Twas true. She was getting spoilt and lazy lately. Mhm.

"Whatchu think of everythin'? My birthday presents from Sal. They're real diamonds in the necklace and the tiara," she whispered as she gently touched them both in turn. She didn't know what to think of it all... no one had ever cared so much as to give her something so precious.

Giiiiigggle. "Anyway... Ima miss you while we are away. I just wanted to give you a little something that I had been saving to give you." Reaching into her bag she extracted the tea pot and held it out for her little friend. "I saw it and immediately thought of you," she said with a big smile

Kurumi's eyes nearly bugged out of her head when she took a closer look at everything. The jewelry was absolutely stunning and, while Kurumi really was happy for her Mama Lion and Papa Snake, she couldn't help but feel a sting of jealousy. For one, Adam had never really given her anything - he had even forgotten her birthday this year. Then again, she had been avoiding people on her birthday since she never really saw it as a reason to celebrate. There was also the fact that she still did have a schoolgirl crush on the older Slytherin boy.

"They are beautiful," she said simply admiring the sparkle of the 16 that Lexi wore around her neck.

In the next instant, Lexi was presenting her with a gift and her cheeks flushed an instant pink. The teapot and cup set was literally cute as a button. Her jaw dropped and she nervously, as if it would break at the slightest touch reached out for the gift. "Lexi...t-t-thank you," she said as she took the gift from the lioness in one hand and used her other to fumble around in the brown leather bag she had slung over her shoulder until she found a small box containing cookies especially baked for Lexi. "These are for you," she said handing over the box tied with a pink ribbon. "Happy Birthday."

Cass smiled up at Rex "That's the best advice I've heard all day." She said as she straightened herself up and fixed her messy hair "You're right. the best revenge is showing him that I am soooo alright." Then she hugged the older Gryffindor and said "Thanks Rex, you're the best."

Lexi had had about the exact same reaction when Sal told her the stones were in fact real. She found herself running her index finger over the necklace as Kurumi eyed it. "I... They really are, aren't they. No one has ever done anything like this for me... " she said with fresh tears springing to her eyes.

Lexi smiled brightly at the little lion cub as she flushed pink and took the teapot/cup from her. "No, thank you. For being such an amazing little Gryffindor. I am really proud to call you a friend, Kurumi. You are like the little sister I never had." Cue little sniffles.

Awwwwwwwwww!

Taking the box she untied the little ribbon and peered inside as she opened it a crack. "Awwww! They are so adorable! Thank you Kurumi!" She would have hugged the little girl had she not had her hands full.

Kurumi blushed an even deeper shade of pink when Lexi called her her little sister. Growing up in a family with three older brothers and a mother who, despite loving her fiercely, was afraid to look into her violet eyes, Kurumi never had an older woman to look up to and talk about things with. Now, at the end of her second year, she was sure that she had found one.

"I...I...I think of you like a big sister," she whispered shifting her gaze down to her shoes.

She took a few moments to compose herself, namely all the blushing, before returning her gaze to match Lexi's. "Lexi, are you....are you and Sal going to get married?"

"Hey kiddo, what did I tell you the other night? Be confident. Speak up... " she said as she bent a little to look Kurumi in the eye. No looking at shoes now, child. "We ARE family as far as I am concerned."

Whoa... she had NOT seen that one coming. At. All. "I hope so... one day. But, I really don't know, Kurumi. Why do you ask?" she said softly.

Mannnnn. Was it just her or was it HOT in there all of a sudden? Lexi tugged at the neck of her tshirt, loosening it a bit. Sweat beaded at her upper lip also. Sheesh. The kid asked the TOUGH questions.

"S-S-Sorry," she stammered trying her best to not look at her shoes. Maybe it would be alright if she looked at Lexi's princess shoes? Her eyes wouldn't look so down casted then.

Kurumi waved her hands in front of her face so quickly that the air around them had been disturbed and it probably looked like she was fanning Lexi so that she wouldn't faint. "N-N-No reason," she blushed turning pink and the tips of her hair blushing a little as well. "Just...wondering how...you know he's the one...."

Right now, she really wished that they were back in the girls' dormitory so she could hide under the scarlet covers of her bed.

Patroclus had partied too hard that the Gryffindor After party last night, so there was no way that he was dragging himself from the comfy luxurious seats of the Prefect Compartment, however he need to get his address to Lexi.

So after a bit of tricky magic, a paper aeroplane was seen flying to the front compartments on the train. Arriving at it's destination the plane unfolded, and revealed;

"Oui,Oui mon cherié",Fee giggled.Her french wasnt that good but to joke around with her boyfriend it was enough.And Hugo seemed to like it.Hehe.Smiling at the Ravenclaw next to her she didnt know what she wpould do without him.Just sitting here made her hapy and thinking about their summer made her feel all giddy.This stupid effect he had on her."I cant wait to start our summer",the blonde nodded,"actually it doesnt really matter here we go as long as you are with me."Ohhhh,did she just blurt that out? Noooes.But it was true."I am going to owl you a lot when we go home",she laughed.Of course the Slytherin was excited to see her family again but without Hugo it only made her half happy.

