Valerie looked at the other Gyrffindor girl. "Hello. I'm Valerie Black." She gave a small smile before looking at Brittany. "That's good news. My cousin and his girlfriend are in Slytherin but I don't really want to be around them." She admitted. "Oh I think I've heard of her. She seemes really nice." Yes Val would have to meet this Fee person. Val laughed. "Everything seems so far away from England. Like the train ride here. I thought it would never end."

Greer's eyes wandered idly around the table, staring at her fellow housemates with a small smile on her pink lips. Everyone seemed either too busy watching Professor Vindictus and the Other Man have their battle of egos, or just talking among each other. In the end, they fell on an older, lost and scared-looking older girl. Normally, McKensie would have ignored her, but seeing the shiny badge pinned to her robes, Greer smiled openly and wiggled her fingers at her general direction.

Authority figures. It was best to keep them on her side, for they could later come in handy.

Sabel Dakest, Greer was coming to realize, a compulsive pumpkin juice server--a compulsive pumpkin juice server for girls. Or perhaps this was one of his many veela ways to charm girls of not only his age, but older and younger, too. Not that the blonde scottish pubescent knew about the former, but she knew plenty of the latter--hello, she was part of the YOUNGER crowd!

Sabel, seemingly done serving juice to the scared-looking prefect, resumed his smiling at Greer's direction, had the younger girl becoming acutely aware of her now sweaty palms. She rubbed them against the fabric of her school skirt, and frowned down at them for such an insolence. Acutely aware, too, of the fact that the first part of Sabel's speech sounded a lot like a riddle a Ravenclaw Owl Head would feel the need to solve, but that did not held attraction for McKensie herself, the young Gryffindor schooled her expression on a politely interested one.

"Experience! I'm only twelve!" She informed, at last revealing her age. "You ask for too much!" Or maybe he wasn't. Maybe he wasn't asking her to have experience, but to aquire some. But Greer, dealing with her wet palms, and trying to profusely ignore his wink, did not have time to think if her answer had been adequate or not. "Closet Trolls? Closet? Is there such a thing like that?" McKensie inquired sharply, as she searched for her notepad and pencil inside her small messenger back. There they were! Greer began to take notes on her pad--notes that may or not be about Half-Veela Boys and their Ways to Charm Girls, as well as the existence of yet another creature to get rid off when Lulu, Janie and herself ruled the world.

"Oh I play Quidditch" she said while slapping him on the arm for saying she liked her pea's a bit too much. "and theres nothing wrong with peas" she added.

"But yeah I play Quidditch. Its my favorite sport. Or I also Like to play Muggle Volleyball its really fun, I like to play it in the sand." she said while eating more food.

"Nice to meet you too Arabella." Alex smiled before he glanced down at his robes with a grin. "Yeah I just got sorted. You mind chatting to a snake?" he grinned again. Otherwise he could just leave... Internal sigh.


"Really you do?" Alex chuckled. "I don't think I know him. Unfortunately I don't know many Gryffindor's." he admitted slightly bummed. "But that's about to change." he winked.

He chuckled and nodded. "Well yeah, sometimes Slytherin's aren't that appreciated." why was that? they were awesome, according to him. "Then I'll chill and relax." he laughed feeling at ease with Jacqueline.

"Pretty excited about hanging out with my friends but the endless lessons? Ugh, not so excited about those." he grinned. "And yes I will, I'll try out for beater. Do you play?" he asked her curiously.

"wow so you have family here. Thats good... I guess." she added. maybe her and didnt get along. "Yea the train ride is long but i didnt mind it so much this year because i got to catch up with all my friends. and believe me on the train ride back home you wont want it to end.' she said laughing

"wow so you have family here also. You really lucky because its like a piece of home haing some one here that you know." she said. She then gaveher a knowing smile. That was everyone first concern when the saw the castle. "You want get lost trust me...Besides I help you out." she added

Selina was about to answer her question when she heard her name called for the sorting hat. After she was sorted she ran back down to Fee with the biggest grin on her face. She could not believe she had been placed in the house of her family. Sure Evan had convinced her that Slytherin was a great option, but she, now, felt like being in Gryffindor was were she was supposed to be.

"Thanks, Fee! Now it's official. I'm a Hogwarts student." It hit her. She was a Hogwarts student. The next seven years of her life she would be among all of the people who she would spend tonight with. Her dorm mates would be her roommates for the next seven years. And what she did in her house would define the rest of her life. It was somewhat daunting.

Returning to her previous question Selina grew excited. Quidditch was her passion. Her entire family for generations had been playing on the Gryffindor Quidditch team. More interesting yet every female of her family had been Captain, although some of the men were too.

