Caroline walked out of the common room into the corridor of the dungeons. She looked up and down the corridor before actually walking out of the door. She so could have not lived and been able to breath in the time period. She did look pretty good though, even though the dress ws snug fitting around her. She looked up and saw Carter standing there as she stepped into the coridor more. She flashed him a smile. wow he did clean but nice after a match.

"Hey" she said putting her hand up in a wave, as she walked over to him "Well, Well Mr. Carter. You do clean up well after a match" She laughed. Quite handsome

Carter smiled as he saw Caroline come out. He held his mouth open for a second before regaining himself. "Thanks." he said running a hand through his hair. "I told you I look better after I shower." he said with a smirk.

"And wow. You look great." he said walking around her.

He then stopped next to her and offered his arm. "Shall we?" he asked.

Caroline nodded in agreement when he said I told you so. She was nervous suprisingly this was Caroline first date-ish thing. She smiled as he said that she looked great."Thank you!" she with a grim She blushed. She nodded "Yes." As she took his arm.

"To the tea party?" she asked.

"To the tea party!" Carter exclaimed. He was gradually becoming more comfortable and was realizing this wouldn't be quite as awkward as he made it out to be.

"How about on the way you tell me about you?" he suggest. She already knew he was a Gryffindor and played quidditch. He just knew that she was a Slytherin and liked to watch quidditch.

Okay, so maybe they knew about the same amount about each other... but he was much more interested in talking about her. He wondered in particular why they hadn't run into each other before.

ooc: next post up in the tea party? you can post wherever Caroline wants to go first.

He looked at the other boy for a few moments before shrugging his shoulders."What's YOUR name, blue person?"He said. Yes, he was a blue person because...he was a Ravenclaw. :33

Dallin honestly couldn't remember if the boy had told him his name. He probably had, and Dal just couldn't remember it. But, since the Slytherin apparently couldn't remember either... "Nope, I don't think you did." Heh. Perfect excuse.

Blue person? Dal looked down at his robes, at his Ravenclaw crest, which was blue. He supposed that was enough to get him the name of 'blue person.' "Dallin." he said with a friendly smile. "Dallin McKinley, Blue Person." Apparently.

Light? She could see the light! Wasn’t it bad to be running TOWARDS the light though? She thought people usually said don’t go towards the light. Eh. It didn’t matter. Light meant freedom from smoke and flames. No matter how awesome it was.

Bursting towards the next corridor and away from the smoke, Evelyn slowed down and took her hand away from Lexi’s to place on her knees as she bent forward, coughing and gasping like all get out.

Holy Merlin…

Her throat hurt. Ow.

Following suit, Lexi dropped Evelyn's hand and leaned against the NASTY dungeon wall to try and catch her breath. She hacked and coughed and her eyes still watered.

Oh man... she was SOAKING wet and freezing now... and... yeah. Not good. Looking at Evelyn after she somewhat caught her breath she splutter, "We have to get out of here... before you know who catches us down here... forget the fire, dude. We got to run!"

They needed to scurry away like frightened little bunnies before someone... ANYONE caught them at the scene of a massive cauldron fire. Yeah. They HAD to go.

Now. Lexi pushed herself off of the wall and after coughing several more times she said, "Come on, we need to at least get to the ground floor." she said before gently taking Evelyn's arm and tugging her along.

Oh….jeez…

Lifting her head up to looking at Lexi, the Slytherin took in one more giant breath and let it out to try and ease the coughing before standing up straight, and placing her hands on her hips while looking around the corridor. It almost seemed as if…the smoke was creeping its way into here as well. Heck, she couldn't really tell. Her eyes as it was had had too much smoke, ash, dirt, and tears in them.

Who know who? Like…omg, Lexi was totally right. She didn’t want you know who to catch them when she JUST was starting to get back on the woman’s good side. "You're right." She said breathlessly with a nod. Ground floor? She would probably die from no air entering her lungs by then but…it was for their own safety.

