Lotte was wandering around the Express, hoping to catch a glimpse of a fairly empty compartment. At the same time, she was also searching for a few friends with whom she could talk to. Suddenly, she heard a trace of a very familiar voice. The First Year abruptly stopped in her tracks.

"Hmm... I know that voice!" Lotte quickly followed the sound, praying it would lead her to...

"Tay! I knew it was you!" she beamed. I'm over here," she waved to her good friend.

Tay heard Lotte and looked up with a big friendly smile- "Hey Lotte!" she said, standing up and giving her friend a big hug. "It's so busy on here now!" she said, looking round and moving against the wall so that someone could get past. She re-tied her curls into her ribbon and smiled again. "So, we're nearly there now! Are you excited hun?" she asked Lotte.

Lotte laughed as she happily returned her hug. "You're right. It is getting pretty hectic around here." As if on cue, a small girl zoomed past, calling out for her missing frog. "Hmm... Is it always like this?" she smiled in amusement.

The First Year glanced around the area with a look of pure contentment on her face. She slowly took a seat, and gestured Tay to do the same. Crossing her legs, she replied, "At first, I wasn't really that... eager to board the train. I'm still a bit uncomfortable, actually. I must be the nerves, I guess," she admitted.

"Oh, well. I'll just have to get used to it." She shrugged her shoulders.

"Yeah... it was like this every journey last year." Tay laughed, smiling at Lotte again as she sat down- "Aww, I understand why you're nervous- but there really is no need to be, hun! You are going to love it. I promise." she said, nodding and rolling up her skirt a little more- because she was quite tall and rather skinny- she had to make it short to make her legs look good. Actually her legs always looked good. Oh well!

"Do you want some bubblegum?" she asked, holding the packet out towards Lotte and pushing back her curls. "This stuff is so, so addictive!" she laughed- thinking of how mad that photographer from her modelling over the summer would be if she saw her stuffing herself with these sweets.

Alex pouted slightly. "Your mean words hurt, cousin. Really hurt." he said in a dramatic voice.

Alex laughed and nodded. "Alright I'll keep an eye out." he grinned. Wouldn't be too hard not to notice four ginger kids causing mischief now would it?

He noticed Elle dropping something and bent down to pick it up for her when he saw it was a picture of someone. He couldn't help but notice the familiar lines in the woman's face, she looked like Elle in a way. "You dropped this." he told her handing her the photo. "A relative?"

Alex' head jerked up when he heard a beautiful familiar voice. His face shone up when he saw Ellie. Somewhere in the back of his mind he'd had the riddicolous idea that Ellie wouldn't be going to Hogwarts. But seeing her in his compartment he almost jumped up and did a dance of joy. Almost.

"Hey Ellie." he smiled widely when Taylor nudged him. Subtle please Taylor.

He had missed Ellie since their... incident in Knockturn Alley. He hadn't seen her since then and honestly he had no idea what to do. They were friends at least. "How have you been?"

Alex wandered around the train when he spotted Jade and Katie. He hadn't seen Katie since their short encounter in Honeydukes and he hadn't seen Jade since they first meet briefly. Would be nice to catch up some. He opened the compartment door with a cute grin leaning some on the doorpost.

"Hey girls." he said to them. "What are you up to?" Apart from sitting on the train to Hogwarts that was...

"Come to think of it Cass, I've never asked you about your siblings. Do you have a sister or brother, by any chance?" Elle was a bit curious.

"My summer was epic and... productive. Thanks." She laughed. "You see, I outgrew most of my clothes and so, I was allowed to buy as much dresses, shirts and skirts I wanted, though I will brag no more. I hope yours was much more fun than mine." She said with a little giggle.

"How cute, Taylor! Thanks, I wish both of you endless happiness and romance." Elle retorted sincerely. She eyed her friend and wiggled her eyebrows a little.

When Elle got back, she answered Joey with a big smile. "Oh yes!" She nodded. "My family has told me countless great stories! I'm just really excited and nervous for the surprises." She laughed.

"Oh, I notice you're wearing your uniform. Suits you."

"Oh! How clumsy of me. Thanks, Alex." She received the picture from him.

She smiled at him. "She's my mum." Elle giggled. "I keep a photo of her, so whenever I miss her, I can just look at it and forget all my problems. Do you know I'm 25% Chinese-blooded?" Okay. That was really random.

OOC: my character may be first year, but she's 16 and knows some magic

Sheesh, you would have thought that Kurumi was forcing the cookie down Cass' throat. "If you insist," she laughed as she handed the box for the Slytherin to take her pick. "They're pumpkin cookies...happened on accident really. I was trying to make the pumpkin juice we drink at Hogwarts, but I couldn't get the flavoring right, so I just made cookies to try and salvage my mess."

