"Really, most everyone that I have talked to has never even heard of it" He laughed just a little as she commented on how many times he had read it. Thats just how he was though. "Of course I've read it." He said giving her smile as she mentioned To Kill A Mockingbird. "I've read that one eleven times." he said with a nod of his head.

"Ya I guess Italy was pretty nice. I like England better, but that may be because I just like speaking English better than Italian" He told her. It may also have something to do with the fact that Italy held some not so cool memories for him, but well he wasn't about to bring those up. But wait no Lizzie beat him to it. "Actually they died in muggle car wreck last year." He told her. He didn't act like he was upset to talk about it or anything, he was just simply stating the facts. "My sister works for the ministry so I just came to live with her" He added. Alec nodded as Liz said that she thought she might end up in the same house as him. Well it might be convient to have the first person that he had met to be in the same house. Who knew they might actually end up being friends. "Wait did you just say that you don't know any magic?" He asked her looking a bit shocked. How could someone live without knowing any magic??

'My dad made me read it for an English thing he was trying to teach me. I didn't want to at the time, but after I'd finished it I realised that it was actually an amzing book,' Liz explained. It really was great. 'Ah, looks like I beat you this time. I've read that one fourteen times,' she said happily. It was absolutely her favourite book ever.

Italian. And that right there was the downside of visiting other countries - Liz had absolutely no memory whatsoever. She'd tried learning a few simple phrases in Spanish when she'd gone to Barcelona with her auntie, but by the time she arrived she'd forgotten them all. She'd been studying French for six years, and she still couldn't remember any. 'I hate having to learn other languages. I just can't remember any of it,' she said with sigh.

'Oh, Alec. I'm so sorry,' Liz said quietly. She really wished she hadn't said anything at all now. She was such an idiot sometimes. She didn't go on about it though, because that was something she hated when people learnt about her dad. She'd found it was easier when people just said they were sorry or something, and then got on with the conversation. What had they been talking about? Oh yes, her lack of magic. 'Yes, that's right. I'm half-and-half, see - mum's a muggle, dad's a wizard - and my mum didn't know about magic until about two months ago. My dad never told her, and he and I agreed that he'd start teaching me magic at thirteen. It sounds really weird, I know, but he didn't want me to learn it all. I think he just wanted me to be normal,' she explained to Alec. She was aware that all this made her family sound very strange, but she wasn't that bothered. Her family was strange.

And a thought popped into her head, would going to Hogwarts be such a good thing? Would she be able to make any new friends? She realised then she had been staring into space for a while and slowly shifted in her seat to look out the window hoping watching the passing scenery would calm her a little.

"Hogwarts is the best thing that ever happened to me," Kurumi said smiling at Alice. She could feel that Alice was beyond nervous about coming to Hogwarts. Perhaps she was even feeling unsure as to whether it was the right thing for her. She had had friends in her old life, and now she was leaving all the behind and taking her first steps into a new one. It was really scary. it had been terrifying for Kurumi and she needed to leave her old life behind. "In Japan, we have an expression that translates to if you do not enter the tiger's cave, you will not catch its cub in English." She paused to let Alice come up with her own interpretation of the words. "Everything is an opportunity. A chance for us to better ourselves. It's up to us to make sure we take advantage of every opportunity we're presented."

My dad doesn’t like magic and my mum and sisters are all busy and i can’t ever talk to my friends about it. I can’t tell them i'm a witch obviously and i have had to lie to them about everything im doing this year and i will have to for the next seven years, well i will if they bother with me for that long. I cant even write to them because i'm pretty sure it would freak them out if an owl suddenly flew through their window in the middle of the day just to chuck a letter at them and leave. I know Hogwarts is going to be brilliant but all the new people, new teachers, all the mad new lessons and living so far from home..." Alice sighed and slumped back in her chair. " I'm not exactly fond of change and im just not sure if im going to be able to cope."

"Oh yeees you can already see the lights of Hogwarts",Fee smiled sweetly when she saw that look of Ellie's. She would figure out soon enough.Fee didnt want to be the party pooper."Oh i heard some teachers were centaur's these term",the blonde told her friend. That would get interesting. The little blonde had never seen a centaur and having them as teachers would be such a huge experience.Seemed like there were some specials every term, pretty cool to think about.