"This…this never happened." She nodded, just before Lexi started to tug her along. Covering her mouth as a few coughs escaped her, hazel eyes glanced back to where they came before looking towards the way they were going. Right, that wasn’t them that did that. Merlin, she was so in shock, she was letting the Gryffindork touch her arm!

…Right, never happened.

For Jessers

Amadeus strolled along, having just paid a visit to the potions master about a bit of trouble he was having with the latest assignment. Typical Ravenclaw, always having a million detailed questions for professors pertaining to school assignments. Shivering a bit, he stuffed his hands into the pockets of his trousers as he snuggled into his cloak. It was chilly down here, as if the ghosts had been having a rendezvous and had left their negative, cold auras here to stay. The seventh year knew that, in fact, the dungeons were surrounded by the lake, which was what made them so unbearably cold. It was a wonder that his warm breath wasn't visible when he exhaled.

itsjustjesse 02-20-2011 04:47 AM

Kyle wondered why they had built the dungeons with the lakes surrounding them. She was glad she didn't have to live down here in the dungeons she would probably freeze in the might and have to have someone cast a warming charm on her ritually. Bundling her cloaks around her and pulling her sweater's sleeves further down her arms she didn't see the person in front of her. Until she had nearly walked right into them.

"Oops," she said as she slipped catching herself on the slimy wall. "Sorry if I bumped into you," she spoke, her words soft. Her blue and bronze Ravenclaw scarf on -as she was trying to collect the moss from the walls. Maybe it could be used for some potion? She didn't know.

That was when she noticed, he too was a Ravenclaw, "Hey! Ranvenclaw?" She asked pointing at his badge, and then back at hers.

"I'm Kyleigh - but please call me Kyle!!" she introduced herself.

princess of*hp* 02-20-2011 04:54 AM

Amadeus was a bit shocked, and perturbed, to find that someone had run into him. And once again, yet another blonde was introducing herself to him. What was it with blonde students running into and speaking to Deus all over campus? Was it the new trend? Mentally shrugging off his random thoughts, he grinned slightly, nodding. "Amadeus," He smiled, a bit surprised at the sudden introduction. But then again, he was fine with it. He didn't have much to do anyways after having taken care of his potions ordeal.

"Ravenclaw, eh? How come I've never seen you in the common room?" He cocked his head to the side, taking the measure of her. She looked older, possibly a sixth or seventh year, but it was hard to tell.

Kyle couldn't help but smile as Amadeus asked why he hadn't seen her in the common room. "Oh, right probably because I'm was hopelessly shy until this year - hardly did anything but study." She laughed, even though she was too shy to even participate in class discussions which meant she never helped the school's point system.

"Amadeus, neat name there was a muggle musician I heard of by that name. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, my little sister Charlie took piano and had to play his music all the time." She smiled, "that and opposite class schedules might be why you never saw me around, aren't you a seventh year?" She asked smiling.

Amadeus shrugged at her comment relating to her academic habits. "Typical eagle, I suppose." Adjusting the strap on his leather book bag, he listened to her with mild interest. It wasn't often that such strange occurrences happened to him. Maybe that was the reason why he didn't have a huge network of friends, even in his last year of schooling.

"Ah, yes, I haven't heard that before," He chuckled lowly, shaking his head slightly as she referred to his name. At least to his knowledge, his parents had not named him after a mere muggle, no matter how great that muggle had been. His family was proudly pureblood and so was Deus, although he decided not to get into it at this moment in time with the unaware girl. As she continued to speak, he was surprised that she knew his house. "Oh, well, I am," He laughed once more, "You might have seen me at the last quidditch team? I'm a beater for our house." Deus grinned proudly, his ego flaunting like none other.

itsjustjesse 02-20-2011 07:59 AM

"Good for you brilliant job at the last game," She smiled the last game was the first game she'd really had a vested interest in. She loved flying. "I actually want to make brooms for a living," she admitted quietly. Then, she realized, "Wait sorry messed up Mozart was a wizard who made music for muggle instruments and became especially famous because of that. Forgot about that part." She laughed, "Yeah probably but we're also typically loyal and I'm not always that." She admitted shrugging her shoulder.

