The last lesson of term was upon her, and Renée could feel how things seemed to be both more relaxed and more stressful. If she could have figured out how to make it work, she would have held this lesson outside as well, but instead she’d just taken the time to make the room look as little like a regular classroom as she could. Minus the omnipresent shelves along one wall, and her desk near the front, at least. But even that was transfigured to look more like a little café table instead of the normal desk, her wooden box still present near her elbow.
Scattered around the room, as she sat at her own little table double-checking things, were a multitude of little round tables. No table was the same, although they shared the basic design and the three chairs around each one. There were wooden tables, wicker tables, several different colors of wrought iron tables, all with chairs to match, and cushions so as to be comfortable . . . it created both a semi-chaotic arrangement and an oddly pleasing one. The shelves contained several teapots, as well as a large assortment of cups, but nothing seemed exactly out of place. It just remained for the students to arrive, and then things could get started.
ooc: I'm going to be at work (or asleep) for much of the time between now and the lesson starting, but I'll open this so people can RP their students arriving, etc. As always, try to keep the chatting to a minimum and I'll reply to any greetings/start the lesson when I'm available . . . in, oh, twenty hours or so?
lol Rae. And, thread will close either later tonight or some time tomorrow. ^_^

As Renée watched her students react to the announcement, she leaned up against her table to get comfortable. It wasn't worth sitting down quite yet, as she saw people trying to fit in one last reading before she wrapped things up. She smiled at Rae as the Slytherin uncharacteristically thanked her, however. "You're welcome, Rae. And if the one symbol doesn't clarify things, perhaps there are others that will do so. Or, unfortunately, the symbol is telling you you'll need to find out what's going to happen on your own. Tasseomancy is not without questions," she replied, still questioning the girl's change in behavior nonverbally while addressing the last portion of her statement to the class as a whole. It was definitely an important concept to understand. Interpretation of the symbols was one thing, but exact answers were quite another. Human fallibility always came into play.
But, glancing at her watch, she stood up again. "Looks like time's almost up, so why don't you try and finish things up and then you're free to go," she announced with another smile. "There won't be a homework assignment for this lesson, specifically, but I'll post an assignment to act as your final as soon as I can get back to my office. So keep your eyes out." Stepping around her table, she gracefully sat down and pulled a teacup that had been half-hidden behind the wooden box around to occupy herself until the classroom emptied, but she glanced up at the students again for a moment before truly distracting herself. "I hope to see most of you next term, as well as at the end-of-term feast, and have an amazing summer," she concluded, before applying herself to looking for her own predictions. Unless anyone had more questions, and she hadn't forgotten Josh's request either. Luckily, she didn't need to concentrate too much.

Samira was a bit disappointed that the lesson was over already. She wasn't the best at Divination, per say, but she enjoyed a challenge and things that were complicated so she could improve herself. As people started to wrap up, Samira walked over to Professor Bishop. "Professor?" she said. "I just wanted to thank you for your help. I think I've gotten the hang of it better now, Divination, i mean. I'll definitely be coming next term. So, I'll see you at the feast."

Ah, it was over.
But Helena had fun. Really. Aaaand no assignments for this lesson! "I hope you'll have an amazing summer as well," she said, smiling. And professor Bishop will definitely see her next term. Not just because she wanted to take all the classes. But you know, even if Divination isn't her best subject, it's fun when she likes the professor, right? Hehe.

Emily was a bit disappointed that the lesson was over.. all the classes seemed to be going really quickly recently, and soon enough the term would be over. And Emily would leave the castle for the last time...
It had been an interesting term, a turbulent term, a victorious term... so much had happened and so much had changed.
Packing her things up, Emily remembered the symbols from her tea cup... perhaps they the tower and wheel weren't such a bad thing. It marked a new chapter in her life. The unknown.
"Thanks for the lesson Professor", she said as she slung her bag over her shoulde and left the room.

Selina gathered her things and put away the tea. She looked back at Kurumi with her tired eyes. This lesson had been way to much for her. Visions always seemed to knock the energy out of her. Afterwards she always felt tired and hungry.
Once she was ready she made her way to the front of the room. There she stopped by the Professor and smiled, "Thank you. For everything." Selina hoped she understand the weight of those words. Bishop was her favorite teacher for more than one reason. After all she had been through this term having someone there who understood because of years of study was a nice thing to have.
"Have a nice summer and see you at the feast."
Selina turned to leave but then stopped. She pivoted around and met up with Bishop once more, "If I have any... questions... can I owl you?"

They were done? Well, he was done. So, he rearranged his things as quickly as possible, and then casted Scourgify on the cup and those drops on the table, just...because this was Bishop.
And once he had everything ready he walked up to her desk, not before waving goodbye to Alex and taking his own bag with him, "Professor Bishop, thanks for...pretty much everything," he smiled, "And, try and refuse any work offer you get over the summer, I'll be much pleased if you get to be here next term as well." This wasn't the same Lockhart she'd met, clearly.
"See you around." He smiled again and started to walk away, he had a long way down the stairs.