"Ohhh i am with Cass and Freya too",Fee giggled," i actually have more than one compartment."All her friends didnt fit in one so the girl switched all the time.Hehe."I know",she sighed,"i can barely stand the thought that you're going to be away and we cant see eachother for so long."It was freaking her out to be honest. "Oh I always find time for reading! I think everyone should make time, you can learn so much from reading. I want to try to read the whole library before I leave Hogwarts!" She wasn't kidding. She'd totally try to!
She laughed a little and licked her quill. "Well there is Azkaban. That's a wizard prison in the middle of the north sea." So it would be cold!

"Oh ok thanks..." she sat quietly an ate her quill for a bit. "I'm so excited!" Yep, that was random.

"OH! Guys!" she cried opening her trunk. "I almost forgot. I bought these for you guys..." she smiled producing the friendship bracelets she'd bought for her two best friends.
She handed Nika the pink and Halle the red, smiling. She'd picked the colour she'd though her friends would like. She sat back down and tied the black and white one on her own wrist. She coudn't stop smiling!

Lexi smiled softly at Kurumi and shook her head slightly. She would get that girl to have some Gryffindor courage before it was all said and done.

Lexi began to fan herself as well... that question from... Kurumi had caught her off guard. Really. "How do I know he's the one? Oh that's easy. I feel complete now. When he looks at me, speaks to me, touches me... I feel like some part of me that had been missing is now there. My heart feels whole again." It was a good description in her opinion.

Oh. OH! Paper aeroplane. OH! It unfolded. She should have known it was charmed. Heheh. OH. Taking the paper she read it over a few times and then folded it neatly and tucked it into the pocket of her pants.

"Sorry, the address to Patroclus' house," Lexi explained as she looked back to her little lion cub. "And when someone is THE ONE, babe, your whole world will flip upside down. Everything changes. You'll know it when it happens. I promise. And it better not happen for a long while to come." Really. If her little sister person fell in love she would have to hex the little boy that was RESPONSIBLE for it. Mhm.

What? Haha, Vashti was being hilarious now, no? He couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. He was nowhere near 'good' during that last game. The boy had only blocked ONE shot. ONE. It was perfectly clear that Vashti had been too focused in the Quaffle than anything else. Something HE should've done, by the way.

"Er, thanks." Well, he USED to be a great Keeper, but like his Arithmancy skills, the Quidditch ones also flew away with the customized broom. It was a curse, he could blame Vindictus for having them make that broom.

He smiled next, because she was kind of right. That was the best way he could talk about the outcome. Second placing. It wasn't nearly as bad as being last with the House points, right?

And...they seemed to agree on something, though, that the year may have been good, but not that great? Her answer denoted that, "The next one will be better." He declared it, okay? Never mind who leaves, who stays, the next year WILL be better. It better be. And now that London seemed to be oh-so-near, he was actually glad he'd decided to change after leaving Jake's compartment oh-so-many hours ago.

He was ready. Wasn't he?

Mmm. Finlay was feeling a little nervous, but he'd put on his best behaviour, and try tyo impress them. It wsa all he could do really. "I look forward to it." He nodded with a big smile. He really did. It would be nice to meet her family, let them know how happy he was with Marie. It would surely make them like him a little bit. It wasn't as if he was a bad guy anyway, he only wanted the best for Marie. "Have you got your grandfather a present?" Because Finn assumed that it would be nice for him to get her grandfather on, but he wasn't too sure what to actually get him. Didn't want to make the man upset or angry on his birthday.

"I hope so." Finlay smiled, kissing her gently on the lips. "I'll be on my best behaviour." He grinned at her. He made her happy, so he only hoped that would be enough to make her parents happy.

Simon had been left alone when Kurumi had disappeared sometime after Kyle had, the boy not able to keep from sighing. The trip well on its way, he wasn't really in the mood to get up at the moment and venture around to find some of his other friends or acquaintances in the various other compartments. Unfortunately being by himself allowed his mind to wander as he stared out the window at the quickly passing scenery and back to the memories and thoughts brought up by Kurumi's earlier question.

" I am so happy you would even listen to my advice" Rex told Cass." Remember, " Revenge is a dish served cold" Rex said to Cass." I am the best, thanks" Res sort of blushed and hugged cass.

" We are so popular we need the whole train" Rex told Fee." You can see me at Rene's and my place and of course at Jason's, too" Rex explained to Fee.

"Really!?! I'm just sure that they wouldn't try to steal our stuff because they want to be mean!" Nika was shocked that no one had ever thought that way. "We should make a nargle support club! You know I think I'm even going to donate a pair of my shoes to them next year for christmas!" Nika nodded her head in all seriousness. "I love all sorts of creatures! And I wanna become a vegetarian, like you Elyon. Do you think you can help me?"

