Welcome to the Gryffindor Locker Room. Along the wall, you see lockers to store your school robes during practice or matches. You see loads of magical pictures displaying past Gryffindor players. There is one of Agie Rae and Kerry Brandywine, and Torie Ledger holding the Quidditch Cup. Another one shows Alexis Chosen dodging a Bludger. You see Anna Greingoth performing an outstanding save to protect a Gryffindor lead. A picture of Brant DeVaice, a former captain, is displayed with all the Gryffindor captains from the past years.

Gryffindor colors of scarlet and gold are everywhere. Quidditch equipment and robes are here for the new team to wear and use. There is an entrance to the pitch, too.

Come in, take a seat, and tune up your broom before going to practice or a game.

The locker room and practice pitch is the place where Gryffindor Captain Simon Bennett will hold practices and post announcements. It is not a place for you to RP, unless your captain says that it's okay to RP getting ready for a game or when a game is over.

Only those who are on the Gryffindor Quidditch Team roster are permitted to post in this thread. The only exception to this rule are substitutes approved by the Quidditch Official. House prefects and school staff may also post in this thread when needed.

Carter dove into the locker room and looked around. What was there that could stop a madman and not hurt him... too bad?

Oh. And then he got it. He could just tie him up until he calmed down. Perfect!

Now... where was his wand... He hurried over to his stuff. Just a simple binding spell and a lot of time and this would all be over.

SLAM!

Totally tackling the door with all his rage and fierceness, Josh hurried inside the Gryffindor Locker Room breathing like a bull that was forced to stay in a very red room. He stopped at the door looking around, angry dark brown eyes searching that certain Gryffindor boy.

THERE!

What was he doing? The blond looked like he was looking for something around his belongings. HAH! Nothing was going to save him now because... ''You are dead! You know that?'' Josh said before making his way towards him. ''And i am not going to ask for your last wish for the life''

Running so fast and so soon after getting the wind knocked out wasn't a good idea which Simon learned as he chased after the other two into the locker room. He was coughing again as he stepped into the area, his own hand cluching against his stomach. His eyes clearly showed how upset he was at his friend as he worked to catch his breath.

"Don't you dare Josh..." the sixth year got out as he stood straighter after taking a deep breath, blocking the way. "Theres no way in Merlin's beard I'll let you do that so just stop it! This is nonsense and you know it." Simon remarked stadning his ground. Was Evelyn really worth hurting on friend and trying to kill another?

Carter rushed over to where his clothes where hanging and dug into his pant's pockets looking for his wand. He just need to petrify Josh, figure out how to calm him down, and then take him up to Evelyn.

Nothing to worry about.

Until he busted in again. Simon burst in a few seconds after.

And Carter's wand was still in one of his pockets. After deciding that his pockets were far too deep he retrieved his wand and turned back toward Josh.

"Petrificus Totalus!" he said aiming his wand.

He hoped his wand aim was much better than his after-blocking-a-shot aim.

Josh fought the urge to roll his eyes really hard when he found Simon before him trying to block his way and saving Carter AGAIN. How many times he had to express his feelings about him doing that? Was not that single elbow enough for him? And what he was thinking about telling him not to dare? He was always daring for anything! That was his most obvious trait and Simon just could not act like he did not know that.

''Just step out of my way Simon and this will be done for very soon. You are making it difficult for us.'' And ignoring the rest of his words....wait! Whaa? He was not going to let him. Once he heard this Josh let out a very short, angry and dangerous looking laugh. ''Out my way!'' he repeated and tried to see Carter behind the captain.

And he was there still playing with his clothes, stuff and else. Fool. If Josh had been in his place, he would have tried to run for his life instead of playing with school uniform pants. ''Simon!'' the angry Gryffindor murmured again and this time pushed his friend out his way just a second before the incantation Carter uttered had come his ears.

WHAT?

He stood wide eyed as the spell hit him and he was UNABLE to move! How could he do that?! With hopeless but great effort the boy tried to free himself from the spell but...none of his muscles were helping him with that.

Carter watched as Josh just froze on the spot. He was half tempted to kick the guy over, but refrained.

He then looked to Simon, then back to Josh, then Simon again as if expecting one of them to start yelling at him about how he shouldn't be hexing his teammates.

But it never came. Maybe Simon was just as shocked as Carter was that he did that.

He sat on one of the benches. "So what now?" he asked his captain. He was hoping he had a suggestion on what would calm him down.

"I'm pretty sure we can't take him up to see Evelyn like this." Plus, Carter didn't really want to go up there. He knew Evelyn would not be as forgiving as he hoped Josh would be.

