Good little lion! Lexi nodded her head. "Let me say, if you ever have any type of animal attack me with cookie dough I am not going to be pleased. Especially not if it gets in my hair," Lexi told her with a chuckle. She was totally serious though.

Extending her hand she nodded to the girl. "Yeah. Hey Kurumi, I'm Lexi. Lovely to meet you," she said with a small smile.

Kurumi nodded nervously at Lexi's comment about attacking her with cookie dough. Unless it was another Defense Against the Dark Arts food fight, she had no plans of doing it. Although, the girl did fail to mention other types of food. Did that mean that baked cookies were OK? No, Kurumi had only done that once and it was when Adam had lied to her.

Kurumi took the other girl's hand and gave it a small shake before turning her attention to the elephant in the room. "Nice to meet you too, Lexi. Um...are you an Animagus?"

Lexi quirked an eyebrow at the young lioness and then released her hand. If she threw any type of food on her it would be a bad day. She was sure of that much. Motioning for the girl to have a seat she shook her head.

"No. I wish I was though. That would be awesome. No... this is the cause of a jinx I got whilst duelling a sixth year boy. I haven't worked out the jinx or the counter for it, so here I am. I ran off before Tate could fix them and I really want to learn for myself," she said matter of factly. Was it odd that she wore the antlers and didn't go to an adult to remove them? Perhaps. She wanted to learn though.

What? Did Kurumi have something on her hands? Her expression softening a bit at Lexi's friendly gesture and returned to her seat across the table from the older lioness.

"Is that why you are reading Defense Against the Dark Arts books?" Kurumi asked innocently pointing to the books on Lexi's desk. Kurumi reached for her own notes. "The only spell I know that erases previous spell's effects is Deletrius, but I don't think that will help you and it seems like rather advance magic," Kurumi said very matter of factly. "Or...there is always Diffindo to just, um, sever them from your head..." That didn't sound like a good idea though.

"Not the only reason, no. I need to brush up on my duelling skills. What better place to look than in DADA texts? And Deletrius won't work. There is a counter... I need to find it. I don't think I want to go to the boy who did this just yet," she said with a little gulp.

Then the girl said something that caused Lex to GAPE at her. Putting her hands up over her antlers she shook her head. "No! And risk cutting my hair and hurting myself. No way," she said in a shocked manner.

Kurumi scratched her head trying to think of a spell that could help her. It seemed like the perfect way to make up for attacking her with cookie dough. "You could, um, try shrinking them for now," Kurumi suggested meakly. "It must be hard getting through doors right now."

No cutting that way and there was no way that her locks could be chopped off. Her head might shrink though...

"I would be afraid that it would shrink other, more vital, things if I tried. I suppose I am going to have to go to the guy and get him to teach the counter to me," she said rather morosely. Stupid Jim Wilkes and his stupid antler casting self. She was going to figure out how to give him a bloody tail before the term ended. That was her goal. Or perhaps he could have a cute little button nose. Jim Wilkes with a bunny rabbit nose? Lovely.

"Improved my balance actually. Isn't too hard to get around, honestly. I am more peeved by the situation than anything. It is not a hinderance," she said bitterly. She just couldn't figure the counter out.

Kurumi looked up at the antlers again and just stared at them. Really? They weren't a hindrance? How did she sleep at night? Didn't those things, um, poke holes into the pillows or something? Lexi could really use some cookies and Kurumi was wishing that she had some to give her.

Kurumi looked at Lexi and frowned a bit before getting up and giving her a small second year hug. "You've...hand a rough time, haven't you?"

Lexi watched the girl's eyes rise up to the antlers and she scratched the area in between them on her head. Smiling as the girl got up and gave her a hug. Awwww. What a sweet kid! Lexi put her arms around the girl and gave her a quick squeeze. "You have no idea, kiddo. No idea," Lexi said in a rather constricted voice. Yeah her life was a rough time.

Adam had slightly eavesdropped on Lexi's and Kurumi's conversation. Then he had heard Kurumi stutter the word crush.
"You have a crush on Salander- that 5th year Slytherin?"Adam asked outraged, but it sounded more like he was accusing her.

Kurumi turned to Adam with her eyes full of hurt. "So, are you saying that you are allowed to like three maybe four girls at once, but I can't admire an older student who saved me from getting eaten by an Acromantula?" Kurumi responded in an equally accusing tone. It wasn't like she had tried to act on any of her confused emotions and the only times she ever saw the 5th year was when they were in classes together.

Raven back at Gryffindor common room, he found Kurumi in the Study Table, "Hello, Kurumi, how's lesson?"

Kurumi turned her head from her rather tense moment with Adam to see the innocent and, unfortunately, poorly timed appearance of Raven. Although, perhaps he came at a good time to be a sort of distraction?