"I see," she laughed along with Tay. She tucked a strand behind her ear and continued, "I hope I won't have a reason to be nervous... I'll trust you on that. If you say that Hogwarts is worth it, then I guess it must be true."

Lotte noticed her friend folding up her skirt. She immediately felt envious of her never-ending legs. She was nothing but a midget... in her own standards at least. She was barely over five feet! She sighed in disappointment.

"Oh, Tay. There's no need for that," she giggled, gesturing towards her skirt. "You're tall enough as it is. No need to rub it in." She playfully stuck out her tongue.

"Thank you, I'd love to have some gum," she nodded and reached out for the small packet. She took off the wrapper and popped a piece in her mouth. "She's right! This is addicting!" she thought. While chewing, Lotte gave Tay a thumbs-up. She hoped that would suffice as a sign of her appreciation.




Suddenly, Lotte noticed another familiar face in the compartment. She grinned, ecstatic at the thought of finding her.

"Elle! How are you?" She beamed at her best friend.

OOC: ah, i found you!

Tay laughed when Lotte pointed to her skirt- "Sorry- I just can't help myself! These skirts really, really annoy me!" she said honestly. Tay could wear pretty much anything and pull it off- but these skirts still annoyed her.

"It really is!" she giggled, chewing some gum herself and smiling over at Lotte.

"So... tell me all about you! Well, you don't have to tell me everything about you. But like, family and stuff? Are you a legacy? Do you have any brothers or sisters that will go, or have been to Hogwarts?" Tay asked Lotte curiously, playing with one of her curls and watching her friend.

Selina was walking down the hallway of the train when she heard the familiar voice of Kurumi. It had been a little while since she had seen here earlier. It seemed like she wasn't with Adam. Perhaps that was because she had just left him behind after their altercation with Katie. She did hope that now that girl would have a good year and as would her lot of friends. But she had to know that trying to stay friends with Adam would be detremental to everyone.

Shaking her head of all thoughts of Katie Selina opened the compartment door. "Hey stranger. Mind if I sit here?"

"Who are the prettiest,smartest and coolest?",Fee asked her bestie smiling,.And then she noticed the little pet with Cass."Oh who is that?",she asked observing the little thing.

Smiling widely at her bestie she hugged him again.Oh man seriously, time without Alex was wasted time.The blonde had just recognized that again. Gladly they had found eachother on the train now.

"You are such a stupido",Fee laughed hitting him on he arm playfully,"thats the not so cool part.I meant more the oaer were we hang out and you get sorted into my house."Of course Alex would get sorted into Slytherin, no other way.But then the little girl couldnt hold herself back,had he been running?!"When did you expect it to leave?",she breathed out trying to gain her breath.They had a long ride of course it didnt start in the afternoon.Hehe.


When Fee noticed Ellie approaching them,she smiled.Even though their meeting hadnt been too long, they had had loads of fun.She was really a sweet girl."Hey Ellie",she smiled,"how is it going?!"And then she saw the look the girl gave her bestie.Hehe. Ellie was soo crushing on him.Girls talk was on for later.How cuuuteeee.

Walking trough the train Fee noticed a familiar looking boy in an empty compartment.Taking a closer look she noticed it was Simon.Yay, they hadnt seen eachother in soo loong. Opening the compartment door she smiled widely."Hey Simon, mind if i join you?!"

"Nooo whole Hogwarts needs us of course",Fee chuckled,"Hogwarts without us is like me without glitter.Horrible."That would be sooooo not cool. Ugly.Ugly.Ugly."I wonder how unglittery the catsle got during the holidays."

"Hey Roxy",Fee smiled widely.Ohh her cousin had made it.How cool now to Schwarzbergs were at Hogwrats. Hah studends beware."How is it going?"

"Hmm..Just like last year?Spreading glitters around Hogwarts." Freya said giggling. "Oh and we should hanging out more often not like last term." she said. Last term they didn't spent a lot of times together because of the amount of homework the Professor gave them and the pressure from the final exams.

Fee without glitter? That was horrible "I couldn't imagine you without glitter, hun." she said shaking her head. "I dunno. I wonder how the Professor could survive in the ungliterry castle?" she definitely couldn't imagine that.

"Oh, whatever, Tay!" She grinned at her friend. "You're gorgeous and you know it! Don't worry, no need to be modest. It's just me," she winked.

Lotte just chewed for a moment before replying, "Thanks again! These are the best!" She also wondered if she could blow bubbles with it.

But before she could put her idea to the test, she remembered Tay's question about her family heritage. She tapped her chin and mulled over her answer. "Well, I'm a half-blood... My mum's a Muggle. Dad had attended Hogwarts, and he was sorted into Ravenclaw," she said thoughtfully. Lotte suddenly felt the butterflies coming back. The Sorting had not crossed her mind since she arrived at the station. Now, she realized just how much it scared her. She didn't know what she would do if she wasn't chosen to be in her father's house. "My grandparents also cheered for blue during their days in Hogwarts. I just hope I'll be doing the same," she gulped.