Simon wasn't backing down and got anoither shoove because of it. However he let out a sigh of relief when Josh's action put him right in the way of the other player's spell. "Thank you," he remarked to Carter as his friend froze. At least now they could talk to him and not have a big fight on their hands. "Now we try our best to talk sense," was all he could come up with to answer Carter's valid question. "Yeah he needs to calm down before he's let anywhere near other students." Turning to his friend he thought for a moment on what he should do finally pushing the petrified younger boy against the locker.

"Now THIS is why I seriously considered banning you from today's game," Simon admitted his hands still holding Josh's shoulders against the metal even though he still counldn't move because of the spell. "But Noo... I put my faith in my best friend that he'd be able to keep his head through one match, that his love for quidditch would override everything else. And what does he do in return?" To say the captain was disappointed was an understatement but not just at Josh but at himself for having no luck in getting through to his fellow Gryffindor before now.

'So? I cannot move or speak. What are you going to do?'

As he still stared at Carter with angry eyes, Josh thought he had seen the same angry glint in the other boy's eyes for an instant. He was ready for a punch back, a kick or any kind of attack on him now and he had no problem with it. Only cowards, he thought, would attack a petrified target. However the next moment Josh realised that he was wrong to expect that from him. Instead he was talking about taking him to see Evelyn. Seriously?

'To see your nice handiwork?'

Then he heard Simon's voice too talking about his situation not being suitable to go and see anyone. As if he was going to be able to see her again. They must have been kidding him, were not they? He closed his eyes as the captain pushed him to the locker, feeling his back hitting it. And when he started to speak again, Josh opened his eyes and looked at him.

Considered banning him because of that? Hearing this was about to make the Gryffindor boy angrier yet when he heard his friend's next words, it kinda make the urge stop. And as he got a little bit calmer, he could see that Simon was right...at one point. That he had trusted him and Josh could not keep it. He was really sorry for that. But he had his reasons. Love for Quidditch? Try love for Evelyn! There was no way they could be compared.

Because that Slytherin girl was not only a mere girlfriend, or ex-girlfriend currently, for him. So far he had known her for a couple of years and she was also a friend to him, she was also a sister to him, she was everything to him. Considering that what did they expect him to do? How did they think he would react and should have reacted to what had happened?

The boy kept staring at Simon once he was done speaking then after a minute so he moved his gaze back on Carter. He did not feel happy to be forced to attack a friend of him either. But he just had killed her. The image of her lying there motionless was still in his mind and it was not going to left its place forever. On purpose or not. He had KILLED her. He had taken his soul with it. Now it was like the meaning and purpose of his life gone, how did they expect him to take it?

Now the fact that Evelyn was gone totally vanished his anger and left its place to agony. And as he looked back at Simon's face who seemed completely dissappointed with him, he really tried hard not to let that single tear left his eye.

The last thing he wanted was to be seen weak. Because he was NOT weak.

"You thought about banning him?" Carter asked surprised. He looked at Simon. Had his Captain really thought Josh might go crazy? And he still let Josh play.

Once again Carter just looked between the two of them unsure of what the next move should be.

And best friend. When had that happened? Was he seriously that far out of the loop? And all of a sudden he felt the overwhelming desire to blame it on Marie. Ever since the fallout there he hadn't really hung around Josh too much. Josh was off with Evelyn and that was clearly unwelcoming territory for Carter. But he fought back the urge to blame it on her out loud.

"Listen. I know how you feel." he said looking over to Josh. Sure, he didn't know exactly how he felt. He'd never had a girlfriend so seriously injured before. He did freak out though the time Marie split her lip open though...

"Evelyn will be fine. Remember a few terms ago when I fell?" he asked. "I'm fine now." At least, he was pretty sure he was fine. Unless he lost some brain cells or something. But if he did, he couldn't tell the difference.

He wasn't sure what else he could say. He wasn't sure whether he should apologize again or whether he should say he did it on purpose (which he didn't). Maybe Josh was just one of those guys who needed someone to blame when something went wrong.

And if that was the case... well, Carter was okay with that. After all, how long could it possibly take to fix her? A few minutes maybe? Who knows, by now she was probably feeling better...

Which reminded him, Josh wasn't the only problem at the moment. He'd have to figure out a way to keep Evelyn, Marie, and Destiny from killing him.

What did she-snakes like anyway...? For some reason chocolate was the only thing coming to mind. And really, it was Destiny that liked chocolate.

"What do you think?" he said looking up at Simon.

"Maybe we should just take him up to the Hospital Wing like this." he suggested with a little chuckle. At least that way he wouldn't be freaking out to Evelyn. Which, maybe she'd appreciate...

