"A Dolphin is a mammal. It meets all of the items to be one that Biology list for them." Cass grins slightly, so many good answers and the most obvious people, or humans, was given just before he spoke up.

He looks around at the displays here, he does feel bad about the 'stuffed' animals here. But it is safer than trying to walk up to a real lion or Nile Crocodile, or even the walking tank the Rhino.

"Yes, sir." Benjamin grabbed Jaina's hand. "Thanks for trying, anyways," he said to her.

"Mr. Stryker, sir? Did you happen to get to know Argus Filch? I heard from my father that he was really hard to get to know, and squib. And he had a thing for using the old detention ways, but never got to use them. At least not while my father was here." Benjamin heard something about mammals. He looked to Jaina, "Hey, aren't Badgers mammals?"

"Yes indeed they do. But birds, who lay eggs, are not mammals, and they also have backbones. Could you think of anything else that might help something be classed as a mammal? It is a good guess though, Miss Browne." She encouraged, knowing this was not an easy subject. But, they would be moving on soon so this didn't overwhelm them all.

"Very good, Miss Stone." Maya nodded at her first answer. Hearing her second answer though, almost made her skip with joy. "Yes! Indeed they are. Good thinking." Woot!

Why did this girl look like the answer disguisted her? Hehe. "Good answer, Miss Smith. Milk is a very important nutrition."

the Mexicana nodded as Jake shared his knowledge...alot of it. "Indeed. That is another important part of mammals. Good answer(s)." Hehe.

Maya stared. Stared at the boys answer. Well she stared at him for his answer. "Yes, these creatures would be mammals as we are in the mammal gallery." Unless she made the wrong turn? No. "But very good, Lions are indeed mammals."

"That is true, Miss Smith." Maya nodded, but gave the young girl a look as if to say the Mexicana was the one leading the lesson here.

"Allright, let's go over here." Maya walked over to the next stuffed up animal. Shudder. It was a great white teddy-bear looking animal. "This, is a Polar bear." Mhm. "Who here can tell me where these fellows live?"

Time for more chocolate-coffee. Yum.

"Poland," Jake put forward with his hand raised slightly. He KNEW where they lived, sure... but he was DISTRACTED... and couldn't remember if it was the Arctic or the Antarctic... soooooooooooo... he'd go with neither on PURPOSE.

Plus, they DID have zoos there. Duh.

Emily eventually looked upto see the teacher give her a look.
Gosh, even the teacher thought she was a nerd.
"Sorry Professor." she muttered and went back to looking at the floor.
She could never do anything right!

Emily felt her hand twitch. She. Wanted. To. Answer...
"Polar bears live in the arctic." she mummbled. She wanted to say more, but didn't want to come across as a know-it-all again...

Mwahahha! See even Prefect Pat agreed with him. But then the Transfigurations Professor said no. "Couldnt hurt to ask Professor." he shrugged. He then turned his head at Mr Stryker and smirked. Well it would've funsies if Professor Magnus accidentally on purpose turned the dino alive and Mr Stryker was still in the pen. Jurassic Park FTW!

Then Hottie Saylen decided to keep the troop moving, going into the next exhibit. He wrapped his arms around Lexi as the Professor started on her next question-- What are Mammals? Mammals.... Mammaaaaaals "Mammals... they produce milk.... hence the name." Yeah, and thats all he's gonna say about that. Heh.

Oh she pointing at the bear? Oh! Summer knowledge 101. He racked his head if he ever saw any of these at the South Pole. All he really saw was lots and lots of penguins. And that occasional Giant Squid. "Uh, I think they're from the North Pole Professor. I didnt see much of them in Antarctica."

Trixie was HORRIFIED!

The Head Girl had been a vegan most of her life and now suddenly she was being led into a room that wherever you looked, there was a stuffed animal with it's black beady eyes just staring at you, almost like it was begging for help. But she couldn't help them, that was the worst of it all. And it wasn't like she could look away anywhere because there was literally an animal around every corner.