Ellie grinned, incredibly excited for the train to get to Hogwarts. Meh, she'd change sooner or later. She was just finally relaxing. Ooh, centaurs? "Centaurs, really? I've never seen one. Except in pictures, but that doesn't count." she said, waving her hand. She had always imagined meeting a centaur... and she had no idea what she would say to one. She imagined it would be quite scary and intimidating. "Have you ever seen one?" she asked the blonde. She remembered when she was little she told her father she wanted a pet centaur. Times have changed. Centaurs aren't toys... She smiled to herself.

"Yeah I bet!" She said. "With all this Draven business." she winked at the blonde and gently nudged her side. She glanced up at Alex quickly. She knew Tay was completely over her relationship with Alex, but she didn't know how Alex felt about it all. She assumed it was fine though, he was sitting with her after all. "But yes, I'm ready to get back to structure too. Not the homework though." Ugh, homework.

Tay laughed and smiled at Ellie- "Yeah.... it rocked." she told Ellie honestly with a little wink and a flick of her curls. "Homework- I hate that word- seen as we don't even get to go home to do it." she laughed- "So... what's your fave subject?" she asked Ellie curiously.

"My mother doesn't like magic either," Kurumi said holding her wand in her hands. "In fact, she hates it and fears it. All my brothers came to Hogwarts, but I was told that they were just studying abroad. I only learned that it was all lies last year when I got my letter." She put a hand on Alice shoulder. "Change can be scary because it is different. I was a change for my town, being half, and people ran away from me or hurt me." She didn't mean for their conversation to get so heavy all of a sudden. "I know what it's like, being unsure and so afraid that you can't even move your fingers and toes. If you ever need someone to talk to, I can be a good listener." She smiled and handed Alice the box of pumpkin cookies for her to take another. "Things always have a way of turning out in the end. You'll see."

"So do you play any quidditch? Or just watch?" she asked curiously.

She was so concentrated on the idea of suffocating the blond girl that she didn't see the blind girl's gesture to take a seat. Damian could've just concentrated on that and skipped the whole scene. She knew that she must keep a low profile around the place - it's not the Knockturn Alley anymore.
Damian saw the girl's hand reaching out towards her as the girl spoke her name. Damian took Arienna's hand in hers and softly squeezed it. The girl's skin felt soft compared to Damian's damaged skin. Actually, Damian couldn't remember a day that she wouldn't be covered in bruises. It made her hold Ari's hand even more carefully. Only then she realized that her anger was gone. She was breathing slowly, her temper was asleep and even Reaper seemed to be falling asleep on her shoulder. Damian knew he only did that when he was sure that she won't do anything reckless anytime soon. The only thing now that was left to do was introducing herself. But could she? She should've just changed her surname. She could lie, but once she's at school Arienna will hear her real name and Damian will loose the trust of the only person that was nice to her so far. Damian was even more sure than ever that no one else will be nice to her.
"Here goes nothing..." Damian whispered to herself and took a deep breath before speaking out her name out loud. "It's Damian."
She stopped. She couldn't finish. How could she if everyone thought her blood line was dead?
"It's Damian Slytherin?" it sounded more of a question to her. If she won't get more confident, she'll have to change her surname. "I'm glad to meet you, Arienna." and indeed, she could even hear gladness in her voice. How couldn't she be glad - someone spoke to her, and it wasn't actually to insult her.

The voice and name committed to memory, Ari smiled at her.

"Pleasure to meet you, Miss Slytherin," she nodded, and once again tried to patch up the awkward start to the train ride. Gesturing next to her, Ari turned her head to Zoey. "Zoey, this is Damian, Damian this is Zoey, I'm Ari, and you're not," she chuckled, almost nervously. She touched a hand to her glasses, then rested both hands back on top of her cello case. Subconsiously, Ari's mind was working over the name Slytherin in her mind. Curious. But not unheard of, she suppossed.

Zoey felt the tension in the air expand, before dieing off almost completely.

She peered around her map and looked at the girl who had once wanted to strangle her. Slytherin... wasn't that one of the house things? ... Yeah, that was the one Jimbo said he was in. Hmm... Odd for it to also be a last name. Heh, just showed how little she knew about Hogwarts. Ah, well, she'd figure it all out once she got there.

Zoey chuckled at Ari's deduction. "Indeed. I would be Zoey, not Ari." she set her magazine/map down on her lap and gave the Damian girl a sort of awkward half-smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you Miss Slytherin." she greeted, before picking her magazine/map up again.

Alice turned to look at Aimee but she still haven't spoken. "Is this girl okay?" she thought to herself then turned to face Nymphy again.

Surprisingly Alice held it on until now. Alice was never good with talking to people she had just met and especially since they were guys. Sure Alice had talked with her elders and other rich freaks back in Ireland but having to speak with teenagers was something new for her.

