Front of the Train The driver and snack lady sit up front in the driver's cab, but there are plenty of other compartments up here. Prefects have their very own! |
Ah, silence. Pure... Silence... Aaron was smart this year. He was NOT going to bring Avery on the train. He was just going to let her fly to Hogwarts! Yes, that was a brilliant idea. Now, she won't be spazzing out for the first 15 minutes. However, he still had the cage clanging about. I can never win, can I? However, losing the one carry on... He had another. His oakshaft 2010 of awesome. The one he would lead the Slytherin Quidditch team onto victory with. Lugging his suitcase with one hand and his broom with the other, the man made his way onto the train. Even without Avery, it was very quiet. Aaron figured he was one of the first on the train. So, he moved down a few compartments. He didn't want to be in the first compartment, but he wanted to be up front. Once arriving at the compartment of his choosing, he slid the door open, and went inside. He looked out the window onto the platform and saw people leaving their families. He recalled when he was on the platform for his first time.... A loooooooong time ago. Throwing his stuff in the storage compartment, Aaron took his broom and a magazine down. Aaron sat down and waited for some of his friends to come aboard. |

As she made her way onto the train, she carefully held Snuggles cage and balanced Athena's empty one on top of her trunk. She had decided to let the owl fly like usual. She would make it there in time. Snuggles was starting to meow and she couldn't believe how antsy that cat was. Fallon looked into the compartments to see if there was anyone she knew there yet. Sure enough, there was Aaron sitting right near the front of the train. She opened the door and quickly set Snuggles down on the chair and let go of her other things before wrapping Aaron in an unexpected hug. "AARON!" Once she was done, she quickly put her trunk and Athena's cage up top and let Snuggles out of his. She wasn't going to listen to that cat complain the whole trip. |
Hogwarts...Hogwarts...finally...today is the day... Melrose took a deep breath in and let it out slowly. Now today was going to be the best day of her life and she was really happy for the first time in a long time. *smiles* Melrose walked up to the front of the train. she looked around adn everywhere seemed to be empty. Now she didn't want to sit alone. That would just make her looked like a loner. Maybe someone would ask her to join them. She didn't feel like asking really. She got up way to early today so she was to tired to do anything. Melrose smiled and held back a big yawn. She looked into some of the compartments but most of them were just empty. Frown. Melrose carried her two trunks. Yes two because she had to look great for the time being before any holiday break but she didn't want to come off as a person that only cared for what she looked like. she also didn't want to come off as a snobby little airhead because she isn't snobby and she isn't a airhead at all. |

"Woah!" he said during all this. In fact, he may not have known who it was if Fallon hadn't shouted his name. "Hey, Fallon," the boy said laughing a bit after he was hugged. He watched his blonde friend scurry around the compartment putting things away and letting her cat out and all that. "I can't believe you didn't notice..." Aaron reluctantly said folding up the magazine in his hand. He looked down next to Fallon at his broom... Sitting there. "Also..." Aaron took out his Captain's badge for when the girl turned back to him. |

She picked up Snuggles and sat next to the window. When she turned back to Aaron, Fallon was in for another surprise. "And you're Quidditch Captain?! Congrats Aaron! Told ya you'd get it." She smiled at her friend wanting to engulf him in another hug, but she was stuck now for Snuggles had decided that her lap was really comfortable. |
Meredith gave the biggest smile she have ever given. Today was the big day. She was going to Hogwarts!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY! She had been waiting her whole life for this!! She had heard so much about it! She took a seat in an empty compartment and gave a huge smile, hoping someone would sit with her. |

He waited a few moments, but she didn't seem to notice he was behind her. "Can't find a compartment..?" |
Roderigo hopped the last step onto the scarlet steam engine, after throwing his trunk and placing his birdcage in front of him. Picking up both items, he began traversing through the slightly narrow aisle and began looking for an open compartment. Reaching one open compartment considerably close to the front door of the train, the Spaniard opened the door and heaved his trunk onto the rack above and placed the birdcage on the seat beside him. The snowy owl sleeping inside ruffled his head slightly, but continued to snooze with is beak tucked under his wing. Roderigo sat down and grunted softly. The gleaming sunlight shown off from the letters "RDL" emblazoned on his trunk and shown into his eyes. Shifting his position slightly so that the light no longer blinded him, he sat down comfortably, rummaging through is pockets for Great Expectations by Charles Dickens, and began reading. |

Aaron blinked and saw that it wasn't coming. He let out a laugh and sat down next to Fallon, petting her cat after. "I really hope you try out," he said to his friend. "You're a great beater." He looked up from the cat to Fallon, smiling. |
Ella<3 Ellie lugged her trunk onto the train. She never found out whether magic was allowed in the station or not.. if it was, she'd been a fool last year and this. But, oh well. And since she'd entered at the front, the front was where she was staying. No way was she pulling, and tugging, and lugging her trunk any farther. The train was still fairly empty, and finding an empty compartment was no trouble at all. She shoved her trunk under the seat, and sat down, leaning against the window. Catching her breath, she pulled out the newest edition of Bludgers and Broomsticks, and began scanning the pictures. |

"Bonjour." Mellie said in her French accent. "I'm Melrose Salvatore." Mel told him sweetly. Melrose looked at him. He's kind of cute she thought. |

