Elyon looked back up, smiling weakly. "Yeah. I understand. I would've been curious too. Some parents are more..... understanding than others." She felt a bit better, but not by much. She smiled even more. "Yeah. You're right. I did stand up to her! We all did, really." She was starting to feel even better than before. "I hope you don't mind if I ask, but how did you convince your parents to let you come here?" She hoped she didn't offend him by asking, but she was curious to hear his story, without a dad or sibling to back him up. He must've been really brave to stand up to his parents like that.

Evangeline finally made her way over to the Gryffindor table. She'd never been over to the Gryffindor table before, obviously, and she might even find someone she knew over here to talk to. Glancing at the table, she saw the Gryffindor that she knew. Braeden. She had been feeling a little bored, so this ought to be fun.

Sitting down in an empty seat beside the boy, she smiled. "Hello, Braeden."

"My brother will attend when I'm a fifth year and I'll have already graduated by the time she attends."

"Is it fun being an only child?" She asked as she was eating a treacle tart.

Braeden, too busy stuffing his face, didn't notice as Evangeline made her way to his side of the table and took a seat beside him. It wasn't until her voice greeted him that the boy realized her presence, and in consequence nearly fell off his seat.

"Hollywood!" He coughed, choking on the pumpkin juice he had just been about to drink at that moment. Wide-eyed, he turned sharply to the newcomer, his features startled before a large, bright smile replaced that expression. "You're really good at that secret detective thing, you know? Sneaking up on people like that..." he muttered, shaking his head slightly with amusement.

She watched with amusement as he nearly fell off of his seat and choked on his pumpkin juice. "Well yes, I am. That or you were just far to busy stuffing your face full of food to notice anything else going on around you." Evangeline smiled.

"So I guess you were right, Brae. I'm in Slytherin."

Adam laughed at himself. He had always told Kurumi he had forced his parents to take him to Hogwarts, in fact he had traveled on his own.But the whole force them into it, wasn't a very nice picture to describe.
"I forced them...But it wasn't like arguements....I went to Diagon Alley and got my wand, when back home soon after....I, um...I I threatened my parents to let me go..."He said in a whisper. If Kurumi caught word of this she'd be extremely disappointed in his behavior towards his mum and dad.

"NIt has it's up and downs.You don't get bothered, you got all the attention and it's more peaceful at home. But I sure wish I had a brother it can get lonely at times, and I have a very troubled life with my parents and I have no one to discuss things with no one to share anything with..."He explained with a shrug.

Braeden's dark eyebrows rose and his jaw dropped as Evangeline so very bluntly observed the fact that he had been 'stuffing' his face. "And here I thought that using a knife and a fork was making me look a little less like a wild animal," he said with a soft chuckle before taking a sip from his pumpkin juice. Without choking this time.

Oh yeah, Hollywood was a snake now, wasn't she? Had he really predicted that? His brows furrowed slightly as he tried to remember; leave it up to Braeden to forget anything that might have happened longer than twenty-four hours ago. Oh well, if Eva was telling him he was right, he might as well take it, no? "Told you I had supernatural powers," said Braeden matter-of-factly, looking quite smug. Oh yes; he was quite the little genius. He should start a business of predicting people's Houses; along with the line of torn-apart clothing he had been plotting about with Melanie.

"How do you like being a snake so far?" Braeden asked her.

Satine ventured over to the sea of Red with her big purple bag over her shoulder avoiding the many lost and wide-eyed firsties along the way. When she finally made it over there, she put on her best sparkling smile and reach into her bag pulling out a ziplock full of red and yellow licorice wands...yes, of course, licorice wands...they were after all her fave...

She quickly said,

"Howzit, I'm Satine, sixth year Ravvie and I come bearing gifts...Anyone want a licorice wand and a new acquiantance?" she said with a little giggle.

"I feel the same my brother is six and my sister is two so I have nobody to talk to when I'm feeling down or when I just want to vent out my feelings." She said feeling the same way as him.

"I usually write down all my feeling in my journal and meditate to feel better. You should try it sometimes. I really does wonders." Lei said as she thought back to the times when she was feeling alone and meditated to feel better.

"Really...Really now?"Adam felt like he could slightly tease her.
"Write in a journal...You know how unmanly that is. Last year I put on the image that I am a rough softie...Now you want that image of me to be ruined...Just so I can express myself...The manly way is to keep it all bottled up..."He said in a stern voice, slightly loud.

Christina looked akwardly at the students sitting around her at the Gryffindor table, wanting to say something to someone, anyone, but too afraid to even try. One of the students sitting near her caught her staring (completely by accident of course), so she looked down quickly at her plate and started loading it with random food to make herself look busy.

"I'm afraid not." Evangeline said, smirking. "You know, there is such thing as eating at a normal pace, because you have all night to eat as much food as you like, and then you won't look like a wild beast." She pointed out.

"Oh, of course you do." She said, her voice laced with sarcasm. "You know what? Maybe you should take over for the sorting hat. You're just that talented." Eva said, rolling her eyes.

"I'm rather liking it, actually. And how are you finding Gryffindor?"

"Fine, keep it bottled up." Lei said in a teasing tone.

"So, what is there to do around here when class isn't in session?" She asked wondering what was there to do for fun.

"I usually visit the grounds and talk with my friends."He told her.

"I was only teasing...My hand writing is really bad- but I do talk to Kurumi about a lot of stuff"He said to her.

