Gryffindor Boys' Dormitories
In the Gryffindor common room, you'll find two doors that open to spiral staircases. These staircases lead to both the boys' and girls' dormitories. Be sure that you proceed to the correct dormitory, though! There are strict house rules that prevent girls from entering the boys' dormitory and boys from entering the girls' dormitory! As a matter of fact, the stairs that lead to the girls' dormitory have been charmed to turn into a slide shall any boy attempt to climb them.
To be on the safe side, remember that boys' dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls' dormitories are upstairs and to the left. | |

There was no point talking about them not meeting before hand (even though it was quite strange), they knew each other now and that was what was important. Sighing, Jayce's mind continued to wander the memories of him and Opal. Merlin, he needed her here more than anyone. He was so confused about everything lately.. She always made things better. "Well.. yeah, i guess." Hm. He was right. Yeah.. "DUDE! I didn't ask her if i could bring her, she caught me whist packing things for Opal. I was going to use a shrinking spell and everything.. She would have never known," the Gryffindor shook his head in disappointment. Confused, Jay watched Legend whistle and then point to something sticking out from under his bed. It.. twitched. "Yeah, yeah. I do," He replied, staring at it. "A pet.. a pet fox? Wow, that's awesome. How'd you manage that?" Interesting. He'd never heard of a pet fox before.. Legend just got that much cooler in Jay's eyes. "Yeah, i was actually thinking about that.. Mom would notice that she's missing, but it'd be too late, wouldn't it?" He smirked at the plan. "Oh, right. This-" he said, pulling a picture out of his pocket and holding it up to Legend, "is Opal. She's like.. my best friend." He smiled fondly at the picture before putting it back. "The professors? Heck no, they'd never get to see her. Well, if she doesn't get out of course. She has a habit of wandering around town by herself. I can't imagine what she'd do here."
The boy nodded simply. "Yeah, fourth year. Towards the end of it actually.. So i guess you could say i was only here for a year," he shrugged. Everything was so much simpler back then. "Hmm.. Favorite subject. Errr.. Maybe.. Charms? That's always pretty interesting.. But Defense Against the Dark Arts is pretty cool as well. How about yourself? What's your favorite?"

Looking at Pluto's nose Legend grinned widely. Yeah, having a pet Fox was quite cool. "Well I got him when he was a little baby. Like new born puppy sized. I found him in the forest and he was injured, like he had been abandoned from his family, and he looked like he was there for a few days. So I couldn't just leave him right? 'Cause he was small I was able to take care of him without anyone noticing, and then a few months after I came to Hogwarts so I just...brang him with me." Very simple really. Pluto had learned to hide from a young age so there was no one Professors or anyone else would be able to find him. The only reason his dad even found out was because he told him. "Way to late by then! You should do it mate." It was HIS dog after all. Tilting his head to look at the picture Legend's mouth opened. "WOAH she's giant! What kinda dog is she?" She looked pretty awesome and strong. "Dude we gotta get her here then maybe Pluto could have a friend." And they could like fight! And him and Jayce could make bets on who would win.
"If you walk her early in the morning then I'm sure she wouldn't want to explore that much." Right? Because a giant dog exploring the castle might scare people. "Basically one year. No wonder." It made sense, Legend really didn't talk to new people last year. "Nice! I love those too Charms is easy, but DADA is my favorite...except for the year we learned the Unforgivables. That was...not fun." Legend did not want to learn how to kill people. "Oh! And Muggles Studies is waaay easy."

The second year dorm was empty, and Christopher was exhausted. He plopped down on his scarlet bed, sighing. It'd been quite a crazy week. He was definately glad to be back. Hogwarts was his home after all. Kicking off his shoes, he rolled over, staring out the window. He wondered when Elyon would return Baltimore. He hoped she wouldn't be disappointed when she saw that Mum didn't write back. She never would. Not as long as they were at Hogwarts. He sighed again, plunging his face into his pillow. | |

