Emily bowed her head respectfully to Professor Tate- by way of greeting.
And seeing as nobody asked her a direct question, kept her mouth shut. Things were becoming a little overwhelming... Emily could feel the pressure.

Turning her head to the muggle girl beside her Emily released a small sigh.
Why did they have to ruin her day? Although at least she couldn't say it was boring.

Iris appeared in the fireplace as the green flames died away. Stumbling slightly as her feet his the grate, the prefect grabbed hold of the mantle so as to prevent herself from falling over. Quickly moving away from the fireplace - she didn't want to get kicked in the bum by the next student! - Iris raised an eyebrow at the large sum of students in the office. Why were there so many children?! Remembering that she was covered in soot, the prefect began to dust herself off whilst listening in to what the adults were saying.

Then she saw Professor Vindictus, and a couple of strange looking kids. Iris had never seen those two before. And why was the boy knocked out?? The prefect stood quietly, her height giving her the advantage of being able to see over the heads of the other students that were in front of her.

...

Muggles?

Oh, that's definitely not good.

Satine appeared in the fireplace and stepped out with a little bit of dark green dust on her right cheek. She shook her head and more green dust fell from her clothes and hair. She glanced around quickly and was instantly overwhelmed with all of the peeps in the room. Wow she hadn't even realized this many peeps could fit in the headmaster's office.

As bad as she wanted to stay, she really wasn't sure if they needed any extra bodies or opinions in the middle of this...eventhough the mention of muggles made her tempted to just blend into the crowd.

She glanced around the room and finally saw the Headmaster. She waited for him to stop talking and then politely said, "Headmaster, I can tell that the room is very full and there is an issue at Hogwarts. Will you be needing all of us to stay and be briefed on things or would you rather us give you some room?" she asked with a little cock of her right eyebrow.

Iridesca let her breath go as the room came into focus. She instantly knew that she had made it to her destination this time...no sticker bushes for her this time around. As she step out of the fireplace, she glanced around frantically to make sure Satine had made it. Once she saw Satine, she quickly counted the other children to make sure they had all made it through as well...that was all they needed was one missing and ending up somewhere random in the middle of this fiasco.

She was pretty sure that they had all made it so she focused in on the Headmaster to try to hear the story. As he mentioned Obliviators she stepped forward a little bit so that the professor knew she was one of the people the Headmaster was talking about. She didn't want to interrupt or do anything until the Headmaster was ready for her to jump into action.

"Unless you're here with Professor Vindictus, you can head back to your common room," Tate nodded at Satine's question, encouraging those who had just come through the Floo to continue on out the door and back to their dorms.

Looking at Professor Tate as he answered Satine's question, Iris sighed slightly. She kind of wanted to hang around to find out what was going on... but she'd find out those little details later on. Giving Satine a look, she indicated to the door as if to say 'hang out for a bit first? Then go to the common rooms?'

Then, she nodded to the professors and other adults in the rooms, and made her way to the spirally staircase to leave the office...

Max actually agreed with Tate's statement and nodded. The fewer students in the office, the better.

"While we're waiting, tell me one thing - how was the 'party'?" he asked since he wasn't on the guest list.

Simon nodded at his dismissal hesitating as he looked between Selina and the floo that Kurumi had yet to come through. He almost berated himself for leaving before she had gone but he reminded himself that there were several staff and aurors there as well including two heads of house so she would be fine. "You're welcome sir," he finally spoke, taking Tate's repeat of the dismissal to Satine as a further push for himself. The captain taking his leave and heading out the way Lexi and Iris had gone.

With another flash Gavin was deposited in the floo he had intended though he had to admit it hadn't expected to ever be in the Headmaster's office again. Not that the former Gryffindor had ever had any real reason to be there when he had been in school. He stepped out and momentarily brushed himself off before moving closer to his ministry companion to let the rest of the remain group to come through the floo. The man staying quiet as he took everything in, listening absently to what was being said in case it dealt with his reason fro being there.

Nodding as if he understood about the finer details of flying " Sir,may I stay I was also involved in the innicdent in Hogsmead also."

Emerging from the green flames, Arya didn't bother with dusting off the soot. A good shower would solve that problem, and she had other things to worry about besides how filthy she was. A clean sweep of the room with her brown eyes allowed her to take in the entire room and it's occupants.