What should she say about Quidditch? There was so much to say. She grew up with it. Finally answering she said, "I've been flying since I was two. My Dad is a Chaser for the Fowlmouth Falcons and my cousin, Harry Brown, is a seeker for the Kenmare Kestrals. so I guess you could say it's in my blood. All I do is practice and I'm going to out work everyone to prove I deserve that spot. You can ask Adam, I am dedicated to that sport like no other."

It was true. All summer long she was running drills with her Dad on their Quidditch Pitch. From early in the morning until late at night. She was serious about it.

"So what is your favorite class here?"

Selina looked up from her cookie to see Elyon. A mouth full of cookie she responded, "Hey Elyie!" She tried to cover her mouth to no avail. Swallowing her cookied she turned back and said, "I know! I'm so excited... wait, we are going to be roommates."

"He's my boyfriend. Just wanted to know if anyone knew him. He's really pale and shy. But really nice, well as nice as you Slytherins get." Selina joked. She then saw him looking out for a girl who was in her house. Oh, that's what he is looking for. Her eyes caught a very pretty young prefect who was aiding the other students. With a knowing smirk she backed away and went to find Violet.

Evan seemed to like this girl, and she was not going to intrude any longer.

Dropping her voice bellow a whisper she said, "I'll talk to you later, Evan."

"Wicked! I play Beater, when I can. And I enjoy muggle car racing. My uncle has a few fast cars but I'm not allowed to even be ten feet near them."
*He pointed to the peas and shrugs.*
"Nothing wrong with them, I just hate the soup. I have a bit of a sweet tooth."

Five terms and Orlando was sure he could read expressions of people he was greatly close to. Thus, the moment his Hufflepuff friend slid in next to him, Lando was sure there was something very wrong. His own smile fell completely when he noticed the familair lips curving into an unfamiliar smile. That smile was not of his KT. It just wasn't!

"What happened, KT?" he asked, bluntly - without the usual necessary hug (though it seemed to Lando that KT may need one of those comfy squeezes from Lando) or oh-so-necessary smile. Orlando was just plain worried!

Elyon sighed with relief. "Yes, I suppose you're right. And thank you so much." She was suddenly very appreciative of Christopher and Brittany. The castle was huge, she wasn't sure if she would get lost or not, but she decided to trust the girl. She was really helping her out.

She peered around Brittany and reached behind her to shake hands with Valerie. "Nice to meet you Valerie. I'm Elyon. Looks like we'll be seeing a lot of eachother this year." Elyon smiled at the other first year, glad to not be the only new one there.

"Oh you play beater, I like playing Seeker or Chaser Im not too picky" she said. "Oh I have my drivers licence, But I'd rather go by the floo network or by broomstick. I can never really get the driving wheel thing" she said "I like my chocolate frogs but I don't really have a sweet tooth im more of a chip and dip type of person" she said while laughing.

Lexi giggled when he booped her little nosey. He was cuuuute. "Oh we don't get to eat until after the Headmaster gives his speech," she said with a bit of a pout. She was hungry too.

"I can't wait to let Juniper out of her cage so she can see her new home for a while. OH! And I am not putting Wasabi in the owlery this term. He was not around at all last term and I missed him," she said absently as she let her eyes scan the Great Hall.

Hearing how excited Alice was to hear about her travels made Lexi a bit sad. Shaking her head she looked at Alice, "I wasn't able to go anywhere that I was supposed to. I will talk to you about in our dorms later? I don't really want to get into it all here." SHe spoke to Alice in a quiet tone and her eyes gave away her emotion, but she kept a smile on her face.

Her attention shifted back to her new favorite Huffie. hehe. Her smile gave way to a small grimace, though. "Definitely not looking forward to sitting my exams this year... that means more studying than I care to think about," she said and then giggled.

Awww yay!! He enjoyed his time at Hogwarts last year. "Good! I hope this term will be just as quiet and laidback for us all," she said with a little nod of her head to emphasize. "Oh! You have a little brother? I do too. He is 5," she replied.

"If I had to pick I would go by broom any day. Broom racing is a bigger rush then cars by far." *He smiled remembering his racing days with his uncle.*
"So other then a twin do you have any other brother or sisters?"

'Oh its no Problem at all.' she said with a genuwine smile. " So since you have a sibling here Im sure you heard of the lesson that are taught here?" she asked her before continuing. "do you have anyone inparticular that you are looking forward too?" she added

"Maybe we can race one day." she said while looking around at all the other students chatting and having fun. "Oh I have another brother his name is Dean he's the oldest. but I am the only girl." she told Matty. "So since we are both Sixth years does that mean we will have alot of the same classes?" she hoped that she would get to spend more time with Him.

