Conan was scared. That food had just appeared at the table. Where did it come from? Must be a trick of the eye thing. Like the dishes appeared quickly. Yep that must be it. Definitely. He was still scared. He had no friends here. He didn't know anyone in this Hufflepuff house. He sat in a chair, and hugged his legs to his chest. Where were his friends? Like Treyen and Rodney. Wibble.

FINALLY!!

She was back in what was undoubtedly one of her favorite places in the castle. HER common room. Bouncing through the portal, with her kneazle at her heels, young Arya let her eyes glide around the room excitedly. Lingering briefly on the room's sole occupant to give him a welcoming grin. It always amazed her how much she missed the place, or maybe it was just her favorite plush chair by the fireplace that she missed. What she did know was that it didn't take long for her to reach said chair and plop into it, letting out a content sigh as the gray tabby hopped into her lap.

And, here he was, carrying around a cupcake that was so totally meant for Jake, one of those that Kurumi made for him, when the boy stepped inside the Common Room and noticed...noticed...noticed..."Conan?" he said, mostly asking to himself if it was the correct name, right?

The boy who'd saved him! Who'd saved him from getting a new wand, that is.

"Conan! It is you! What's wrong?" he said, sitting on the chair next to sit, "Do you want a cupcake?" what the heck, he could have it, and if he fell instantly in love with Kurumi then he'd know not to eat the rest batch.

Rene walked into the common room and walked to her favorite chair but there was someone already there. She walked over to the other chair and sat down her grey ans white kneazle followed her and settled on her lap. "Hello" she said to the girl. She wasnt very young so she wasnt new but why hadnt she seen her around. "My name is Rene." she introduced

Arya was perfectly content with laying on her chair with her kneazle, considering sleeping here instead of going up to her dorm. Though she did want to see what the fourth year dorms looked like. Hmm.

Before she could put too much thought into it, however, someone was speaking to her. Lifting her head off the chair's arm, she glanced at the new face with a smile. "Hey! I'm Arya." She considered sitting up, but quickly decided against it. "Its nice to meet you Rene."

The girl was rather pretty and so was her kneazle. She looked alittle on the tired side but who could blame her it was a long day. She was just as tired and hope she hadnt disturbed her to much.

"Its nice to meet you Arya. What year are you in? Im a seventh year" she added. She looked around the common room as it begin to fill up with students and hoped it wouldnt get to crowded.

She was finally allowed in the place she tried to sneak up to earlier in the night. No one had knew this bit of Information except for Her best friend EM... and the Mindreader Ikea Strange Ministry Ikeena Man. She had to admit she Definitley was relieved that she was out his sight.

She walked over to one of the groups of four soft pillows and waited for any one of her friends to come in

Violet walked into the Hufflepuff Common Room with the biggest smile on her face. She looked around examining everything single thing she saw. Violet then looked at her fellow Hufflepuffs and said brightly,"Hello everyone!" She smiled at everybody and continued to examine the Common Room. Violet looked at the fireplace in the middle of the room and was very excited to be by that when it got cold. She made her way over to one of the couches and sat down, getting comfortable very quickly, loving every second of it. Violet couldn't help but continue to smile at the thought of everything happening, it was all incredibly overwhelming to her, and she loved it.

*With a smile Matty walked into the common room glad to be back. Walking over to the fireplace he took a seat on the end of a couch. Pulling out his small pocket journal from his back pocket. Using his wand he wrote his home address and started to write. It was a magical note book linked to one his uncle had. Sort of like a cell phone only with a paper.
But it wasn't his uncle it was his aunt who answered. He smiled all the same glad to talk to her as well.
After a few minutes he closed the journal and looked around the common room.*



*Seeing the young girl he cleared his throat.*
"Umm hello?"

slips in hopeing that it is safe seeing Britt but no Em "Sooo what is new " plooping down on the couch that had clamied for the 3 of them last year

HMPH. Emmaleigh walked in through the common room door for the first time since the end of term, and she failed really enjoy it. She didn't look around to see if anything had changed, she just marched over to where she knew Michael would be. Standing infront of him, she crossed her arms. "Well, what was that about?" she asked sternly.