Fallon smiled down at her already sleeping cat as Aaron pet him. Snuggles started to purr louder and louder which made Fallon giggle a bit. She turned to her friend and smiled. "Of course I'm trying out! And thanks." She was not going to miss another term of Quidditch. Uh uh. No way was that going to happen. "So did you get to test out your new broom?" She remembered he lived in an apartment, but figured he would've found some way to practice with it. You always need to know how your broom is going to react. |

"You're from France, I take it?" Evidently. He was simply making conversation. His eyes glanced around him before eventually landing back upon the blonde. |

And so, he settled for a nearly-empty compartment somewhere in the front, occupied only by a boy who looked about his age and seemed too absorbed in his book to notice him. Quietly, the boy heaved his trunk (with great, great... great difficulty; his lanky arms weren't made for heavy-lifting) up and beside the other boy's. As he struggled to push the trunk back into place, Braeden's dark eyebrows rose slightly at the golden letters emblazoned on his mystery companion's trunk. Fancy trunk, he thought with admiration. Huh. It would be nice if he had his initials on his trunk too... It would certainly make it a lot easier to tell it apart from everyone else's (and it wouldn't be the first time he had taken someone else's trunk by accident). Braeden let out a long breath once his trunk was away and happy next to its pretty companion that just made Braeden's trunk look old and dirty. Merlin, that thing was heavy. He really needed to work on his arms (which were a bit sore now)... later. Now that the trunk was out of the way, Braeden was free to plop down on the seat opposite to the other boy in the compartment. He was quiet for a moment, just examining this curious character for a brief moment before his dark eyes fell to the book the boy was holding. Oooooh, Charles Dickens. "Ooooh, Charles Dickens." Braeden tended to just sort of repeat whatever his mind thought as it was being thought. Now he felt a little bad for interrupting the boy so rudely like that. "Oh-- sorry, please, keep reading... don't mind me," he quickly added, giving a small apologetic smile (that looked rather dorky; but it was hard not to seem a little dorky when you're Braeden). |

Mel nodded. "I am...Paris." Melrose told him. "My brother went to Hogwarts last year." Mel said, sweetly. "So is this your first time at Hogwarts?" Melrose asked him. |

"I did actually," Aaron said finally putting the Quidditch magazine down. "Iris let me try it out at her house." He picked it up his broom and held the handle out to Fallon for her to touch. "It's an Oakshaft 2010," The words came out of his mouth like they were programmed to come out for Fallon. "Doesn't make the sharpest turns. But it's SO smooth and powerful." Then he waited a moment. "Oh, and it's vintage. I like vintage." He nodded as if he was agreeing with himself. |
Nai hopped up on the train, big smiles as usual and her bag over her shoulder. This was a new year and her first year as a teenager. Not many would understand, but to her that was an important milestone. She was no longer a preteen but she admitted to herself that she wasn't a responsible teenager just yet. Responsible was not her thing. Yet. She'd take this year to learn how teenaged girls worked. Meaning she'd get more teenaged friends. Did responsible teenaged girls sit in the front? She had put make-up on her face this morning, better than she ever had without looking like a clown. Teenage girls did that right, woke up and did their hair every morning and showered with frilly scents and all that. She could learn that, it didn't look too hard. |

Aah. "A Parisian? Wow, that sounds so chic." He nodded when she informed him that her brother attended the school last year. Briefly, he wondered if her brother was kicked out or something, seeing as she said 'last year.' Or, the likely answer was that he graduated. "Yeah.. it is, actually. How could you tell?" Was he that much of a dead-giveaway? |

Fallon smiled. She was glad that Aaron got to try out his new broom. She reached out a hand to turn it so she could get a better look at the handle. She listened as he talked about the broom. She felt herself growing a little jealous. Fallon was going to be a sixth year and still didn't have a broom of her own. She hated using the school brooms. "That's so awesome Aaron." Oooo vintage. Vintage was cool. |

Melrose nodded. "Well it is when you can afford the clothes in Paris which I'm lucky enough to be rich but I don't let all of the money go to my head. I don't go shopping that much only in the summertime and on my birthday if I'm not in school but I normally am in school because my birthday is in October." Melrose blabbed on. "I'm sorry I'm rabbling." Mel told him. "I just assume it because I don't know that many people here." Melrose told him. "I take it I'm right? Where did you go before I came here?" |
Quote:
She was going to sit in the front because she was too lazy to go back any further. Chyeah. Walking to an compartment she opened the door and saw a girl sitting there. "Yo, I'm Violet. Can I sit here?" Yeah, she said yo because she was cool like that. |
Quote:
"Sure." she answered with a small smile. It's not like she was expecting anyone, really. "I'm Ellie." She kinda half closed her magazine, unsure of whether there was going to be conversation between them or not. But in case there wasn't, she wasn't going to lose her page. |
rex gwts on the front of thee train. He finds an empty car. He waits for his girl Rene, his family, Victoria and Joey and his friends like Fee. |

What to do. What to do. What to dooo. Small talk would be good, yeah? Yeah. She looked at the girl who seemed to be a bit younger than her. "So um. What house and year are you going to be in?" She thought that that would be good start. |
