Elyon laughed and stuck out her tounge playfully. "I guess I'll have to practice, a lot!" She nodded, they had been talking to tons of people that evening. "Yeah, that could get pretty confusing."

"And there she goes! Always coming back to Quidditch!" She grinned at her friend. She was glad to have her. "I agree, I think they fit together. I'm really excited for DADA too, I can't wait to learn it all!" Not so much flying, but hey. At least she had her books!

Elyon smiled at Kurumi, then turned her attention abruptly to the headmaster. Her eyes widend and she gave a smile wimper as the she was warned to try her best not to die. Whaaaa?? Not die!?! That should be a given!!! Well... I guess it is good advice.

She tilted her head as Mr. Gevrik was announced as a security consultant. She started to worry big time. Was there always a consultant here, just for extra safety? Or was something else happening that caused the need for the extra security? What did they need protecting from? Elyon tugged nervously on the sleeve of Kurumi's robes, trembling. "Erm... Kurumi.... why is he here? Is there always a security consultant at Hogwarts? Why and from what do we need the extra security protection?"

Elyon saw a nervous looking boy studdering to Kurumi near her. He looked about her age, so she figured she'd introduce herself. She smiled brightly at him and extended her arm to shake his hand. "Hi, I'm Elyon James, first year. Nice to meet you!" Hey, she was getting pretty good at this whole making friends thing!

Alex gave Sophia a quick glance. She was the second person to ask him that at the Feast, he never asked people that simply because he really didn't care. Unless they were muggleborn then it was really interesting hearing about all their weird things they had going on. "Yeah they are, Slytherins." he grinned. So should he ask the same question back? Probably. "And yours?"

"I have to see it before I die is that it?" he chuckled. "Good thing I'm planning to go there after graduation then." Even if it were a loong time to that. He would visit Italy and now apparently he would visit it in February. "So this carneval, do you dress up and stuff?" he asked curiously.

He raised his eyebrows at Sophia. "Really? Yes, yes Manhattan." he chuckled excited. His home, oh well his second home actually. "Um I haven't thought about it actually." he admitted. He had spend the summer in England to prepare his first year at Hogwarts and now he was there, he had no idea what he would do next summer. "I guess I will be at both places, travelling back and forth." he winked, yes that was the best soloution for him.

Alex cheered her up? That was great news. "I'm so very proud of myself." he laughed. He loved cheering people up, he hated sad people. Smile!

"Hm, well I agree with you. You should try at least." he winked. You never knew until you've tried it. He laughed again glancing around them but the Gryffies really took no notice of him. "Ah then I'll have to stay near you then." he grinned. Not that he thought that any Gryffie could take him on but still, he wouldn't mind hanging out with a friend. Especially not a great one like Jacqueline. "Oh you're that good are you?" he teased. "I guess I'll keep an eye open then." Really both eyes open not just one but yeah, that's what you say.

"I'm so glad I introduced you to the awesomeness of chicken." he laughed. But no one else could know how good chicken was. Then there wouldn't be enough for him and Jacqueline! "Why would you get sick?" were the pies poisoned? Hmm.

Watching her serve up the different pies he grinned. "Are you a pie girl?" he chuckled. Seemed like it.

Selina looked up at the source of the voice. It was another girl who looked around the same age as Selina and the other first years. She was not about to yell out over a large crowd about her personal feelings on the new guy so she gestured for the girl too come closer. When they were close enough Selina replied, "Yeah, weird... a little too weird. I'm Selina Skylar by the way."

"Well you know, it's my thing. And I rarely have conversations were it is neglected. So your a bookworm eh?"

Cai tried to find a seet at the table. She was absolutely amazed that there was that many people at Hogwarts, let alone in Gryffindor. She had only be in the bathroom for three minutes at most. She began making her way up and down the table, but tried to avoid the older students. Then she saw a girl that she reconised as fellow first year Gryffindor. She walked up to her and said, "Hi, I'm Cai Black. I see you're in Gryffindor too. Um, do you mind if I sit here? I can't find anywhere else."

Selina was greatly enjoying her pudding that was on the golden plate. It was the sweetest and lightest pudding that she had ever tasted. Every spoon fill of the soft chocolate seemed to melt in her mouth. As she reached to engulf her next bite she felt a person behind her. With her fast reflexes she turned around to see her intruder of space. But all she saw was a small girl around her age introducing herself.

Selina smiled and gestured for the girl to take a seat beside her. "Hello Cai, I'm Selina pleasure to meet you."

