It was early, the morning after the feast, and everyone was probably clustered in the Great Hall, eating toast and enjoying their last moments of free time before classes started.

Everyone that was, except Wesley. Small face almost gaunt, eyes puffy, she entered the second floor bathroom with a look of determination. The Hufflepuff set her schoolbag by one of the sinks before walking over to the windows, lined in rows of metal-cased squares near the ceiling. Unholstering her wand, she swung it forward and up, whispering the simple spell she had watched her mother perform countless times. The targeted window opened with a creak of agreement, allowing unfiltered sunlight and autumn air to pass through.

Without even a small smile of satisfaction, Wesley returned to the sink, retrieving her bag, and lifted the flap to pull out a journal. Leather discolored and beginning to crack, the teenager flipped through its crackling pages until she reached the last few. For a brief second, she looked at the curly script and Spello-Taped letters. Then she ripped them out with a vicious yank, dropping the book, and crumpled them.

Tossing them in the porcelain sink, she reached for her wand and pointed it at the paper. "Incendio," she muttered, waving her wand in what was supposed to be flame shape, but looked more like a bunch of scribbles, and ending the incantation with a flick and twist of her wrist.

Alit in orange, the parchment spat and curled black.

Then, when nothing remained but ashes and gnarled bits of Spello-Tape, Wesley turned on the tap, washing it down 'til all that remained was white. Finished with what she had set out to do, she turned the faucet off, reholstered her wand, tucked the journal back in her bag, lifted it onto her shoulder, and left.

Selina walked into the lavatory looking for some towels. Earlier that morning at breakfast down in the Great Hall a nice and juicy jelly donut had spilled out on her tie. The last thing she needed was to walk into Lafay's class and be ridiculed for getting jelly on her tie. Potions was already not her thing and therefore she was not a favorite of Lafay. Sprinkle on the fact that she was a Gryffindor and that she was terrible in her class, the last thing she needed was another cause for Lafay to hate her.

She went over to the sink and looked down. There etched on the ground was the trials of The Golden Trio. She then looked around and realized it was the very bathroom of Moaning Myrtle. For the first time it really clicked for Selina that she was attending the same school as Harry Potter.

Elektra walked into the girl's bathroom. Why she was on the second floor was a mystery to herself. She jut felt like walking around and Elektra hasn't really been to this bathroom. When she walked in she stopped and chuckled. "You know I feel like no matter where I go I tend to see you or Violet wherever I am. It's like we got this...psychic bond or something." she said joking around with Selina and walked over to her.

Violet ran into the Girl's Bathroom calling her name,"Selina Skylar! I know you're in here!" Her blonde hair was pulled into two buns today, with some strands dangling the way she wanted it. She looked around and then saw her immediately,"And why may I ask did you leave the Great Hall in such a hurry!" Then Violet looked down seeing the jelly stain on her tie. She gasped covering her mouth and pointed at it with one hand. "Not jelly Selina!" Violet's eyes widened.

"Violet it isn't funny. The last thing I want is for Lafay to see me like this. Seriously, stop laughing." The redhead replied her face heating up more and more as the moments passed. She was a ginger so the more she grew embarrassed the more red her face was as a whole.

Turning to Elektra bright red she replied, "And you stalked me first, Ms. Draven."

Elektra quickly turned around seeing Violet and she jumped. "Violet?" She said looking a little confused and then looked back at Selina then looked at the stain on her tie. "It's just some Jelly. Why is that a big deal Vi?"

Violet put her hand on her chest in shock. "I wasn't laughing Selina!" She then crossed her arms and looked at Elektra saying,"Elektra Draven! Jelly is NOT so easy to get off of clothes! It is very delicious when you eat it but very malicious when it tries to eat you!"

Laughing at Violet's shock at her accusation Selina placed her hand upon her chest equally as shocked. "I believe you were laughing. The horror that Ms. Violet La Veela could do such a thing."

"And yeah, I agree with Elektra. It's just jelly."

Going back over to the sink she pulled out her wand and whispered, "Scourgify." She knew she should have used soap rather than her wand. But she was a witch right? What was the point of a wand if you were not going to use it as a crutch. Who needed to learn how to clean to normal way anyway.

Turning back to her friends she said, "Guys, I have a present for you two. My Dad sent it in the post the other day. I was writing home about the pair of you and he sent these. In my family it is a tradition that when you make life long friends you give them a gift. It's a Jewish thing... just go with it."

Elektra looked at Selina and then at Violet and then back at Selina. "Oh...that's-that's nice Selina." Elektra had an awkward pause and then spoke. "What is it?"

Violet then said,"Don't confuse me Miss Skylar! I know when I am and am NOT laughing! And this moment I was not!" Then she smiled brightly, gasping, and then began clapping her hands excitedly. Along with that the little blonde began to jump up and down eagerly. Violet then said,"I LOVE presents! Yay!" A little giggle then followed right after.

