Ew. Lux had sworn she'd never even go near the Quidditch Pitch, but she had also promised to try everything, which was why you could find the small Blonde picking her way over the mud to where a small group of students were. She frowned slightly at them all on the floor - this just got worse.

The Slytherin wrinkled her nose, and put her blazer on the floor, before sitting on it cross-legged, still frowning. She looked at her perfectly manicured nails to pass the time - they really were very pretty.

"Well yeah... I skimmed it..." he told the professor scratching his head. "I just didn't think bringing your own broom was illegal..." Hugo said. "What's wrong with it?" he asked. Honestly, why couldn't you bring your own broom? He sighed and handed his dear Firebolt to professor Vindictus. School brooms were sooooooo slow.

Elektra looked over at Violet and she chuckled nervously. "Vi...I-I don't think I can do this. I'm too scared. What if I fall? What-What if I can come back down once I'm up in the air? What if I hit mysaelf in the face with the broom? I know it's happened before to other people but what if it happens to me?" Elektra began to panic and she tried to calm down. "I can't do this. I can't do this!"

"Thanks, Hugo," Vindictus replied and kept a firm grip on the expensive broom. "Now go have a seat with the others."

He was still waiting on the two first years who had yet to come speak to him. Thankfully, his dark sunglasses were on and the students were unable to see him roll his eyes.

Time to start class.

"Today, we're going to cover the basics of flying - taking off and landing, as well as maneuvering the broom in the air," he announced to the class. "I'd like for each of you to come up here and select a school broom."

He paused and pointed to the broom rack.

Then he pointed to a white line that appeared on the grass. "Once you have a broom, please walk over to the white line and stand there with the broom in your hand."

Jamie stood back up and walked over to select a broom. She grabbed the nearest one to her and then proceeded to the white line. Holding the broom in her right hand she waited for further instructions.

Alex looked around the pitch impressed and then noticed the professor had spoken. Whoops, he really should take notice if professor spoke. Mental note.

"Hello Professor." he said politely before he plopped himself down on the grass. It was better to say something to the professor, several students had been thrown out in Potions for not saying hello and well, he had been looking forward to this particular lesson.

Oh broom snatching time! Woot. He grinned and walked over to the brooms situated by the rack. Debating for a while he chose one that looked fast erm... Safe, and went to stand on the white line the professor had pointed out.

Pushing herself up off the grass and onto her feet, Sierra made her way to the brooms and quickly selected a random one. She supposed it didn't matter which one she selected. They were all school brooms, and if they lived up to what people were saying about them, she wasn't expecting much from any of them.

Broom still in her hand, Sierra then made her way to the white line and stood there while she waited for whatever else was about to happen. Flying class--this one should be easy enough. At least it wouldn't be as hard as Divination and Ancient Runes had been.

Wha- no explanation at all? He nodded at the professor trying to look as friendly as possible, then took a seat and listened.

He walked slowly to the school brooms. No need to hurry- they were the same slow brooms. He took one in his hand, he tried to see which looked fast and new, but they were all old and dirty. Ew. Cleansweep? No, were these produced by the school? He walked towards the white line. Ah, now he understood how "basic" this was. Bummer.

Lara jumped upb took a broom and stood waiting for the rest of the instructions. Although she knows how to fly as this was her second year ,but there's always somethings to learn. As she was waiting she noticed that the Professor was busy with some students who didn't seem to notice the rules and brought their own brooms!

Well,she was hoping that they won't spend too much time on the ground because that's not why she came here.

Taking off?! Landing?! Oi! She thought to herself. She knew she was going to do miserably at this, but it was worth a shot. Elektra huffs and walks up to the broom rack and she picks up a broom and she looks at the Professor and then walked to the white line hesitantly and she held the broom tightly in her hand and stood there and gave a nervous smile to the Professor.

Gulp. This was nerve racking! But she was a Gryffindor for wizards sake! She should be excited.

Swollowing her nerves she took a school broom and stood at the line the professor had indicated.
Taking off, landing and maneuvering? I'd would be a piece of cake... GULP!