She shivered as they were led over to a polar bear, her eyes looking down at the floor rather than at what she was being shown. She wouldn't look at them, nor would she answer any of the professors questions. A shudder travelled down her spine as she avoided the exihbits at all costs.

Where was Freddie when she needed him?

Where were people coming up with the Arctic, from solar?

Maddie stood next to a girl who looked about the same age as hewrself and looked up at the freaky dinosaur thing. Of course, she knew it was powered by electricity and it wasn't going to eat her or anything, but she had to admit it still creeped her out just a little bit.

But at least she wasn't the only one creeped out by the dinosaur. By the look on the other girl's face, it scared her too. Maddie smiled at her and held out a hand. 'Hi, I'm Maddie,' she said 'It's weird, isn't it?' she added, nodding in the direction of the model.

"Oh Emily! Try to look at least a bit excited!" Nika jumped up and down. She was having a blast! Animals interested her.

Nika turned her head and noticed that yet another professor decided to tag along. "OH! Hi professor! I didn't know you were coming! How are you liking it here?" Nika bounced up and down while she waited for her to answer. "I'm having a blast!!!"

"Awwww Professor it's soooo cute!" Nika just wanted to go run up and hug that thing. "They live in really cold weather! Where it snows all year!" Nika couldn't think of where exactly, but she tried to describe it.

After shooting Sierra a look for her stuffed Gryffindor comment - at least they were considered mammals! Snakes were cold blooded and incapable of chewing their food - Kurumi raised her hand. "Professor, polar bears live in the Arctic circle," she said. "What is interesting is that they are considered a marine mammal because they spend many months of the year in the sea."

Christopher followed the professor, a bit shy in a class full of people he didn't really know. "Erm, Polar Bears, scientifically called Ursus Maritimus, which translates to 'sea bear' in Latin, live in five nations. They live in Alaska (a state in America), Canada, Norway, Russia, and Greenland. Many people believe that polar bears live in Antartica, but that's actually not true. Penguins do though." He'd always had a huge love for animals, so he felt pretty natural just going off about them all the time, even if he did seem like a huge nerd. Because, well, he was one!

Emily gave a slight smile, but coudn't really manage a full one.
"Sorry. I just don't find stuffed animals that... cute. It makes me sick just looking at them. It's like they're just staring..."
Ew. But she'd try to be more excited... in the next exhibit.

Then again, Ellie had definitely seen her sever the cruppie's tail. Hmm... SHe was indecisive right now.

When they had reached the mammal room, Ellie stopped dead. "T-these aren't real are they?" Or weren't. Whatever.

Kita followed the Professor over to the next stuffed animal. Even if they were stuffed, these animals still looked quite scary. Who knew if they were truly alive or not? Or maybe that's just her being stupid. But still, these stuffed animals gave her the creeps.

Woah! She peered closely at the Polar bear, slightly intrigued by the way it looked so... different. "They live in the... Arctic?" she asked, tearing her eyes away from the big white mammal and looking at the Professor.

Nika shrugged, well she thought it was adorable. Nika was going to mention how she had a collection of stuffed animals at home, but she decided that this wasn't the best time. It was probably better if Nika didn't show Emily her puppy stuffed animal that she carried around everywhere. Nika pushed it farther down in her bag to make sure it wasn't sticking out. Hopefully Emily didn't notice. "Stuffed animals aren't that bad." Nika tried defending her iccle puppy.

"They live in arctic climates for the most part." Her eyes were on the poor dead polar bear with a bit of curiosity as to how he died. "But they can sometimes be found in warmer climates. Not really warm, just a bit warmer than the arctic." With Grizzlies and stuff.

Lexi clung to Salander as he put his arms around her and sighed slightly. At least she no longer had the overwhelming urge to run and hide. Raising her hand slightly she said, "Well... I reckon they live somewhere where there is a lot of snow. I mean... animals tend to be the color of their surroundings... that way they blend in? Or something like that." Unless it was a demiguise she reckoned that was the case.

