Down the staircase to the left of the main staircase in the Entrance Hall lie the dungeons of Hogwarts. In order to reach the various classrooms, dungeons, and the Slytherin Common Room you have to make your way through the creepy, dark, corridors... |

And new victims.
This time it would be the Slytherins. Things were not yet set in stone, but they knew one thing for sure so far - whatever prank they pulled this time, it would be a war of the Houses: Gryffindor vs. Slytherin. With Gryffindor on top, of course.
"How do these people live down here? It's always freezing," said Braeden as they walked down the corridor, his teeth chattering. It probably didn't help that it was the middle of winter and below zero outside. Trina had slipped her hands into her pockets long ago, so her hands weren't suffering like Braeden's. As they walked, Trina carefully examined the hallway, looking for the best place to set up their next scheme. Their suit of armor hadn't worked out- actually, they hadn't thought of a good way to transport it, so they had to let the idea go. At least for now.
Currently, their new plans were almost ready. She had been brushing up on spells and getting ready for what was going to be quite a good prank on the Slytherins. She had quite a few friends that were in Slytherin- but she couldn't help but catch on to Braeden's enthusiasm.
Trina laughed softly. "You would think with their mascot being a reptile, they would want it warmer," she replied shifting her school robes so that they covered her more securely. "It's really not that bad Brae," she told the older boy with a warm smile.

Trina laughed softly. "You would think with their mascot being a reptile, they would want it warmer," she replied shifting her school robes so that they covered her more securely. "It's really not that bad Brae," she told the older boy with a warm smile. Braeden couldn't help but flash Trina an amused, lopsided grin as the girl pointed out that Slytherins should want their dungeons warmer, since their mascot was a reptile. He'd never realized that before. But then again, Braeden never realized many obvious things; he was rather blind.
And then Trina was telling him the cold wasn't that bad?!
Braeden turned to her with a slightly raised eyebrow. "You're right, it's not bad... It's horrible!" said the ever-so-dramatic cowardly lion. Well, it probably didn't help that Braeden was so skinny without much muscle or fat mass to keep him warm. The cold always got to him worse than it did to everyone else. But enough about that! They weren't here to moan and whine about the cold (though Braeden was the one doing all the moaning and whining here); they were here to prank those evil Slytherins. Mwahahaha. Like Trina, Brae had quite a few friends in this House... and he felt slightly guilty for pranking them like this, but... Well. It was tradition! Gryffindor and Slytherin were never meant to be best buddies, they were supposed to be out to get each other!
And soon enough, the two Gryffindors reached the large doors leading to the dungeon that housed all the evil little Slythies. "We're here," announced Braeden as he looked up at the doors towering before them. Now watch a Slytherin walk out right at that moment and hit him on the face with the door. With Braeden's luck, it wasn't unlikely.
"Do you think the fun mirrors will be enough?" he asked the shorter girl beside him. "We should probably add more to it... Banana peels to make them slip or something," he suggested with one of his goofy grins. "Or maybe marbles?"

Secretly, she removed her wand and pointed it towards Braeden, who was walking slightly ahead of her now. She silently cast a warming spell- something that had kept her and her friends warm on the cold New England days. She hoped it would help Brae, Trina didn't want him freezing.
As they walked down the hall, Trina felt her excitement rising. This was going to be one of the best pranks. She hadn't even thought about them getting in trouble- it was all just for fun after all. She had played pranks like this all the time at her old school.
She giggled as Braeden announced their presence. "Are you trying to tell them or are you announcing it for my benefit?" she asked him with another soft laugh. She nodded at his suggestion of adding more. "I was thinking some glass panels, that would make them think there was nothing there- until they walk into it!" she suggested. "Or, some uneven ground that shifts! Like the one in Grease?" she suggested, wondering if her friend had seen the movie.

