Sebastian was a bit suprised as Evan acknoledged him as well. Eh, whatever. He knew the truth behind it all anyhow, they were just trying to impress Sophie. Hah. "Football magazine?" He asked, curiously. Of course he knew what muggle football was but Evan must have been boring Sophie the entire time. Football was usually not for girls, but then again he did know a few. If it was only Evan and himself without Sophie here, he knew there would be a lot of names thrown around. Especially how Evan caught himself from calling Seb a dork. Jerk. "Good. You?" He asked in return, not really caring how Evan was. He turned his attention back to Sophie. "Hmm, well I was actually heading out to the Courtyard to see a friend. I didn't know there was a competition of sorts though." He stated, scratching the back of his head. He would invite Sophie to come along with him, but he was going to meet up with Bonnie. So if they ever met...it might be a bit dramatic. Yeah, he wasn't going to do that anytime soon. "Anyhow, how was your little 'date' with each other?" He asked with a smirk. |

Ellie waved her hand. "Nah, it only lasted like half a minute. No one got hurt. Well, Jacob Blunt, our Quidditch Captian.." She laughed a little. "He was asleep on the couch that was on fire and he, uh.. His pants caught on fire. And his knickers." She said trying not to laugh too hard. Although it really was quite amusing. |

A half a minute fire? Sounded funny. And that at the Raveis common room, where intellegent people met "Your Quiddtich captain?",the second year chuckled,"i would do anything to turn back time and see that."That guy had been so rude to her last term and seeing his pants burn would make her day anytime.Hahaha. |

Ellie laughed with the blonde. "You should have been there! It smelled pretty bad, too." She shook her head with a laugh. And Ravenclaw's were the smart ones... |

For a certain Sabel Dakest and anyone else ;D It had been, admittedly, a long while since Josephina ventured above the second floor of the castle. As she ascended the stairwell though, memories flashed back to her student years, as a young Hufflepuff and the many hours upon hours she had spent on this very floor. In specific, the Library. Closing her eyes, she just stood there as she let herself float among those memories, allowing a slight twitch of a smile to spread across her lips. Her purpose some twelve or thirteen years later though, was not to study extensively for her NEWT examinations, however. Oh no; now she had much different research topics in mind . . . stuff that at the core, wasn't strangely that different. |
Rearranged a bit. Text Cut: Oh, drama Pfft, why did Sophie question the dork so much? Just let him go by and they would be alone again. Personally speaking, Evan wasn't interested in the guy at all--just another Gryffindork--unless he made himself interesting such as trying to flirt with Sophie again, or admitting his own interest in football. And yet... even though football was such a strong bond, he still didn't think that could save him. Nope. He'd just started out wrong, and judging by his idiocy, he wasn't going to make up. Hmpf. His choice. Playing with the edges of his magazine, he sighed inwardly. How could he be so boring? Though... the blonde did look up when the dork said he was on his way out. Then go, he said with his looks when he made sure Sophie was looking away. Seriously, he didn't think Sophie would care if he left. He was pretty boring anyway, wasn't he? And there, he was silly enough to ask the same question which he'd confirmed before. "Yes, a football magazine," he said, pressing on his words, for Bastü didn't look like understanding much. Hehe. He gave him a look if he had a problem with that. If he did, the Slytherin was sure to get ugly. Eyeing him when he asked how he was, the Slytherin tried to decide if the dork really meant the question. He could feel the tension between them. He said "I'm fine too, thanks," he responded softly. Naow, play a mind-game and get Bastü angry. Hehe. That should do the job of seperating Sophie from him. Ah, finally Sophie turned her attention to him. Hehe. "Well, I like much of action," he said with a nod. He liked romance, of course, but just not the whole book of romance. A little mention of it was alright. Plus, romance always came with a drama, which was also a sort of action Smiling at her--ignoring the dork totally--he enthusiastically said "I can play with you whenever you want. And also teach you, it's the most enjoyable game in the universe!" Or, of course, he could accept the fact that she was just like other purebloods, and that she didn't like it. It'd be hard accepting someone else didn't like his passion, but he could live... yeah. Rolling his eyes at the smirk and the sarcasm on the word 'date', he thought of admitting it wasn't a formal date, but something inside stopped him. His wish that it was formal? Or was it the urge to protect Sophie? Maybe his want to look like they were serious with Sophie? Whatever reason it was--and he felt it was the combination of the three--he didn't deny the hint of relationship. Nope. Blushing ever so lightly that only a careful eye could see, he didn't step back. No no no, only a Puffer would do that. "It was amazing, all alone," he shot back. Hopefully, he was smart enough to get the hint of alone. Why did he care, anyway? He wasn't the one that How about that? |
Text Cut: Sebastian & Prof Hadley partly He was meeting a friend in the courtyard. Sophie didn’t even have to bet a few galleons to know that Sebastian going to meet a girl. He was a bit of a charmer with the ladies as the corridor rumor went which she generally didn’t put much faith in. They usually were wrong or partly twisted anyway. Feeling like she kept him from going to the courtyard Sophie said "I hope you’ll have fun with whomever you’re meeting." In her mind though a little voice in her head said ‘If you play your cards right it could be you who he’d be meeting.’ Suppressing that thought the girl went tomato red as Sebastian asked about her and Evan’s date. "It was…..Er lovely!" she blurted out in an incoherent voice while her eyes batted from Sebastian to Evan and around. Oh just GREAT! At that moment Professor Josephina Hadley came down the corridor which Sophie wondered was a strike if fate or just plain coincidence. Either way the professor’s showing up would probably keep the boys from getting too territorial. SPOILER!!: Evan Er, right football lessons? Did she want to learn how to kick a ball? Hm well it couldn’t hurt if it made Evan happy but honestly what was the purpose of hitting a ball? With an expression which was hard to read Sophie asked "Um, what is the purpose of kicking a ball forward on the ground in a game?" Maybe her pureblood heritage shone through right then but Sophie didn’t get the sport at all. As Evan spoke about his literature preference she sighed inwardly. Action, why did all boys love action books? "I’m not really into action books. They are mostly about wars and such aren’t they?" Reading about the numerous wars throughout wizarding world history was enough for the Gryffindor Prefect she didn’t need that in her for fun literature when she had it in History of magic. Evan then decided to describe their day together as amazing which Sophie didn’t have any problems with. She couldn’t help but wonder though how Sebastian would take that comment. As a challenge or just another sign that Evan wanted to keep her to himself which was a bit weird all things considered. They weren’t a couple or anything and she didn’t even know if he had a girlfriend. Sophie had never gotten round to asking that. Maybe she should have? |

