''Hah you should be proud,defo!''she nodded. Yea,he made her smile again,he has to be proud! I mean, why not??

''Yea,right,i'll give it a shot. Why not? I can do that. I guess. ''she said quietly. ''Uhh you don't know how good I am! Hey,you have just met me! You still have to see what can I do! And how great I am..that is just so true!'' she said sarcasticly,laughing all the time. ''An eye won't be enough! Hahha you will need the other one,trust me!'' she laughed. Lions are dangerous,be careful,you can make them really angry. GRR!

''Hahaha awesome chicken!''she giggled. Yea chicken seemed to be really awesome. ''Oh,because if i eat a lot,then i get sick,and throw up! Who wants that? I am so tiny,and it's very easy for me to get sick from food. But I like those pies. Just look at them. That crust,and fresh fruit inside.....oh how can you say NO to them?''she asked,still looking at them. ''And YEA, I am a PIE FREAK! And a butterbear FREAK too! I can't live without them! But I might become a chicken freak too! What's your favorite pie?'' she asked. I mean,everyone has to have a favorite pie.Yea!

Elyon looked up at shy girl about her age. She was sitting by herself, staring at the ceiling. Awww. She looks lonely! She waved and motioned for the girl to come over and sit by them. When the girl sat down, she held out her hand for the other girl to shake with. "I'm Elyon James, nice to meet you! Are you a first year too?" She smiled brightly at her.

"Aww thanks, but I have a ton of people who have already said they would fly with me. So I think I'm covered. And Head Girl? That entails a lot of time. You sure you wanna do it?"

Selina followed Adam's eyes to the small Ravenclaw girl that was near the Gryffindor table. The two seemed to be in a small misunderstanding. When he mentioned that he would talk to her in the common room she nodded in understanding. Something was up and he had to deal with it.

When he then struck up a conversation she gave him a look that said "If you need to go deal with that go ahead."

"I won't mind." She gestured to the Ravenclaw girl.

Adam nodded his head. So Katie had been talking about him even though they had broken up months ago.
"Seems that's the only thing Katie ever talks about. Adam Burn her ex boyfriend- the evil meanie...So what's your name?"He asked the stuttering girl, she seemed extremely nervous.

Elyon grinned. "I'm more of a sky blue person. It reminds me of the water, I live near a beach, I go there all the time. Something about the way the waves roll up on the shore just really relaxes me. Anyway, sorry about the random conversation starter, I just sort of said the first thing I could think of." She shrugged and smiled cheerfully.

Nika took a brake from the amazing ceiling and looked around the table. When she saw a girl motioning to her she was very excited and responded right away by walking towards her and taking a seat. The girls shook hands and Nika suddenly felt a lot better. She thought she would never make friends. "Hi, Elyon my name is Nika, Nika Adler. and Yeah, I'm a first year too!" seeing the girls genuine smile Nika brightened up and smiled too. "Thanks for letting me sit here with you! I didn't really know anyone and everyone seemed to be busy talking."

"Thanks...She was just starin at me and I found it quite rude to be honest..."He whispered to the redheaded friend.

"I love the ocean...Swimming and being a amateur surfer...I always fall off the board.But you get that feeling of gliding on ice or something- kinda like quidditch-flying in the air...Do you play any sports?"He asked her back.

"Oh no worry about the starter..."He said shoving it away.

"Let me guess, Katie?" Selina whispered back. That was the only reason why anyone would stare at Adam with disdain. He was too funny and nice for a proper cause to dislike him. Although Selina was beginning to see a trend that anyone who knew Katie did not like Adam. That girl had some serious factual issues.

Elyon nodded. "I'm very serious about my studies. Head Girl is really important to me, though I suppose that's pretty far off. Reading is my favourite hobby, then there's piano and ukelele. My two favourtie instruments. Do you play any instruments?" Reading and music were all she had left to look forward to during the summers now. She shook the thought out of her mind.

"Yeah the flute when I was younger, but I put it down. A lot of people here seem to play instruments so I may pick it up again. Just so I can relate to people more." Selina saw Elyie's face fall slightly and asked, "Is everything okay?"

Brodie made his way to the best table, at least he thought that, he wanted to make friends, cool friends, he knew people of course, but more friends would be much better, don't be shy people, Brodie's in the house.

"Well the girl says she knows Katie and Katie had been talking about me....What else is new? Anyways- she seems to have gone her way...What's up?"He asked Selina, turning back to the rather comfortable conversations he always had with his fellow lion friends.

"Of course. And nothing much. You just looked all lonely by yourself so I thought I'd invite you over here." That much was true. Kurumi seemed busy so Selina might as well keep him occupied until she was available.

"By the way, this feast is quite long... how much longer until we can head up to the Common Rooms?"

Adam saw another Gryffindor, this time maybe a first year boy.
"Hello. I'm Adam Burn...Nice to meet you fellow Lion..."He told the boy.

