He shook his head a few times, the deafening tune still ringing in his ears. What did the professor say? Stand in attention? Salander scrambled up then skidded to Jake's side, snapped rim-rod straight and bellowed "MA'AM YES MA'AM!!!" His eyes spared a quick side glance at Jake-- the Hufflepuff looked like he lost a thousand-galleon lottery by one number. By the side of his mouth he murmured "Wha?" |

Oh, Maya sometimes forgot how young some of these kids were. Right. She didn't want to start arguing with the boy, and well, he probably didn't need a partner for the next part of the lesson. "Allright, you can do this on your own then." The Mexicana sighed and then turned to Fee. Quote:

Hold on there. Maya turned around to see who it was that was answering her previously asked question. "Oh, Miss Morets. That was actually a question just for Miss Feenella...but good answer." She smiled and nodded once at the girl. SPOILER!!: Salander and Jakers What was Jakers trying to do now? Act all innocent? Sighing again, Maya lowered her head, looking at the boy with a serious expression "Be careful, Mister Morgan. I do not tolerate lying and I will take points if you continue." Plus he wasn't getting out of detention if he continued. Salander's sudden 'outburst' actually made Maya jerk her head towards him in surprise. But the way he stood made her pretttty superior. Discipline. She liked it so much. But..."Easy there Mister Salander. You'll have time for that later." In detention. "Now, I suggest you tie your legs back together. It's time for the serious part of this lesson." HEHE. Serious? Ppfffft. Very good everyone, you are doing quite nicely! With exeption of those who keep falling on their butts and...other things. "Also, I will be...'severing'," she'd make quotation marks in the air if she could, "...one of your limbs." Just like, a heads up, si? Without further ado, she then also pointed her wand at the students, making their costumes become more...alive. And cue next song, since some people apparently didn't like the first choice. Heh. Oh, she could start dancing around right about now. OOC: You will all recieve instructions by PM on what part of your character's costume will be 'severed'. That, in combination with your partner's 'severing', you will have to try and keep eachother on your feet and not cause too much damage to your classmates. ;) The point of this? Just (hopefully) pointless fun, plus letting your characters know how it could feel when the Wizarding world modifies creatures to keep them hidden from Muggles, and vice versa. In a sort of extreme way. *cough* If you do not recieved a PM from me by tomorrow, contact me! |
Jake blinked and stared around at the Iron Salander, his expression still the same... though he was mildly amused by the boy's antics. But not by this situation. Arrrrr >_> Quote:
TECHNICALLY he hadn't lied. Jake had SIIIIIIIIIIIIMPLY been practicing walking, to all... errr... most intents and purposes. It had been SALANDER who'd opened the door. But Jake didn't say that. Being loyal and all. "I don't want a detention," Jake mumbled sullenly, QUITE the little child as he pointed his wand at his and Salander's legs and casting at them. "Incarcerous." Maybe he cast it a leeeeeeeeettle too angrily, because their legs were tightly bound together. Wait, what? "A... limb." Jake looked wide-eyed at Salander. "We should've run while we had the chance." Ahem... "I'm quite attached to my limbs. In more than one sense of the word." |
Jamie had yet to find a partner and then before she could even try to comprehend everything going on around her, her costume, and herself for that matter, had lost a wing. She felt unbalanced. One side of her was heavier than the other and it almost felt like she could topple over at any minuet. She looked around at all the chaos, the music not helping her really. She then toppled over and fell on her side. "Can somebody PLEASE help me up?" |

Other leg! And then the next. And then the next... "Totally." she repeated, though in a tad less enthusiasm as Arya did. Why? Because the girl just tugged her closer, that's why. Merlin! Her balance wasn't that bad to be practically carried. Unless the Hufflepuff girl was the one having trouble then...Well... Evelyn supposed that it was a good plan then. Stay close, and stay in the rhythm of walking. Quote:
WHAT? Almost stopping, and realizing that that was probably not a good idea, Evelyn looked over to the Professor with wide eyes for a moment before, not having seen her create quotation marks in the air with her fingers...before she felt kinda weird that is. Like, she could just carry Arya instead. Meep? Really, she didn't have that much arm strength but, now...she felt perfect for the roll as beater on a quidditch team. Bwahaha! Oh Merlin. Being so close to someone, them invading her space, it was messing with her mind! Her aura! Her inner peace and sanity! It was all going to the crups! Or perhaps the shock of going to have one of her limbs SEVERED just caused a huge adrenaline rush. Yea, Evelyn would like to see the Professor try and sever one of her limbs. "Is that even legal?" |

