. "Where I am from?" she tilted her head and raised a finger. "Well that can be debated, mother is an inventor and she works for her own company, but we are always traveling. So I guess I am from nowhere. We have a house in the states, and two in England, and one in Scotland." she said while putting her finger on her cheek "Yet lately I have been living in the states since mother is being treated in Minnesota for her cancer." she told her an took a deep breath. "I'm too scared to go up there, besides with my allergies and ashtma I think I would cause problems if I were able to join the Quidditch team." she grinned. "Lots of people tell me that one you are up there the andreline quicks in and so you forget until you stop and look down." she told her and smiled

Nulu smiled at him, "Tired, and trying to get back my yellow coat from Josh." she said and giggled at him. "Knight in glasses huh?" she thought a bit. "I like that I think I might use that, althought these are fake." she took them off. "Mom bought me contacts after I lost my glasses and broken them forty times last year." she told him. "I just am not comfortable without them." Nunually completely forgot about the present. "Matty may I ask you a question? Its kind of personal and I am unsure if its something I should ask..." she said lowering down her smile and face.

Charlie smiled at the seemingly hyper girl, "Yes and yes. New York is amazing and full of life and what's great about it is, not even twenty minutes down the road is a nice town and farmland." When Chralie had visited, she had been drawn in by the lights and people. They, her family and her, had been their during Christmas. Time Square and Rockefeller Center had been lit beyond imagination.

"I've liked it here. Better then most places I guess. I used to be the quite shy guy in the library, then I grew wicked fast and couldn't hide very well."
*He laughed remembering his friends joke on how soon he would be able to see over the bookcases.*


*Looking over Matty frowned a little.*
"Some bloke has your coat? Point him out I'll get it for you."
*His frown then lightened and he smiled a little.*
"Ask away young one."

Taking the letter, she nodded. "Um, ok." she said as she looked at the pictures. "The horses look..." and she paused. "Nice." Nice was a polite word to say right? After all, they weren't scraggly and scrawny, but the were nothing like her horses.
Moving away from the subject, she said. "Um, so are you going to come to the YWHO meeting?"

Nulu nodded. "Yeah Josh, we have um..." she pouted as she thought. "History? I guess would be the word..." she said and sighed. Josh had hurt her oin so many levels and now he wanted to make things right, but things were not working. Nulu refused to get close to him again. "Is it alright to hate someone for what others made him do? Even if he did not want to do it at the end?" she asked him in the most serious voice she had ever used. "Would it be alright to fall in love with someone like that?" she asked whil hugging herself.

Viola entered the common room. She found an empty chair nearby & sat down. Why did she feel so nervous? Probably because she was new & she didn't really know anyone here. She sighed & looked around to see if there was anyone to talk to.

"of course" Sammy replied with a smirk. "She had no chance at beating me. No one does" she said happily. With yet another smirk. smirksmirkasmirkasmirka.

"That would be cool," Isobel said. "But it would also be a pain moving around a lot." she stopped and considered it, then she heard Nulu say her mom had cancer. "Oh no. I-I'm sorry." She felt like hugging the girl, but decided not to since she didn't know her that well. She considered' would it reassure her if Isobel told her that at least her mother wasn't dead, like Isobel's probably was. Probably not.

"Well, I'm afraid of heights," Isobel pointed out, glad they were on happier subjects. "But that didn't stop me from trying out; because I like quidditch. I think you should try it," she said. "Just fly around, and toss the ball back and forth at least. You might find that you like it." She smiled. "I suppose that's true. Without the excitement of the game I'd never be able to stay up there for that long." At the game, it wasn't until it was over, and she looked down to the stands and at Sammy when she noticed the height.

"That's a good point," Isobel said with a smile. She stopped and considered something. She tilted her head slightly like she did when she asked questions, and her voice had a tone of curiosity. "So, Sammy, have you played quidditch before?"

*Matty thought about it for a moment then frowned and shook his head.*
"No... no one can make someone do something. If this guy wont think for himself and listen to what others say then I wouldn't start that kind of relationship."
