Okay good...he hadn't forgotten her name unlike Nathan. At least she would hope he hadn't considering how much they had talked. "I'm officially a Snake", she smiled, super duper excited because she had wanted to get into that house soooo much! "And you're a lion I see," she added, looking at the kids wearing red and gold at this table. Gryffindor was her second choice.

"Oh sure," she replied, accepting the offer of something to drink. Cause wow she really needed the water right now. Ugh...she felt so fat from all the food she had stuffed in her mouth. Even though tomorrow was the first official day of classes, she felt she should jog to burn all the calories.

Selina gulped, "Well that is encouraging. I'm terrible at potions. My Mom was top of her class back in the day, so this summer she prepped some 'classes' for me without a wand of course. And potions was terrible. Dear god, I am going to fail."

That was the last things she needed was a "Dragon Lady" on her tail. Althoug she had to admit that the nickname was very funny. Poor lady probably deserved it.

"How about the DADA teacher? Is he any nice?"

"I don't know. To be honest...I never attended that class once...Though it is my favorite.I promise if I make it o the team this year, I will attend the classes more because you have to stay on top of our studies..."He told her.

He had always been fascinated by how to defend himself with his wand, but he never found the encouragement to go. Adam needed a little push when it came to school work.

Alex noticed a girl watching him for a slight second, he wondered briefly if she thought he was invading the Lion business when he sat there. The best way to find out was to introduce himself. He got up and walked over to her, you look at me and I'll look back at you. "Hello." she smiled. "I'm Alex, mind some company?"

"I am not too sure about what I want to do... I know I want to work in the ministry! but Im not sure in what department." she confessed. "and wow you want to join the army. Thats awesome." she said while thinking he would be away alot in the army but she wanted to date this boy, and let it see where it took them. Even though they aren't dating yet she was really hopeful that he would ask her out. Lea started to blush at the thought.

Elyon raised an eyebrow. "Why don't you go to class?" That was rather odd..... "Do witches and wizards have the same animals as muggles, like dogs, and fish? Do they have other magical creatures as pets too?" Elyon had never seen any magical creatures, but she'd read all about them. Coming from a muggle world, she felt that didn't know much about anything.

She looked worried when she heard about about the potions teacher making a girl loose all her bones was. He said her name was Kurumi.... she'd never heard of her. The worried look faded off her face as she started laughing. Dragon Lady was a good name for a scary teacher. "Dragon Lady. Potions. Scary. Got it. I'll make not of that." She grinned, imagining a dragon teaching potions.

''Good,you should hang out with Gryffindors. Trust me,we are amazing friends.Like me huh?''she laughed and winked. ''Oh can't agree with you more! I am so excited to see all of my friends. And for the lessons,ohh what can ya do? Might be better this year.'''she said. Maybe the lessons will be more interestring this year. Doubt that.''Oh that's awesome,you should defo go for that. I might try for chaser,but i am not hoping for anything. Seriously. Cause i think there are people that are way better than me.I mean,there are,but just ''she said a bit dissapointed. ''Oh what can you do.......What do you wanna eat? There are so many kinds of food i can't decide,so i am asking you!''she said and smiled. Oh boy,so much food,and she is so small,so petite,and she gets full very fast,so that's why she is picky about food.Yummmmmm!!!!!!

"Never once? Well, I guess classes can be painfully boring. But my Mom told me if she found I skipped out on any of my classes she would have my head. And you'll be fine." Selina encouraged. If anyone could handle their classes it was Adam.

After she finished her small explanation she reached for some ham that was right in front of her. She had to admit she had never seen so much food in her life. The poor house elves must have been preparing all morning.

"Aah, a Slytherin," Elliott said, then nodded as she stated he was a lion. "Mhmm. I suppose that makes us rivals, doesn't it?" According to the history of Hogwarts. She seemed to be happy about her placement, and he certainly was with his. His sister had gotten Ravenclaw, so he just needed to meet a Hufflepuff now.

He poured some water into one of the goblets and slid it in front of her. "So, how are you liking Hogwarts, then? I think the food passes muster," he noted with a smile. So, it looked like her brother had been right about it being yummy, huh?