Well, Iris thought that her and Ama had walked around with three legs quite well. They'd only fallen over a couple of times, and the height difference had actually been pretty helpful. She stopped walking, and motioned for Ama to, too, when Saylen announced to the class that they were moving on. ... What did she mean, severing their limbs?!?!?! Iris stared at Saylen. She'd been sharing teaching methods with Lafay, hadn't she?! The prefect winced, expecting her arm to fall off or something, as Saylen whipped her wand out on the class. ... But that didn't happen. No. Something really weird happened. The wings were fluttering. Woooooaaahh.... She ... she was half-butterfly!! Iris stared over her shoulders, at the fluttery wings. Iris also noticed that one of them was damaged beyond repair, all crumpled and half-missing. *wibble* She'd spent so much time making them, too. Surely, Saylen would fix them at the end of the lesson. Iris looked down at Ama. She was dressed up as a bunny rabbit. She was going to start hopping, wasn't she?! Oh dear Circe, this could go badly, bady wrong. Iris' only wing was on her left hand side, and it already seemed to want to take off. No way was Iris going to be able to fly, though. Not with one wing, and definitely not with a mutant bunny-child attached to her leg. :whaa: |

"But professor, I'm quite fond of my limbs." she said, causing her to almost fall over and take Nika with her. Good job she regained balance in time. Then, as the teacher pointed her wand at them, Emily felt a strange sensation in her legs. Like they had been walking for days without stopping. "Nika? What do..." she had started but before she (or Nika) knew it she had started into a power walk. "Sorry Nika. I don't really know what's happening" Then she was getting even faster. And faster. And faster. "What's happening?" she cried, even though she coudn't help laughing. "Nika!" |
Sorry! I've become quite melodramatic! xD Quote:
Kita glared down at her feet and willed her right leg forward again. Why was this harder than it should be? She looked up at the Professor as she heard, quite loudly, that everyone was going to have severed limbs. Maybe that was going to explain the weird things that were going on. Like all the wobbling. Quite confused, she absent-mindedly touched her head and felt just the one ear. "Uh-oh," she whispered, "Not an ear!" Kita heard a faint mumbling; although it wasn't a mumbling to her, more someone singing in the opera. But she knew that voice. She looked round instinctively at the person singing and smiled. "I didn't know you were a singer," she whispered to Vashti, "Shame the song got changed though." She looked back around again. All of a sudden there were a lot of noises entering her ear. Whispers turned into yells, squeaks turned into high-pitched screams and the tiniest of scurrying was as if she was in the middle of a stampede. All this noise was making Kita's lone ear turn and twitch to the carious directions of the sounds she could hear. This wasn't good for Kita, someone who got distracted easily. Maybe this explained why she was wobbling around so much. And it was happening again. Although, this time, it was getting worse. She was losing balance and before she knew it, she was grabbing onto Vashti for support. "Vashti, help!" she whimpered, tightening her hold on Vashti's shoulders. |

Text Cut: Luna Laufghudd Sierra had done well focusing only on what she and Ella were doing so far. Her attention had mainly stayed on the two of them and their tied-together legs. That is, until she heard one little word that caused her to jerk her head up in surprise--severing. She glanced at the professor with one eyebrow raised in wonder. Just what was this woman up to, hmm?! Surely she meant she'd just remove part of their costumes. Sierra wasn't going to lose an arm or a leg, was she?! She barely had time to register the fact that the professor had withdrawn her wand before the damage had been done. Text Cut: Emishlon Sierra heard everything Ella was saying to her. Really, she did. She was just having an extremely difficult time taking her focus away from staying on her feet and not falling straight forward and face first on the ground. "E--lla," she said, her eyes widening a little. What was wrong with her?! She'd been doing so well up until this point! She took a hesitant step forward but started to stumble even more so than she already had been. She steadied herself just in time by using an arm to grab onto Ella's shoulder to assist her with her balance. "Sorry," she mumbled to her partner. "The more we walk, the more I seem to having trouble staying on my f--eet!" she explained, nearly falling down on that last word. |

She looked at Simon. "My tail is gone!" She loved her tail, just as long as she got it back at the end of the class she would be happy. "Lets keep walking." K-Lee said to him. Taking another step, K-Lee soon lost balance without her full tail and fell over. "Ow." K-Lee said rubbing her arm which had hit the ground wrong. |
Amadeus heard the newest instructions and rose a single eyebrow in shock. "What?" He mouthed, turning to Brae with an unspoken question in his eyes. "We-" He stopped, feeling strange. He felt good. Really good. As if he could run at the speed of light or climb a tree. That was when it happened: Deus' eyes landed on a nearby tree and his face lit up. "Let's climb this." He spoke mechanically, a glimmer in his eyes as he nearly forgot that his leg was connected to Braeden's. |