It was a figure out of the corner of his eye that had him turning his head from the window and blinking at the woman that stood there. Just, stood at the top of the stairs, with her eyes closed. Something lurched inside him as a memory superimposed itself on her, and he had immediately snapped his book closed and dropped his feet forward, ready to get up. Only the twitch of a smile stopped him, though his words rushed ahead with concern. "Are you alright, Ma'am?" |

"Yes?" She stared, answering his question with a question. "I mean, yea... I'm good. Just was going to check out some books in the library. You?" Gosh, she sounded like a student right about now, rather than an almost-thirty year old professor. What was wrong with her? |

Okay now this was awkward. "Sabel Dakest...." He stood, holding out his hand in greeting to try and break the tension. |
This guy was giving Seb a major headache. Oh I'm Evan, I secretly like Sophie, she's all mine, I like football but I also like Sophie too, yadda, yadda, yadda. BLAGH. Who cares? "Who's your favorite team?" Sebastian asked, scratching the back of his head as he stood there. Yawn. This was boring. --Trying to talk to Sophie's boyfriend or whatever he was. He crossed his arms and started to look around, noticing a Professor walking by. He gave a mere smile and a little wave before turning back towards Sophie and what'shisname. Having fun with whomever he was meeting? "Hmm, I'll try. By the way, that Ancient Runes lesson, was amusing. Try to learn how to say incantations without sneezing in the middle of them." He chuckled. They all seemed silly though. Sebastian watched as Sophie turned bright red and said their date was lovely. "Seems like you two need to sort out your little situation you've got going on here." He said a bit confused with the two. Were they with each other or not? He really wanted to go up in Evan's face at the moment and laugh, seeming as Sophie really wasn't interested in muggle football or action books. Really, who shows that stuff to girls? |
Hugo made his way out of the library yet again, clutching his books to his chest. Let's see... Muggle music studies, Magical music studies, Wandlore: A History, The Wandlore Encyclopedia, Herbology for beginners, Herbology for experts and "how to attract a girl" which he kept safely in his pocket, for no one to see. What? It was light reading. He was thinking about heading to the common room, but decided to take a walk. The corridors always inspired him. Then again, everything inspired him. Whether he wanted to write, draw, make music, or something academical. Well... Honestly the only thing he wasn't good at was being social. He wanted to return and pick up a book about making friends, but then he wouldn't return for 3 hours. With all the books and stuff.... |

