Why, someone's in a good mood.
"Hi, Katie," Hugo replied. "Enjoying the feast?"

Raven saw a brunette, having badge that hang in her robes. "Hi!!! the names is Revellius Perevell, Raven will do, you have that badge with a big 'P', err I just asking who you are and what is 'P' means" Raven annoyingly ask.

A newly sorted Gryffindor made his way down to the table. He seemed a bit anxious and quiet. Waving at the boy and smiling heartily Sophie said "Hey, Welcome to Gryffindor! I'm Sophie, house prefect. Looking forward to classes tomorrow?" The brunette felt her confidence rise as she started to interact and be merry with her fellow housemates both new and old.

"Pleasure to meet you Adam." Sophie said as the boy explain his actions. "That was a very gallant action of you to try and make a girl you don't know feel at ease and at home at our table. Good initiative!" She made a mental note of the boy's action for future referance. Gazing up at the staff table she noticed an unknown man having some sort of altercation with the deputy headmaster. But Sophie didn't linger instead she turned her attetion back to her table and it's students.

In the corner of her eye Sophie saw someone wave at her. Turning to an older dark haired boy a bit down the table she beamed "I'd love a glass. I'm Sophie by the way. New Gryffindor prefect. And you are?" Untill the boy had asked she hadn't realized how dry her throat felt. She knew that was because of her initial prefect nerves that now were slowly easing up. Interaction seemed to be helping her forget her awkwardness and just focus on what was expected of her. Madam Donovan hadn't grazed the staff table with her presence yet so it wasn't time to go up there yet.

"Thank you.So since you're prefect you are a fifth year, right? Wow...How'd you get to be a prefect...?"He asked. One Kurumi would make the perfect Prefect for Gryffindor's in a few years and two she held all the qualities, fun, sweet, caring intelligent and she could handle any situation.

"Yes I am thanks, you?" Katie smiled, she would give him a cupcake later, that is if he wanted one.

Arabella-Marie sighed as she looked at all of the people chatting away quite happily and well she was not even getting talked to at all, she just felt like running away crying cause she was just thinking about her mum and how she had wished that she was at home looking after her rather than at school

Emiy walked into the hall and stopped for a moment to take it all in. She was here, she was actually here! She stood in her sisters old robes, but for once she didn't care she had hand-me-downs. She was at Hogwarts, so what else mattered?
Emily sat down at the Gryffindor table and looked up and down it. She had lost Beth in a crowd of students, so Emily hoped to see her at the feast somewhere.
Emily looked at the other houses tables, then up at the staff table.
'Mabye Beth has gone to the wrong table' she thought. But Beth was not there.
Emily sighed then started to eat, alone.

Jamie walked to the Gryffindor table and looked at it. She felt her heart break just a little. She had really wanted to be here. A lion like her father but instead she was a snake. She walked around and looked at everybody laughing and smiling.

Kurumi smiled at Simon. She had never really gotten the chance to interact with him except for in a few classes last term, but he seemed very capable. Then again, she only had Josh to compare him to...but Simon certainly had the intelligence and leadership qualities oozing from him. Ew, maybe oozing wasn't the right word. "I'm sure you will do a great job as captain," she said reassuringly. "I'm thinking of making some pre-match cookies for the team as, you know, a kind of pick me up," she explained through all the blushing and fidgeting with her hair. "Nothing too heavy or sweet though, the team needs to be able to move. Maybe oatmeal based or something..." She probably should stop before she began rambling about cookie recipes.


"The usual crowd," Kurumi giggled. They did have a solid group of friends that stretched between all four houses. "We could invite a first years as well. They all should know about the Room of Requirement and Bubblegum Quidditch." Now it was going to be a matter of finding time to fit all this in. She already had Y.W.H.O activities, doing research in the library with Eino and (whenever he had time) Adam, her baking circle, and now perhaps frequent Bugglegum Quidditch matches.

Kurumi twirled around on her seat when she felt someone bump into her and saw that it was a rather nervous and perhaps lost looking young girl. "It's no problem," she said with a smile as she tilted her head slightly to the right. "It is so crowded in here right now that we are bound to bump into one another." Then her mother's voice rang in her head that she was being rude sitting down while this girl was standing. "I'm Kurumi, Kurumi Hollingberry," she said as she stood up and bowed. Wait, hand shake. She needed to get out of her Japan mindset. "It's nice to bump into you," she giggled offering her hand for a handshake.