Sophia saw his glance, and she hoped that she hadn't offended him. She was relieved when she saw him smile again. "Well, my mum was a pureblood and my dad is a muggleborn, so I am a half-blood, but I was raised as a muggle." she explained. "Life as a muggle was so hard compared to wizard life!" she said, laughing a little bit.

"Yes you do!" she said, beaming. It was just one of those places you HAD to visit. There is just so much culture and history there. "Oh yes. We dress up in VERY dramatic costumes, unlike Halloween which is very whimsical." she explained. She pulled out a picture of her in her costume and showed it to him. "But, all Carnival costumes are homemade, and they all have masks." she said. The city itself looked amazing as well, though.

"Yes, it was very nice there." she said. "A little chilly for my liking, but then again so is England." she said, chuckling. Italy was warm year round. "I understand." she said, nodding her head. She laughed and playfully winked back. "That is how this summer was for me. A lot of traveling." she said, sighing. She had just gotten back from New York, and she was exsausted.

"So, do you know your way around yet? I'm planning on making a map of this place, it's so huge!" Cai said excitedly. "Are we aloud to have Weasley's Wizard Wheezes prouducts here? If not, that's really a shame. I love jokes, you know." Cai paused to eat some of the wonderful pudding that was on the plate in front of her. "What subjects are you most excited to learn? Personally, I'm looking foward to DADA, Transfiguration and Charms. Are you a pureblood, half-blood or a Muggle-born?" Cai ate some more of the pudding. She was excited to finally be at Hogwarts and glad to have a friend. At first she thought she'd be friendless. That was quickly changed by Selina's warm welcome.

Nika was amazed with the Great Hall. She looked around in awe. Floating candles over head and the ceiling was painted? to look like the sky or probably more likely magic-ed somehow. Nika kept her head low while on the train because she was feeling very shy, which did not happen to often. She walked over to two first years that she thought she saw while getting sorted and tried to make friends.

"Hi I don't mean to bother you guys, but I was wondering if I could sit here?" She pointed to the seat next to the girls. "I'm Nika, by the way." She said smiling. Nika had some trouble making friends at her old school and she was determined to make friends at Hogwarts.

Adam looked around. Most of his friends were chatting and meeting new people, leaving him a bit behind in the dust.Maybe he had talked to much earlier and had nothing to chat about with anyone nowadays.
Kurumi was wrapped up in some security for Hogwarts and Selina was making new first year friends.
He took a sip and began people watching.

"It was good," Simon answered, momentarily thinking it over and bringing what he had done over the few months. "Spent some time with Viky...played some Quidditch with Jon...Speaking of which...you havent seen her have you?" he asked feeling slightly ashamed that he lost track of his fellow sixth year. In his defense he hadn't run into her on the train either.

"Just Simon is fine...and thanks" he assured her, taking a sip before thinking of something that came to mind setting the goblet down. "I hope that was in casual conversation and not with Slytherin quidditch players planning to make my like miserable," he commented in half-jest and a soft smile.

Selina was slightly taken aback by this girl's rush of questions. But she could not find it in her to stop the flow. Cai seemed very anxious and excited by all of her questions. It was sweet and some how endearing.

"Yeah, you are as long as you don't use them for trouble... or get caught. And I know my general way around the castle. My whole family has been going here for generations so all of the stories I've heard is like a little map for me."

Then Selina had to think what was she most excited for? "Flying, but I guess you wouldn't count that. Besides that DADA. And I'm a Mixed Blood, which is like I have like 75% magical blood from my bloodline." Cai was sweet and she her smiled was contagious.

Looking over at Adam Selina smiled. He was seemed quite lonely and had taken up the task of studying everyone around him. A noble pursuit, but not one fit for someone with friends.

"Oi! Adam come and take a seat. You look lonely." Selina said wearing her usual sweet smirk.

she smiled, of course this girl wasn't a bully! but there was probably one on the slytherin table, maybe it was best to stay on this table and wait for Katie, "t-thank you, so h-how are you?" she asked trying to make conversation so she didn't have to leave until awhile, she didn't want to get bullied by slytherins, even though some were very nice.

had she heard of this boy before? he looked like what Katie had told her, red hair, Adam looking face, maybe it was? she couldn't help but stare at that moment, she wondered if this boy was mean like Katie told her or if he was very nice, she never knew as he seemed very nice to others.