"Oh, um, hey Raven," she smiled nervously glancing back and forth between the two boys. "It's going...OK?" She wasn't really sure herself at the moment.

Raven reluctantly going to Kurumi, he saw a boy, in conversation with Kurumi, Raven play, he get going toward the study table. "Err, Hello again to both of you" Raven start saying, "Kurumi, will you teach me the scurgefy (Scourgify) thing and the incendio (Incendio) thing please" Raven pleaded, he never know if he pronounced the word correctly

Kurumi's nervous expression softened at Raven's request. "I'd love to," she smiled not really wanting to correct him on his pronunciation of Scourgify at the moment. "Those two are especially useful in Potions class. I can't help you in here, might burn the place down, but we can find some time and and Professor Descoteaux if we can practice in the Charms Practice Hall if you'd like." She didn't want to get him into trouble. She would be a terrible Gryffindor big sister if she did that.

Raven smile to Kurumi willingness to help him, "Yeah, I saw you perform those spell in potion classes, while I'll do the muggle ways, thanks in advance" Raven said
"Shall we go then to charm classroom to practice", Raven ask, he look to Adam "how about he" Raven grin

Adam grasped for some words but nothing came out.He tried to make a apologetic look but couldn't he hadn't known. It's just he heard that Salander kid was quite popular and well, Adam wasn't. What if Kurumi wanted the higher grander life, with more interesting funny people to chat and listen to.
"I...I..I I...I ...I..I love you?"

Kurumi felt like the chair and floor beneath her had vanished and she was falling...or maybe she was floating...of to some distant land where houses were made out of cookies and all the animals could talk and share philosophical conversation with you. Her expression softened, but her eyes remained intensly locked on Adam's. Had he just said the "L" word? It certainly had been a hude discussion topic last term with a certain stalking Slytherin, but Kurumi had not given it much thought as of late. Yet, now, here it was staring her right in the face and she had no idea how to react.

Wait, was he asking or saying it to her? The way he had trailed off at the end certainly made it seem like he was unsure himself. After all, could a 13-year-old and a 12-year-old really understand the weight of those words. The two of them hadn't even kissed besides a soft touch on the cheek.

Kurumi felt both lost and wonderful at the same time. Still, she had no idea what to say back. She wasn't even sure what love felt like...instead, she just stared at Adam with her violet eyes and smiled shyly. Her hair was probably changing colors a bit now, but what color it was turning was a complete mystery to her because she only saw Adam in this moment.

Adam himself, was not quite sure he had said that.
Last year he had punished Fee and Edmond for saying "I love you" and they had been only a mere 11. Here he was , he 13 and she 12, and he was already saying love to her.
Maybe it was the heat of the moment, finding out that Kurumi may have a crush and he felt well, jealous, obviously, they would have not been in this situation if he weren't jealous.
He flailed his arms to his sides, helpless, hopelessness washing over him like a sink .
Then he turned his back, ashamed at himself- he wasn't sure he meant it.It just "It just plopped out."He said at last.

Kurumi looked down at the table for a moment wondering how best to say, but her mind kept coming up blank. She didn't want to come right out and say that she wasn't sure she had the same feelings, but, judging from his reaction, he wasn't either. "A-A-Adam," she whispered still not sure what she was going to say next. "Y-You don't need to try and impress me or do things you are not ready for...I am not going anywhere."

"I ...But I think I do...I mean...We're too young yes, but I think I do...But my mind isn't sure on it-just my heart...Because my heart belongs to you."He said in a cheesy way.
"I'm I'm not trying to impress you. We both know I don't have the skill to impress anyone...I am just...god damn,I'm like you.I'm lost over all my feelings about you..."

If her hair hadn't turned pink before, it certainly was now. Kurumi had gotten better at being able to control her color changing powers, but those defenses she put up always seemed to come crashing down whenever Adam was concerned. Instead of saying anything, Kurumi just reached across the table and hugged Adam. "Thank you," she whispered simply not knowing what else to say.

Alice skipped into the study room. She noticed that there was a girl with pink hair who was sitting with another guy. They both looked kind of embarassed at the moment, so she went to a table further away as she didn't want to bother anyone,especially when it seemed they were in a awkward moment. She then began absent-mindedly doodling in her notebook wondering as what creature she should dress up for Care of Magical Creatures.

"Heya!" Anna said nicely to the girl. She was sitting alone and looked like a firstie. "Can I sit here?" She smiled. Rule number one in her book was its not okay to frighten the shorties.

"Hi!" said Alice. The girl seemed nice so when she asked if she could sit there Alice beamed at her,nodded:yes: and said "Yeah of course."