Ari gestured to the seat and smiled, not bothering to repeat that the seat was free. But she visibly jumped at the feeling of the new arrival's emotions turning quickly from calm to anger, listening to the inflections used as the new arrival spoke about her bird. She heard the owl flutter out of it's cage, felt Zoey put a block around the girl, and felt the seat depress beside her as the girl sat down. She figured she'd say something before there was another wrinkle in the friendly atmosphere. Removing one hand from the top of her cello case, Ari reached over slightly towards the lady, and perhaps just a bit to the side.

"Arienna Malone. How d'ye do." Touching the other hand compulsively to her sunglasses, she waited for another burst in the young woman's obviously volatile personality; Not that it would probably put Ari off, but if it just got out of the way, that would be grand, too. As usual, she felt pressured to control the situation, and would likely do anything necessary to keep the mood calm.

"Lotte! Lookin' good in the uniform!" She winked. "Should I tie my hair up in a ponytail or just let it loose with a headband? I want to look my very best for our first day in school." She laughed.

OOC: Didn't we get in the train together? Let's chat on our wall instead. Not here.

"Seee and can you imagine Hogwarts without us?",Fee asked giggling.It was like a big no no.A really big no no. "Mmhhh i guess Lafay likes it unglittery",she laughed,"but what about the other cool professors? I have no idea.Bet they love glitter too.hehe."
How could thes not, most female profs were rather girly.Wohooo.

"Huh..." Alex nodded, why hadn't he thought of that? He wanted photos of his family with him too. Oh well. He raised one eyebrow at his Lil' Redbird surprised. "Actually no I didn't know that." How could he not know that?!

"I am noot stupid." Alex laughed, really he wasn't. Right? Pf, of course not... "Oh well that I am very excited about." he winked and nudged her side. Hanging out with his best friend all the time? What not to be excited about? If the prize was the endless lessons then... It was a prize he was willing to pay.

He looked innocently at her and shrugged. "I don't know..." he mused. "But not this early." It was just really, really early. Well at least for him.

Elle giggled at her brother's surprised expression. "Don't worry. Not everybody notices immediately. The only thing Asian about me are my eyes. They're almond shaped." She explained, pointing at her emerald eyes. "Wait, and my height." Elle sighed and chuckled. "My grandma, who's a pure Chinese, married my English grandpa. It's in my Mum's side, so she's a half, making me just one fourth." She smiled.

Alice looked up at Stephen then blushed from embarrassment. She done it again, thinking out loud but at least she made a friend...or two if only that girl would talk. She snapped out of the embarrassment when Stephen started talking again. "Uhh...Not really.. I mean I'll do terrible in flying class but as I mentioned before I'll be looking forward to Transfiguration class" she laughed at the comment about flying class.

Alice broke a piece of the chocolate frog and fed it to Glen. "Hopefully you'll like it as much as I do." she thought while watching him eat.

Nymphy walked around unitl he found an empty compartment. He saw a group of students and opened the door. "Uh....hey can I join you? I can't find my friends. Mind?"

"You are my own little stupido",Fee stuck out her tongue.Of course he was.Sometimes he could be sooo stupid but lovely stupid not dumb stupid."I hope you are",she smirked nudging him back,"Hogwarts beware the indestructable two coming."The little blonde couldnt wait to show him all her fave places and of course,the secret ways.Hehe.Sneaky or what?!

When he tried that innocent look on her the Slytherin started to laugh.Really he looked soo cute."I should get your muggle phone and make it ring you awake to the sound of my lovely voice screaming at you",she laughed.Just the imagination was fab, really fab.

The strawberry blond first year sighed, poking her head inside each compartment she passed. When it came to finding a relatively good seat, her luck always seemed to fail her. All she had hoped for was to arrive at a decent time at the train station, find an empty compartment and stretch out on one of the seats inside it to take a nice long nap. Luck, as always, was not on her side nor had it been, it would seem, since she received her acceptance letter to Hogwarts. Pandora peeped inside another, yet again, full compartment of students, making a face. Not so much at said students, but at herself. She was sorely tempted to take up residence in the aisle of the train, mainly because she was just too lazy to walk all the way to the back (even to the middle) of the train.

"Why? Are you afraid of heights? If you want preparation, I could hang you from a cliff or something," Stephen smirked at Alice, while shrugging his shoulders. It was a possibility that could happen. She was a pretty small girl so she'd fly like the wind. Then again. "Nah, I'm only joking. I wouldn't hang you from a cliff, probably just a tree. A low set tree," Stephen laughed, hoping Alice wouldn't had actually taken him seriously on the cliff one. He wouldn't even hang himself from a cliff.

"So how long have you had your cat for?" he asked, pointing to the furball next to her.
