Divination 1 Once you arrive to the Divination classroom, you enter to find what looks like a standard classroom setup. Desks arranged in the center of the room, facing Professor Bishop's desk and organized into pairs, look toward a charmed blackboard which currently simply says "Divination Lesson 1" in a graceful cursive. A good-sized bookshelf is against the right-hand wall and contains a large amount of small fabric-wrapped shapes. Professor Bishop is seated at her desk, writing on something, the wooden box from her office moved to the desk in here, but she's still aware of the room. Don't think she isn't, just because she looks occupied with other things. Feel free to take a seat, talk quietly, get your things ready and class will start shortly. Feel free to post your character entering, speaking to each other or the professor. I'll check in when I can, so don't go overboard, and the lesson will begin tomorrow. |
Isobel walked into the room; it was very pretty. She found an empty table and sat down. Hopefully someone she knew would come soon so she wouldn't be alone. WAIT- "Hello Professor," she greeted before she could forget. She already had...but at least she remembered eventually. |
Rae walked into the Divination classroom to find... It wasn't Professor Reynolds.. It was... THAT LADY INTERRUPTED! UGHHH. This class was gonna be fun. She resumed walking to a seat that was in the middle-ish of the room.. Not wanting to put herself in the attention sections.. Foe she didn't want extra conversation with this lady. |
Selina walked into the divination classroom. She had seen the teacher about and she seemed the more pleasant out of the Professors. Holding fast to her bag she walked up to the desk of Professor Bishop. Brushing a strand of free red hair behind her ear she bowed her head to her teacher and said, "Hello, Professor. I just wanted to take the time to tell you that I am looking forward to your class. My name is Selina. I'll be taking my seat then." She said bowing her head in respect one last time before she say at a table and saved the other two seats for Elektra and Violet. When she sat down she pulled out a piece of parchment, her self correcting ink, and a phoenix feather pen. She was ready. |
Jacob walked up the stairs, to the Divinatin tower... why did he have to do this on a full stomach. It almost felt like he was gonna vomit. When Jacob walked into the classroom, he saw a board some desks and a proffesor. It all seemed very normal. And even better Jacob didn't need a wand! Which was good cause Jacob didn't have a wand... Jacob saw the professor do something, so Jacob gave her a simple "Hello, Professor" and took a seat. Yup this year Jacob was actually gonna pass Divination... Maybe. |
Emily entered the divination's classroom. It was a surprisingly pleasant place to be. "Remember to keep an open mind", she muttered to herself as she went to take a sat towards the back of the classroom, "Hi Professor Bishop", she greeted quickly, noticing that she was busy. Emily took out her quill, ink and some parchment ready for note-taking. At the top of her parchment she neatly wrote: Divination -Lesson One |
Divination, yawn. The class made him tired but Legend couldn't complain much. If he sat at the back, that just meant that he could get more sleeping time in. And he could dream about the mystical beyond. Or whatever. "Good morning Professor." Legend said politely with a nod as he entered the class and sat down. |
Parke peered into the Divination classroom. It looked normal enough. He stood there for a moment, perfectly still, until he realized he was blocking the doorway. He took a deep breath and slowly made his way over to a random seat. He hadn't wanted to take Divination. In fact, he wouldn't have even been here at this moment if his father hadn't insisted he take every class possible. They hadn't anything like this at his old school and he had no idea to expect. And that scared him. He gave the room, and the professor, a wary glance, as if they were conspiring against him and then started taking out his basic classroom necessities. Ink, parchment, qui- He paused mid motion. Did they even use this kind of stuff in this class? Frowning slightly, he carefully put everything back in his bag. He would just wait for instruction. And so there he sat. And waited. |
Selena skipped into Divination, where she hoped the professor was nice and not evil or waiting to bite their heads off. Seeing a new teacher she waved and smiled. Divination wasn't so bad, she remembered fun times of teasing Alex in here - too bad they weren't friends anymore. Whatever though. "Hello Professor, how are you today?" Selena greeted before she took a seat near the front, pulling out her books and stuff. Weeeh, class. Divination was one of the only cool or fun ones it seemed. Hehehe. She hoped that they would get nap time... |
Rene walked into the classroom. Divinations....one word BLAH. "Hey professor Bishop" she said as she took her seat and placed her head on her hadn and waited for the class to start. |
Skot walked in the room carrying his supplies for the class. He tripped as he walked in the room and dropped everything he was carrying. He scrambled to grab everything and then stood up and found a seat. He looked around the room and saw a few other people but not many people were there yet. He walked up to the teacher. "Hello professor. I'm Skot Brooks. I look forward to this class. My mother speaks highly of the uses for divination." |
Alyssa walked in. She said "Hi Proffesor!" rather cheery, and waved with a smile. She sat down and unpacked her things. |
Wisteria entered the classroom feeling good today. She walked in and noticed that Professor Bishop was writing things down, possibly for the preparation of today's lesson. "Good morning Professor." she said eagerly. She walked to the far left of the room sitting in front. She pulled out a piece of parchment and her ink quil. She headed her paper: Wisteria Hartly Gryffindor Divinations: Lesson 1 She looked over the bookshelf containing covered fabric items. She sat there and wondered what they could possibly be. |
Raven arrived early, he think , but it find out some student more early than him, as he always do, walking silently, finding a chair pacing a desk. Divination what is class going to teach, fortune telling, he minds. "Good day Professor" he say simply |
Divination. Seriously, what was the point? He didn't need to know the future; he needed to embrace the present. Sigh. Oh well, maybe he'd like the class. The actual classroom set up was nice, too, unlike the total creepy-hippy feel the Divination class at his old school had. *shudder* Anyway. "Hello, Professor," he greeted, taking a seat a few rows from the front, in the middle. "I'm Dallin McKinley." he added with a bright, I'mma Good Kid smile. |
Emmaleigh hiked all the way up to the divination classroom, and let out a little pant when she reached the door. She was so excited, and yet so nervous about this class. Taking a deep breath, and walked into the room. Seeing a seat at the front of the room, the young Puff headed to it. It was an unusual move for the girl, but since Divinations was one of her favorite classes, she wanted to have fewer distractions. As she sat down, the girl smiled at the lady behind the desk. "Morning Professor." |
Alice wandered into the classroom, leaning ever so slightly to the left because of her rather heavy bag. Maybe she was carrying round a few too many books but she might need them! She made her way to a seat fairly near the front of the classroom then stopped suddenly before she sat down and turned to the professor. She was not going to make the same mistake she had made in potions even if she hadn’t gotten yelled at like the other students. “Good Morning professor” she said with a smile. There we go now there was no chance of her being called rude. She sat herself down, slipped her heavy bag off her shoulder with a sigh of relief and took out a piece of parchment and a quill. |
Honestly, Treyen Lockhart did NOT want to enter, he lingered for a while outside the door preparing himself for the no-Nolan scene. But he couldn't just give up Divination, right? He actually liked the subject very much as to not be a part of it, not to mention he'd been pretty good at it before. There was also a part of him that felt curiosity at the thought of having this woman as a Professor. There was something about her...he was simply curious. The boy straightened himself and sighed, then announced his entrance with a simple "Morning, Professor," and made his mind go blank. He didn't want any memories from when Nolan was here to be in his mind...or he'll break down in class. He took a seat, not at the front like he used to. He took nothing out of his bag either. |

