As soon as he sat down, things had gotten massively busy. There wasn't much time to respond to one of his friends or the other, given all the grand entrances everyone was making. He had to smile at them as he sat quietly beside Lexi. They really were a great bunch. A wonderful family. Just sitting there, listening to the bickering, listening to the laughter and good cheer; it was enough to remember the good times. It was the last good memory he needed to make this as painful as all else, but at the same time peaceful.
His eyes went to Kurumi, one arm reaching out to give the sweet Gryffindor a gentle hug in thanks for her congratulations. He would have spared Legend a retort for his loudness, Simon a smile for his undying graciousness, Joshua a playful jab for his strange greeting, and Lexi a reassuring smile, but Patroclus' mini speech had him frozen on the spot, just blinking.
It took him a moment to figure out how exactly to respond, or what exact emotions were stirred up from the Prefect's words, but a slow smile crept onto his expression. "You bestow too much flattery Patroclus."
Glancing about the little grouping that had gathered, he pursed his lips in thought. "What am I going to do in that 'big wide world'? Well, I think for starters, a group hug is in order." And yes, that meant everyone, and he spread his arms out for anyone who wanted to share the sentiment. "For our Lion family."

Anyways theres enough candy to last the entire train ride in here" she smiled pulling the bag that she'd made for Kurumi and handing it to her smiling. She was absolutely a sweetheart and Kyle thought that was an undeniable thing.
Then turning she spotted Simon - ooh that just reminded her of face planting infront of him she still smiled. "I hope you all enjoy" she smiled. Wait she'd already said that, and that made her blush even more her distractedness that is. Everyone's name was glistening on the little baggy. The gryffindor's bags were Red with gold writing.
She looked down to the fortune in her hand and smiled. Life is not a mystery to be solved but a reality to be experienced. It was simple, nice, and well to her experience in life so far - true. Her lucky numbers were 03, 69, 02, 77, and 75. She had no idea what it meant but it made her laugh.
She then braved the odds, and looked over to Simon, "Hope you had an -er- fun term and well hopefully your summer is good!" Oh why was she nervous? " Kyle, I have graduated" Rex called out. " See you in the train" Rex told Kyle. Quote:

Lexi had been looking around, half listening to all of the conversations. You could always count on the Lions to divert attention when in large groups. Always. Heh.
She really wanted avoid such things as goodbyes, but they were inevitable. Leaning into Sabel a little bit she sighed. "I wish you wouldn't talk about leaving. I KNOW that you are... and I know that I will have to accept it, but... Seeing you at King's Cross for the last time getting off that train, that'll be bad enough," she said in a tone only he could hear.
See. She didn't have to be happy about it at all. She would wallow in her pity. WALLOW.

Tori entered the great hall and headed to the Gryffindor table. It was a quiet and low key year for her. She sat down among her pairs, her heart saddened that she would be moving to another wizarding school. She would no longer be coming through the doors of Hogwarts. Her mother was sending her to Spain to live with her Aunt and Uncle from her father's side. They had written to Tori's mother when her father died and said they wanted to over see her wizarding education. So, her mother finally decided to send her.
She would have to say goodbye to not only her friends but also to Hogwarts for good.

Snuggling a little closer to Lexi, Kurumi smiled up at the girl.

Pulling her box of fortune cookies close to her, she looked in and found the special cookie she had made for Adam.

He gave Kurumi a gentle smile and a small squeeze about the shoulders. "I'm sure we'll run into each other again." Or at least, that was what he would tell himself to make things easier. And if it didn't happen by chance, then he was all set and ready to make it happen himself.
And then it was Lexi's turn for hugs and he held her close as Kurumi went back to her box of cookies. "Well...why don't we not talk about that then?" They could avoid it for one evening, couldn't they? Hopefully. Possibly. Maybe. Cue hopeful blink at Lexi? A small smile to try and get her to smile. Smile please?

Lexi put an arm around Kurumi and then shrugged her shoulders at Sabel. "Sure. We'll avoid it, then," she said simply. She would just sit and think about it, because that was all this stupid feast was making her think about. The end. Fun Times.
She cast a glance around, toward the Slytherin table. She was pretty sure she could see SAlander over there. Eh. She wasn't going to THAT table though. She much preferred her own. Surely he would make his way over eventually. Maybe he could cheer her up a bit.
Lexi then grabbed the other half of her cookie and nibbled at it a little. "These are really good, Kurumi." Sighs. She would be leaving Hogwarts sooner than she liked to think about... Like she would be a Sixth Year next term. It was getting closer and closer.

Those words stung too. They were the same words that her and Adam had said to each other in the broom cupboard a couple weeks back. Back then, they still were holding onto an unseen hope. Now, that hope had vanished in a thick mist.
Kurumi bowed her head for a moment feeling a wave of emotion about to overtake her...and would have if it had not been for Lexi's arm being wrapped around her shoulders.
"Thank you," she chirped watching her nibble on the cookie.
She then looked over at the staff table and wondered what sort of end of the year speech would be given.

Elyon wandered down to the Great Hall ready for the end of the term feast. She was alone as usual, happily murmuring things to herslef about Crumple-Horned Snorcacks. She sat down by herslef smiling att all of the people around her. She didn't have any friends to say good-bye to, but she did feel very sad for al of the crying ones around her. No one deserved to cry. It was just heart breaking.
She began to wonder whether or not she herslef would return to Hogwarts next year. Yes, it was her home, and she would dearly miss it. But as her mum was going to ship her brother and her off to an orphanage the minute their father passed, she had no choice. She hoped she would be able to return next year. Elyon dearly hoped so, even if she did only have three to five friends at the most. One being her brother, and the other four barely ever speaking to her.
She continued to smiley dreamily into her pumpkin juice, thinking about how nice house elves were.

This kid was really aces. REALLY. " You're welcome. Hey you should try to come to Diagon Alley and have tea with me or something... or I can help you with your shopping before start of term... I mean if you want to," Lexi said.
Why was conversation so awkward and such tonight? It was really getting to her that she couldn't seem to feel or BE normal. Perhaps she should just excuse herself and go hide in the loo until it was time to head out to the train. That was a fabulous idea...
She cast a glance around and decided that she would indeed skip out soonish.

A friend of mine works there. We can go. And the same with the sweets shop they have fun Muggle stuff and Wizard stuff as well. It'll be fun we can make a day out of it. My treat on the sweet stuff," Lexi promised her.
