It had taken some time for Emmaleigh to get all her things together. Just as she was getting to the class room door, she heard two very familiar voices just outside. She paused to listen to the conversation. It made her feel guilty, for listening in, and for her outburst the night before. Standing there, she felt a tear stream down her face. After the events in the kitchen, the girl couldn't believe she was crying again. She wiped the tears from her eyes. After a few more minutes of listening, she gained her composure. With dry, slightly red eyes, she stepped out of the classroom, and looked at the other two. "Er, Hey." was all she was able to say at the moment.

turning to the sound of Em with out showing her the side of his face " um Hey Em we was just talking bout my first day at school "

The young girl's gaze shifted from Michael to Brit, and back again. "I, er," what to say? Her hand slipped down into her bag and gripped the corner of the towel. "I'm sorry." she said weakly.

turning to face her fully taking the towel and dabbing at the tear " You got nothing to be sorry. for I was acting like a Slytherin being all cockey" handing her the towel back

The girl's jaw clenched as Michael took her towel. She would not say anything, that would just make things worse. Taking it back, she threw it over her shoulder instead of placing it back in her bag. "That may be true, but thats no excuse for yelling at you. "

"I just dont want this to be like last yr with Saph."Takeing Em's hand " I know I messed up and you have a right to be mad,and you do what ever you need to do to get un mad,you havent said or done any thing to chang how I feel bout you,and I hope I havent done any thing to change how you feel bout me" slinging his back pack overhis shoulder and tucking the book Em had GIVEN him last night under his left arm "So why dont we meet up later in the passage near potions and talk bout what what we are going to do about the new STAFF changes ok ?"looking over to Brit to see if that plan was going to be ok with her too

She didn't really know what to say as he took her hand. It just made her feel awkward all over again and made Brit's comment in the kitchen echo in her head. Emmaleigh just didn't know how she felt about anything anymore. With the suggestion to meet up later, she nodded. "Sounds good."

Hide, hide, sneak, sneak. This was the result of excessive boredom for Mr. Anakin Amstern. He acted like a ninja and stalked the halls of Hogwarts. Because he COULD and it was FUN. Besides, it was a waste of time too. Time he SHOULD be spending doing homework, but he didn't FEEL like it. Homework wasn't fun.

Acting like a ninja however was.

Doing a tuck and roll, he misjudged the distance from where he stood to the wall, and in result. Crash. Erhm, ow?

Alexa walked through the corridor. She didn't know which one and she didn't really care. She wasn't paying any attention as to where she was walking and that was just part of her personality. Lexi whipped out her bright blue mirror and looked at herself as her heels clicked down the stone floor. She put her blue mirror away and stashed it in her silver purse.

As she kept to herself and walked on her noticed that someone walked out in front of her. That made her mad. So what she got mad very easily. Well this time she was thinking about Beck. Ahh Beck. Dear sweet Beck. He better not find out who the REAL her is.

"What where you're going!!!" Lexi yelled. But then she saw the guys face and that was no way to speak to a handsom guy. "I'm sorry." Lexi said to him.

Feeling the light thump on the ground that Anakin could only identify as heels clicking on the floor, he quickly stood, brushing himself off and smiling all normal like at the girl who came towards him. He wasn't weird. He wasn't pretending to be a ninja. Nothing to see here. Heh.

But then, watching her face, his smile slipped as she appeared to be...yelling? Merlin's beard that was scary. It was a good thing he couldn't HEAR the volume, or else he probably would have shied away. Just when he opened his mouth to apologize, she beat him to the punch, and Ani was left with a mouth agape. "Er, it's okay?" Though he wasn't sure what for.

Lexi looked at him. She really did feel bad for yelling at a hottie. Lexi nodded. "I really am sorry." Lexi told him. She wondered what house he was in? Hmm. She had never seen him in her whole life but she was also very new to the Hogwart school thing. Alexa let out a great sigh. "I'm Alexa Meridew." Lexi told him. "But I liked to be called Lexi...NOT Alexa." Alexa made her point. "I'm a sixth year Ravenclaw." Lexi went on. "Who are you?" Lexi asked.

Anakin merely blinked, still a little unsure of why she was apologizing, he WAS after all the one who got in the way. He'd probably yell too. Giving a small shrug, and placing the smile back on his face, he gave an offhanded wave of his hand, "Don't even worry 'bout it." Because it was already forgotten in his mind. Screwing up his face in concentration he strained to catch everything she was saying, intently watching her mouth.

Alexa Meridew? But only to be called Lexi. Point made, point remembered in his brain. Offering his hand in greeting, Ani gave a small smile, "Pleasure Lexi. Anakin Amstern." Anakin was fine, as they're weren't a whole lot of other ways to say it. Siiigh.

Ravenclaw? Ahh. He was meeting quite a few of those. Nodding his head, he pointed to himself, holding his tie up slightly, preferring the classic uniform to every day muggle garb. "4th year hufflepuff." Yeah puff's!