It. Was. TOO. LOUD! At first, the poor Gryffindor boy was just completely puzzled. But then he remembered the Professor's words... Was this it, then? Was this his... 'severing'? Super hearing!? All of a sudden, he grinned. Oh yeah. This was going to be awesome. Braeden was just about to turn and give Deus the good news when he suddenly found himself falling to the ground, landing on his bum (which was nicely cushioned thanks to the oversized costume). "GAH! What the--" Braeden opened his eyes and tried to sit up only to find himself being dragged away on the ground, like a rag doll. "DEUS!" What the bloody hell was his friend doing!? He was moving like lightning, Braeden could barely keep up with the blur he'd become! "Slow down!" GAHHH. He tried to sit up and pull his leg back, but Deus was moving way too fast to let the boy do anything more than be dragged on the ground like a rag doll. |

As the rocking motion, took over, Patroclus and Cedric began to power along. Turning to his partner, "Oh, a prize would be cool!" the Lion Boy grinned, nodding in agreance, "But even thought it is a game, there is nothing like a prize to get the blood pumping." As the picked up more speed, Patroclus nodded again, "I think these legs are the right ones," he said, referring to the feet they currently had joined. Quote:
His feet that were no longer on the ground!!!! Patroclus was airborne. The sensation at his back, as his huge magnificent golden wings beginning to beat, pushing him off the ground. "Cedric! Grab onto me!" Patroclus cried remembering he was still attached to the 'Puff Prefect. Small tears started forming in the corner's of his eyes. He was flying, and not on a broom, but with Abraxan Wings. He was Flying! |

hehe, 'tis quite alright xD SPOILER!!: Professor & Kita Severing their limbs?! But- But- Vashti liked her limbs. She didn't want any of them to leave her body! But it was too late. She was already starting to feel different...though her arms and legs were still there, so that was a plus, right? But still something felt off. She wasn't yet sure what... But then she started to feel wobbly, like she was going to fall over any second now - and she had a feeling she would. Flailing a little, she quickly grasped Kita's shoulder to steady herself. It was in that moment that she caught a glimpse behind her, and she had to blink several times to make sure she wasn't seeing things. The tail of her peacock costume - which no longer looked like only a costume - looked about half the size it was just a minute ago, maybe even smaller than half. Was THIS why she felt so off-balance now? "Singer?" Vashti repeated as the song changed, still holding on to Kita's shoulder. "Oh no, I'm not. That hardly qualifies as singing anyway really." |

"Err Sorry Emily. I'm really sorr- MMMM smells like--" Nika sniffed the air, "MMM like berries. I WONDER IF THERE ARE BERRIES HERE!!! Maybe there are some in the bushes or something!!!!" Nika's thoughts were being spoken out loud. "Emily... I think I know what my change is." She tried to speak as Emily broke out into a very fast paced walk. Emily could you please slow down a bit? What's the rush? EWWWW! I think the crup might have done a little something in the grass! It smells awful!" Although the stench was coming from pretty far away Nika could smell it perfectly. "Why aren't you holding your nose? Can't you smell it too?" Nika said as she had two fingers pinched over her nose. Her voice sounded ridiculous and nasally, but who cares. It helped get rid of that awful smell.... sort of. |
Maya rather ignored all the scared faces that suddenly turned to her, but the fear seemed to be calming down...somewhat. Heh. And now the spell was taking effect and all the students were almost acting like animals and... Quote:
Maya frowned, hearing the yells of the Prefect, then blinking as she saw him...hovering. The spell must've gone all weird with that one. "There there, Mister Patroclus, not to worry." Maya approached the pair and tapped the young boy's feet with her wand. It should make him get his feet back on the ground soon enough. "No flying in my class." Sha announced calmly, adressing everyone even though she was standing by the two Prefects. So... Quote:
"Mister Kipling!" Eeeeeeeeeeeeh. She watched him rush away. Should she...do something? "Mister Stonem, are you allright?" She called out, watching the...quite speedy walk. Heh. |
Quote:
"Sorry about that." Amadeus apologized, bit his lower lip while his blue eyes couldn't resist darting to look back at the nearby tree. "It just came over me." He placed his hand on the back of his neck, scratching away nervously as he hoped that he didn't make a total fool out of himself in front of most of the student body and especially Braeden. Turning to face Professor Saylen, the rougey blush on his cheeks deepened. "Sorry, sorry. Lo siento, Señora." He murmured disconcertedly like a scolded child. |
Quote:
What in Merlin's beard! Hearing his companion's words to continue, he simply nodded and moved to continue figuring it all had to do with the professor's lesson plan and would be returned to normal. At least Simon hoped it would as he noticed the others around him. He didn't think he could get used to the idea of being a phoenix till and if it could be fixed. Their movements were ok for a couple of steps before he felt himself pulled backwards as K-Lee fell, the captain falling himself. "Yu...k?" he asked her concerned finding himself alright except for his speach. Reaching up his hand to his throat this time he was surprised to find feathers there that he certainly hadn't added to his costume. Too weird! |
*While running the race with the first year girl something odd happened. Out of no where his right leg started going odd. He could still stand on it but just wasn't right. Sadly he found this out mid run and ended up falling over taking his partner with him.* "Woah! |