Sophia smiled at him. "Hi." she said, in her famous Italian accent. "I am Sophia, not at all." she said, gesturing for him to sit down. "What year are you?" she asked him, tilting her head slightly. "I am a second year Gryffie." she said, happily. She could tell he was a Slytherin by his robes, but she didn't care. It would be nice to have some friends who aren't Gryffindors.

"Well that is what Hogwarts is for. To figure out what to do later in life." *He smiled glad that he was still talking to this girl. She seemed easy to talk to. Turning to look at her he saw that she had turned a little red.*
"Are you alright? Or are the peas getting to you?"

Elyon listened carefully as they talked about skipping class. Why would they do that? She loved to learn and would go to any class she could, or read anything she could get her hands on. She'd even already read most of her text books, twice! She didn't say anything, but just put more salad on her plate instead.

"I don't have the drive to go to class...I don't know but like I've been saying I'm gonna try to go more this year.Witches and Wizards do have dogs, cats, and fishes, but also owld, hippogriffes-eagle horse like animal that can fly,skrewts- those are nasty little buggers...WOW...Being around Kurumi I learn through her..."Adam said amazed. He never imagined himself being the one explaining some wizard stuff.

"My parents don't care what I do at this school. As long as I don't come back home in the summer all loopy- they're fine with it..."Adam explained, then he noticed Selina dive into some ham."Slow your chewing down.Don't choke on me"he told her.

Hmm, Gryffindor. Ellie had never, ever, had Gryffindor friends. And it wasn't some sort of prejudice thing at all. Just for some reason, she'd never become friends with anyone in Gryffindor. Never too late to start, right? She wandered down the side of table, looking for a friendly face. No Gryffindor friends? That was about to change.

"It's a deal," Kurumi winked. "I have a few friends who are trying out for the team this year. I..." Kurumi's cheeks blushed like they were on fire. "...I've never seen or played Qudditch before, unless you count last year's flying lesson." She took a peek up at Simon. So many people in the wizarding world looked like they were going to drop over dead from shock whenever she told them this. "Simon, why do you like Quidditch?" She didn't mean that in a bad way or disconcerting way, she was just rather curious as to why the entire wizarding world seemed obsessed with the sport.


"Heather!" Kurumi called from her seat at the table. Wait, why was she sitting?! Kurumi jumped to her feet and ran over to Heather and threw her arms around her. "It's been too long?! How are you? How is Mr. Panda?" Then her eyes fell on Heather's camera. Her super amazing moving picture camera. They were going to have to take lots and lots and lots and lots of pictures this term as well. Kurumi still had the picture of them after they had eaten Canary Creams last year.

"Oh, I may have been," Kurumi said searching her memory again. There had been so many people in the compartment though. "It was rather crowded, so I may not have gotten the chance to talk with her." Then she was blushing again as the conversation turned to complimenting her cookies. "T-T-Thank you, I r-r-r-really enjoy baking." She smiled, but had to look down at the floor to control her blushing and any potential hair color changes that may be happening. After a quick inspection of the tips, she found that her hair was still black. So far so good. "That would explain why I never saw you," she nodded. Oh? Wanting to be more social? Kurumi knew just what to do. "Well, Christopher, if it is friends you need, I know a Gryffindor guy who could really use some more guy friends. Of course, you are free to talk to me anytime. I spend a lot of time reading in the common room."


Then another familiar face made their appearance at the Gryffindor table. "Sohpia! Sohpia!" Kurumi said waving her arms. She pointed up to the dancing parade of Gryffindor cookie shields. "I baked cookies again!" Kurumi was looking forward to their morning coffee and cookies this term.


"Congratulations on making it in Gryffindor," Kurumi smiled nodding in approval of her new scarlet and gold additions to her robes. "Somehow, I knew you would."

"My summer was fine, but the best part was having Adam visit - I think I already told you that. I was ready to go back to London though. My father couldn't take me this year, said he had something very serious to do with work and he took two of my brothers with him...mother looked worried, but she always does..." Kurumi had to admit that she was worried herself. Her hand reached for her robe pocket where she still had the strange Quibbler from the train.


