The driver and snack lady sit up front in the driver's cab, but there are plenty of other compartments up here. Prefects have their very own!

Okay. That made her smile disappear. Instead, Ellie GASPED. "You've never even ridden one?" Mind. Blown. "You should! You don't HAVE to go high, you know." Isn't that what the ickle and inexperienced did in Vindictus' lessons?

Ohhh. Well. That made Ellie feel better. There would be a SERIOUS problem if she was GRADUATED and hadn't even ridden a broom.

Mop? Was that that lesson last term? Where they flew magic carpets, too!!! Gah! That was so fun! Nothing beat a broom, though. The mops sucked. Annie definitely shouldn't base flying off of those.

But getting hurt was PART of it. Well, of Quidditch. Ellie didn't really think anyone got hurt just from landing. "You know YOU control the landing, right?" Therefore, she could land as hard or soft as she pleased. "Don't you get hurt in football?" There was a huge ball pelting through the air, after all. Nothing like Bludgers, but still, someone was BOUND to get hurt.

Oh. BEAM. It was back.

But she oh-so-modestly shrugged. "I grew up with it. I'm used to everything." That WAS modest, right?

She was gonna 'splode into a ramble of Quidditch in a second. If she kept being FLATTERED like that.

"I know you will." To be honest it was probably quite a good thing, because he really did want to stay fit. Especially considering that he had his trial for the the Montrose Magpies during the summer, had to be on top form for that.

"I wouldn't so much call it vain as I would confident. Being with you has made me see that I really am a beautiful person. You make me feel that way." Yep, it was true, Finlay made her feel like the most beautiful girl in the world every time they were together. Even when they weren't together she felt that way now.

"Yeah, Mia said there would be lots to do around there." She had a feeling she wasn't talking about just hanging out and doing stupid fun stuff either. She remembered Mia telling her about how she had to work at the commune. Marie just didn't know if that meant she was going to be expected to work too. Well she would be finding out soon enough. She would be at Mia's in a week. "I can tell you stories about my time at Mia's and you can tell me about your trip with Jim." And there better not be any face bashing in those stories either.

"Of course I will. Gotta keep my future Magpie healthy don't I." Yep, she was confident that they were going to love him once they seen him play. "Do you know yet when the trials are?" Even though it meant more time that they didn't get to spend together she was excited for him to be trying out for the team. When he was gone would also be the perfect time for her to go visit Matty too.

Emily was off in her own little world, daydreaming... reliving old memories... thinking about what the future might have in store for her. She had hardly noticed that she wasn't alone.

Oh wow Kyle's Aunt worked at the ministry?... "Perhaps I might see her", she said smiling, though unless they were in the same department it would be unlikely, after all the Ministry did employ a lot of people.

Emily couldn't help but laugh as Kyle told her of the awkward moment she had witnessed, "Yep... it does happen. I've walked in on my fair share of awkwardness in my seven years"... and created her fair share of them too. Oh yes, Vindictus was still fresh in Emily's mind, she was not going to forget that very quickly... she regretted not paying more attention at the time though. Perhaps then she'd have kissed him properly and not the silly bread roll... still she couldn't beleive she had done the deed in the first place.

"Don't have to much planned, just a lot of preperation... I'm looking at buying an appartment in London, that way I'll be closer to work. Hopefully I find something.".... Mmmm yes she was looking forward to getting her own place. Not having to worry about her mother and all the misery.

Kyle nodded, when Emily said she might see her aunt there was a distinct possibility there but she had no clue if it would pan out. If it did that would mean it would probably be during training. She smiled, before commenting, "Yeah it is more awkward when you actually might think the guy is a bit on the - er - attractive side of the, well spectrum." She laughed and smiled over to Emily listening to what she had said. "I get that, hopefully the training goes well," she smiled.

"Ah, no big plans really - just talked to a Slytherin guy Matt about getting supplies together he was pretty nice." She smiled, running a quick hand through her hair it finally settled down to a point where she didn't look like someone who was continually shocked statically or electrically. "Other than that nothing really - hopefully you find a place as well - I know sometimes there are lofts above the shops in Diagon Alley that have listings...that and there's probably a little nicely hidden magical loft near the ministry." She smiled wondering what the name would be - Hogshead Apartments - something muggles would think sounded dastardly.

Apparently there weren't any completely empty ones though. But there was one with just Jacob in it. The Captain wouldn't mind, would he? Spike shrugged to himself, and pushed open the door.

"Is there room for a kid and his dinos?" he asked the older 'Claw. Though he didn't exactly wait for an answer before plopping down on one of the chairs, and swinging his legs excitedly. He pulled his (slightly squashed) sandwiches from his pocket and set them beside him on the chair. Killy and Kranky soon followed.