"Or, some uneven ground that shifts! Like the one in Grease?" she suggested, wondering if her friend had seen the movie. Oh wow. It sure was warm by the Slytherin common room… Those sneaky snakes! They made their corridor cold to keep everyone out, and locked all the warmth in their common room! Braeden could just feel it escaping through the space between the two large doors.
In reality, the warmth Braeden felt was from Trina's spell, but he didn't know that and just assumed the evil Slytherins were behind it. "I bet they have a roaring fire in there," said the boy indignantly, as if the Slytherins were obliged to welcome them with warm fires and pastries. Which they weren't.
Braeden was now standing with his back against the wall, from where he believed the warm to be coming so he could hog it all up, as he listened to Trina suggest more things for their prank - oooh, glass panels? Funnn. Uneven ground that shifts?! Even better! And a Grease reference?! Man. He loved this girl. Braeden was the biggest movie fanatic of life (his dream was to become a wizard film director) and a reference to one of the greatest movies of all time had him grinning like a doof.
Oh, but they were talking about pranks. Not movies. Right. Back to reality!
Braeden wiped the goofy look off his face and nodded his head. "Uneven ground sounds perfect to me," he said. "Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll randomly burst into song and a choreographed dance while they fall," he added with another goofy grin. Hah. Slytherins dancing… and singing… while falling… Yeah. Brae was easily amused. "How are we going to do that, though?" he asked with slightly furrowed brows. Huh. He'd never performed a spell to shift the ground before… He could conjure up some slippery liquid for the Slytherins to slip and fall on when they walked out of their common room, though.

Trina watched as her spell worked, before casting it slightly on herself. It was a bit chilly down here- the stone and cold weather didn't help. However, before long, the spell took hold and she didn't even notice the cold. Excellent- more energy for plotting. "They probably do- they need one with it being so cold down here," she reasoned as Braeden sulked against the doors.
She watched as his eyes widened and she could practically see the gears turning in his head. At his grin, she had to lift a hand to smother a laugh. However, soon he was back to business and she nodded as he spoke. "I really tend to doubt that," she told him, not wanting him to get his hopes up. "However, if we infuse a sing-song spell into some of the stones..." she glanced around at the stone passage. That could work quite well. "And some dancing spells in some of the others?" They could be short term, so that they would expire by the time they reached the end of the hall.
"I'm not sure. We could cast a few of the stones to move up and down- that might work!" she suggested. She was all about spelling the stones tonight- it might not even work. "What else can we do?" she asked, studying the hallway. "We could put ropes across so that they'll have to climb up and duck under," she added, envisioning almost an obstacle course along the passage.

With each new idea that Trina suggested, Braeden's dark eyebrows rose higher and higher on his forehead, until almost reaching his hairline. Merlin. Trina wanted… to send the Slytherins off to boot camp with an obstacle course like that! "That all sounds great, but I think we might want them to make it out of here alive, don't you?" he said with a soft chuckle, obviously just teasing the girl for her sudden outburst of ideas. He definitely wasn't complaining, though; the more ideas, the better.
"I like the idea about enchanting the stones, though," said the boy as he moved away from the doors, just in case any Slytherins heard them. "Some could come up and out of place, and others could sink each time someone stepped on them. They'll be tripping and falling the whole way out to the Entrance Hall," he said with a grin, completely amused by the idea of the poor Slytherins stumbling their way across the corridor.
Braeden glanced down at his watch at that moment. "If we get started soon, we might have it all set up before dinner time. When they get out to head to the Great Hall… they'll find our little surprise." Mwaaahaahhaahhaa! He threw his head back as he cackled like a villain straight out of a comic book. And then some random Slytherin walked out and hit him straight on the face with the door. " OW-- HEY!

He was SO cool.
Leopold Gordon O'Donald was awesome. Of course, he didn't think so because he had NO ego and thought of himself as a loser. When he walked, he had a sort of swagger to him that screamed, HI I'M AWESOME, I'M COOLER than you.
LOL. JK.
Leopold was actually quite AWKWARD when he walked due to long limbs and rather massive height. The boy was after all 6'1 and still growing. The big dork glasses didn't help that much either, in fact it just kind of made him look even MORE silly.
He swore he wasn't silly though.
So with that, Leopold Gordon O'Donald walked all AWKWARDLY to his common room.

"Of course we want them to get out alive!" She wouldn't have been able to forgive herself if any of her friends got caught.
She beamed at his praise, taking out her wand for the first assignment. Brae was the older one after all, so she was going to let him call the shots. "You seem to have that laugh down fairly well!"
Suddenly, the door opened right into Braeden's face, and Trina winced at the impact. "Are you alright?" she asked, going over to make sure he didn't fall down or wasn't too badly injured.