"Calm yourself, Violet. And I know this is weird but my Dad saw them and thought that they were pretty. So he bought them and sent them. I kind of agree. So just go with it." Selina felt very awkward. She knew that they would both appreciate them, but געבן גיפס צו פריינט had always been a weird thing in her opinion. Her father and mother valued it though so she would do the same.

She outstretched her and gave them each a little box. The box was wrapped in light red and had a yellow ribbon adorning it.

Violet smiled blushing a little and stopped jumping. She listened to Selina and noticed how awkward she was feeling. Violet gently took her box from Selina saying a light,"Thank you Sel." She opened box and her eyes widened immediately. Violet looked up at Selina and her mouth dropped after she saw the gorgeous yellow and gold jewelry representing her Hufflepuff colors. She immediately hugged Selina,"Selina! Thank you! I love them! I love love them! So much!"

Elektra grabbed her box and opened it slowly thinking that something was going to pop out o the box and scare her, but when she opened it her mouth dropped. "Oh, my God Selina this is beautiful. I love it! Thank you!!" she said and quickly hugged Selina. "Aww I even got a snake necklace. This is just too cute."

Selina blushed as her two friends hugged her. She knew that the two of them were being awful nice to such a small gesture and it made her feel good. At the beginning of the summer she was so afraid that Hogwarts was going to be difficult and that she would have no friends. But now that she was here that all was proven false, minus Potions but who really counts that? She was so glad to have such good friends.

"It's not a big deal. וואס ס מייַנער איז דייַן." She replied. Realizing they had no idea what she just said she translated, "It's yiddish for what's mine is yours."

Violet's smiled immediately faded when Selina spoke to her in Yiddish. She wasn't sure if she should be offended or not at first and was getting ready to say something in French until she found out that it wasn't rude at all. Violet then said,"Ooooohh okay!" She giggled a little saying,"Well like I said I LOVE it!"

Selina laughed at how offended Violet looked until it was translated. But once it was she flipped back into her bubbly, happy self. It was amusing how quickly Violet could go from angry to happy and vice versa.

Continuing she said, "Sorry, whenever I'm talking about Jewish things with Yiddish of Hebrew comes out. It's my whole families thing. And you speak French right? Say something in it!" Selina loved the sound of French, there was something so elegant and regal about it.

Elektra stepped back a little. WHAT DID SHE JUST SAY?! Elektra though for a minute and said. "Shalom!" She gave an awkward smile and she looked at Violet. "I think that's what you're suppose to say, but I could be wrong. Or...or is it La cheim?"

Before Violet could say anything she heard Elektra's comment and just closed her eyes smiling. Then she busted out laughing hysterically at Elektra's comment. Violet went on like that for about 3 minutes until she was able to calm herself down and answer Selina's request. She coughed clearing her throat a little bit and then went on to say in her sophisticated French accent,"Oh là là, il semble que le chat est coincé sur pied d'Elektra! Quelqu'un se herbe à chat et à attirer l'animal à sa litière!" Then Violet looked at Elektra smiling.

Selina shook her head, "La cheim or לעכאַים means literally to life. But it's kind of like a cheer or bottoms up kind of thing. I don't say it much, but my grandfather says it all of the time when he is drinking. And שלום or shalom means hello. So um I'm really not sure why you just said that..." Selina giggled.

"So your Greek, say something funny."

Selina confused replied, "And that means?"

Elektra chuckles and then shrugs. "Alright if you insist. Θες να πω κάτι αστείο; Εντάξει, το ζητήσατε. Selina Skylar έχει μια φωτιά κάτω. Αχ, χάσετε Violet να σε μεγάλο κρεβάτι σουτιέν μου. LADY MARMALDE! ΜΟΚΑ ΣΟΚΟΛΑΤΑ! Fiesta .... ναι uhmmm." Elektra gave a cheesy smile.

"Do I even want to know what that means...?" Selina paused for a minute and continued, "Nope. I have no interest to know what that means or why you just said that. Yep moving on."

Knowing Elektra she had criticized her ginger hair and made some other comment about something bad. That smile was never good.

Violet smiled saying,"I just said something random. I just said,'Oh dear, it seems that the cat is stuck on Elektra's foot! Someone get catnip and lure the animal to the litterbox!" She looked at Elektra speak in Greek and smiled. Only this time when Elektra had said..WHATEVER she said Violet took offense and slapped her. Then Violet said immediately,"Oh my gosh Elektra I am soo sorry! I just felt very offended and didn't know what to do!"

Elektra gasped and touched her face after Violet slapped her. "What the bloody hell is wrong with you youy crazy French girl?!" Elektra said yelling a bit. "All I said was random things. In no way was I insulting you. Ow!!!"

Selina suppressed a giggle at this whole charade. No other form of entertainment was needed. This was fine enough for Selina. Rolling her eyes she said, "We both know you just said something offensive. Don't lie... your no good at it."

Selina awaited the smirk that was sure to come and the "uh-heh" that would follow soon after.
