The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through.
"Flibbertigibbet!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes!
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home! There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby!

"Ancient Runes did not originate in Japan, so you don't have to worry about this," she said quietly and calmly holding her hands in small fists on her knees. She was NOT going to cry. She was determined this time to not cry. She had to show Adam that she could be strong. That she would be fine, well, as fine as she could be with him gone. "Adam, do you realize what you are telling me to do? You are telling me to just erase the best person I have ever met from my memory. You do know that you are my first friend ever, don't you? I had nothing, nothing, until I met you." She turned her head to look at the fire. No tears, come on Kurumi, no tears. "If you can forget me that easily...then you are not the person I thought you were," she said smiling sadly as she turned her gaze back to Adam.

Septimus listened from a nearby sofa, wondering why Adam was leaving and where he was going. What wouldn't Kurumi understand? Why was he cutting everyone out of his life? And did Ancient Runes really originate in Japan?
But more importantly, would he ever know the truth about his long lost brother?

"Yeah I do.I don't want to forget you- you were the only person who really understood me in my weird way, but holding onto me forever, when we know there is a little chance of interaction is just absurd."He said loudly, trying to make her understand.
For someone who was so intelligent, one that should have been placed in Ravenclaw but rather the Lion house, she was having trouble grasping the concept.
At the sound of 'first friend' he swallowed quite hard."I didn't know that part."He admitted.
Then he heard it the words that stung his heart. If she knew what he had said, had been thinking when he had discussed Mexico and Kurumi to Selina, well, their friendship was probably already dead.

Well, from the moment that Adam had said she was leaving. After all, even Edmond and Fee had broken their relationship off when he had left and Kurumi was sure that those two could make it.
Long distance, it was something that Kurumi had never considered, never even thought possible. Nor did she ever think she would be faced with a time where that could be a possible choice. At 13 and 12, it probably wasn't right, but Kurumi was afraid to let go. Afraid of having to start over. Afraid of getting hurt. She hugged her knees to her chest and stayed in that position for what seemed like eternity but was only really a few seconds before she had the courage to speak again.

She had feelings for him that she had never felt before. Whatever those feelings translate to, she wasn't sure. How could she right now? Being with Adam had brought her a lot of firsts, but she knew, if nothing else in the world were true, that he was her soul mate best friend. With this obstacle now being driven between them, she was unsure as to what would happen next, but she knew that she needed Adam - whether that meant a letter once a month or less, it didn't matter. He was one of the only constant things in her life.
Slowly and with shaking hands, she reached for Adams and laid it gently on top of his just as he nodded. Not sure of what that nod meant, Kurumi just smiled at him like an innocent angel. "I should, um, probably leave you alone," she said gently squeezing his hand. "You probably want some time to yourself..." She stood up, but still held onto his hand.

" Rene is planning the wedding" Rex said to Lucy. " Both of us can really keep our mind on classes and homework" Rex explained to Lucy. " If we need help, I promise we will call you and thanks for accepting the invitation" Rex smiled.
Lucy didn't actually think Rex would say that, she thought him like her elder brother "Congrats! And ofcourse i'm coming, how could i miss this?" she asked confusingly and said "It's good that you two are able to concentrate on the class. If it was my wedding i couldn't. Sep leaned back against the sofa. He had a lot on his mind, almost too much to handle. The dilemma with his father, of course. And now, just when he was so close to finding his brohter...he was leaving? And had feelings for KURUMI?? Not that there was really anything wrong with that. But he was only eleven and not really into romance yet so to him it was actually kind of gross. But, maybe he could try to help. Adam and Kurumi probably didn't really want his company right now, but he would help them. Yes, if he could comb his hair that morning, he could help them.
"Well I didn't know very much about the different houses, but if I did I would have it no other way. I love it here in Gryffindor!" Nika loved everything about her house, the people in it, and the common room! "Those cookies do look very good and Kurumi made them and I have heard she makes the best cookies ever! And I bet they will taste awesome!" Nika said laughing at her own choice of words. She stood up to go get some cookies for both Emily and herself.
Emily laughed with Nika. Cookies, friends and books! Was there anything hogwarts didn't offer?!?!