Lexi nodded. She was freakin' BORED. Lexi crossed her arms across her chest ans listened to the boy talk. She nodded somemore because she really was listening. "Well it's nice to meet you Anakin." Lexi said with a flirty tone. "Ahh Hufflepuff." Lexi said out loud to herself. "Doesn't it suck? Just being in the two houses that no one wants to be in because everyone cares about Gryffindor and Slytherin only?" Lexi asked him.

Anakin blinked, as she seemed to be bored with his presence. That was sort of a bummer. And then she was speaking again, and though he'd learned to be perceptive, flirting was completely lost on him. "You as well Lexi." Because it was, he liked meeting new people. People were awesome.

Heh? Anakin gave a slight shrug, fiddling with his tie. "Doesn't bother me, I mean yeah most seem to want Gryffindor or Slytherin, but I know the best houses are Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw." Well, actually, all of them were awesome. Hufflepuff had him, Ravenclaw had Vashti, Slytherin had Harley and Gryffindor had Seb. See? ALL AWESOME!

"It bothers me because they get all of the attention and I HATE that." Lexi said. She was in one of her MOODS today. That wasn't good for Anakin. "I'm hawt can't I have ATTENTION for ONCE." Lexi said to Anakin. "I mean what's wrong with Ravenclaw's and Hufflepuff's?" Lexi asked. "That's right. NOTHING." Lexi caught her breath and let out a long and loud sigh.

Ellie strolled down the corridor with a little spring in her step. Why? ... Good question. It was November. Cold, dark and rainy. She had been bored all day after classes so she decided to take a walk. It was too crowded at the lake, the courtyard AND the pathways, plus it was cold. She'd never been on the fifth floor much, just to keep going up the stairs to the common room, so she'd thought she'd poke around.

Di was mumbling to herself as she took the flight of stairs going to the Fifth Floor Corridor. She knew she dropped that pin somewhere. She didn't know why it bothered her for the whole day. It was just a bobby pin anyway...with a real piece of diamond on it. Yes, that's what had been bothering her. Walking briskly she immediately saw what happens to be a shiny pin behind a girl's foot. She ran and came to a screeching stop and picked up the pin.

"Sorry...A-about t-that..." she was out of breath from running.

Out of the corner of her eye, Ellie saw some girl coming up the stairs quickly. She did a double-take and realized that she was charging at her. "Eep..!" She flinched. Oh. She was just picking something up...

"Oh, er... It's alright." She said with a short laugh. "You find what you were looking for?" She raised an eyebrow.

Dianna nodded, raising the pin and placing it on her hair so that it was secure. Surely, it won't fall anymore.

"Soooooo...." she said rocking back and forth on her heels. For the first time she had nothing to say. She smiled at the girl and hoped that she would say something, anything.

Ellie blinked. And looked around. Awkwardly.

She scratched her head. "Uh... I'm Ellie. By the way." She said with a curt nod. "Ravenclaw. Hence the robes." She said, pointing to her garb. Could this be any more awkward? Well yeah, probably. But she didn't want to find out. Hopefully the girl would say something. Soon.

Dianna felt kind of relieved that the girl had been the one to start with the talking. "Hi Ellie. I'm Dianna." she said with a friendly smile. "Um.. Slytherin. A third year." she said. Then her mind went poof. After a few seconds Di spoke. "So what are you doing here in the corridor?" she politely asked hoping not to sound rude.

Oh good, conversation. Ellie felt the awkward cloud creep away from them. "I'm a fourth year. I've been meeting a lot of Slytherin's this year." She added. Hmm, what was she doing in the corridor? "Oh, you know... walking." She said with a laugh. "I just got bored and I was tired of sitting on my bed. The lake is too crowded, plus it's too cold, so I came up here." Maybe more detail than Dianna needed, but... for conversation's sake, right?

"Yes, well.." Dianna just shrugged. She didn't really know what to say about Slytherin's spreading across the school grounds. Maybe because their uniforms just stood out to much.

"I see," Di smiled. "It is getting pretty cold out." she added. But this means she has the common room all to herself.. Most especially the warm fire place. "So Ellie, tell me more about yourself." she said.

Ellie nodded, it was cold alright. She shivered just thinking about it. Good thing she had lots of warm coats. Ellie sighed. "Hmm... What about me? Well I suppose... I love to paint, I love nature like trees and forests and stuff." She'd always wanted to go into the Forbidden Forest, not to explore the different creatures, but to look at all the trees. Yeah, nature freak. She pondered some more. "I love astronomy, I love to read... My favorite color is turquoise." She shrugged with a laugh. "Any questions?"

Dianna listened to Ellie. It was very cold that every time she exhaled a puff of white smoke came out of her mouth. Christmas was near alright. "Yes I do, you must love Herbology and Astronomy very much then?" she asked. She seemed like a person who would join those campaigns that muggles advertise on TV. Plant a Tree. Save a Life. Nah, Dianna was more of a listener than a doer.