She couldn't help but smile for she noticed his ego showing with the part about being a beater. He probably loved it - or loved girls flirting with him because of it. "Hope the next game goes as swimmingly isn't it against the hufflepuffs?" Kyle asked, somewhat unsure, she hoped she was right. "Anyways whoever its against we're sure to crush them!" She couldn't help but flush at her own inability to know who they were playing against.

princess of*hp* 02-20-2011 08:11 AM

Amadeus laughed. "Loyalty was Hufflepuff, I thought? Oh well, it doesn't matter." Once again, he shrugged off such unimportant matters. "But what about you? You seem to be... a sixth year? Am I right?" His brows knit together. She did seem a sixth year: not having quite gained the cool indifference that came along with one's last year at the school and still retaining some youthful exuberance that came along with the younger students.

"Oh, thank you," He grinned and pinked slightly, averting his gaze for a moment. It was slightly embarrassing to talk about quidditch, especially as his overzealous ways at practice had put a chaser in the hospital wing with a broken arm recently. Hopefully, she would be well enough for their upcoming game against possibly the toughest team around. "We're playing Hufflepuff, so we're all a bit on guard. I think we can do it though. We need all of the support we can get, eh?"

"Yeah I am in sixth year," Kyle nodded, her blond curls bouncing as she did. "And I always forget the house motto's i just remember eagle-smart, and that's really it." She smiled.

"Anyway it was really nice meeting you Amadeus," Kyle smiled. "And I'm terribly sorry that I ran into you, its just probably should have looked to make sure I didn't step in the green sludge." She laughed, shivering slightly, but she didn't mind - she liked the cold despite what most would think it was relaxing to her.

"Don't be embarrassed being a beater is tough people get hurt, I mean my brother was one at Durmstrang - he lives with my dad and me mum - two different houses but they never split." She admitted, not afraid of the information she was sharing it was probably all over the magical world especially seeing her mom worked in the ministry.

My last post of the night "/

Amadeus continued to flash his winning smile. "No, really, don't fret your little head about it," He responded to her constant stream of apologies. He hadn't seen anyone be this apologetic towards him since Vashti spoke to him during the paint fight at the start of the term. "It's fine, really." Now, if some of the grime from the walls had gotten onto his robes, into his hair, or onto his bag, that would have been a different story with the ever-proper Ravenclaw boy.

"Well," Deus prompted, looking around momentarily, "I suppose you have a class to attend to?" She seemed anxious, as if she had things on her mind or was going to be late for a date of some sort. "Or something girly to do, at least? Don't think that you need to stay back and apologize, dear."

itsjustjesse 02-20-2011 08:34 AM

"Not don't have anything to do today actually already finished my 'trash' project in Transfiguration, and well, Charms is in the bag" litterally, she thought she had a bag full of frozen chocolate frogs ready to be counted then eaten.

"I only came down here to collect some well," she shuddered, "sludge, there might be a potion it would be useful in - even ones for the other girls here to buy...say make-up." She chuckled, she was on a business venture to be exact.

"I just sometimes, well, i've been called a babbler." She smiled, "and sometimes I just apologize for no ruddy reason." She laughed a very kind, soft laugh. "I actually figured you were going somewhere with a bag - and all, but you must be coming from somewhere then eh?"

princess of*hp* 02-20-2011 11:05 PM

"Oh, nevermind then," The blonde shrugged over his inquiry, having been wrong to even ask. "Oh, potion ingredients?" He rose his eyebrows slightly. "From the walls?" He looked about and took a step closer to that which she spoke of. "Really?" His eyes narrowing, he leaned in. Maybe it would be of use in some potion or other. "Ingenious." He said the last word to himself more than to her. Maybe when he was down here for potions, he could covertly grab some of the sludge and place it in a jar. It could probably add some spice to his lackluster sleeping draught.