"I don't know," Selina joked, "An apple to the face would be very funny." After a moment of being serious she smiled and said, "I'm just kidding! I wouldn't throw a apple at you... unless you deserved it."

"Gah, I want to be sorted so badly."

As Selina was waiting to be sorted she looked over Adam's head and saw Kurumi. She had spoken very little to her friend on the train which was a shame. The got on quite well and she personally liked Kurumi a lot.

"Hey, Kurumi!" Selina said, "We didn't get to talking much on the train. How was the rest of your summer?"

Alice couldn't help but smile in amusement as the boy tried to speak while he had a mouthful of cookie. "I don't think we have met yet," said Alice is response to the boy's observation. "My name is Alice, Alice Page," Alice said, extending her hand towards the boy for him to shake. "I'm a second year, so I'm not a complete newbie, but still kind of new!

Alice turned her focus for a moment when she saw the familiar fourth, now fifth year coming up the row to sit next to her. "Hey Lexi!!!" Alice said with a huge smile, leaning forward so she could give Lexi a somewhat awkward sideways hug. "How was your summer and all your traveling?! I want to hear everything!"

"You're welcome," said Alice, giving Kurumi a warm smile. "And I know what you mean about the pumpkin juice. It's simply amazing!!!"

"Yeah there are always exeptions but well it would be boring if everyone got alone with eachother",Fee nodded.Sometimes fights were good to feel alive again."But when i came here i expected to find only friends in my own house",she told her friend,"gladly mad house oride has died down almost fully."Of course, there were still old fashioned students but that was the minority."And in the end yyou cant decide which house you want anyway."Its only the hat, so why judge people?!

The usual crowd.That sounded pretty cool,because knowing they had a solid gruop of friends they could always count on made Fee smile and feel happy.She was so glad she had met all of them at Hogwarts."Sure we could invite Selina",she suggested,"its going to be sooo fun.I want a light purple bubble this time."Last time Kurumi and Fee played bubblegum quidditch they had a blast and even forgot about the time a little.Hopefully they would find enough time to do it more than once. Y.W.H.O and her story was there too.Besides she had promised Alex to show him everything and she wanted to practise for the tryouts with Elllie and him.Ohhhh glitter...

Alex walked over to the Gryffindor table slightly hesitant. The old rival thing between Slytherin and Gryffindor was over. Right? Although he couldn't help but to feel slightly nervous about going there with his Slytherin robes. He only knew like four Gryffindor people and that weren't a lot, he woulnd't mind meeting more brave Lions.

Arabella-Marie was daydreaming when she saw a slytherin boy come over to the table and said "Hey you looking for anyone in paticular?"

"Yeah I guess that is true. It's just interesting that there was ever a really huge gap between houses. I mean everyone seems really nice to even contemplate loads of drama. Of course Adam warned me that drama is a bug thing here. But I'm hoping if I keep my head down no one will bother me with that."

Selina figured that living in a school with people and seeing them twenty-four seven would grow on her nerves sometimes. But as of that moment she had no quarrels with anyone. She just wanted to look at the term with a positive outlook. Drama was bound to come in heaps and loads. With her friends she would make it through. It was nothing that friends couldn't get through.

"So tell me Fee, do you like Quidditch?" The true Selina Skylar had come out. Her passion for the game could never really stay in too long.

Jacqueline walked up the Great Hall and sat down at the Gryffindor table.
The atmosphere was great. So many happy faces. And a lot of new kids waiting to be sorted. Oh,it was a year ago,she was standing there,frighted and scared. But it wasn't like that at all. She missed all her friends from Hogwarts and she is going to see them now! She couldn't be happier now.

Selina down from the podium where the Sorting Hat had just yelled out his decision. It was perhaps the most terrifying moment of her life.

When the hat had touched her soft red curls it seemed for a moment confused on where she would be. It spoke of how her entire family for generations had been Gryffindors and that it may be time for a change. She was okay with change, but the lack of decision drove to her the brim as the hat sat upon her head.

He then switched gears to Hufflepuff because she was fun loving and quirky. For almost a whole minute he went on about that house and how wonderful it would be to have another upbeat soul there.

Again he switched gears to Ravenclaw and commented on how driven she was. He said that she was not the brightest by natural talent. But because of her hard work and dedication she would be one of the best in her class. Ravenclass thrived on the best of workers.