"Oh yeah you mentioned that," he said to Selina. "Are we still doing that?" he asked. A band was a pretty awesome idea. Can you dance like a hippogrifh mamamamamamaa... Classic... |

Evan blinked at the question of Sophie. For a good full minute. Because it was probably the lamest question he'd ever had to answer, and that list included the recent 'Is that a football magazine?' enquiry of Sebby. "Well, it is fun," he said slowly, as if explaining something really obvious. H e sincerely failed to understand how someone could not get it. It took all his will not to get up and leave himself, because he hated that kind of people that asked 'Oh, why do 11 people kick a ball? Is it because they're idiots?' Merlin! He always had that urge to hit those people. It was the ultimate question that he hated. First of all, it was 22 people plus 4 referees that ran, and looking at that perspective, life itself was meaningless. He bit his lips, took a deep breath and gulped his anger down. It would do no good right now. Better to explain football to this lost soul. "The purpose is," he said, trying his best not to grit his teeth, "to score. Just like in Quidditch, and ANY other team sport. So, it is a sport, and it isn't meaningless. At. All." No, he stayed calm. Which was a real progress about his approach to lost souls. He did get the message quite clearly: that she wouldn't be interested in playing football with him. Maybe he should consider making up with the dork, now that he seemed to be considering himself knowledgable about teams, if he was asking that. "I support Chelsea," he said proudly. Then, eyeing him, he tried to guess. "How about you, Manchester United?" Oh Merlin no. Even Tottenham, but not Manchester. He hated that club. And see, he was talking and looking softer now. A huge rogress. Hopefully, dorky would notice it too. Oh, avoid a huge sigh. Sophie didn't also like action. And she was such a lost soul, thinking that action was all about wars. He shook his head. "Not really, it ranges from fantastic books to science-fiction and detective stories. So, basically I guess, anything except history, documentary, romance and horror." Horror did have a lot of action too, but it was just... horror. Shudder. Eyeing her as Sophie described their... day together as lovely, he felt an inward relief. Surely, it was all friendly and he had nothing to prove in theory, but still he had been nervous about it. But now that she said it was lovely... he felt like a huge weight had been lifted off him. Wait, hold on there! Did he just say they worked together in arithmancy? All together, Sophie and him? Why reminding that all of a sudden to Sophie? Because he had to show Evan that she was more interested into him or something? A stupid hidden message? The prefect narrowed his eyes for an instant before covering up his error. Nope. He wouldn't mind it. He'd ignore it. Because Sophie had things to discuss with him, not with this stupid courageous oh-I'm-so-cool dork, just like the dorky himself had pointed out. He shot a glance at Sophie before turning back at dork. Why did HE care anyway? Just because he could flirt with her again if they didn't sort it out? Ah, this had gone on too far, maybe. "We'll talk about it, don't you worry," he said to the boy as blue eyes stole a glance at Sophie once more. "Though," he added, as his guilt rose up again. "Seeing as we're only friends, there isn't that much to sort out." There, happy inner Marie? He'd admitted being only friends with Sophie. Now, guilt, why don't you go? |

"Well, I'm not sure about that. You two get on very well, so I can't really tell." "And, as for the band, I would like to. I just need my big brother Adam to get a move on with the organizing of it." |
Quote:
"Well that's the point... I don't want to ruin our friendship..." he told Selina. Hmm... What should he do! If only Hugo was as perfect and manly as Edmond, he would have at least the strength to tell her. Yeah, Adam... "He's busy with a certain black-haired girl," he winked. And Kurumi was keeping some secret hidden away from Hugo. He thought they were good enough friends to tell him. |