So with that, Leopold Gordon O'Donald walked all AWKWARDLY to his common room. How he had ended up in the Dungeons, Dallin had no idea. He'd been at Hogwarts for months, and yet the only reason he had ever been down here was for Potions But really, you couldn't blame him. He wasn't a Slytherin; he was a Ravenclaw, and his common room was in a tower. He had no reason to be down here.
But... he was. And while he was down here, he might as well check the place out some more. But sadly, this place was quite boring in his opinion, and he didn't exactly want to stay here for a long time.
As he was thinking this, he saw another person. He looked familiar, but he couldn't remember his name. "Hey," he called, walking a little quicker to catch up with the boy. "Did I meet you at the Opening Feast?" Hopefully, because if not that would be embarrassing.

It was surprising to know that Leo had gotten used to the dungeons, when he had first been sorted into Slytherin he was TERRIFIED of the place his common room was. He sowre their were TORTUROUS devices down here AND THEY WANTED TO USE THEM ON HIIIIIIIM!! But now, it was December and he had YET to see a torture device so WOOT.
Suddenly, though...Leopold heard someone SPEAKING to him. The tall boy turned around, seeing another fella...around his age speaking to him. Leo eyed him, listening to him as he spoke. He certainly LOOKED familiar. He eyed the boy even more before looking down at his robes, at the little crest thingie. He was a RAVENCLAW. "I dunno..."Leo said with a shrug. There was one way to determine it though, "Did you see my AWESOME dancing?"Cause like...if he had then YES,they had met because Leo danced at the Ravenclaw table.

Braeden brought a hand up to his forehead and let it slip over his nose. It seemed it wasn't broken. Thank Merlin! He was not in the mood to visit the Hospital Wing again. Healer Moretti would probably start thinking he was stalking her. But… his forehead and nose really did hurt. Ow… Stupid little second year Slytherin just bursting through the doors like that!
"I'm fine," said Braeden with a smile that looked more like a grimace as Trina asked if he was alright. "I think I'll survive this time… Unless I'm a ghost right now… Oh Merlin, I'm not a ghost, am I?!" He looked down at himself, and at seeing he was still solid and couldn't see the walls and the floor through his body, sighed in relief. Whew. Not a ghost yet, nope. Anyway, where were they… Oh right. The cackle. As Braeden remembered Trina's question, he laughed. "I prefer to be behind the cameras, but if I ever got to be in front of one, I'd definitely try out for the villain-with-an-evil-cackle role," he said with a grin.
But! Back to their evil prank plotting!
"How about I enchant the stones while you set up the mirrors and glass?" suggested the boy, his goofy and innocent grin now turning more devious and mischievous. Aw man… He couldn't wait to see the Slytherins tripping and stumbling all through the corridor! Mwahaha!

No need to repeat that incident. "Are you sure? It might be best if we get it looked at..." Trina couldn't see any blood, but that didn't mean that something else wasn't hurt.
At his question of being a ghost, Trina gave him a good poke. "Not a ghost- unless we both are... or I'm just a figment of your imagination," she pointed out. Let him ponder that! Or attach movies that had similar plots to it... She laughed softly and nodded. "Ah, I see... well, that's quite a good cackle you have there. Perhaps you can sub it for the villain in your movie."
"Sounds good to me!" Trina had been practicing the spells to do just that for the past week. She turned away from Braeden and casted the mirrors onto the walls. and then adding a few glass panels in the middle of the hallway. Some mirrors she also put in the middle of the corridor until it really was like a fun house floor. "Well? What do you think?" she asked, admiring her work.