Nika nodded and tried to let the information seep into her head. Making sure Halle couldn't see, she looked at Emily with a raised eyebrow. She hoped that her friend was able to understand all of that. If Emily could remember it then Nika would be off the hook!

"Oh right ten, I remember now..." Sort of. Nika has such a horrid memory. "Yeah... maybe." Nika tried to sound hopeful, but she knew her sister would probably refuse. Nika just needs to talk to her that's all.
"Oh my goodness!" She looked at the bracelet that Emily had handed her. "I love it Emily! Thank you!" She flipped it over a few times in her palm. "You know I'm actually thinking of dying my hair pink! I love that color!" Nika held the bracelet up to her hair. "What do you think? Like this, but a little bit darker. Kinda like a red-pink."
"Nice to meet you too Cass!" Nika bobbed up and down. All of the sudden her smile fell and replacing it was a look of great concern again. "Crying?" Nika bit her lip. She hated it when people were unhappy. "It's okay I cried at the end of the term feast too. All my seventh year friends are leaving." That is why Cass is crying, right?
"Oh awesome, an Auror!" Nika smiled to cover her confusion. "Umm what is an Auror?" Being a muggleborn had it's disadvantages for sure.


"Gryffindor." Nika blurted out immediately. "Actually he was at the common room dance party. I think you've met him, Jacob, before." She was sure of it. Nika saw them talking in the courtyard once. "Yeah see when we talk we talk a LOT. So I know a lot about him and I think he knows a lot about me now. We both have a lot of the same interests actually!" Nika turned a light shade of pink. "Hey! Don't tease me Rex." she told him while giggling.

"Oh yeah once we get back from the summer holiday then I will be a second year! I can't wait!" Nika jumped up and down in her seat.

Emily caught Nikas face and smiled. Good thing she had a good memory! Nodding at her friend she gave a little wink then went back to her sugar quill. Oh no! It was nearly all gone!

"No problem." she blushed admiring her own "I just wanted something for the three of us, so we know we'll be friends forever!" They would be. She could tell.
"Oh that would be cool..." dyeing her hair... pink? "I quite like your natural colour though. But pink is also cool. A lot of people have different colour hair at Hogwarts don't they?" Was that considered wierd or not?

yeah your right,This is a shocker i have a sister and an older brother going to hogwarts.I think im going to go crazy with older siblings.Ahhh I bought you a muffin and butterbeer,here is the half of my candy.

"They are so pretty!!" She especially liked her own. It was the perfect one for her. "Hmm I've never really noticed I guess." Nika knew that out of all her friend Emily wouldn't be such a big fan of her new decision for a hair change, but Nika wanted a way to express herself. Pink really matches her personality and she has always wanted to dye her hair. "Well I asked my dad about it and he didn't really seem to care. I can't wait to show everyone!" She bobbed up and down. Too much energy. Maybe she shouldn't have eaten all of that pudding.

"Yeah but it would be nice having them with you!" Nika laughed. She was a bit jealous of Hannah actually. "I wish my sister could go to Hogwarts she would love it here." Nika looked down at the treats in Hannah's hands. "Wow? For me?" She eyed the butterbeer with her eyes wide open. "I've never had a butterbeer before!"

" Well good choice, a Gryffindor" Rex told Nika." I seemed to remeber Jacob a little" Rex said to Nika."Well, since you know a lot about each other and if "Mr. "Squides" approves, I expect an owl on your relationship with Jacob" Rex explained to Nika.

Kurumi listened to Lexi as she spoke and swore that she saw little hearts and twinkling stars appear in the girl's eyes. Blinking a few times, she came to the conclusion that it had to be some sort of trick of the light, but then again, Lexi did look as though she were about to float away.

"Thank you Lexi," the little Gryffindor blushed wondering IF she would ever get that feeling. She thought she HAD already with Adam, but that seemed just as likely as Walnut being able to swim across the Black Lake. She had been 11 when she had met him and while he had turned her world upside down, namely in becoming her first friend, she didn't feel the same aura pulsing from her as she did Lexi.

That being said, Lexi was unique and VERY sparkly at the moment.

Then she got a bit confused. Patroclus' address? "Are you going to visit Patroclus over the summer?"

Yeah but if they didnt think i was annyoing little sister.Yes for you she said with a smile.try it you might like butterbeer.I was drinking since i was 12 she i know how it taste.

Lexi shook herself from her gushing and smiled down at Kurumi. "You're welcome, luv. Trust me... you will think you have found the one MANY times before you actually do. And when you do... everything changes, it makes all those others look silly," she said as she patted Kurumi's arm gently. She took note of the pink in the little lion's hair and smiled proudly.

"Oh that? Salander and I are going with Patroclus and his family to Greece. They offered to take us to the isles so we could save some money and not be ripped off by locals or anything like that. We have to go to his house to catch a portkey to Athens," Lexi explained with a smile. "This summer is going to be epic. In every sense of the word," she said with a beaming smile.

"Well, I sort of have multiple personalities," he explained to her. "I never really know when I'll be serious and sulky or happy and hyperactive. I guess I'm just a little random like that."