Helena went to the boom rack and picked a random broom. She got back to the white line that suddenly appeared on the grass and waited for the next instructions with the broom in her hand.

Violet heard Professor Vindictus call her over and began to walk towards hims calmly. She was going to ask what he needed to see her about until she saw a boy and Elektra get their brooms taken away. It was at that moment that Violet remembered reading in the school announcements that brooms would be provided in class. She gasped covering her mouth and then said apologetically to Professor Vindictus,"Oh my gosh, I am so sorry Professor Vindictus, I completely forgot that the brooms would be provided. Here's my broom, I'll pick it up after class." She smiled and gently placed her broom in his hand and then said sweetly,"Again, I am very sorry about that, sir." Then she smiled again at him and then walked happily over to the broom rack. Violet picked a broom and then eagerly walked over to the white line, standing next to Elektra waiting for the Professor to tell them what to do.

Luin looked somewhat nervous as she sat on the grass looking at the professor. He pointed out the broom rack and she stared at it for a few moments before going over and picking up a broom. She looked over it a few seconds and then walked over to the white line, holding out her broom. She had tried flying a little bit before at home but she was never very good at it, she wasn't too happy with flying super high. She stayed there and waited while everyone else was getting their brooms as well.

"Young lady, I asked to see you regarding the broom you brought with you to class. Ignoring me isn't wise."


"I beg your pardon," Vindictus replied rather sternly at the Hufflepuff girl who clearly acted on her own without permitting him, THE professor, to say anything regarding her rule breaking. She thrust her broom into his other hand and walked off.

"Get back over here now."

Jaina got up and walked over to where the professor had indicated where the brooms were. She picked one up and studied it for a second. She was beginning to think that this was a mistake. Oh, well. It's now or never. She thought as she walked over to the white line and stood in line.

While he waited for the two students, he continued with instructions.

"Stand arms-width apart and place the broom on the ground to your right," Vindictus instructed everyone.

Violet heard the Professor....again and then walked back over towards him, not realizing she did anything wrong. She then didn't say anything, actually not sure what to say, she just looked at him telling he was angry, and prepared herself to be yelled at.

Luin looked at the professor, noticing some of the other students not listening and the reaction and decided she had better follow those instructions. She stood as instructed and put the broom down next to her on her right.

Angry....ok.
 

Elektra slowly looked at her broom on the ground and then looked at the professor and she walks over to where she dropped her broom and picked it up and handed it to the Professor. "Happy?" She said snipping a little back at him and she walks back to her place holding the other broom in her hand and she went back in line and sighed rubbing the back of her neck.

Lux had picked one of the least dirty brooms from the rack, and walked over to the white line, a look of disgust etched into her face. She did as she was told, putting it to her right, then looked around, only to see..

.. Alex. Oh fabulous, someone who knew her, would be able to see this catastrophe of her attempting to fly. She smiled at him before loosely plaiting her long blonde hair, so it didn't get in her way. She didn't need anymore distractions, thank you very much.

Okay, broom on the ground... Yeah... We got that... Hugo laid the broom there and put his hands up ready to say the magic word.

Helena looked around her and checked if she was arms-width apart from the others and then placed the broom on the ground to her right. She had an idea of what was going to happen next and she started to become even more nervous.

Fee noticed Hugo not far away from her and she smiled.This was were they met for the first time.Their one year friendanniversary.How cooool.Waiting for a moment in which he looked into her direction the blonde waved at him and mouthed a "Hey."


Ohhh this was sooo fun, it was really basics.And why again did she buy the super cool oakshaft if she had to use thos old school broom? Eww.How as she supposed to even ride on it well?!Getting in the line the Slytherin laid her broom down to her right and waited for other instructions.

Jamie stretched out her arms to make sure no one was to close and nodded happily. She then placed the broom down to the right of her on the ground. She sighed and waited. Sometimes classes felt like they could drag on forever but at least it gave her something to do.