"For a little while," Simon admitted as he stepped back, looking to Carter as he seemed incredulus about his decision. "But it wasn't like they were directly against each other," he added before looking back to Josh and continuing. "But I took a chance and trusted him"

The sixth year went quiet letting Carter speak, nodding occasionally in understanding and agreement to the other boy's words. He himself was trying his best to think of more words or actions to work this whole situation to a managable conclusion.

"Now its time for you to trust me. " the captain replied speaking up once more staring his friend down slightly. "Carter's right...Evelyn will be ok. The game wouldn't have continued if she hadn't been.....I would have fought that. Or did you not notice me down on the field with Aaron, Vindictus and the healer looking after Evelyn?"

He had gotten his chance to be up close to the injured girl as she had been passed by the group on the way to the hospital wing. Sure she had been unconscious but with what had happened that was to be expected. It had also been a quaffle not a bludger and a bounce off not a direct hit like from a beater so it was even a little gentlier. SImon then made a decision to trust Josh once more, his own wand out this time as his other hand pressing Josh close to the lockers again. "Now I'm going to free you but you need to stay calm. If you can manage that we'll take you up to the hospital wing. If not we wait until you do," he instructed the captured player. He hoped the desire to see Evelyn would take control and he would behave.

"Finite..." he cast finally dropping Carter's spell.

Now directly looking down at the floor instead of the faces of his friends for some certain reasons, Josh only listened to their words though his mind was mostly focused on Evelyn and that she was no more. So while the two Gryffindors exchanged those words about him being banned from the match or probably from all Slytherin matches, the boy was thinking what he was going to do now. That how he was going to carry on his life, perhaps lonely forever he could all dedicate himself to the job he was going to do or maybe even classes so at least his mother would be happy about it.

Yet when he heard Carter explaining him that Evelyn was going to be fine, the lion boy looked up at him for one second with empty, emotionless dark brown eyes before staring down at the floor and Simon's feet again. That was a very weak attempt to relieve him or to calm him down. Yet, he tried and that was something good, was not it? He had punched him after all and he was still being good to him so Josh thought he had to appreciate that effort. Gah. Now he wanted to kick or/and break something. Not Carter though nor anyone else, just something.

And Simon was talking to him again...was he asking him to trust him? Why was Josh feeling like he had no one to trust now though he knew Simon? Maybe it was because Lafay had burned his gifts, then this had happened and then he heard that Si had thought of banning him. Or he just thought he himself did not deserve the captain's trustworthyness since he had failed to act for his. Yet on the other hand what he was saying sounded really reasonable. People would not have continued the game or would not have celebrated the win if she were dead...gone, would they? Then probably Carter was right with his words as well.

Feeling the relief of this some, this time he looked up at his teammates and blinked a couple of times in confusion. Emotions and thoughs were all mixed in him. He did not know what to believe or how to fell so he just stared at the other two boys rather blankly. This look turned into a little bit of a surprised one when Simon said he was going to free him. Now he trusted him again though he had proved his unpredictable status? It looked like he did.

When the captain freed him from the body-binding curse, Josh took a deep breath and nodded as a thanks to him right before staring at Carter.

''Does it hurt?''

"What? Falling off a broom? It hurts like crazy." Carter said assuming they were talking about Evelyn. "But she'll be fine. Healers are good like that." he said calmly. He hoped admitting that it hurt wouldn't spark another rage from Josh.

And then he realized what he was asking. Oh, right. He'd been punched. He had nearly forgotten about that. He felt the base of his nose with the side of his hand.

Bad idea. It was broken... and wet. He forgot about stopping the blood too. He winced slightly as he used the sleeve of his quidditch robes to wipe his face.

"It's nothing that hasn't happened before." he said.

Which was true, playing sports, especially quidditch lead to a bunch of broken bones.

The captain raised an eyebrow as Josh looked surprise that he was going to release him. There was no point in trying to get an answer on whether or not he would behave if he couldn't move at all including talk. Simon released his hold on Josh once the younger Gryffindor proved he wasn't going to go crazy again and go after him or Carter. It really would have been stupid seeing as he and Carter had both had a chance to get their wands so it was two against one if need be. Instead Josh turned to the other boy, asking if it hurt figuring at first he asked about being hit but as the keeper answered to btoh degrees, the captain remembered he had been hurt as well AFTER the game.

"Yeah I think I need to get you both to the hospital wing," Simon remarked conjuring a cloth for his injured teammate and handing it to him to clean up. Taking a chance he then wrapped an arm around both of their shoulders to lead them out. "Come we go and the rest of the team can change back," he added feeling the other four members of the team had been skeptical of the safety of following the trio inside. The captain leading his teammembers and at this point...charges out of the locker room.