It wasn't difficult to realize what happened in their absence, and that there was a LOT of students in the office. She probably wasn't needed now, was she? Arya didn't think so. Moving over to Sabel, she took hold of his hand gave it a small tug towards the door. "Walk me to my common room?"

After much spinning and choking ash, Riley was depositted on the rug infront of the fireplace in Headmaster Tate's office. He opened his eyes and noticed that there were an awful lot of people in there including some ministry officials, a crazed looking Professor Vindictus, and two kids he had never seen before. Scowling at them, because that was what he did to people he didn't know why waste kindess on strangers was his philosophy, he walked towards the door.

That wasn't fair, he wanted to see the kids get fed to the man-eating plant Vindictus and Lafay had been training to take over the school. The Gryffindor had taken a fancy to reading a gossip parchment he had found on the forth floor corridor, nd of course to him all of the tings were fact. After stalling and dragging his feet as long as possible the sixth year made it to the door and wrentched it open with a sigh and stomped out. Someone in there had BETTER spill the beans later. He tried to remember the faces of those inside.

"Terrible. Just... just terrible. I'll tell you about it later, but you can tell how totally wiped they all are as they just stumble out of that Floo." He glanced past Max to where Iridesca and her Obliviator friend waited and gestured toward the unknown teenagers.

"Muggles."

"You've made your statement, lad. Perhaps you could return the broom to the shed as instructed and make your way back to your common room."

Kurumi came shooting out of the fireplace and skidded across the Headmater's office's floor on her back until coming to a stop somewhere around his desk. Her kimono and hair had surprisingly managed to stay in perfect condition despite the roller coaster of a ride she had just been on.

She almost felt like she was going to be sick. Hadn't she read somewhere that traveling by Floo powder was calmer than Apparating? Kurumi was pretty sure she wouldn't be able to stomach doing either one for a very long time.

Dusting herself off, Kurumi looked around and saw a very crowded office. Still, before she could register anything, Kurumi approached the Headmaster and bowed very deeply. "I-I-I'm sorry for earlier, Headmaster," she said not daring to look up. "I was only trying to be polite..."

She then looked at of the corner of her eye at everyone in the room.

What in Merlin's Pink Jumper was going on?

She then heard Michael speak about Hogsmeade and the "incident" that had happened there. She scooted over closer to him. "You mean the elderly couple we met?"

Damien came spinning into sight in a blaze of green flames. He had PROMISED the little waddling girl he would be. FEH. Stepping from the grate he unholstered his wand and siphoned off the ash and such.

Casting a glance around the room he stepped back to the side of the fireplace, wand held aloft on the off chance that something RIDICULOUS happened on the way out the FLOO. Stranger things had happened. Not to mention... he didn't NEED to take a front stage to the current situation. Being in the shadows let him do his job just as well.

"But it didnt seem to do any good if we are finding muggles walking around campus ..Sir"taking the broom and heading toward the door


Nodding toward the 2 teenagers " yea now they are walking round campus and riding brooms"

"And I apologize for snapping at you in the heat of the moment. Let's just call it a draw on bad judgment and move on," Tate gave the girl a short nod.

"But for now, you are dismissed back to your common room. Thank you for your participation and good behavior today."

Tate shrugged. He wasn't going to be insulted over the suggestion that he had ignored the warning when things were so out of control all over the UK. "I suggest you read the Daily Prophet if you think I'm redolent in free time. There's plenty going on in the Wizarding World to keep the wards in Hogsmeade from being at the top of anyone's list. Regardless, why don't you assist Miss Hollingberry back to her common room?"

Kyle looked up at the Headmaster, "H-hello Headmaster Tate" Kyle bit her lip, blushing slightly in utter nerves. She bit her lip, and began to speak again. "I was um, ya know close to the front gate when the muggles er - showed up." She bit her lip and sighed nerves raging.

Selina stayed put in her seat. Tate had told everyone else to leave unless they were with Vindictus. So here she was in a room full of oddly calm adults and two Muggle teenagers. It was all very odd. But Selina was too petrified from what she had seen unfold throughout the day to raise a question. So she sat watching Simon and all of the other students leave her and a few others behind....

The green flames gave way to the view of the larger circular office of Headmaster Tate. The room was full not only of shiny smoke puffing instruments but also of students it seemed. Thinking that they were just the returning partying, Patroclus made his way out of the fire place, intenting to stand with them, however when he saw that it was Jacob, he was taken alittle back.

