Gryffindor House Table
 

Eat, drink, and be merry, O Lions, for tomorrow the term begins.

Arabella-Marie skipped into the great hall for the start of term feast she was happy to be back at Hogwarts she fixed her robes slightly and made her way up to the Gryffindor table and took a seat and hoped that the rest of her housemates would join her soon

Alice was excited to be back at Hogwarts and was even more excited to catch up with everyone that she hadn't seen in a while. Taking a seat on the bench Alice looked around for someone she knew.

Kurumi couldn't have sprinted faster to the Gryffindor table unless she had Apparated. Finding a seat near the front so she could watch all her new first year friends get sorted, Kurumi set a rather large gold box on the table with crimson ribbon decor. Yep, going to start the term off right this year with some cookie magic! It just wouldn't be right with out them. Chomping at the bit to use magic, Kurumi took out her wand and pointed it at the cookies. "Locomotor cookies!" she giggled as each of her home made Gryffindor cookies floating around the table in a clockwise rotation. There, now anyone could reach up and grab one of them. She looked around and waited for more people to arrive and for the sorting to begin.



Kurumi decided to watch her cookies float around in the air for a bit. How she had missed being able to use magic. Noticing a few people had arrive, Kurumi waved to them. "Feel free to take a cookie," she smiled pointing up at the parade in the air.

Lea was sorted in Gryffindor, it was good because thats the house that her Twin brother Riley was in. So atleast she would have someone to talk to. She sat down at her house table and waited for Riley, They didn't sit together on the train, so she couldn't see him.

*Walking down the table to his he saw Lea and pulled a seat up next to her.*
"Well hello, keeping it in the family? Gryffindor is a great house, not as good as Hufflepuff but still good. How are you liking things so far?"

Lea saw Matty sit beside her. "Oh goody someone I sort of know, and a cute one to boot" she thought. "Oh Yeah I was really happy when the Sorting hat said Gryffindor and things are going okay so far. Can't seem to find my brother but thats okay. How are things going for you?" she asked.

Fee made her way to the Gryffie's table.She really loved to be back and seeing all the happy faces of the students only proved that she wasnt the only one that felt like it.Maybe she would find Rex here, the blonde hadnt talked to her best malie for ages.No idea where he had hidden at the train.Just not cool. Or maybe she would see some others of her Gryffie friends since it seemed she had the most friends in that house expect Slytherin.

Searchign for a free seat the Slytherin noticed her friend Kurumi there with the cookies, what a pitty she couldnt take one."Hey Kurumi",she smiled,"you're cookies look delicious."They really did and Fee always wondered how the little girl did that.

Adam saw that Kurumi was all the way up in the front. Great now he had to be a good boy and sit silently through the sorting of first years.
"Hello you...Man you got here fast."Adam said, sitting down right next to her.
The plates were still empty and his stomach was growling like a lion, for he had been stupid enough not to eat any type of candy at all during the train ride here.

"Heh heh" He said as he rubbed the back of his head nervously. Jeez this girl was just as crazy as Kat. No wonder they were best friends. Nevertheless, he still smiled at Lexi. It was nice to have someone around that was just as crazy as Kat, it made him miss her less.

"Well Kat has gotten into some trouble with her dad... And well she's in New York now with her grand mother but no one knows that just me and well you now..." Jeremy and Kat got along quite well actually. He treated her like if she were his real sister instead of a step sister and she did the same to him. "See at first she wasn't going take that modeling job her grandma offered her but after her dad and my mom started picking on her more often she just packed up and left. But she did tell me to give you something." He dug through his bag once again kind of upset that it was so unorganized and couldn't find anything. He finally flipped it upside down and emptied it of all it's contents. When he finally found the box he was looking for he handed it to Lexi and smiled. "I guess it's an 'I'm sorry I'm not helping cause trouble at Hogwarts this term' present" Of course when Kat had given him Lexi's gift he had opened it. It's a Jeremy thing to do since he was curious.

"Hey Fee," Kurumi smiled. It felt good to see everyone back in their robes and that glow around them that said 'I am here.' "I just put a box on the Slytherin table," she said pointing to the green and silver box that was just barely visible through the crowds of students. "Make to share," she winked."


"I ran," Kurumi said with a wink and pointing up to her parade of floating cookies. She could hear Adam's stomach growling even over the excited voices in the Great Hall. "I know you're hungry."

Christopher was looking around for his friend when he saw a girl her age sitting a few seat down from him. He smiled and took a cookie, then reached out to shake her hand. "Hello. I'm Christopher. Actually, I believe you might know my sister, Elyon." He had seen them on the train and was about to join them, but forgot all about it when he saw they had arrived. Hogwarts was his home and he just wanted to get back.

He smiled and took a bite from his cookie. It was really good! The best he'd ever had! "Oh my gosh, these are good! Did you make these?"

Adam shook his head."Hi Fee."Adam waved at her as he took a red and gold patterned cookie.
"No you didn't run...You sprinted.
And yes, I am starving, I didn't eat a single thing at all on the train...But I know what to do for next year now."He said with a smile.

*Picking up a muffin Matty shrugged. Things had been going good so far. But that was because he had yet to see Mia. They had sort of patched things up but it was still odd for him. No matter how hard he would try he just did not like the guy she was with.*
"So far so good. That train ride was faster then normal. Felt like we got here in no time at all. I didn't get a chance to get you something from the food tray. Oh well."
*Matty said with a wink then bit into his muffin.*

Arabella-Marie sighed as she saw friends chatting to each other and hoped that somebody would chat to her soon

"Nice to meet you Christopher," Kurumi said shaking his hand and bowing her head at the same time. She was going to have to get back into the routine of not bowing. "I am glad you like them," she blushed. And she was going to have to get used to people complimenting her cookies too. "I did. Baking is a hobby of mine. Last year, I left cookies out in the common room every week for everyone to enjoy." She titled her head to the side. "I'm afraid I didn't meet a Elyon," she said frowning a bit. She then looked at Christopher and blinked several times. "Are you a transfer student?" There she was, being naively blunt again.


