EEEEP. This was like MEGAMEGAMEGA exciting. Harley smiled to herself, pulling her trunk behind her, holding her kitty under her arm squishing him slightly. She decided to go sit by herself and wait for someone to come talk to her because she didn't want to interuppt anyones conversations or meetings. She found herself an empty compartment at the front of the train and pulled her stuff inside with her. After putting her stuff away she sat down holding Monster in her arms and stroking the little kitty as he purred.

"OH! I know everything my mam and sister have told me!" she sat opposite Beth and took a deep breath. She had wanted to answer this question for a long time!
"well, what do you want to know? There's too much to tell you all at once!" she laughed

"Well, I guess I don't know very much at all really. I didn't have anyone to tell me all about this stuff. . .you know cos my parents aren't. . . well you know," Beth replied as she put her kitten Star down on her lap.

"Yeah that will never happen... ever. Everyone feels the need to rush out into the corridor and watch everyone mill through. That kind of takes up all the free space," she said with a chuckle. Rolling her eyes she watched as the boy lay his jacket up on the coat rack.

She snuggled into his side and lay her head on his shoulder. "Better now. I have been trying to avoid Finlay and anyone else... really," she said with a grin.

With her small owl perched on her shoulder, Trina dodged through the crowds of the train. She waved to everyone and even said hello to a few that she recognized. However, she really didn't know anyone- this being her first year at Hogwarts.

She reached a compartment and slid inside with a sigh, trying not to let her nerves show. She turned to see a girl with a mammoth cat in her arms in the compartment she had chose. "Is that a cat or a panther?" she asked with a smile.

Harley continued to stroke Monster looking out the window as she did so. She was like mega excited, which was probably noticable by the way she was jumping around when she was moving places and she had a huge smile on her face when she wasn't moving around.

She looked over to the door as it slid open and a girl joined her in the compartment. She smiled at the girl and said "Hello Im Harley." Yey. Meeting new people was fun! She looked down at Monster before looking back up at the girl "A cat." Wow. She wanted a panther. That would be COOL.

"Well a guy can dream can't he?" he asked with a smirk. Looking around at the little compartment and then out the window he was fascinated really. "This is the first time I've been on a train," he said with a smile.

Leaning his head against hers he smiled and turned his head to kiss her. "Well I'm here so you can relax," he said giving her side a little tickle. "How long is this train ride anyway?"

"AW! What a cute kitten!" Emily said getting distracted "but you should know i'm allergic to cat hair"
Emily paused for a moment, then said
"and don't worry about your parents. Being muggleborn can be hard at first cause you don't know much about the wizarding world, but you'll be no worse than anyone else when it comes to lessons! Just try your hardest! Have you read any of your books yet?"

Ari's head snapped up, her short red-brown hair moving slightly with the sudden motion--not unlike feathers. She smiled widely, gesturing to the seat open next to her. "Absolutely. I don't mind at all," she replied. The girl was not someone she had encountered before-- and tasted a sense of modest uncertainty about her. "It's a rather crowded train, I don't see how anyone could turn you away in the first place."

"Hi! I'm Trina," she said, about to extend her hand when she realized the girl's own were wrapped around the cat. "So, what year are you?" she asked, hoping that she had the right terminology. America had been so different. "Ah, that's cool! What's your cat's name?" she asked, extending a hand to gently pet the cat's fur. "It would be awesome if your cat was a panther though," she said with a slight grin. "It would be huge! Probably taking up the whole seat!" she exclaimed, indicating the bench Haley was sitting on.

"Oh . . ." Beth said as she glanced down at the kitten who was now trying to eat the fabric of the seat. "Will she be okay. I won't let her near too close to you. And thanks, your right it is hard I mean muggle money and wizarding money is so different and confusing remember." Beth grabbed Star and put her back on her lap just before the kitten managed to pounce onto Emily. "Yeah I have read some of the books, I mean I was trying to learn at east a little bit before I came but I didn't know what half of it was talking about to be honest." She laughed at this point and scratched Star behind her ear.

Triiinaaaa.

Harley mused for a moment before saying "Wow. Trina. Thats a really pretty name." The fourth year unwrapped one of her hands from around Monster and shook the girls hand. Hopefully she wasn't like...allergic to cat fur or something, EEP. That'd be bad. "Im going into my fourth year, this is my first year at Hogwarts. How about you ?" she smiled, it was nice meeting new people, Harley liked it. "...Monster." she answered stroking her kitty again, and smiling at the girl. "It would be. Ive never really thought about having a pet panther but I dont think my mum would let me anyways."

Adam was looking around for a place to sit and found one empty compartment.Quickly wanting a place for himself he went right inside, only to find someone else with in it.
"Opps. Sorry, I didn't see you here earlier...You look like a new student.
I'm Adam Burn.Third Year Gryffindor..."He introduced himself somewhat calmly but rushed manner

Willow's head snapped up at the opened door. Embarrassed, she tucked the Quibbler she'd found under her trunk. "Oh, sorry! Am I in the wrong place? I probably am...I'm Willow, Willow Barken. I'm starting first year Ravenclaw."