Now. Dinosaur fun. Grin.

He tipped them out, eyes full of glee. Hmm, which to play with first?

She cheered.

"Thank you!" Elyon's face was glowing now, she loved when people said she was a good friend. She didn't have many, but she tried to be the best she could be, as a bad friend wasn't really a friend at all. She liked having friends. It was nice to have people like you for a change.

"Are you excited to go home?"

"Let's Waltznow" Rex told Elyon. In position now, plase" Rex smiled. Rex and Elyon started dancing the world." I know you will be good" Rex said to Elyon. "Everything will work out with Renee and my dance studio" Rex explained to Elyon.

"Ah, no big plans really - just talked to a Slytherin guy Matt about getting supplies together he was pretty nice." She smiled, running a quick hand through her hair it finally settled down to a point where she didn't look like someone who was continually shocked statically or electrically. "Other than that nothing really - hopefully you find a place as well - I know sometimes there are lofts above the shops in Diagon Alley that have listings...that and there's probably a little nicely hidden magical loft near the ministry." She smiled wondering what the name would be - Hogshead Apartments - something muggles would think sounded dastardly.

Emily shifted in her seat, pulling her feat up onto her seat and wrapping her arms around them.
"Mmmm I've been keeping an eye out, got a few to inspect tomorrow morning, hopefully I'll like one of them."

Pulling a long silver chain out from inside her jacket, Emily inspected the pocket watch.... she could tell they were getting close to London now... it wouldn't be long until the journey would be over.
"Hey... um good luck for next term and I'm sure you'll be successful in all of your future endeavors.. Hopefully one day I'll be able to by myself a Kyle Manning designed broomstick", she said brightly. "Take care of the Ravie's for me, I'm sure next year will be a good year for you guys."
The first year Ravies would be in very good hands. And what with Jacob and Finn hoping to go pro- which they totally could, the Ravenclaw Quidditch team would be unstoppable. The Quidditch Cup would be theirs again.

Rex mentioned graduation... and happiness in the same sentence. That did not make sense to Emily. She didn't want to leave, couldn't understand why anyone would. Heck if Mr Stryker wanted a hand, she would have gladly stayed on as grounds keepers assistant.... but alas the Ministry awaited her.

Hopefully in time she would get used to life out of Hogwarts.... Now back to Rex!..

"But I'm glad I can make you feel like that." It was nice to know he was having a postive effect on her. Hopefull it would mkae other people see that too.

"She'll keep you busy." It would be interesting to hear how Marie got on, as Finn couldn't really pitch her doing intense work really. That could've been because he probably wouldn't do it either, but it was true. "i don't think my stories will be as interesting as yours..." Because they're probably wouldn't be much to tell really. Apart from all the pretty things he saw around Europe. He was kind of looking forward to it, although he wasn't too sure about not having a house for two weeks....he liked hot water.

Halle caught the chocolate frog Emily threw at her. "Thanks. Well, would it be ok if we met at my apartment? Because if we met at the airport it would be harder to check in because we need to do it all together." Halle said. She didn't know if that made sense, but it's what her brother told her. "If your parents would like to come and say bye at the airport then that's fine too." she finished. Brooms? "That would be pretty crazy and a very long time…" Halle thought. "Yeah you twocan meet them and so can your parents. He's really cool. He might have some more information then I do, plus he can tell your parents flight details and everything else." Halle said. She was so excited!!!!!!

They were obviously just jealous. Hopefully Marie would learn to ignore them in time. They weren't worth her time at all.

"And you can tell me how you enjoyed being at Mia's." He had a feeling she might enjoy it, spending time with Mia was always fun. Although he had a feeling he would probably decline spending more than a day at the commune, seeing as Finn really wasn't in to working that much. He liked being lazy most of the time.

She really didn't care anymore what anyone else thought about her. Just as long as Finn was happy then that was enough for her. And he always let her know how happy he was.

She could only imagine the stories they were going to have to tell each other in a few weeks when they met up again. She was pretty sure she was going to have some rather amusing ones to tell. Her living in a muggle commune for a week. Yeah, something funny and most likely embarrassing was bound to happen to her. She was pretty sure of that.

She squeezed him tight when he said he would love to go to her grandfather's party. "I can't wait to introduce you to my family." She said smiling. "You do realize that my whole family will be there. I'm talking aunts, uncles, cousins... and my great grandfather." She just knew her parents and grandparents were going to love him. Especially when they seen how happy he made their little girl... who wasn't such a little girl anymore.