"Nah, it's fine, really," said Braeden as Trina asked if he was sure. The pain was already beginning to go away, so he was sure he'd be fine. Either way, he didn't want to let this get in the way of their pranking! The boy laughed as his fellow Gryffindor then suggested the idea of her being a ghost as well, or a figment of his imagination. "Then I must be going mad," he said with a soft chuckle, shaking his head slightly. Wait… he wasn't imagining her, right?! She was real… right?! Ever the gullible one, Braeden honestly feared this for a moment and reached out to the girl, tapping the tip of her nose lightly. Solid. Whew. She was real!
Oh crap. She was real, now he had to explain why he just so randomly and out of nowhere had decided to tap her nose. Besides the reason, of course, that he was just naturally a total weirdo. "Sorry 'bout that, I was just… I was-- I was just making sure you were… real…" Oh Merlin. And now that he said it aloud he really sounded stupid. 'Had to make sure you were real'?! Yeah, that's very… smart, Braeden. Smooth. Luckily for the boy, though, Trina was soon moving on to the pranking business and had started conjuring up mirrors and a glass to confuse the Slytherins with.
As she set to work, Braeden began to move down the corridor muttering spells as he pointed his wand at the stones on the floor. He didn't enchant every single stone 'cause that would have been too much work, but he did charm some here and there, enough to get in the Slytherins' way as they walked out of their common room unsuspectingly. Mwahahahahaa! Once he was all done with that, he walked back over to Trina as she asked what he thought of her work. He laughed lightly as he admired his deformed reflection staring back at him as he walked. "It's perf-- GAH!" Of course. Of course Braeden would go and walk straight into the glass. Of course he would fall on his own trap! What else could be expected from someone this clumsy…
Braeden just sort of bounced back after hitting the glass and rubbed his forehead with his hand. This was the second hit he received on his precious forehead. Ow. "Pretty effective…. you got me already," he said with a soft chuckle.

He distictly remembered the Slytherin coming over to the Ravenclaw table and yelling something. Add that to the quote-unquote 'awesome' dancing, and Dallin was now sure that he had met this boy. He just couldn't remember his name.

Whoever was the architect of this castle really didn't think things through did they? Why must the dungeons be slippery in some places? Just…why? They were bad enough as it was. Cold, dark, and grim; didn't have to be slippery too and so darn maze like.
Aw well, a little scratch wasn't going to stop her from quiet freedom!

It was all sorted, his Geminio charm was flawless, and he had it all wrapped up, it would be perfect......hopefully.
The school around him was dark, there were only a few more minutes till curfew, so the timing was perfect, no one would catch him, especially considering he was deep in Snake Territory.
Aha!
There it was, he wasn't meant to know where the door to the Snakes Common room was, but he did. Hiding in a small enclave that was along the wall, the boy went to his knees and took the package out of his bag. The note was scrolled up, and tucked underneath the string that wrapped up the brown paper package, which was clearly labelled “Give to Destiny Shepard!”
Running over to the door, he KNOCKED loudly, and dropped the package and then ran back to his spot, were he was invisible to all |

She grinned as he mentioned going mad. Well, would sane people be down here turning the hallway into a fun house? She didn't think so... but she wasn't going to say that.
Suddenly, Brae had reached over at tapped the end of her nose. She blinked in surprise, having not expected the motion. Then, he was stammering, trying to explain. After a moment, Trina realized what he was trying to say and giggled. "Oh, that's alright! I probably would have done the same!" she assured him as she went about conjuring more warped mirrors and glass.
Trina was finishing another mirror when suddenly, she heard someone fall privy to one of her mirrors. She turned with a grin, only to find Braeden there. She winced and dodged the other mirrors she had placed in order to reach her friend. "I'm sorry," she said, feeling bad for him. He was going to have some massive bumps on his head after today. "If you look down, there are marks where the glass panels are," she said, pointing to where the glass was revealed. "Are you alright?"

After that trip to Hogsmeade, Matt realized that things here were actually not as bad as he originally thought; he had met some pretty cool people and got more of an idea of how big Quidditch was here, it kinda made him want to try playing Chaser or Keeper since he definitely had the skills for either position on the pitch. He headed into the dungeon corridor, shoving his hands into the pockets of his dark jeans; there was no need to head off to the common room yet.

He would just… have a huge bump on his forehead the following morning, but aside from that he should be fine. As Trina then explained to him that there were marks where the glass panels were, Braeden looked down to the stone floors and gave a comprehending ' ooohhh'. Yeah, they were definitely a lot easier to see when you knew what you were watching out for.
"Well, in that case," started the boy with one of his dorky and devious lopsided grins, "I think it's time we step back and let the traps do their work," he said, raising his eyebrows slightly at the girl, mischief sparkling in his brown eyes. Hehehehe. It would be fun to watch the unsuspecting Slytherins tripping on the moving stones and running into glass panels! Mwaahhaha. They had no idea what was coming their way. "We'd best be careful, though, wouldn't want to fall for our own trap again..." muttered Braeden with a soft chuckle.

