Gryffindor Common Room
The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through. "Flibbertigibbet!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes!
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home! There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby! | |

Witsy looked up smiling ready to giggle a little. "Oh you liked it, don't lie." she said sarcastically. "I'll be keeping an eye for you, then." she winked. "Wanna learn now? You're not leaving for any classes soon are you?" | |

And I thought of my parents and then for some strange reason I thought of my dad wiggling his ears. He can do it too! And I just tried. AND VAHLAW!" Nika burst out into laughter. It took a few minutes for her to settle down. "Sorry for even bringing that up. I am really random aren't I?" She took a deep breath. "Okay I'm done." Laughing time is over. "Oh." Nika's mouth formed a perfect "O" shape. "Charms." The class that Nika enjoyed, but wasn't much good at. She tried to read Nika's expression as Charms came up. It was hard, she was very solemn.
"Yeah, yeah you're my friend and I'll try to help you anyway I can, like you did with me and football" she smiled cautiously "Look, I'm not trying to make you feel bad about yourself on purpose! I'm sorry if I am, I just though... if you need help..." she shrugged and wished she hadn't said anything. Why didn't she just start a conversation about homework?.. or dragons! | |