Nika's thoughts turned back to Emily. She didn't want to leave one of her best friends out. "Do you think that she could join us?"
Emily looked up when hearing her own name. Nika was talking to someone else. Fine.
She was used to it. Mabye they could at least all talk, then no-one would be left out. Huh...
She looked down at her books as Nika and the girl carried on talking. If Nika wasn't coming back mabye she should get started on some reading. Or homework... The smell of cookies was so strong though!
Fiona shuffled through the portrait hole and threw herself into a particularly squashy armchair. Fiona gave a huge sigh. What a day. she thought to herself. She was so exhausted from the day she didn't even bother trying to make it all the way to her dorm for fear of passing out on the floor. Fiona gave a look around the room. Lots of activity going on here, isn't there? Students were chatting and doing homework all around the common room. I wonder if anyone's up for a bit of chatting. Better than doing my potions homework that's for sure.

Septimus spotted a girl enter the common room. She must have been in the same year as himself. He really needed to figure out the Adam and Kurumi situation, but he also needed a distraction from all the dramatic interferences in his life. He moved over to sit beside her, all shyness forgotten. "Hi," he said to her, trying his best to hide his stress. "You looked like you could use some company."

Nika laughed while offering the cookies to Emily, "I was kinda hoping that you would like more than one." Nika looked waved the cookies in front of Emily's face, "You know you want them." Nika looked at Emily and sensed a little sadness, she immediately sat down and put her hand on Emily's shoulder, "What's wrong? Is everything alright?" She was afraid that she did something wrong. She quickly looked over at the cookies, maybe she took the wrong designs? Nika hoped nothing bad had happened to her best friend.

Patroclus nodded in agreement, "It was a nice balance of theory and practical I thought," Truebridge was an excellent professor, so it came as no surprise that the Lionboy had enjoyed the class. "Oh No!" he laughed, "Sorry I didn't mean to laugh, but that's kinda funny. You should write it into the text book as the Sneezing Rune!" he added, "I am sure it would be a hit!"
The male prefect was so thankful for Sophie's understanding, it had made the whole return to Cairo much more pleasent, knowing that they were well represented at school. "My father is a Wiz-Archeologist, meaning he deals with the study and preservation of ancient Magical Communities. He was honoured for his work on the 'Egypt Project'" Patroclus was emmensly proud of his father, his line of work truly was fascinating! "Had any prefect emergancies yet?" Patroclus asked, it was story swapping time!
Sophie smiled "Yes I liked Professor Truebridge’s lesson. Hasn’t he taught other subjects too?" The female prefect vaguely remembered that Professor Truebridge had been a professor on staff some years ago but she couldn’t remember in what subject. It hadn’t been runes though that much she remembered. As Patroclus laughed she couldn’t help but giggle a little too. "It’s okay, it was a bit comical. But I don’t think I’ll get extra points for calling it a sneezing rune on the homework. Think Truebridge will like the name?"
Patroclus spoke about his father’s work which made Sophie wonder if what her father did could be of equal importance. It probably wasn’t since he worked in the magical games & sports department. They didn’t exactly do much important preservation work. "Preserving ancient magical communities sounds like important but dangerous work. My father works in the magical games & sports department. It’s not as fascinating work I guess but planning the next quidditch world cup is too important."
Prefect emergencies?
Sophie had to think for a moment before telling Patrcolus about her two incidents which couldn’t be called emergencies. "At the feast I had to comfort a snake first year girl who was really sad for not being sorted into Gryffindor. And a few weeks ago I steered a second year girl who had a though family situation to deal with in the right direction. But otherwise no emergencies that has called for immediate action. How about you?"

Something wrong? Guess her face hadn't really showed the relief she had felt.
"Oh, no I'm fine! It's just when you were talking to that other girl, I kind of thought you might ditch me... that's happened to me before. Cause I'm not 'cool'."
Ow, memories were painful. Stupid muggle primary school...
"But your a true friend. Who was it you were talking to? Does she want to join us?" she smiled More friends! Hogwarts might just be the best thing that had ever happened to her!

"She was going to start on her divination homework and wanted to know if I wanted to join her. But I said I would if you would too." Nika smiled at Emily. "So would you like to? Nika was so happy that Emily liked her. She was afraid that Emily would take it the wrong way and think she was a bit creepy. No, Emily is more understanding than that, she corrected herself.
"Well, I don't know if I would like to do homework. I just like being here and taking advantage of our free time." Nika was in the mood for homework a few hours ago, but now. Now she just wanted to rest, relax, and be with her friends. "If you would like to I will," Nika added. "Do you think that every common room is like ours?," She wondered out loud."I really like our common room because it's so cozy, like you said and I feel so safe here." Nika looked around and then quickly took another cookie. She can't get enough of them.
