Isobel heard a voice. She looked around wildly, until she realized there was a girl talking to her. She gave her a small smile. "Yeah," she said. "I-I'm just a little afraid of heights." She paused, then realized she should introduce herself. "My name is Isobel VonHue, third year." She was about to say Hufflepuff, but that should probably be obvious.

Nulu walked back to her and smiled. "I am 4th year Mustang, Nunually but you can call me Nulu." she said and took a small bow. She then straightened up and smiled. "I have that same thing which is hard since i have to fly to get to hogwarts when the terms starts." she said with a smile and took out a candy out of her pocket. "This is what mommy gives me to geel better." she told her giving her the candy. "nice to meet you Isobel Bonhue...VonHue." she said learning how to pronounce her last name.

Kita nodded. She was kind of glad that Ava Jade understood; some other people certainly hadn't. Plus, it didn't seem like they liked her; she hadn't heard from them since that one day she talked to them. And then Ava Jade went on to talking about... extra attention? She started laughing, despite the fact that her stomach was aching from laughing too much. "Extra attention eh?" she asked, "Is that what you do to guys you like?" From all the laughing and the giggling Kita had learnt something: Ava Jade isn't as innocent as she may come across. "But imagine if they're absolutely clueless when it comes to hints?" she asked. After all, they could be.

"Ooh! A few guys eh?" she asked, waggling her eyebrows. This girl really had a lot of experience in this matter. Kita laughed again; something she was doing a lot in this conversation. "No why am i not surprised?" she said, laughing, "Oh my! I'm sure there are guys that will out-talk you. And hey, they might even let you win at Wizard's Chess." And there's the signature wink.

"Nice to meet you Nunually." That was a...different name, but Isobel liked it. It sounded cool. She took the candy. "Thanks," she said with a smile. She looked at Nunually curiously. She had to fly to get here? "Where are you from?" She asked. "Being afraid of heights is weird, considering I'm on the quidditch team." She gave a small smile. "Though I don't really concentrate on that fact when I'm up in the air."

Hearing the apprehension in the boy's voice, Emmaleigh shifted uncomfortably in her seat, and looked up. "I, I, um." she said, trying to figure out what to say. She sighed. "I told you at the very beginning that I was uncomfortable with all this." She looked down at her plate, thinking. She didn't want to hurt his feeling more than she already had. After all, it wasn't his fault that she couldn't accept the idea of dating. It was quite honestly the famous cliche."I don't want to date anyone."

*Not paying to much attention to what was going on around him either Matty felt a splash of something hot on his back.*
"Woah!"
*Pulling his robe off he looked around then saw it was only a first year.*
"It's okay, I sort of made a mess with the floor anyway."
*Once his books were back to what they were he gave the girl a warm smile and held a hand out to her.*
"I'm Matty Gardner."



"Not at all. Bloody Merlins nose hairs it's cold out!" *Rubbing his arms he smiled at her.*
"How are you young one?"
*He then laughed a little as a small cloak went around him.*
"Why thank you, my knight in... well glasses. Haha thanks."

lifting her chin so she had to look him in the eye's.with a small smile playing at the corner of his mouth " So do we need to set up who gets custody of Britt " giving her a hug and and wispering in to her ear Your still my best friend, I still love ya ,and I promis nothing will change "

"I, I'm sorry." she said in a weak voice. What more could she say? "I didn't mean for any of this to happen." Returning the hug, she said, "Well thats good, I'd be very upset if I lost a best friend." Which is why she was too afraid to say anything before now.

" no need to be sorry were still friends ,,,, but you dont think Britt is going to freak out do you " pausing for a min " you still going to come over to the states to visit arnt you "

Ava Jade laughed as Kita's response. "Oh yes, guys love a little extra attention! And I have soooo much experience in the matter, which my one boyfriend and all... Gosh, do I have a history!" She burst out in giggles. When Kita asked the next question, Ava Jade replied, "Well guys are often clueless too" -- she made a face -- "but you just have to keep trying, I guess. If they're just too clueless, then I don't even know what to do. You'd have to ask someone with real boy experience..." She laughed again.

"I doubt any guy will wanna let me beat him at Wizard's Chess," Ava Jade said in a falsely tragic voice. "So...I guess I'll just have to get good enough at the game where he won't have a choice!" She giggled. "Right now, he's going to have to be pretty nice to let me win, because I'm not really that great... I get too impatient and just start making moves without thinking!"

After fully embarrassing herself Violet could already tell she was blushing. It worsened a little when she had realized that she had done this to a 5th year, oh Merlin, how foolish of her! But then Violet immediately said a little nervously,"It's my fault for not paying attention to where I was walking," but then she began to relax when he wasn't angry at all and then was fully content when he gave her a warm smile. She then gently put her hand out and placed it in his saying in a bright tone,"Lovely to meet you Matty Gardner! My name's Violet, Violet Le Veela." Violet then smiled back at him warmly as they shook hands gently.

"Well tripping over books and spilling tea happens."
*He laughed and pulled his hand back. Picking his books up he stood up. She was a young one, maybe a first or second year? What was with all the younger students finding him this year?*
"You must be a... first year?"

