Gryffindor for the House Cup!
So how can you help Gryffindor win the house cup? House points are earned by attending class and completing homework assignments. If you've just noticed a class announcement or received a homework assignment, post in here and let everyone know! Remember to make sure your announcement hasn't already been posted.
Below you will find an updated list of all classes your character can attend and homework assignments he or she can complete. Remember to not post your character entering class after the lesson has already started. If you would like to attend a class that is already in session, just post as if your character has been in class all along. I guess I should have posted this sooner. Whoops,  Quote: {Arithmancy Homework 2} ✵ Create your own trophy. Be as creative as you like with it; you have two options to do this. You can either design your own using a graphics program or you can just be very detailed in your description of your trophy. But no matter how you choose to do it, make sure you include WHAT the trophy is for as well as any other pertinent details (Think: Who, What, When, Where, Why when considering what to include)
Worth 7 points [extra credit possible for outstanding and creative efforts*].
For credit PM me the description and/or graphic and include Character Name, User Name, House, and User ID Number.
Due: At the start of the third lesson, which is tentatively scheduled for on or around March 20th. But you'll be notified at least three days before the lesson begins =)
Note though, I will be flexible with that deadline to some extent

When: March 20th, approximately 9-10 pm PDT (around 4/5 am GMT)
(thread will open at some point earlier, for entrances and so on. depending on when I can set it up. I work until 8 pm, so I can't start it earlier. And I understand it's late for most people. The first part will just be theoretical/discussion, and I'll try to weigh participation toward the later parts for that reason)

Astronomy Extra Credit Assignment
What:
Using your newly cleaned telescope, then visit the observatory a minimum of five times, various times of the night, to try and spot some of the constellations mentioned in class. Note that if you're going after hours, then please obtain permission from Professor Hadley for being out of bed after hours due to class studies Or at least say you've got permission. I won't be terribly picky as long as you do make mention of it ;D
Document your sightings in a journal and perhaps provide illustrations if you desire.
Where: The Observatory
Worth: 20 points; 4 points for each "entry" in the journal.
Due: No later than March 31st, 11:59pm EST, or you risk not getting it marked in time.
Please send your finished works to Professor Hadley and include your Username, Character Name, User ID, and House. Also be sure to title the subject as "Astronomy Assignment".