Luin looked up at the professor as she was finishing up her reading. Class was over? Okay, that kinda went fast, but it was interesting, even if she wished they were doing the hazelnuts again. She looked down at the dregs again, deciding against trying to decipher anything else. She then cleaned her stuff up and gathered up her bag. She started on her way out of the classroom, "Than you Professor." she smiled, glancing down at the cup that the professor was looking in. She then left the classroom, ready to go and study for the rest of her finals.

Nika smiled at her professor she walked up to her with a big smile on her face. Nika didn't want to leave Hogwarts. She would miss everything and she would miss her favorite professor. "Thank you so much for all of the help Professor! I will really, really miss you. A lot. I can't wait until next term. But don't worry I will make sure to read a book or two on divination over the holidays!" Nika couldn't resist hugging her professor. Besides it was probably the last time they would have a chance to talk anyways.

Sure, Evelyn may have gotten the cup, and saucer, and tea pot and whatever else she needed, but the professor should have known that some people who drank tea would get sleepy! Really now. Tea with the combination of Divination?! Why not just hand out pillows and blanket and say 'Here, this is a comfy place to sleep'.
Which of course, the Slytherin would have been grateful for, considering her back and neck were going to be killing her when she woke up. Yes. She fell asleep. Only for the few minutes though. She was wide awake and trying to determine this weird symbol that looked to be like...lines...
...before falling asleep.
Of course, her book hid her, standing up straight and open on her desk while she was crouched bellow it with her arms being used as pillows, but she was sure sooner or later, she would wake up. Right? RIGHT!??!

WHA?
When he heard the younger Slytherin girl's response, of course, it made the boy froze for a moment...well...because...that was a touchy subject since Lafay had burned his gifts into a mere pile of ash without even stopping and thinking over it for an instant. Pffft. At least he had not bought them like the Poisonous Princess stated. It'd have been more painful if he had for the Gryffindor boy already had very little money left with him. So...
*glare*
...he sent the she-snake one of his rare glares ''Too bad they were not for you, were they? Who would buy those to a Little Poisonous Princess anyway?'' Surely, while saying that Josh ignored the fact that he had brought them for a Big Venomous Queen. Anyway...back to the cup-tea reading stuff.
...
Eh...
Then right after smiling at Kurumi again, the lion boy got back to his own desk to get busy with his own cup reading. After spending a couple of moments drinking the tea which neither he liked nor disliked, he carefully dealed with the almost empty cup and the saucer as the professor had told them to do so. Well...this was the easy part..and boring part. He decided that part was boring as he just staaaared at the cup before him waiting for it to get all ready to be read.
Okaaay...enough waiting! Josh hated waiting unless it was for a certain she-snake. Therefore impatiently grabbing the cup he started to examine the figures in it. If there were any figures in it of course. C'mon tea things! He needed to see a quest! Hmmmm... What was that? A pile? Or maybe a mountain? It just looked like a hill anyway but one big hill...one big hill meant mountain? *sigh* Deciding he was not going to be able to decide what it was, Josh just chose to ignore that part of the cup and went for the other side instead.
Ooooooh! Now, this was goood! A smirk appeared on the lion boy's face when his eyes caught something looked like flame there. Hehehehe. Evelyn loved fire, he knew that. And he had fire in his cup!!! Looking up from the cup, his gaze searched the Slytherin girl in the classroom. Wheeere was she?

Yes. Where was she? Wherever she was she just needed to see THAT! Yeah. She did! So, once Josh's dark brown eyes spotted the girl who looked like she was about to sleep, or already asleep, he stood up and ran to the seat next to her. ''ROSE! Rose! Wake up!''
*poke poke*
''Look what i have! I have fire in my cup, Rose! Yeah! Fire!''
That looked like fire, right? Or flame. Both were the same, anyway. And now getting curious the Gryffindor boy grabbed the list of meanings. What did that mean in his cup? It would be nice and useful to know after all. Sure. Aaaand...there it was...fire...
O_O!
What the...?! After what Sierra had said to him this was the second shock to him in this class but definitely was the bigger one. How could it...? Anyway! At least, this time, he could think quickly and properly and just grabbed the list out of the girl's view to hide it. Hide it now! But where?
In his pocket, of course, as it was the first safe hiding place he could think of.

Mmmnooogetawayugh.
Grimacing, she twitched cringed away from the annoying pokes and turn her head to GLARE at whoever it was. Ugh, oh. Josh. We GLARE at you right now. However, the reason why he was waking her up was interesting and boring all at the same time. Fire? She saw no flames! No pretty red flames with the hint of blue, yellow, or orange in it. She saw a cup. Meh.
"Really?" she mumbled, sitting up straight and reaching up to the ceiling to stretch her back. These desks and chairs were uncomfortable. "What does it mean?" Fire that is. What...did it mean? "And where's my list parchment?"
Frown-y face.
Alright. Who STOLE her list?! She knew she had it when she was trying to interpret her own cup. Pfft. Take advantage of her sleepy state. She saw how it was then. Well, she'll be the one laughing in the end. When she took ALL the lists in the room for herself.
thread will close later tonight. *nods* Everyone's in here, too.