"I am glad to know that I am not the only one who likes the pumpkin juice," Kurumi giggled. She was going to have to ask the House Elves about the recipe since her attempt over the summer had not faired well. "I wonder how they make it..." she said aloud.

"Oh I am quite alright.. just thinking about the future" she said while turning more red. "I wonder where Riley is, He seems to be hiding away. I haven't seen him since the train." she said while starting to feel worried.

Once Adam had mentioned choking on her food Selina started to cough on the ham. She slammed her fist hard against her chest until finally she swallowed hard. Reaching for her water she felt extremely winded.

"If you didn't say that I would not have choked," Selina joked weakly. She could not believe that she had just choked on her first meal in the Great Hall. That was really smooth, Selina. Real smooth.

Gulping down on her water she sat back and let out a sigh. Her chest was starting to cool down now. Maybe she should avoid the ham for the rest of the feast.

"You should deffinately go to class more often, think of how much you could learn! You could know even more than just what Kurumi, or whoever that is, tells you!" Elyon smiled encouragingly. She always tried help people learn. She was just that geeky. "Wow, really? Hippogriffs and skrewts, I've read about those. They seem truely amazing." She was truely intrigued by anything in the wizarding world, she felt like she'd missed out on so much! "My mum doesn't really talk to me anymore...... but my dad and my brother are always encouraging me to get as good of grades as I can and learn a lot." She smiled sadly at the thought of her mum. At least she still had Dad.

Hmm, for some reason, The Gryffindor table didn't seem very welcoming today. She shrugged and was about to get up when she noticed another girl come up and decided to greet her. "Hello." she said smiling up at the girl. She noticed that the girl was wearing Ravenclaw robes, and wondered if her yellow ones were sticking out like a sore thumb.

*He had a feeling that was not the reason for her blush but pushed it aside anyway.*
"If he hasn't turned up by the end of the feast I'll help you look for him. I know how to get around the castle very well. No need to worry though. I'm sure he is doing just fine."
*Filling up his plate again he tucked into seconds.*
"What do you think of our food here at Hogwarts?"

"Thanks for the congratulations. I'm just ready to start the term, you know?" Selina said as she played with hershirt and necklace that lay a top of the collar. Somehow whenever she was embarrassed she would reach for her Star of David. And Kurumi was being very praiseful about her recent sorting so her fingers were nervously entwined with the necklace.

Trying to play off the praise as no big deal Selina continued, "That sounds great..." Kurumi always seemed to be different whenever she brought up her parents. It was weird to Selina that the girl would change in a matter of moments whenever her parents were brought up, "Kurumi, if you don't mind me asking, is something the matter with you and your parents? If you don't feel like telling me, by all means you don't have to."

Lea saw Matty grab more food, so she decided that she was still hungry and grabbed more mash potatoes and poured some gravy on it. Thinking about eating more pea's but she didn't want to seem werid infront of Matty for she had already enough pea's.

"Oh its great, its kind of just like mum's cooking." she said while still scanning around the great hall. "There's alot of professors up on the dais, I wonder which one is the headmaster?" she asked him for she had no idea who taught what.

"SORRRRYYYY"Adam told Selina in a obnixous voice.

Then he turned his attention to Elyon.

"First of all Kurumi is another Gryffindor- she is probably passing out her cookies.Second, she is my and Selina's closest friend, and my girlfriend..>So I know you don't know her, but don't make her sound bad-she is the best person in this whole school, you'll love her..."

Then he heard it a somewhat similar situation Adam was in at the very moment with his parents. How they didn't accept him so they did their best to ignore their own son, only with Elyon it was just the mom. He never though he'd hear something like this happening to someone else besides him or Kurumi.

"If you don't mind my asking, why doesn't your mum speak to you anymore?"He asked intrigued leaning forward to hear everything.

Elyon looked up and saw a pretty asian girl sitting near them. She looked a year or two older than Selina and herself. She smiled and held out her hand, to shake the other girl's. "You must be Kurumi. I'm Elyon James, it's nice to meet you." She smiled at the other Gryffindor.

"I agree only I would say it is much like my aunts cooking. But my aunts is better." *Matty smiled and took a few peas for himself then held a bowl up to her.*
"A few more? And the Headmaster is in the middle there. In the big chair."