"Of course! I call the bed by the window!" Elyon laughed. She couldn't wait to get to see the common room. Christopher told her all about it. Chunk would be there waiting for her too. She would make so many friends this year! She couldn't wait! Some of the other Gryffindors from the train might be there too. Christopher was right, Hogwarts was home.

Selina tugged on her Star of David necklace that was now accompanying her Gryffindor uniform. She could not believe she was an official lion. Now she was ready to start the year and worry about try outs. Her year was set into motion by an old hat that had just decided her fate for the next seven years.

Walking back to the table she saw her whisper fight buddy, Adam. As she made her way up to him she straightened her tie. They were now house mates.

"I think there are windows all around, Elyie. Our common room is in the tower. So the entire room is one big circle." Selina laughed. She was so glad to be with all of these great people. Everyone she had met so far was so nice and fun.

*Giving her a smirk he nodded.*
"Looks like you might be stuck with me as classes go. Unless you are taking special classes like Care of Magical Creatures. Hufflepuff and Gryffindor are normally in the same classes. Stay clear of Slytherin though."

"Well Done Lione Selina."He told her, patting her head and back.
"Now you get to spend all of your time with Kurumi and I.
Did any of your other friends make Gryffindor-like your first year friends?"He asked.
A new addition to the house was always god. And more than that he and Kurumi had a wonderful friendship with Selina, they could all talk about anything with her without having to feel judgemental

Preston laughed, "I-I'm h-h-happy I-I've g-got a while t-t-to g-go b-b-before I-I have t-to t-take th-them." He grinned, he already had to study more than the others just because he got confused easily, and he wasn't very good with his wand yet...he didn't want to have to think about having to study three times as much just for the OWLs.

Preston nodded his head, he definitely hoped that the term was quiet and easy going. "I-I agree." Preston said continuing to nod his head a few times. "I-I f-f-feel g-good about about th-this term." Preston said with a grin.

"Y-yeah." Preston said nodding his head again for the umpteenth time. "H-Hank is f-f-five t-too!" Preston exclaimed with one of his goofy smiles.

Jamie looked at the older student who had addressed her and shook her head. "No I'm not looking for anyone. I was just..." Sigh. How did she explain what was going on in her head. "I had hoped to be in Gryffindor but alas I am not." She smiled sadly and said. "I'm Jamie."

Emily gave a sigh of relief and smiled as Beth pushed her way from an oncoming crowd of students and took a seat opposite her.
"There you are!" Emily smiled and poured herself some pumpkin juise "We lost each other as soon as we got off the train! I thought mabye you'd gone to one of the other tables by mistake, by you just wern't here! Pumpkin juise?" she offered Beth

"Thanks, Adam." She sad looking up at him oddly as he pet her hair. It was so awkwardly Adam that she was not even surprised. That was why she liked hanging out with him and Kurumi so much. They did not fit into any mold. They were themselves and anyone who did not like it did not have to be around them. Honestly, Selina was the same way.

She was so glad she had found friends in them. The pair were such good people and always seemed to be helpful to anyone in need. And of course the constant cookies were always a plus...

"I'm looking forward to it. But just to warn you, you have the next four years having to deal with outspoken little me. It's the ginger in me. Sure you can handle it?" Selina joked.

"I'm ginger also- I think that is why we get along so well, we don't clash because of our red hair..."He said pointing at both red hairs.

Then he looked at his still empty plate, but then suddenly food in front of them appeared and Adam dived for some drumsticks first before answering Selina's next question.

"Yeah...The next four years with you...and Kurumi..."He said in a very quiet fake tone.

Elyon smiled back. She tried to think of all the classes Christopher had told her about. Let's see..... there were Potions, Charms, Divination, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Transfiguration, Ancient Runes..... Wow. That was a lot. "I think I'm most excited for either Care of Magical Creatures, or Transfiguration." She simply adored animals, and thought the fact of turn things into other things was amazing.

Elyon laughed. "Then it's a win-win situation!" She imagined crimson beds all in a circle, with windows all around. She grinned down at her Gryffindor uniform, proud to be a lion. It made her feel a part of something, like a family.

"Erm.... do you think you could introduce me to some more of your friends? I only briefly talked to Adam and another boy named Hugo on the train. I feel like I know nobody!" She was glad to get that off of her chest. She was a bit embarrassed about it, but she could trust Selina. She was her closest friend here.

Lea was really pleased when Matty said that they would have the same calsses "Oh I think I am taking Care of Magical Creatures." she said "Why would he warn me about the Slytherin's "Why whats wrong with the Slytherin's?" she asked for she didn't really know all about the Hogwart houses.