To be honest, Renée hadn't expected the response she had gotten, to her closing speech. But, she'd gotten a response, so she set her cup down to smile at everyone that had approached her before leaving. "You're welcome, Emily and Luin, and thank you, Helena," she replied to the two Ravenclaws and the little Slytherin, before addressing the others. It seemed her students had more to say to her than she'd thought. "That's good to hear, Samira," she said to the other little Slytherin, before her gaze landed on Selina. A lot had gone on with the young Gryffindor, but it seemed things had gone about as well as they could have. "You're very welcome, Selina," she responded with a concerned smile. The girl looked exhausted, but she hoped she could relax for a bit. Lessons could be hard enough for first years without dealing with everything else Selina had to deal with. "And of course you may." She'd said she'd be available to the girl, and that wouldn't stop just because the term had.
As Treyen seemed to be the next to want to speak with her, Renée prepared for just about anything. They'd had that discussion, and she thought he'd turned himself around, but she never knew. At his words, though, she couldn't help but look a little surprised. "You're welcome," she said vaguely. "I hadn't planned on not coming back, so I assure you I'll try to be here next September," she continued, smile appearing on her face finally. He was definitely a different Treyen from the beginning of term, and she nodded at his parting words. Only to find herself locked in a tight first year hug, and she looked down to see little Nika. "You're welcome," she said with a soft laugh. "Next term will come before you know it, so have some fun during the summer as well, okay?" She didn't want the girl to do too much studying, even if she was a large supporter of people pursuing interests to further their knowledge.
Returning to her teacup as the little Gryffindor left, she glanced up again as she heard Josh yelling and saw him over with Evelyn. Going on about fire in his teacup and slipping papers into his pocket. That was definitely odd, but coming from him it wasn't too surprising. And it appeared to have woken up the Slytherin girl. Sitting back in her chair again, she watched them. "Class ended, so you're welcome to move this conversation elsewhere," she said with a smile. Preferably without her teacups, but she was curious what would happen when Evelyn found out he'd taken her list.

Did she just glare at him? Eh, that was natural since he had woken her up and it was probably going to be nothing compared to the one she would shoot at him if she ever happened to see that list with the meaning.*shudder*
And there she had just asked what it meant. ''What? What are you talking about?'' the boy asked with an expression as if he had not been aware of the current situation, like he was the one who had been sleeping. ''Fire? It means nothing. It is just fire. Anyway...now i think we can look in your cup. It seems more interesting than mine'' He definitely did not need to mention the fact that he actually could not see what she had in there.
Especially not when she was asking for the list. ''List? Is it gone? Maybe it just got bored and walked away. Who cares about a list anyway? It shouldn't be hard to make up meanings for those tea stuff'' At least now Josh was ready to do his best for it and was thinking what to say next just when he had heard the professor's announcement that the class had ended. Move the conversation elsewhere? With pleasure! Move it to the file of 'Not To Be Mentioned Again'.
Then the Gryffindor boy just had remembered it! He had asked the professor to look into his cup at the end of the class! Yeah, he did. So, holding his cup away from the beautiful she-snake, Josh stood up ''I'll be back. I need to show this to the professor to see if there'r any quests'' At least this was going to keep him safe from the discussion of the meaning of fire and the search for her list.
So, move! Mooove! Once he approached to the woman, the Gryffindor boy took a deep breath for relief and just presented his cup to her. ''Well...professor, can you now...look in this?''And ignore the flame. Was there a flame? Surely NOT!
*puppy eyes*

It seemed the warning Renée'd given had, well at least made a bit of an impact on the Gryffindor and the Slytherin, or at least on Josh. He seemed to take her statement as an exit from explaining his theft of the list, at least. She grinned as he seemed to remember his request, and opened her wooden box long enough to nestle her teacup inside. It looked like her own reading was going to have to wait, but she still wanted to head out of the classroom. There were assignments she needed to post and everything, at least. And most everyone else seemed to have left by now anyway.
With a glance toward Evelyn, tempted to break professor protocol and say something about her list, she resisted and turned her attention to Josh as he finally made his way to her table. "I could," she said slowly, setting the teacup that had been thrust at her onto the table before standing up. "I'd like to maybe move this to my office, though. So I can get things changed back to normal in here, that sort of thing." Picking up her box carefully, she shifted it to one arm before picking his teacup up again. "I can bring this with me, or you can take charge of it," she continued, giving him a smile before glancing over to Evelyn again. "You're welcome to come too, if you like, Evelyn."