Sitting crosslegged on his bed, Sabel watched as the black cat found purpose in stalking his hand that was dipped under the covers. A lump that moved this way and that on slight intervals seemed to have the creature utterly fascinated, and on the prowl for something tasty to eat. Ears back and tail twitching, Merlin hunched low in front of him, haunches wiggling as he prepared to launch. One...two...three and POUNCE!
Sabel had to laugh at the kitten as he gripped his blanket-covered hand, flopping onto his side and using his back legs to kick at the fabric quilt with all the gusto of a feline on a mission. Tiny, sharp teeth gripped the lump of his knuckles, gnawing with the determination of a stubborn little will. It was only when Sabel flicked his fingers out, that the creature let go, jumping up and darting around him only to poke his head over his knee and peer at the lump, ready to pounce again. Really, it was endless hours of entertainment for the fuzz-ball, but his hand could only take so many turns of being used like a toy mouse. And he could only reach under the covers so far.
With a sudden flicker of an idea had him removing his hand from beneath the blankets, much to the disappointment of Merlin. He didn't make his furry-friend wait long though, quickly drawing off his socks and rolling them together before stuffing them under the blankets. With a grin and a new excitement, he unholstered his wand, pointing it at the lump under the blankets. Merlin watched with dissatisfaction from behind his leg, an almost bored expression on his face as he glanced up at Sabel.
Not one to be daunted by the expectations of his friend however, Sabel wiggled his eyebrows a little as if to say 'just wait', before aiming his wand at the bulge in the blankets, a rather confident 'Depulso' leaving his lips as he snapped his wand up towards the foot of the bed in the intention of sending the balled socks zooming towards the end.
Nothing.
A frown and he tried it again.
Still nothing.
Same for the next two tries, each with a more forceful indication of the direction he wished.
Still nothing. Until his third....
"Depulso!"
No sooner had it left his lips, than the blankets beneath him gave a powerful jerk and drive towards that very end, sending him sprawling on his back and Merlin skittering off the bed in mad panic. Given there was no more weight on the covers, and still quite a bit of concentration on the direction of the enchantment, the covers had no resistance in flying right off the end of the bed, only stopping when they connected with the bed on the other side of the room.
Wide eyes went from the accumulation of linens crumpled at the base of the opposite bed, to the socks still lying in wait upon the mattress to the door Merlin had skittered out of. With a groan, he dropped his head back onto the mattress, flicking his wand twice at the socks and muttering 'Depulso' to send them skittering off to join the sheets. Next time, he had to remember to cast at the exact object, not what was covering the object.
With a groan, Sabel rolled himself off the bed and made quick work to tidy the room back up before heading out of the dormitory in search of his startled kitten.

Christopher wandered in to the Boys' dorm, and threw himself down on his deep red, four poster bed. His only friends were first year girls, and he knew that this had to change. Especially since he was upset with one of them, and the other one was her best friend, so she'd be upset with him too. Why were girls so hard to figure out? He needed a best friend. A guy at that. But he was sort of an outcast when it came to his fellow Gryffindor second years. Or anyone for that matter. He sighed and pulled out his poetry book, reading his classic, Muggle, Shakespeare works.

Levi slumped into the dorm, drenched to the very soles of his feet. To shake his boring schedule up, he'd cut one of his classes to go read a couple of muggle comics by the lake. So he wouldn't be spotted, he had taken shelter in one of the trees for a while. It had been pretty chill for an hour until he heard a cracking sound underneath his long legs. Lo and behold, the branch and had snapped and he had fell face-first into the lake amidst a chorus of laughter from other students. Very smooth.
Levi sighed, noticing another guy was in the room. He'd have to change later. He pulled a towel out from his suitcase and wrapped it around himself, sitting on a chair by his own bed. He stared down at the soggy remains of his comic, frowning. Was this supposed to be karma? After a long, awkward silence he asked the stranger, "Rough day for you too?" | |

He must be real intelligent in order to under stand all that nonsense, thought Adam. He, himself, had trouble learning about regualar class work, forget Shakespeare.

Christopher was close to finishishing his book for the eighth or ninth time, when he saw another Gryffindor wander into the room- soaking wet..? He was about to say something, but he couldn't really find any words to ask this boy why on earth he was sopping wet. Just as he was about to ask his fellow Gryffindor if he was alright, the other boy spoke up.
Christopher gave a weak smile and shrugged. "That obvious, huh?" He hadn't really bothered to hide his emotion on his face earlier, so he could suppose that both Gryffindors hadn't had the best day. "May I ask why you're soaking wet? It is rather peculiar." He just couldn't help but wonder why this guy looked as though he jumped into the lake! Quote:

Christopher looked up to see a familiar redhead peering over at his book, a confused look on his face. "Oh, hello Adam," he said, grinning. He'd been asked the question all the time, but he just couldn't help but read Shakespeare! "Classical Muggle works have always been my favourite. It's quite beautiful, actually." He loved old Muggle literature. He'd grown up on it, and he'd never found any other book quite as intriguing as these.
"Have you ever even tried it?" He was sure Adam would enjoy it too, if he'd ever give it a chance. "What're the kinds of books that you like, I'm sure you read, don't you?"