Adam walked in and told the girl,"No you're not in the wrong place- nothing here is reserved besides the Prefects compartment. Hi Willow...Oh I see... you want to be in Racenclaw then..."He said...

Being a first year, she wouldn't know what house she was already in without even being at Hogwarts yet, she's find that sooner.

Trina smiled. "Thanks! It's actually short for Katrina- but I never liked my full name," she said, making a face. "My mom loves it though- I'm still convincing her NOT to call me Katrina." She smiled and shook the girl's hand warmly.

"Oh really? Me too!!" she exclaimed, bouncing in her seat. "I just transferred here. I was living with my Dad in America, and going to school there. Now I'm living with my mom and going to school here!" she explained, even if the girl didn't need to know it. "Monster? That's an awesome name!" she said laughing.

"Hmm... you're probably right," she said, slumping slightly. "But we could always pretend! Monster," she said, looking at the cat. "You're a panther now!"

"Yeah. My gran went to Hogwarts and all the Deadrose family did, and were in Ravenclaw. So I hope I will be too!" Willow felt suddenly uncomfortable and pulled the hood of her cloak over her scarlet hair.

"Why are you so shy?I don't bite- I may be moody and annoying- but I don't bite, really...Oh so I see, because of family generations in the past you believe you will get that house. I'm a muggle and my parents didn't want me to come at all...But I'm glad I got Gryffindor..."Adam told her sitting down next to her, and peering through her hoodie...

Willow clasped a hand over her mouth. "Oh-no sorry...I-I didn't mean anything like th-that... I just, um, just I suppose I just get a bit shy with people. My parents were muggles. But they're gone now. So did you say you're a muggle? Not to be rude. Or discriminative but... how can a muggle learn magic?

With her trunk loaded onto the train and her parents on the way home, Sierra Greingoth took a cautious step into the front part of the train. She wasn't really scared of anything in particular, but more or less cautious about how very young she was and how very old some of the other kids looked. She'd never been on her own before. Not like this, at least. She and Alex had never even attended an actual school before now, for Merlin's sake!

In her eyes, she had every right to step cautiously onto the train instead of just throwing herself wide open into what lied ahead. She took a casual glance around, looking for Alex, really, then started to wonder how on Earth she was meant to find a seat. What was she supposed to do? Walk up to some random kid and ask if she can sit next to them? Psh, yeah, right.

Maybe she'd just visit the food trolley first. At least then she wouldn't have to subject herself to asking someone if she could sit next to them. She didn't want to seem like a beggar either. Hmm...now where was that trolley? With as confident of a face as she could give, she made her way down the aisles and toward what she hoped would be the trolley.

Harley smiled, listening as the girl explained about Trina not being her full now. "Your welcome, Oooh thats a pretty name too." She said squeeing a little bit. Excited much Har ? "I can see why, its a pretty name." So was Trina.

Harley smile grew, if that was even possible as the girl said she was starting Hogwarts this year too as a fourth year! This. was. too. cool. "YAYAYYYAYYY!" she exclimated flailing her arms before cradling them around Monster once more. "Wow. Thats cool. Whats it like In America ?" she said with a smile. "You think so ? Most people think its weird, cus like...shes not a Monster." mellow!face.

Harley pulled a bit of a sad face as she said she was right. Being right was awesome but not being able to have a panther was totally not cool. Her face brightened up as she said they could pretend that Monster was a Panther. "Thats a totally cool idea! So do you have any pets ?"

Adam was at a loss for words. He had never asked Kurumi or in fact any of his extremely smart friends how muggle's learned magic.
"No idea. But I think I heard it's because there was magical blood in the family line, died out and then came back again...So maybe my great great great great grandpa had some magic in him or something?"He guess shrugging his shoulders.

Heather walked onto the train luggage in hand. There wasn't a familiar face anywhere. She was hoping to find someone to sit with and talk to so she wasn't alone. She was very nervous about being around new people.

Trina gave a small little wince. "Thanks... I just prefer my nickname better," she said with a soft laugh. She grinned and bounced in her seat slightly, causing her owl to hoot in protest. "Sorry," she apologized to the owl as she stopped her bouncing.

Trina laughed and joined in the exclamation. "YAYAYAYAYA!!!!!" she said, doing a little dance that caused her owl to hoot once more. However, Trina ignored him this time. "What a crazy coincidence! I'm so excited!" she said with a laugh. "Ummm... it's a lot like here, except different accent," she said. She had a slight one because of her mom, but it was very American since that was where she had been living for most of her life.

She gave a shrug. "Why not? In Robin Hood, Little John wasn't little," she said with a grin. "So why not name a cat Monster?" she asked with a laugh. As Harley asked about pets, Trina reached up and scooped her owl off of her shoulder. "This is my owl," she said, holding him out in her hands. "He's still young, but he's my pet!" she said with a smile.

Joanna again wished she wouldn't be so short, but you can't help your size. She looked around for other people who were seemingly new. Then she saw another girl who looked new. "Hi", she said, "are you new as well? I'm Joanna."