Staring at his soot overed clothes the Prefect went to remove his wand to clean himself, however he stopped, he would clean up later, the muggle way.....no more unnecessary magic for this one for a while.

Hearing what was beening said, the LionBoy realised what had been the cause of their rapid departure; muggles in the grounds. Milling around near the door, Patroclus was unsure as to whether he should stay or leave; did Tate wish to speak to him some more regarding the incident, or was it just to be accepted and left in the past?

Iridesca turned her head slightly at her co-worker as he came closer and met him with a smile and little wink and then tune back into the Headmaster. She had to admit she was a little bit nervous especially when the thought hit her that this was technically her first mission as the Department Head. She let out a little breath and then forced herself not to think about that right now....

She listened to Tate's words and when he mentioned muggles, she leaned over to Gavin and whispered, "Apparently they made it into Hogwarts through the gates...sounds like something is up." she said with a little shake of her head right and left.

She glanced back at Tate, she didn't want to interrupt but she needed to start making a plain for Gavin and herself, "Headmaster, where are the muggles now and do we know how much they've seen or really understand? O, and how many and how old?" she asked with confidence hoping she wasn't stepping on anyone's toes, "That way Gavin and I can start planning now for how intense the memory change process will need to be." that was Iridesca...she didn't like to wait around or beat around the bush...she knew she was here for a job and she would like to have a clear idea of what she up against now.

Emily listened and observed intently as students came and went, and the ministry officials arrived. Shifting slightly in her seat she was wondering if she should answer the ladies question... deciding not to speak unless spoken to she brushed the hair out of her eyes and turned her attention to the muggle girl that was still slumped in the chair beside her.

How long would thye need her here for? thought Emily as she glanced around the room nervously.

Kurumi looked up and felt like someone had opened a window and allowed a breath of fresh air in. The slightly softened expression on the Headmaster's face put her at relative ease. "Thank you, Headmaster," she said softly bowing again.

She looked around the office again and wished she could stay and listen to what was going on, but the sense of urgency in his voice told her it was best for her to just do as he said.

Nodding to Professor Vindictus, and glancing at the two students slumped in a pair of chairs, Kurumi escorted herself out of the office.

The place suddenly got very crowded.

The puff of floo dust filled the room, closely followed by Tate and all the students that had been at the party....Along with some more adults. Isabelle frowned slightly at who she assumed were the Obliviators. Shuffling backwards as Max informed Tate of what was going on - it wasn't her place after all, considering she hadn't actually seen what had happened - she looked down at the two kids who had caused all this 'trouble'. She really did feel sorry for them. It was highly unlikely they meant any harm, but they'd be getting their minds wiped anyway.

"....It's a shame it's got to be done," she muttered to herself, under her breath, as she moved out the way of the departing children. Giving them all a smile as they passed, she waved them out the room and returned her attention to the muggles and the adults as they discussed things. A sigh escaped her, and the frown returned ever so slightly.

As soon as Arya was out of the Floo, he was by her side. There was an overwhelming sensation of relief at seeing her; that nothing had happened between their brief absence.

His fingers wrapped around her hand as she took hold of his, his eyes ghosting around the room before pausing on Tate. They weren't needed. It would have been chaos if they were anyways; too many bodies, too many opinions. Not a good combination. With a small nod to Arya, he started to the door, pausing to take another glance back at the Headmaster. There wasn't much he could do about the questions he had, or his concerns, but wait. So he followed Arya out the door and towards their common rooms.

"They are..." Tate looked again for the faces he didn't know, noting that both teenagers held the glazed look of one who had been confunded, and the boy the oddly stiff posture that indicated he'd been petrified.

"There and there. Perhaps you could take them now. Professor Vindictus and I, or really any of the professors present today, would be happy to follow up with you regarding any information you still require." He just wanted those children off his hands as quickly as possible.

Max turned to Tate and the obliviators he brought with him. "Here's the lowdown on what happened. Somehow these two Muggle teenagers wandered onto the school grounds via the gates. I don't know exactly how long they were on the grounds or what else they may have seen but somehow they managed to get into the Broomshed," he said in a low voice. "This numbskull -" Vindictus pointed to the petrified and confunded teenage boy, "Got on a broom while inside the shed. He wouldn't listen to anyone, so I had to take drastic measures before sending my message."