Another cat. Well, there was nothing wrong with cats, just Stephen didn't like them as much. Nymphy now mentioned Quidditch. "Uh, no. I'm not really into Quidditch. I'm more of a stay-on-the-ground type of guy," Stephen chuckled, which was true. Flying was okay, but it just wasn't his thing.

"Quidditch is a wizard sport. You fly around on brooms, trying to score these balls named quaffles through hoops and the people in charge of that are called Chasers. Then there are the Beaters who beat bludgers towards the opposing people to try and score more often. The Keeper protects your side of the field so the opposing team won't score. Then there are the seekers, who are the most important players. They go after a small golden ball named the Golden Snitch and if they catch it, that team wins and the game is over," Well, that was a pretty short explanation.

I sure do hope mother isn't crying her eyes out back at home." she thought to herself and grinned at the last comment.

"What weird things?",Fee asked confused, Justin was such a nice person. There random talks were just soo cool, okay maybe he was a huge prankster but that didnt make a bad person out of you did it?!"That friend isnt Sheridan by any chance?",the Skytherin asked. If so it would be no wonder, they hated eachother.right, maybe Alex should get to know Justin. They werent that different.

Alex smirked at her and nodded. "True story." he chuckled. Whenever Fee did her puppy eyes, he was so her minion. But no one needed to know that. No one. "Oh I do?" he asked her before he smirked looking around them. "Interesting, yes very interesting." Perhaps he could use it in his plan to take over the world, the whole world domination stuff.

"Good. Because I kind of promised your Savnnah to protect you." he chuckled.

"Yes it's Sheridan." he nodded slowly, how did she know that? "He turned her hair pink that sort of thing. They got into a major fight and duelled in Madam Malkin's." he said. He didn't want Fee around some guy who attacked girls in Diagon Alley that just wasn't right.

Coming to a halt as a boy walked up to him and started talking. Hyun looked with a frown on his features at him. Why did he look so familiar? Hyun eyed the boy for a few seconds, trying to think where he had met him...if he even had met this kid! But when he heard his sentence he chuckled.

"Nah , man. Atleast not today, it's no fun when people see it coming" he said and stuck his tongue out. "What's up?" Hyun grinned and punched Alex's shoulder, not hard but just in a play ful manner. His grin stayed on his face when he noticed that Alex had company. "Hello" he said with a tiny nod towards the other two girls.

Alex grinned when Hyun stuck his tongue out, oh many very manly. "Ah so you'll just run me over when I least expect it is that it?" he grinned.
"Oh well you know, on the train to Hogwarts not much else." Stating the obvious well he didn't actually do much else. Hung out with his friends of course but he always did that.

He looked down at the cat by Hyun's feet and grinned. "How's the kitten?" he asked wiggling his eyebrows.

Phew, not a nerd. She laughed, though she wasn't really sure how packing his things this morning made him a nerd... Oh well. She liked hearing his voice.

Ellie blinked at the sudden subject change, but was somewhat relieved to have something to talk about. She chuckled. "Nah, I decided once was good enough for me. That little road trip was enough adventure for a while. No more Knockturn Alley in my book." She smiled and absently reached behind her ear and touched the small spot where the man had charmed her hair off. She desperately hoped it would grow back soon. Luckily, it wasn't visible unless she pulled her hair back.

She laughed at Alex's reaction to her knowing Fee. "Yeah, we met at the Three Broomsticks, I think. Just a few days ago." She grinned as he glared at Fee. "Small world, huh?"

Oh good, she was laughing about it. Ellie noticed Fee look at Alex with a knowing look. First Tay, and now Fee too? Did everyone know something that Ellie didn't? Humph. It sure seemed like it. She looked suspiciously at Fee. "I know!" She said happily, looking at Fee in her Slytherin robes. "I should probably change into my robes soon..." She said, her voice trailing off. Huh, three Slytherins and a Ravenclaw... She smiled, happy to be with her friends. "I wonder if there are going to be any surprises this year." She told her. The Triwizard tournament last year was packed with fun.

"Yeah I agree once was enough..." Alex nodded, although he had enjoyed the tickle fight. But that wouldn't happen again since Ellie would probably only see him as the friend who took her to Knockturn Alley. Great, juust great.

Met at the three broomsticks, occasionally of course. All coincidences. No chance. He knew Fee way too good. He smiled at Ellie before returning his glare at Fee. "Oh yes small world." Pf, like that was the reason why Fee and Ellie had met. Oh well, it was good that Ellie thought that was why.