Finally, he went to Slytherin. He commented how her passion to win at any cost was quite Slytherin. That her need to prove herself to everyone and succeed would suit her a fine Sltherin. Also her ginger hair complimented the color.

But all Selina could think about the entire time was how nervous she was. All of the words of the hat when in one ear and out the other. He then saw in her mind the loyal friend in her to Adam earlier on the train and it was then decided for her.

Gryffindor still rung in her ears as she got down and approached her table. Before she sat down with the rest of her fellow lions she went and changed into her Gryffindor uniform. As she approached the table she smiled brightly at Kurumi and Adam. She was now in their house and would be there for the next seven years. A weight had been lifted.

Alex reacted to someone speaking up and glanced around him to see if it was to him. Yupper, it was.

"Um, no not really." he admitted with a grin and scratched his neck. "Would you mind some company?"

Alex saw a girl sitting down by the Gryffindor table, she was around his age and he walked over there slowly. "Hey," he smiled. Oh that sounded very intelligent... "Can I join you?" he asked slowly.

Arabella-Marie smiled at the boy and said "Of course i don't mind some company i was pretty lonely anyway" Arabella-Marie had nobody chatting to her anyway

Sebastian Giordano walked into the famous Great Hall and tried to find a spot to sit at. Sure there were tons of people at all four tables but which table to sit at? He finally realized that the Gryffindor table seemed pretty nice and he spotted a seat from miles away. So he quickly took a seat and looked around, awkwardly. Now what? He knew practically no one. Where were all the people he had met in Diagon Alley? Now where were they? Ugh, this is what he hated about new schools. New people always got in the way, then again he wouldn't mind finding a new friend or two to talk to right about now instead of sitting here like a loner.

Watching from his lovely Slytherin Table, Evan focused on once more to the sorting that was going by as the name Selina was announced. That girl, whom he'd met at the train. He was pretty sure she would be a dedicated Slytherin. There was just... no other way. She had a fairly pure blood for Slytherin, he guessed, from what she'd talked. She also liked winning, and she had the courage. Perfect for Slytherin. So no need to even hear the decision--which was intriguingly taking so long!--because in a second or two he'd watch her walking to the...

Gryffindor Table!

He blinked for several minutes as the decision of the honourable hat rang in his ears. And he even had a hanging mouth. How could it be? How could it be?! He'd even convinced her of putting an end to her dorky house-line! It actually took him a few minutes to get over the first shock, and once he did, he directly went to the Lions' table.

"Hey!" he called after Selina as she was also walking there. "Gryffindor, eh?" And no, he wasn't going to congratulate. Because it wasn't a success, but merely a failure. He managed to grin though, because she deserved it.

Looking the table up and down, he could only see Sophie as being normal. The rest was... abnormal, in the politest phrase.

"At least you've got a pretty--I mean--nice prefect." He smiled at her. Yeah. That was always a plus.

Selina was on her way to her table when she heard a voice call out to her. She was certain she had heard the voice before. Whipping her red hair around she sought of the voice. Her blue eyes scanned the Great Hall until she found the source. It was the Prefect Evan from the Slytherin table.

For certain he was not pleased with her sorting. When they had talked on the train he had expressed his opinion that she belonged in Slytherin because of her attributes to that house. And to be honest, when the hat was on her head for a moment she did seriously consider to be put in Slytherin after his spiel. But the hat had chosen Gryffindor for a reason that would soon be revealed to her.

Looking up at the boy she called back, "I guess so." Selina was in shock herself. When she had walked up to the podium she was very unsure of where she was going to be put.

A small smirk tugged at her lips, "Jealous?"

Evan seemed like a nice guy, and just because she was a Gryffindor didn't mean she couldn't smirk like a Slytherin.

Finally she found who she was really looking for. "Hello. Miss me?"

"Good choice." Heather said laughing. "So what class are the most excited about taking this year?"

The Hat knew nothing. Really. NOTHING. First putting him and Iris in the same house, and then came Aaron--where was that boy by the way, he still couldn't ask Selina's question--now, look at that! Selina was doomed to be a dork for the rest of her life. He shook his head, not hiding his disappointment. But then, he chuckled at the boldness of the question. She wouldn't be a dork, it was obvious. Relief. At least, he could count two normal people in this house now.

Eyeing Sophie once again, he shrugged. "Never. I'm quite happy being among normal people, thank you." Hehehe.