Elyon grinned. "Getting books and good grades, well that's my thing. I'm not really the sportsy type." She shrugged, still grinning. "Christopher and I have a whole book collection. I've already read most of the textbooks, atleast the more interesting subjects. Yes, I'm just that nerdy." She smiled.

Rafe didn't really know how to fit in again. It was weird being back at Hogwarts; things were so much more lively here versus Durmstrang. Would his old friends still accept him? Would he get to play Quidditch again? And who the heck were all the new professors?! Nothing felt them same. Should he just talk to some of the students or just continue to just stare at the ceiling. And where was his little ankle biter of a brother?!

"That isn't nerdy, it's dedication. I mean many a Head Girl did that very same thing. Personally though I would rather fly. But because my Mom was Head Girl she would kill me if I didn't do well so I'll be hitting the books with you. If that's okay with you of course."

He then saw someone staring at him.Finding it rather rude and annoying Adam decided to talk to this girl.
"Is there something wrong with me? Because you know I can sit here for you to stare at...I'm ADAM. A third year."He said rather roughly.

Elyon looked up at Adam, the boy she'd talked to earlier. He looked a bit bored. She thought she'd learn a bit more about him. "So Adam, what's your favourite color?" It was random, but hey, she was just being nice, after all.

Rex saw Fee and Jacqueline. He guess they did not see him. Rex just decides to do more eating. Hopefully some other friends of Rex will talk to him.

Chad strolled over to the Gryffindor table, hands in his pockets. Aaah, the gryffindor table. He hadn't been there in a reaaaaally long time. Over 20 years to be exact. It looked like it was the EXACT same table he sat at then, too.

"Bonjour, Madame Kimber," he smiled, walking up beside her. "I hope the kids are behaving."

After turning back to the table from Madame Donovan she spotted a familiar face across from her. Her jaw dropped a bit and she squealed. "RAFE! Hey!! " she all but shouted at her housemate and former quidditch teammate. Awesome! Her face fell a bit though when she noticed he looked a little off. Boo. "Hey, is something the matter, Rafe?" she asked in a much softer tone.

Interesting... the wiggly, apparently French, guy knew Madame Donovan. Interesting indeed. Lexi craned her head back so as to get a better look at the guy and smiled brightly. "Hello, sir! Are you our new Groundskeeper? I saw you were in Mr. Masterson's old seat."

Nika was a little embarrassed those girls probably didn't hear her and she didn't want to try to talk to them again in case the did hear her and were just ignoring her. So instead she decided to take a seat at another empty chair she found and started staring at the ceiling. It was very beautiful and she did love the sky. Maybe she would make friends later on and that seemed alright to her.

maybe there were mean people from gryffindor? she looked alarmed when he spook, she didn't know what to say, should she leave? or should she stay? "i-i-i'm sorry, its just Katie has t-to-told me about a b-boy called Adam and w-wh-what he looked like and y-you look like him" she said, wait, he just said his name was Adam, could that mean?

Rafe looked from the ceiling to the person that called his name. "LEXI!" Rafe screamed as he went over to her and gave her a tight squeeze. "It's so nice to see a familiar face!" A little bit of color stretched across his face. It looked like she might have been conversing with someone else and he hoped he wasn't interrupting, it was just so refreshing to see someone who knew him, and actually recognized him. "Nothing's really the matter, it's just you're gone a year and it's like a whole new world." Rafe forced a smile.

Rafe looked up to see who she was talking to. He sounded French? That would be interesting. "Bonjour, monsieur," Rafe attempted to say as best as he could. His french was a little rusty after speaking Romanian, his native tongue, so much. And did Lexi say new Groundskeeper? Rafe wondered what happened to Masterson. This was just another change to add to the list.

"It's my newfound dream to become a Prefect, then Head Girl for Gryffindor! And yes, you can deffinately study with me!" She giggled. "We can be study buddies!" She was really greatful for someone to study with, she always had her nose in a book, and now she'd do it with a friend! "I can't promise you that I'll be flying with you though, I don't think I'd be too good at that.... Christopher'll probably fly with you though, he likes that kind of thing." She shrugged and took a bite of treacle tart.

"I like red. Probably because I am ginger- but if not, orange...I seem to like a lot of warm earth tones in terms of colors.What about you?"He answered for Elyon- that was a weird conversation starter, but hey he was talking now.

He then heard Selina calling him over, but he wanted to know what this ravvenclaw staring at him was all about,"Maybe later, or the common room..."He responded to her. Then realizing it had been rather rude of him, he slide over to Selina."So what's the chatter all about?"