"Hi," he said happily, taking a seat and pulling out his books. He noticed that Treyen hadn't unpacked any of his things and wrinkled his brows. "You ok?" he asked. Something seemed off about him. Or maybe Alex was just crazy and imagining things. |
Divination. Adam remembered writing down the dreams last term in his log, and seeing how that connected with his future life. In a weird way the one about spies and him being a sidekick to Kurumi was seeming to become true, so this interest him more. Dreams impressed him deeply how it can say something about who you are or what emotions you are feeling. He entered class and sat at the very front, to get the best out of it. |
Chris climbed into the tower, less than excited for her Divination lesson. She knew she would have to work hard in this class. It just wasn't something you could study. "Hey..I mean good day Professor," she said, making sure she didn't sound disrespectful, "nice handwriting." Well, it was true! Quote:

Was she nuts? Who knew... She didn't believe in Divination or being able to even try to tell the future, but well it could be useful if she was able to do so. So figuring better to be safe then sorry TJ decided to at least attempt to attend one class, maybe two of Divination. She wasn't too hopeful she'd get anywhere, but oh well. Finding a seat as far away from the front as she could, she plopped her bag on the floor, and sat down. |
Entering the class room the tired Hufflepuff supressed a yawn, brushing an unruly stray curl from her face and behind her ear, the girl's dark eyes shifted toward the professor behind the desk as she greeted, "Hello Professor." a small, polite smile on her lips. She would have asked how the woman was but being that it looked as though she were busy, Katie went to find a seat at one of the few empty desks left, because there was no way she was going to end up sitting beside a certain blonde haired, green-eyed Gryffindor boy. Taking a seat near the front since it seemed few others were willing to, Katie set her bag at her feet and pulled out the usual class room materials: Parchment for taking notes, a self-inking quill to write the notes with and the textbook itself. With that done and set up, Katie crossed her arms over the book and rested her head on top. Just until class actually started, you know. |

Witsy looked up when she noticed a girl was standing in front of her. "Oh, hey Chris, it's nice seeing you." She smiled and moved some of her stuff indicating for her to join her. "Sure can; how are you?" Witsy's pocket started making bubbles, oh no, she thought. Popping them with her hands. "I was practicing charms studying the simplest of ones and I saw ones dealing with bubbles my wand backfired" The bubbles started multiplying, "What should I do?" She was hoping Chris would have some idea. |
Jaina walked into the classroom and looked for the desk furthest from everyone...including the teacher. Today was not her day so far. She felt it was best to just keep to herself for the rest of the day. As she waited for class to begin, seh opened up her copy of Much Ado About Nothing and continued to read. |