"Not much now...Once the food disappears we will head to the common room to our cozy bedrooms.I can't wait for this feast to end, then we can try and practice some flying...For the first time in all my years I've actually wanted school to start."

Lexi started a little bit when Rafe screamed her name, but began to bounce in her seat as he came to hug her. She LOVED huggles. Returning the big squeeze with one of her own she smiled brightly. Rafe was good people.

Hearing his comment she patted his shoulder once he released her and nodded her head. She KNEW what he meant. She had been gone for a while. St. Mungo's and all that. "I know, it is really weird to come back here after being away," she replied. Trying to lighten the mood, though, she changed the subject. "Are you excited for quidditch?" she asked with an eyebrow wiggle for him. She knew how much Rafe loved it.

"Um, Adam, we have met before, at Katie's" He said smiling, its good to see a fellow lion at the table, even though he did know him, but they doesn't mean they can't talk.

"I'm at the point where I am itching to just get up to the dorms, unpack, and start this term." When Adam mentioned flying she beamed.

"Me too. Since we can't have brooms first year I had to leave mine home, so I already have talked to Vindictus and he said he would lend me one. Then if you want I'll grab my Quaffle and we can practice. You know you are really the only person who gets why I love Quidditch so much. I feel like everyone else kind of just nods and smiles. But you actually get it."

What a way to start his last term, Rex thought to himself. Just like when he first transferred here, no one is talking to him. Rex sighed out loud.

"Oh right- I called you a donkey...So umm, are you like friends with Katie- didn't you like her or something like that?"He asked absurdly.Who would be capable of liking such a girl.

"I'm just itching cause of these robes "He said itching his elbow.

"You sure are downright serious about getting practice and a broom for Quidditch- never thought you were THIS MUCH in love with the sport...I would have never thought of that my first year."He said patting her head for her taking action ahead of time.

Nika turned around and saw a boy who looked much older than her, but very lonely. She knew the feeling because she felt the same way when she first sat down too. "Hi, I'm Nika Adler."

she hadn't told him her name? great, this was great, she would normally say that first off, "you seem nicer then she told me to be honest" well at the start he scared her but he seemed nicer now, "Coraline Riddle" she said putting out her hand to shake.

" My name is Rex Trigwell" he introduced himself to Nika. Rex smiled. "Are you a first year?" Rex asked Nika. " I am seventh year and will be graduating this term" Rex said to Nika. " I have friends in Gryffindor but they do not want to talk to me today" Rex explained to Nika. "So do you have a good story about coming to HogWarts?" Rex asked Nika.

"I am really...But I won't say more- supposdly I am a liar....Coraline- that sounds kinda familiar- I think she mentioned you once...So umm, are you a first year then? And how
d you meet up with Katie? And why did she speak and what did she speak when it came about me.?"Now it was the turn for Adam to turn the tables on Katie- get some juice on her with her friend.

Elyon smiled. "No worries Nika! I'm not too busy to make sure everyone feels at home! I had some really nice friends to help me get comfortable here, and I think everyone deserves the same!" The girl seemed really nervous, just like she'd been on the train. "Interesting name, where do you come from?"

Elyon laughed. "I can surf a little tiny bit, but that's just mostly because my mum dragged me to yoga classes since I was eight, though I seem to only have good balance on the waves. Other than that, I fail miserably." She smiled and shook her head, thinking of all the times she'd failed at all the sports in gym class. "I like to read a lot though, as I said earlier, grades and reading are pretty important to me. I play an instrument, three actually. Piano, guitar, and ukelele. Are you a reader/musician too?"

"Flute? That's cool. You really should pick it up again, but don't just do it for everyone else, do it for yourself. Playing an instrument is a really good way to express yourself!" Elyon remembered what Kurumi had said earlier and didn't pretend nothing was wrong. "It's just that my books and my music are all I really have left at home... Kurumi said earlier we could talk some more about our families once we head up to the common room, she said it wasn't good for me to bottle it up. You can join us if you have anything on your mind." She gave Selina a small smile. It felt good to know she had someone to talk to.

"Very funny," Selina replied dryly.

"And yeah, I guess it's cause my whole family played or plays. If I don't make the team I would feel like I failed them or something. So I have to give it my all or else I won't have a shot. Everyone else is so much bigger me, including you. My size helps with flying cause I'm light and I can fly fast, but aggression wise I need more bark to back up my bite."

That much was true. If she even wanted to be considered she would have to do some serious training. The sport was not only important to her but to her family. Especially her father. He expected her to do her very best and so him proud. It was the pressure of having a professional Quidditch player as a father.

"Elyie, I'm so sorry. About whatever it is you're dealing with." Selina replied. Her new friend was too sweet and hard working for her to be deserving of any problems in her home life. "And of course I'll be there. That's what friends do." And that was when she had said it. For the first time friend had left her mouth. It was deciding time. If Elyie really wanted to be friends Selina would see soon.