Aw well, a little scratch wasn't going to stop her from quiet freedom! Sweet Merlin!
Evelyn was a mind reader. Why else would she have said the SAME exact thing as Destiny was thinking? Seriously. Destiny Shepard was getting tired of her friends not telling her their secrets. Evelyn forgetting to tell her that she could read minds, Mia forgetting to tell her she was dating that Durmstrangler and Marie..well, there was probably something that she forgot to tell her.
HUMPH! Now she wanted her horn even more so she could honk it in all her friend's ears. She would put them all in the same room, then do that one spell that she couldn't think of at the moment and make the HONK so loud that..something would happen.
It was really hard for Destiny to think and run at the same time.
But seeing Evelyn slip on the floor had her running coming to a halt and she couldn't help but burst into laughter. "That's what you get for STEALING!"
Hmm, she should learn those stealing charm things. Like the one Lawson used.

Yup. She was back at the portrait hole leading to the common room.
How did THAT happen?
Shrugging her shoulders as her laughter subsided, she decided to go and tell Lafay what her friend had done. Surely the Head of House would make her give the horn back.
Shuffling towards the portrait, her eyes landed on a rather big and brown package and being the nosy person that she is, she bent down and picked it up. But she soon regretted picking it up and she turned towards the steps that Evelyn had just run up. "EVELYN!!! SOMEONE SENT ME A BOMB!"
Someone watches too many muggle movies, that's for sure.

She hoped he was okay... but if he was concussed, well, she would just levitate him to the Hospital Wing. That would be easy enough, but hopefully she didn't need to worry about that at all.
After indicating the marks for the glass, Trina smiled as Braeden saw the danger. Looking up, she nodded in agreement. "Yes, we don't want to get caught in our own contraption," she told him with a grin. Laughing with Brae, she moved over to the side of the hallway, wondering where it would be best for them to stay out of the way, but also watch. "Where do you think we should go?" she asked, thinking it would be best for them to stay away from the door- for Braeden's sake at least.

Hogwarts, all in all, was pretty legitimate. But the one thing Anakin hated. Yes, HATED. Was how easy it was to get lost. The castle was too BIIG. Or maybe he was too small? MEh, that didn't matter right now. What mattered was he was LOST. AGAIN.
But the even BIGGER bummer to this certain predicament? He had to get lost in a slightly DARK hallway. Without his eyes he had NOTHING. Literally. It's not like he could hear people coming towards him, as he'd shown in the creepy area of DA.
GASP! What if he almost killed someone AGAIN!? That'd be...bad. Really really reeeaaaaalllllyyyyy BAD.
So he did the most logical thing he could think of. "Hellooooo?"
Yeah, he was smart. Let's just have the deaf kid call out in hopes of getting an answer...an answer he wouldn't be able to HEAR.

Once he heard someone call out in the corridor, Matt got up to investigate; being in dark areas didn't scare him, after Raven had decided to be the good role model that she so was and lead him around the back alleys of Kilkenny at midnight. In a rather smart decision, he grabbed a mini flashlight from his back pocket which he always had on hand, there was nothing like keeping up with the whole facade of being a muggle when you really weren't.
As he continued down the corridor, he stumbled over something and ended up on the the ground. Oh bravo, wait to fall over air.. But he noticed another boy who kinda looked a little lost, seemed like he was fast becoming the welcoming party around here despite the fact he was a new student himself. "Oh hey dude.." Ah the speech patterns of the Cali surfer dude.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Stuart Kynaston Ravenclaw Sixth Year Hogwarts RPG Name: Rome Keller Drechsler Gryffindor First Year | Sardine VIP || Shark Attack! || D A R T E R || Captain Oblivious Carter paced the hallway in front of the wall that he knew contained the entrance to the Slytherin common room. He smiled as he walked. And as he walked he fiddled with a golden pocket watch. He never understood why pocket watches were a big fashion thing. The watches did nothing but create an odd lump in his pocket. And tell time. But that wasn't the point.
Any second Caroline would be walking out of the common room and they'd be starting what would most likely be one of the most awkward best nights of his life. He just had to think positive. After all, there's always that phase where you get to know someone before you know them. That's just how things worked. And Carter planned on getting to know this girl. After all, it had been more than a year, if anything a night like this was long overdue.