Sierra stared up at the polar bear with a rather blank expression on her face. The creature honestly looked like Yeti in her opinion. Or something similar, at least. She didn't really know exactly where they lived, but if the amount of fur they had all over their body was any sort of clue, she had a few ideas. "Probably somewhere really, really cold. I mean, look at all that fur--that's nearly a winter coat they have to wear all the time!" she replied. "It can't be anywhere warm..."

"Yeah, but these were once real animals! How would you like it if, once you died, someone cut you open, stuffed you and put you on display for everyone to see?"
She had the feeling Nika and her were not on the same page...

Jake shook his head in TOTAL disbelief. So people were going to start protesting about this animal stuff when it WASN'T one of Lafay's classes. Typical... ABSOLUTELY. They simply couldn't speak up when they were killing lobalugs but now in a museum...

He sighed, and moved off to the side to half-distance himself from the group, but not too far.

Mmmmhmmm. Right. He'll probably test her some other time, because hiding a power like that was just mean...for Aaron's purposes, that is.

Sigh. No, really, Treyen sighed. And then smiled at his friend. There were others small dinosaurs, right? And he supposed he could favorite one of those that didn't have feathers, or the flying ones, which weren't dinosaurs, technically speaking, but who cared? "Fine. You can have it," he said, shrugging.

Girls will be the death of him. Surely.

Or not. Er, wait. Miss Lockharts? Yeah, Arya wasn't a Lockhart, and he doubted she'll be one in the future. Certainly not. So, he blinked a couple times at Saylen, perhaps he and Arya were spending too much time together? Yeah, that was probably it. Or...since they BOTH said Velociraptors, then, Saylen knew it belonged with Treyen and decided to go with the Lockhart choice. The obvious one, because that was his dinosaur.

Man! Mr. Stryker was the best! Seriously, the BEST. But then, eek! His face had reddened again thanks to the Groundskeeper. And he hoped Ellie hadn't caught that. Both the redness and the thumbs up.

The boy gave the man a small smile.



Oh! She noticed!

"Oh, yeah, I do, he's a much better Groundskeeper than Masterson ever was, really...," he started to say, with a nod, trying not to pay attention to whatever the thumbs up could've meant, "He's pretty awesome, too." And could take away Saylen's position in no time. Ha.

Treyen's eyes widened. Whaaat!? Ellie could never be on Saylen's side. NEVER.
"Yeah, to you she isn't." He whispered, and shook his head. Though, he was glad that was the case, because if Saylen was ever mean to Ellie, well, then, Mr. Stryker will be the next CoMC Professor, for real.

And, well, Arya falls into that same category too.

"None of this is real...," he said, uncertain to whom was Ellie asking the question. "...yet. For all I know, I mean." Well, it was perfectly clear that he had no idea where Saylen was leading them to, so, maybe she could lead them to a place that had some live creatures or something. It was unlikely, but he didn't know.

But...er, Ellie couldn't possibly be scared of this creatures now, could she?

Were these creatures...real? As in, they were once alive and now...they were here? If so, it was really kind of creepy. Vashti would've preferred staying in the dinosaur exhibit.

Now they were talking about polar bears? These were easy. "They live up north, I think. Like, waaaay up north." Like in the Arctic. Or were they the ones that were in Antarctica, which would mean they were waaaay down south? She could never keep that straight.

Noticing the look on her friend's face and her impossible lack of class participation, Vashti stepped up beside Trixie and gently nudged her with her arm. "Hey. You okay?" she asked quietly. Was it the animals that were bothering her? They were rather creepy, after all.

Solar bears? Leave it to Jacob to mix up a 'p' with an 's'. "She's asking about polar bears, not solar bears," Vashti whispered to him. Were there even such things as solar bears?

Selina felt like throwing up. These poor animals were left to be forever prisoners. They would be poked at and studied during their eternal rest. The Professors answer did not help.

"Educational purposes? Why can't they have a place for Muggles to go and look at them alive. Keep them in cages or something? Even cages is terrible."

Looking over at the white animal Selina thought hard, where would they live. Judging by the coat of the white animal it would have to be somewhere cold, "I'm guessing the Artic Circle?"