Turning back to her, Amadeus scratched the back of his neck as he replied, "Yes, I was just leaving from seeing the potions master, actually. I had a few questions about an essay that we're currently writing."

Anna / Sierra XD

And he was right. There she was. Or the shadow of the girl, that is. Who, by the way, walked pretty fast.

"Hey, you, Slytherin girl!" he exclaimed, catching up to her, "You forgot your quill in there," and it mustn't have been a very special quill either, but he hated to leave things behind, and that's why he'd decided to take it along with him.

And then...leave to the Kitchens, because the Dungeons without Lafay were creepy enough.

He was holding the quill up for her to take.

Sierra paused in her tracks and, before turning around to see who it was calling out to her, rolled her eyes in annoyance. Slytherin girl...honestly? Idiot boy...whoever he was.

She turned on her heels and came face to face with the Alzheimer's expert from the Potions Club. She wanted to be annoyed with him--to snap at him and deny the fact that it was her quill he was holding. However, it definitely was her quill, and...she had something to discuss with him anyway.

"Sierra," she corrected. "My name is Sierra." She eyed him for a few seconds longer before backtracking a bit. "Thanks," she said, accepting the quill and tossing it into her bag. "So, I wanted to talk to you about something. That cure for Alzheimer's--you up for working out a possible potion?" she asked. "My sister's a potions mistress, and...I know a thing or two about brewing. I'm interested to see if we can come up with anything."

Ha. He didn't think this through, right? Calling out for a Slytherin girl right there in Snake's territory? Anyone could've thought he was calling for them. But, oh, her name was Sierra?

How was he supposed to know it? Tsk.

Treyen smiled, and nodded "Well, Sierra, my name's Treyen," which was something she didn't know. Apparently. And then she took the quill, "You're welcome." Eek! 'You're welcome'? To a Slytherin? Er, yeah, he didn't like that. However, it was time to go now, right?

No. It seemed she still had something to say.

His eyebrow was raised. Why did it matter that her sister was a Potions Mistress? "I'd actually like that, yes," because Sierra was a smart girl, no? "I'm good with Potions, so, I don't think we'll have too much problem with figuring something out," not at all, unless she was one of those know-it-alls that never accepted other people's ideas.

"I think we could meet in the Potions lab some times before the next meeting, sound good?" not right now, because they had curfew and all.

Treyen---whatever kind of name that was supposed to be. Whatever, though. If she wanted to brew a potion, she needed this boy's help, like it or not. He had all the knowledge, and she had--well, she had the determination. At the meeting, he seemed to believe that nothing could be done for Alzheimer's, but she had a feeling something could be done for it. Nevermind the fact that the potion was for Muggles--she just wanted to brew it.

"Sounds good to me," she agreed. She took a glance down the corridor, knowing Lafay was lurking around somewhere. "We better get going--curfew and all. Owl me? When you're ready to meet?" She heard steps coming from somewhere down the corridor, and although it could have been any of the students heading away from the meeting, she didn't want to take her chances and get caught talking when she was meant to be heading back to the common room. "See ya around," she said, and turning on her heels once again, she headed back off in the direction she'd originally been heading in.

"Perfect." He said, with one single nod. And then noticed she was eying the Corridor. It was probably best to get going, yes? "Yes, I'll let you know." he said, and watched her go. The sound of footsteps didn't make him panic or anything of the sort, after all, he needed to walk past the Corridor in order to get to the Kitchens (from Lafay's meeting), so, there was no way he'll be getting in trouble.

Unless it was Saylen, then he'd be in trouble, because that woman didn't seem to believe a word he said.

Fair enough. He didn't trust her.

But it was amazing how he could trust a little Slytherin girl and not a Professor. Amazing.

Either way, he straightened himself and walked the other way, off to the Kitchen first, then the Common Room, yes.

She chuckled. "Anyways I get what you mean, there are certain things I don't want even my Potions master to know." Kyle nodded, "What were you asking about it - if you don't mind me asking that is?" Kyle asked smiling.

She was just curious as she had questions about it as well.