"Thank you very much for that wise piece of advice, Hollywood, I will most certainly keep it in mind at breakfast time tomorrow morning," said Braeden with playful formality as Eva suggested he eat more slowly. Though he couldn't deny she had a point - he could eat all the food he wanted. There was no rush.

"I think I should," Brae agreed to her following suggestion with a grin. Surely the headmaster would let him do it, right? Yeah... maybe not. "I don't think the headmaster would be too eager to break a hundreds-year-old tradition, though. You've gotta admit that hat has a pretty strong fan base," muttered Brae, making a bit of a face. Stupid hat and its popularity. It wasn't Brae's fault he wasn't hundreds of years old too!

How was he finding Gryffindor? Hmm. "Very... red... and gold," said Braeden in response to Eva's question, his dark brown eyes looking up at the enchanted ceiling absentmindedly before turning back to her with a smile. "It's great; I can't not be proud of my House. But for some reason I've found it easier to associate with the other Houses," he added a little more honestly and thoughtfully, shrugging his shoulders.

I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts dodododo. The song was stuck in Legend's head. And there wasn't even any coconuts on the table! Just plates with other stuff, the usually at the opening feast. Legend had to focus on more important things, things like wondering if the sorting always been that boring? He swore it was more interesting during his first and second year. Soon enough though it finished and Legend zoomed in on what was going on at the staff table. Was Vindictus about to kick that new guys butt? He would ask him but, that would probably lead to losing points.

But it Vindictus and that new guy went at it who would win?

Hm.

The new guy looked pretty big.

"Oh, really? In my house I'd have my mouth washed out with soap," Selina laughed. She saw Kurumi looking up at the table sadly.

"What's the matter?"

Adam saw a fellow older Gryffindor looking out to the distance, with a look in his eyes, and then the boy looked up to the staff table. Maybe he was in trouble and hoped the teacher would not see him.

"Hi. Adam Burn at your service."Adam said arms outstretched.

"It's common sense, really." Which Braeden didn't seem to have all that much of. "Just curious. Any reason I'm called Hollywood, now?" Unless it was just the fact that she was from America, of course.

"Well, the hundred old tradition is, of course the only reason the headmaster wouldn't allow you to replace it's job." It wasn't like Braeden wouldn't be able to tell anyone's house because he had no talent at all. No, of course not.

She laughed. "Red and gold? Well, that's rather an apt description." She said. "Well, that's probably because we're just better than your house." Evangeline teased him.

Glancing around her, Eva saw a guy around her age looking rather bored. "Hey," she said. "You look like you're having fun." Sarcasm. "I'm Evangeline," she said grabbing some bread at putting it on her plate.

Selina turned away from Kurumi momentarily to comment to Adam, "Always the first to introduce yourself to people, eh Adam?" It was true. He and Kurumi had to have introduced and talked to every person at the Gryffindor table. They were social butterflies.

"Well, because you're a famous actress, of course!" Braeden replied. He had thought the nickname was obvious enough, but apparently not. Wait - she was a famous actress, wasn't she? He couldn't quite remember how that first conversation with her had ended.

Well, famous actress or not, he planned to keep the nickname. He liked it too much to take it away now.

Braeden merely shrugged as Hollywood pointed out that he might not be able to take over the hat's job before she went on to add that... what? Slytherin? The better House?! Braeden gave a very sarcastic, robotic laugh.

"I'm sorry, Hollywood, but I can't agree with you there," he said with raised eyebrows. "Slytherin's great, I won't deny, but... 'better'? I think that's just taking it too far," he disagreed, shaking his head slightly.

Ah, of course. How could she have forgotten. Unlike him, she remembered that conversation well. He had thought she was an actress, and then a death eater, then a spy. She decided not to bring any of that up, and let him think that she was an actress. Because it might just confuse him too much. Besides, she didn't really mind him calling her Hollywood.

"Braeden, you simply in denial. But face it, you know that I'm right. Why else would you not be friends with any Gryffindors, yet you're friends with me. I'm just really awesome, you see. Though you won't admit it, you know that, and you know that Slytherin is better." Smirk.

Braeden's jaw fell to his plate and his eyebrows rose high enough to disappear into his hairline.

"You're not very modest, are you, Hollywood?" he asked in disbelief, and whether he was joking or being serious was hard to tell. "I had you all wrong! I see your true light now!" he continued dramatically. You'd think he had just discovered Eva was a Death Eater or something.

"Though I can't deny you're pretty... 'awesome'. But I don't think that makes your whole House 'awesome'. At least not more 'awesome' than Gryffindor," added the boy matter-of-factly.

"Well you know me..."Adam said slightly punching her elbow."I don't like seeing people sitting lonely by themselves, Hogwarts is a great place to make friends...Like you- though we met at Diagon Alley..."He told her, patting her head again.

Huh? Oh some dude was talking to him! Tearing his eyes away from the Professor drama, Legend looked up at the guy and smiled. "Legend Chosen, nice to meet you Adam." He hadn't seem him before! But he looked younger so that made sense duh. "Are you new to Hogwarts by any chance?"


"Course I'm having fun, loads." The blonde said right before letting out a wide yawn. "Alright...not really alot." Yeah no point in lying right? Now unlike the other boy, Legend was sure he had seen this girl before! Right? "The name's Legend." Evangeline was like French. Interesting. "Are you by any chance French or did your parents just like the name?"