Then she saw Simon make his appearance and she waved back at him. "You know me and cookies," she giggled as she charmed one of them to float towards him. "Congratulations on making captain. I heard from someone on the train. I'm looking forward to seeing my first Quidditch match this term."


You say poTEto I say poTAto. "Alright, so maybe it was a bit more of a sprint," she blushed holding the ends of her hair. She watched as Adam ate a cookie. She was still too nervous to be able to eat anything. Once the sorting had started and the first 50 or so students were placed then she would be able to breathe again.

Alice smiled warmly as Kurumi took out her Gryffindor themed cookies. "These look amazing Kurumi!" Alice said warmly. She wanted one, but she figured it would be better to wait until after she had something more dinner appropriate before munching down on dessert.

Alice looked and saw a girl sitting by herself that she thought she recognized but wasn't sure. "Hey!" Alice said warmly. "Your name is Arabella-Marie right?"

Such a Ron thing to do :P
 

"You can take some if you want..."Adam said through a mouthful of cookie crumbles."They are for Gryffindors. I'm Adam- a 3rd year. I don't believe we have met."Adam said, wiping his right hand on his robes and holding it out to the younger girl who had spoke to Kurumi.

Lexi walked into the Great Hall a little in front of Jeremy. Spotting Alice she smiled brightly and waved at the small girl. She was aces in Lexi's book. Sidling up to the table she plopped down next to the girl and smiled brightly at her as she patted the bench on the opposite side of her for Jeremy to sit. "Hey Alice, how was your holiday?" she asked brigthly.

Not having to be told twice, Lexi plucked a cookie out of the air and took a bi bite of it. Hehe. Looking down the table at Kurumi she smiled and kind of waved the cookie at the girl in thanks.

Lexi turned her attention back to Jeremy and frowned a little as he spoke. Why the heck would Kat run off like that and not tell her? Then as he exlained moreso she felt like crying for Kat. That was terrible... but Lexi knew how it felt to be treated poorly by family. She would have been there for Kat all the way.

Lexi couldn't help but sniffle a little bit when Jer handed her the box. She opened the box up and wibbled as she saw the necklace. Taking it out of the box she held it tightly in her hands as she looked back to Jeremy. "Thank you so much!" she exclaimed before she threw her arms around him and hugged him tightly.

Selina heard Kurumi mention the boy was the Captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team and she froze. The Captain of the Quidditch team was mere feet away from her. She knew she must have looked like an outright fool, but she was in shock.

All summer long she had been drilling with her father, a Chaser for the Fowlmouth Falcons, to be good enough to even think about try outs for the Quidditch team. And now, in a moment, she was feet away from the person who would decide her fate. It was somewhat frightening.

Everything she had worked on was up to this older student. All of the hours, all of the reading, and all of the studying was up to this older student.

But he seemed much nicer than she thought he would. She pictured fangs and dark eyes. In reality he had a warm face, but a stern stance that probed out he was serious about what he loved. She respected that about the boy she had never met.

Sucking in a deep breath Selina walked up to the Captain and brushed a strand of her unruly red hair behind her ear. With a blazing look she approached him and said, "Hello, it's nice to meet you. I'm Selina Skylar, first year and I overheard you were Captain. And, well, I was wondering can first years try out?"

As Selina reached for a cookie she met eyes with a pretty older blonde student. She was sure that she had seen this girl before. Was she in that crowded compartment on the train with Adam, Kurumi, and Hugo? But she could not have been. How could Selina have just passed her by?

Trying to be as polite as possible she asked, "I'm sorry, were you on the train in the same compartment as Hugo, Adam, and Kurumi? I think I remember your face. If not, I apologize for my lunacy. It slips out sometimes," the petite redhead joked.

"Your welcome" Jeremy hugged her back, well at least tried to since the little girl was basically suffocating him. Now he need to change the topic and quick before Lexi started crying. He looked over at her and noticed she was half way there.

"So this is Hogwarts ey?" He asked as he looked around. "I'll tell you this much. It sure isn't anything like my old school." He nodded and then stole a piece of Lexi's cookie and popped it in his mouth. "So you look like a girl that likes to have fun and since you are friends with Kat then you must like to have fun. So tell me... Is there anything fun in this place??"

Ohhh soo there were Slytherin cookies too? She had to get one later, really.Or maybe two or three seeing how awesome Kurumi's ookes looked once again."I cant believe i am here again",the blonde smiled widely,"it feels good to be in the robes again."They were so unfashionable but still fee loved them kinda.

"Hey Adam",Fee smiled and waved at her friends,"seems we always find eachother."Wherever they went when their group was there they would find eachother no matter at what end the one and at one end the other was.Pretty cool actually.

Fee noticed a little younger looking red haired girl looking at her and standing not far away.Approaching a little she smiled at her. Probably a first year,but somehow she seemed familiar."Yes i was",she nodded,"i knew is saw you somewhere before."Right that was Kurumi's,Adam's and Hugo's friend. How could she forget? Shame on you."I am Feenella by the way",the blonde smiled friendly.

It was always nice to get to know new people and if she was friends with Fee's friends that girl could only be nice."Congrats on Gryffindor by the way."