Brittany Jerked her head around when she heard a noise behind her. It sounded as if this person need some water. Maybe she should over them some? "Hi" she said to the new comer. She didnt offer the water yet but it wasnt out of the question just yet

Brittany Grinned when she saw Mikey arrive and it wasnt ecause she was happy to see him... not that she wasnt.... she just knew em had it out for him. "Oh Nothing except for Em's probably going to murder you when she sees you' she said chuckling

And here she was right one time. Brittany grew quiet to watch the situation at hand

looking to Britt to see if he was going to be getting it on both sides "What was what about"

Brittany caught Mikey Eye and threw up both her hands in the universal sign for "My names Bennet im not in it". Sorry Mikey *Grin*

"Hello I'm Matty Gardner. You were with that other second year who-"
*But before he could go on the second year he was talking about walked in. Matthias gave him a cold look.*

"You-... why in Merlin's beard did you talk to a man from the ministry like that?"
*He wanted to say more but saw one of the boys other friends giving him a hard look as well. Folding his arms Matty sat back then turned to the girl he had been talking to and smiled.*

"Anyway like I said I'm Matthias "Matty" Gardner. You looked a little freaked out of the ministry man, you okay?"

"You know what I'm talking about!" she said looking him in the eye. That opening feast had been the most unpleasant thing she had ever experienced at Hogwarts.

Uh-Oh this was turning out to be more Volitile then she thought. Him This Ikeena Man brought strange Behaviors with him...

Wow. This boy changed moods really quicked. He went from happy to mad back to happy all in about five seconds. That had to be a record. She didnt know how to react because he had been so nice to her but he also just yelled at her best friend right in front of her. Oh she hoped Mikey wouldnt be mad at her if she carried on with the conversation. She gave a weak smile towards mikey before continuing. "Hello Matty... if its alright that I call you that." she asked before continuing. "Im Brittany Lee or just Britt. Its nice to meet you.' she said before stilling another glance at Mikey. "And My friend didnt mean any harm its just his... well his personality i guess." she said with another weak smile this time toward Matty.

And the smile dropped as mention the Strange man. She didnt know how to explain why she was so freaked out. She didnt think anyone else noticed it. How could they it was all inside her head. So she answered the best way she could... she lied "Yes Im fine." she said with another smile

Oh Brother she wondered if she was going to have to get in the middle of these two

feeling his temper rise but not wanting to snap at Em but he turned to the boy that had just poped off at him "Matty why in Mrelin's beard are you worried bout him he works for the ministry,so he works for you and me.And if I was out of line with him I think he would have told me so. turning back to Em "sorry to drop you in the middle of it but all dads friends are Ex military and the one thing they hate more then any thing is Fake" cutting hes eyes back to Matty "people I know him sitting down was not quiet what I wanted but now we have talked to him up close he wont seem soooo bad the next time " giving a small smile " I do feel bad and if you want me to say i am sorry to him I could go get him and bring him back here tell him"

"Matty will do just fine. And if that is how your friend respects his elders then I might have a problem."
*Matty said giving the boy a small frown. Hearing her say she was fine he turned back to her with a warm smile. Being a quite loner for so long he was able to read people very well. That and any second year faced with a security man from the ministry would panic a little.*


*When the boy talked to him that way Matty sat back in a bit of awe. Who did this little second year think he was. But before he could get mad he smiled. This guy reminded him of who he wished he had been back in his second year.*
"Haha! Your okay. I understand what you mean when it comes to fakes but still you have to show your elders some respect."

"Okay Matty It is then." she said with a genuwine smile now. She just realized how tall he was now that she really focused on him and wasnt worrying so much about war erupting in the common room. "So your like a 7th year right?" she asked. He was tall enough to be a 7th year so thats what she felt he should be

"I should be in my 5th year but I did some extra glasses making me in my 6th. But thank you all the same."
*He said with a warm smile then nodding to the three of them.*
"It is not hard to see that you lot are in the 2nd year. Am I right?"

"Fourth year." She stated simply, eyes going from the girl to the cat she had. "Nice kneazle." Of course she was aware of her own, and absently stroked his back as she sat up just enough as to not strain her neck. "Is this your first year here or have I just not seen you before?" It always seemed to be a lot of both running around.

Wow he skipped a year. Brittany wandered why this kid was in ravenclaw. She in fact was almost there herself. She was happy she wasnt though. 'You must be really smart." she said hoping that didnt sound to silly. "But Right you are we are 2nd years." she said with a nod

*Matty just shrugged.*
"If reading a lot makes you smart. My uncle has a huge library almost the size of the one here at Hogwarts. Plus the place I went for summer holiday taught a few of the classes I would have learned in my 5th year. It would be a waste to do them over."