Kita laughed for what felt like the millionth time. It was worth it to stay up just to have this conversation. "You do! Having one boyfriend has taught you a lot," she said, winking, "I would be so surprised if you didn't have any experience in this matter at all." It would be like Kita... talking about similar things, actually. A fresh wave of laughter broke over her as she saw the face Ava Jade made. "You're right, some of them are quite clueless," she said, thinking of a certain someone, "Real boy experience eh? Now what kind of person would you categorise that as?" Her eyebrows instantly shot up a few notches.

Kita covered an awkward hand over her mouth to stop herself from laughing. After all, her stomach needed to recover from all the laughing she had done since this conversation started. "Well, that's guy's for you," she said, trying and failing to keep her voice level, "Maybe your dream guy will let you win... eventually." Realising that she said the last word out loud, she pretended as though she was being attacked by the coughing disease. "Yeah, you never know, the guy might want you to let him win once you get really good," she said, laughing, "Oh i totally understand! I get like that as well! That's why i never play Wizard's Chess. It requires way too much patience."

Charlie ducked into the commonroom after the portrait swung open. She nodded at the portraits as she always did, giving Tonks a smile, and continued into the room to plop on a soft overflowing chair.

Isobel noticed a girl who looked about her age come in to the room. "Bonjour," she greeted cheerfully. "My name is Isobel VonHue and I'm a third year." She smiled...she seemed to smile a lot. Oh well, it took more muscles to smile than to frown you know. Anywho...Isobel came back to the present, hoping she hadn't paused awkwardly for a while. "What's your name?"

Emmaleigh thought about this. Would Brit be upset? That was highly unlikely, she would probably be relieved. When it came time for her to speak, all she could manage was, "I think, I think she will understand." At the boy's next question, she gave a nod without hesitation. "Yes, of coarse I'll still come. It you still want me to."

Charlie looked up from the fire and saw a smiling girl looking back at her, "Uh hi." The girl, Isobel, seemed to drift out for a moment. When she came back she asked for her name, "Charlie, Charlie Manos." She stuck out her hand for a handshake.

Cassidy sat alone in the Common Room, reading over old entries in his journal. He vaguely wondered where his friends were, but he couldn't go looking for them. He'd only get lost. He sighed, flipping the page and waiting for something better to come along and entertain him.

"Nice to meet you Charlie," Isobel said with a smile. "What year are you in?" She didn't know what else to say, she would normally ask what house. But Charlie was obviously a Hufflepuff.

Isobel saw a boy come in to the common room. She waved him over to where she was standing by Charlie and Nunually. "Bonjour," she greeted cheerfully. She just felt cheerful now, they had just won the quidditch game. Her face wasn't pale any more, and she wasn't nearly as shaky. "My name's Isobel VonHue."

Sammy walked out from the dorms. AND OH MY PUFFLE THERE WAS A LOT OF PUFFERS HERE! She chose to go say hi to one she didn't know as apposed to all the other puffs she didn't know "Hello" she said brightly to the boy. "You like kinda lonely over here all by your lonesome" she said. Have I mentioned Sammy's classiness before? "I'm Sammy by the way."

Then Isobel came over as well. "Hi Isobel" she said cheerily. "You're on the quiditch team right?" she asked. Because Sammy had almost lost her voice from shouting at the match.

Isobel looked over and saw Sammy come over to them. Oh Hiii Huffie buddy, she thought. "Hey Sammy," she greeted. "Yep, I'm beater. I saw you at the match. Well...heard you." She grinned, who hadn't heard Sammy?

And just like that Charlie was surronded by more people. She figured now was as good as time as any to stand up and say hello. She stood and looked at the two newcomers. "Hello, I'm Charlie Manos." Charlie then looked at Isobel, "To answer your question, I'm a third year. And you are on the Quidditch team? Cool. I wanted to try out but missed the tryouts." She gave a nod to the player.

Sammy grinned. SEE! Everyone loved Sammy's cheering. "Well congrats on the win" she said happily. "Yeah ... I had no voice earlier" she said slightly embarrassed. But she was a proud puff and she had shown that at the match. Well, shouted it. And had a shout off with a Slythie.

OH LOOKIE ANOTHER PUFF SAMMY DIDN'T KNOW "great to meet you Charlie. I'm Sammy Star" wait HOLD UP. "I'm third year as well, are you new or something?' she asked. Because Sammy used to think she knew all the girls in her year.

"That's too bad," she said with a sympathetic half-frown. But then she went back to her normally cheerful self. "Have you played before?" Isobel had played at Beaubaxtons. Isobel grinned at Sammy. "That doesn't really surprise me. And thanks." It was pretty awesome. "It was hard not to win with people like you cheering so loudly." She grinned again.

"Hi Sammy." Charlie smiled at her than answered, Yeah. I used to live in the States but moved here with my Aunt and Uncles." She then turned the seemingly always cheerful Isobel, "Yep. For my old school." She grinned. He father had taught her to play at a young age, but she feared she was out of practice after so long.
